10/10 stay
Everything was up to par, room was clean, workers were very very friendly and it’s the most perfect location
Bar area very cold
Fab refurb
Excellent condition following the recent Refurb!
Comfortable and check in staff very helpful
The staff was really supportive especially Ismail, who helped us with our luggage as well. Will definitely highly recommend it.
The hotel is located close to ground transportation facilities and 10 minutes away from subway stations. The room is average size for European hotels and clean. The breakfast is okay, except it’s the same every day. Our problem was the noise. Every day, early in the morning and after 10PM someone was dragging some big containers (our room was facing the back of the building) and the noise was unbearable. Not too bad for the price we paid.
The lady on reception in the morning (Sandra maybe) was excellent. Beyond helpful and really friendly
Lovely location, lovely staff, lovely all round
It was super convenient for where we were going. Efficient check in and out. Small but clean room with everything we needed-and more
Staff good and friendly. Room very comfortable. Gaucho restaurant very poor and overpriced.
Room was overlooking an alley which had loud deliveries crashing sounds from 5am, hotel should invest in soundproofing or at least provide earplugs.
Small room but located next to landmarks
Loved how close it was to London Bridge. Self check in was nice and there was a pub downstairs. Double bed was quite small for two average sized adults. Pretty small room
We have stayed at Club Quarters City many times but this was the first time since the hotels 2024 refurbishment was completed. The refurbishment is excellent....... both in design and execution. Staff (as always) were most helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Very convenient
Excellent little hotel in easy reach of transport to central London and in the heart of the beautiful historic City of London
Ok
Pretty good arra
The room was lovely, cozy and quiet in the evening. However, the AC was very loud, and there was no handwash or handsoap in the bathroom which was very inconvenient.Overall I would recommend this hotel.
Get your elevator up to speed please. Was on the 8th floor and took me 10min to get to groundfloor this morning.
Enjoyed my stay for my first time in London! Good area & great staff!
Nice place to stay
I almost didn't book this hotel for my husband and I as I read some of the reviews on line but I am very glad that we stayed at this fabulous hotel. Great location, beautifully furnished bedrooms and a great breakfast experience. We were met by Gabi when we arrived and she checked us in very promptly. Very clean hotel throughout with everything you could ask for. We were very glad that we booked breakfast (available 8-11am on Sunday mornings) and we arrived at 10.45am. We were not rushed in any way and that was greatly appreciated. No breakfast items were cleared before we left and it meant that we had a relaxed, enjoyable meal. The gentleman at checkout was extremely pleasant and cheery but I do not know his name (no name badge). My husband and I agree that we will definitely stay at this hotel again and are very thankful for such a wonderful experience for our visit to London. Keep up the good work. Two very happy travellers from Belfast.
A hotel that has thought of everything! Clearly designed by someone who has stayed in a lot of hotels - not one thing I think they could have improved
The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet and bed comfortable. Easy to walk to Tower of London, Bank district, multiple metro stations.
Was grwat
My second time staying at this hotel and I will definitely stay again the next time I am in London. It’s located in a great spot that is walkable to lots of great destinations and tourist spots, easy dining close by, Daily happy hour and snacks available. Rooms are clean, although some of the bathrooms are pretty tiny and kind of awkward. The beds are comfortable, and the hotel is overall pretty quiet
The check-in for our 2-day stay was fine. The room I would say is at best a comparable Super 8, not even a Red Roofs Inn. Very basic room and not sure how to convey the view outside the window of other walls of the/a building about 15 feet away. I'm not sure this is standard protocol, and we were not told that the room only gets made up every other day unless we request. If you don't know when you check in, how would I know until we got back in the following day at 9pm. The only thing I did like was the bed, but not the pillows. Everything else pretty standard. Floor tiles in the bathroom were loose. We added the breakfast for I believe $15/day each and it was awful! The scrambled eggs were watery and lots of salted meats. They did have one kind of cereal, Corn Flakes. So overall I will look for a better place next time and do not recommend Club Quarters Hotel London City.
Awesome service
I booked this stay for my parents to have a weekend away in London and they loved it. The hotel was lovely and they had the best time
Smart and clean modern hotel. Very relaxing stay.
Excellent stay and very helpful staff
Very helpful staff. Room was clean. Great position close to Liverpool Street Station.
Very nice room but was a bit noisy being at the back of the hotel. I was a disappointed with the gym could use more equipment.
Great location
Housekeeping only available upon request.
Great location. Self check in systems were having problems which were frustrating but staff were lovely while they battled with it and the hotel was great - quiet, slept brilliantly, nice spacious and nicely furbished rooms
Clearly going through an upgrade to the rooms but I got assigned one that was in very tired and rough condition. I paid extra for the privilege of a small fridge and microwave. No TV channels, room facing the street and 2nd floor which was super noisy, and right by the elevator- room 202. Location convenient for the city.
Great location and staff were very nice
Newly renovated, stylish and comfortable . Decent sized rooms with big shower. Breakfast adequate. Shower pressure mediocre.
Really easy check In, great location with really good links, excellent value for money, out room had a microwave and a fridge, definitely reccomend
Comfy bed
I’m really surprised to see the positive reviews against this hotel as it wasn’t a particularly enjoyable stay. The room was quite dirty and very dated, not at all like the photos shown, you would have thought it was a different hotel. They are clearly going through a renovation and have photographed the renovated rooms only - except when you book it appears to be pot luck what you get. The bed was also two twin beds and mattresses pushed together. Staff were not particularly helpful at all, I had no idea whatsoever where breakfast would be and received no information around this upon checking in, despite paying for it in my stay. Breakfast seemed to be crammed into a corner in a dark corner restaurant and did not feel welcomed at all, when I was seated by the staff and then asked to move half way through my food so another family could use my table.
The room (standard room) was only average at best. The bathroom was sub-standard and is not what I’d expect for a CQ. Overall, the room was not very clean. The check in/check out process was okay, and the holding deposit was less than expected. The breakfast was surprisingly nice but again, breakfast times are not clearly shown anywhere but in the lifts so get there early! We (and other guests) struggled to locate the dining area as well. More signage / a pamphlet of the amenities/services in the room would be helpful.
The staff at the front desk was friendly and attentive, clear and concise, and the included breakfast was delightful. The location is walkable to many of London’s most notable monuments and if you were looking for a man in finance, this is a good place to start but I prefer the ravens at the tower, personally.
Noisy. Not sure about the reason but could be due to refurbishment but being when up at 6.30 on Monday morning isn’t great. Room was adequate but small. Only one lift working which was so slow I took the stairs. Not great.
need improvement
Great location! Large rooms, very clean
I was in London for business and the hotel is in the middle of city of London Blocks, which is great for walking to the main areas on the financial sector in the city. Hotel is renovated, the room was very good, super clean, staff is super friendly. Some areas are still under renovation.
Not in, I understand many hotels are
Buzz
Hotel in process of being refurbished in the lobby reception area. Otherwise not affected. There was however an intermittent buzzing throughout the night which was annoying!
great location! huge room
Great location but currently doing some renovations.
London CQ was a cozy stay in the heart of London. Extremely walking, providing us with a large range of food options and entertainment within the London Bridge area. Not too far from most areas and the underground was extremely simple to utilize.
Clean, quiet and massive bed
Not super clean
The Club Quarters is located conveniently to downtown London. It is under renovation, so can be a little noisy. There was a leak on the bathroom floor. Probably from the toilet. The bed was soft and comfortable!
Under Construction
Newly refurbished room was fantastic. Disappointed that lobby was closed and under construction, which was not communicated or disclosed prior to my booking. I could also hear construction noise from floor above during day. Wifi connectivity was very bad.
2nd stay at a CQ in London, we'll be back!!
Excellent amenities, great location for access to Tube stations, comfortable bed.
The breakfast selection was very limited choices.
Hotel undergoing renovations. No luggage stand in room. Everything just seemed a little 'off'. I've stayed at Club Quarters in New York several times - this London QC is nowhere near that standard.
They should have mentioned that the hotel was under a major refurbishment - and rat traps inside the dining rooms is a little off putting but it is a good hotel and the bed was comfortable
Under renovation when I stayed. Other than that it’s a nice hotel and location.
Very convenient hotel!
Comfortable stay in heart of the city
Clean hotel in heart of City close to Monument and Bank tube stations. Easy check in. Lobby currently undergoing big refurb so crowded, messy entrance at moment. Average size room for price. Comfortable bed and clean shower room. Lovely big wall mount TV. Rear room with no view from window but means it was very quiet at night. Joined to Gaucho Argentine restaurant. Excellent quality food. Also used for the hotel breakfasts. Big Wetherspoons next door.
It was an ok stay - the light coming under the room door from corridor lighting made for an uncomfortable sleep. The property is having building work meaning some facilities were not available and entrance is via side mock up entrance / reception, this was not advised in advance. Check in wasn’t great I was directed to a self check in machine and wasn’t advised of what was and not available where and when breakfast was .. or how to access the gym which is down the road .. staff were ok but it seemed like guests were an inconvenience and no terribly welcoming
Very quiet stay right at the heart of the City.
Our room was clean and comfy and quiet. The facilities were excellent, with a restaurant and a lounge room with free tea, coffee and snacks. There is also a pub situated right next door. The hotel is situated close to Tower Bridge and The Tower of London, there are 2 tube stations close by and it’s an easy walk to everywhere.
Very good service
Good location. Unfortunately, the hotel was under construction and the room is quite noisy.
Staff was courteous and helpful even while under going renovation. The room was a great size and nicely furnished. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Never had a well-regulated shower yet in England and don't expect one here either.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not know that we had to request housekeeping to tidy the room because it was tidied after our first night. Once this was explained to us, everything was lovely. There is a nice lounge with coffee, tea, and snacks, open 24 hours and an exercise room. The property is walking distance to the tube with easy access to all over London.
Not enough milk left for tea/coffee
Staff was extremely helpful, rooms were nice. Great location to the major subway lines.
Room did not have a mini fridge or safe, but was otherwise clean and comfortable. Property is currently undergoing some renovations, so reception/lobby is very small and cramped and must be reached via a side entrance.
Le quartier est tranquille le soir et la fds. La chambre était exiguë et pas très propre (toilette).
A Saturday Night Stay
Even though the hotel is going through some refurbishment it was very clean and fresh in the temporary public areas. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms were very well equipped, super comfortable and very clean. We are planning another trip next month.
Great hotel in heart of London. Also walking dustance from most of tge London attraction. And breakfast amazing, especially my gluten free freshly baked mini loafs.
They were undergoing remodeling so the front reception area was closed, but the staff was really great. They allowed us to store large suitcases prior to our stay while we took a train to Scotland for two nights with just our backpacks. When we returned to check into the hotel, they had already moved our items to our room and everything was ready to go. We didn’t get to have breakfast or spend much time in the hotel but our room was spacious and clean.
Excellent
Location was great with many attractions nearby and transport. Was extremely disappointed with hotel . It is very run down and even though they are renovating the entrance and sixth floor the remaining rooms are extremely tired. The carpet and bathrooms are very old. In our room we could not close the window and was a safety hazard, the toilet would not flush properly and power socket broken. For a four star hotel paying around 200 pounds a night it is not value for money. At best I would rate it a 2 star hotel.
The hotel is under renovation and there’s limited security measure. People who have the room card are supposed the ones that can enter the hotel from the side door, but people who do not have the card also followed others in and can follow into the lift and continue. When I asked if there’s security cameras on each floor, the front desk was not sure the number and the location of the camera. The front desk was nice however. The hotel is fairly old. The people who was in the next room was on the phone and I felt we lived in the same room. Noise insulation was none. I saw hairs in the bathroom. The door crack is huge and the lights from outside can shine in at night and I had to use a pillow to block the light. The location is great, easy and convenient.
Not great
Not informed about work being carried on onsite facilities like bar and lounge area as seemed non available due to work being carried out.
Club nights out !!
It was excellent, as we were allocated a newly refurbished room on the top floor and it added to the overall experience of spending the day in London.
The property started a construction project the day we checked in making sleeping in impossible
We liked this hotel not far from tube and nice area. V quiet on weekends
We loved our 3 day stay at Club Quarters Hotel. The location was perfect from which to explore the city. The room decor is dated but everything was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfy. All the staff, especially Loum at reception, were professional, polite and helpful. Thus was an altogether lovely stay.
Na
Great hotel for the price.
Weekend away
Trip to London with my partner to see a show at the Coliseum. Hotel was easy to get to from Stansted airport with Liverpool street station so close. Hotel is good overall but the bathroom needs an upgrade especially the shower area. The beds were super comfy and we slept very well. Would stay again.
Expensive but adequate
Quaint hotel with a historic yet modern feel. (Cost was higher than our nice hotel in downtown London) Unfortunately our room overlooked a central roof area with walls/windows on all sides. Other parties in our group had nice garden view. Don’t accept Room 40 if you have other options. The Friday night Pudding Club was a neat experience. You’ll need advance reservations as it sells out.
Would stay again
Courteous staff. Great breakfast options. Well positioned for walks in central London. Would stay again.
Lovely hotel. Even better when the whetherspoons is downstairs.
Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Rooms are small but comfortable. My only beef is the bed was too close to the wall which made it challenging getting out of bed and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up. That's challenging for a guy. Complimentary coffee and cookies are good. Centrally located. There's a nice market across the street, Market St. Tube nearby, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, River Thames, monument dedicated to the fire of London in 1666, an incredible market right across the Tower Bridge and if you like Indian/Bangladesh food or into Jack the Ripper, the East End/Whitechapel is close. I would recommend staying here.
Good location
Terrible Customer Service
While we were staying we’ve got in from a night out at approximately 11 o’clock and somebody came into our room using a key. We were told the next morning that this was a member of staff, but this member of staff did not knock to check anybody was in the room before entering which would be I assume normal procedure! As this was quite late at night we were on top of the bed and neither of us were clothed, as we were quite warm, and the man was quite far into our room before we both shouted and he then left. We reported it immediately on the night and spoke to the staff again in the morning. The only explanation was that the member of staff was supposed to go into the room next door and came into our room instead, an apology was not forthcoming. It was just that’s the explanation and that’s that. We asked for it to be escalated which they said they would but we heard nothing during our stay. As we were unhappy with this we emailed to which we got a response saying they would investigate and get back to us. And yet, as at the hotel, we’ve heard nothing! Terrible customer service.
Poor quality for extremely high cost
Dated bedrooms. Bathrooms with curtains and outdated. Extremely poor and unsatisfactory breakfast. Fried Eggs were swimming in oil and deli session (sausages) boiling in water and clearly just off the can. Upon asking for boiled eggs staff response was “sorry we only do that - fried eggs”. Nothing in line with the check in team service and I feel it is outrageous to serve a customer that buffet. Carpet floor had breadcrumbs all around and lights very dark in the environment. This was City (threadneddle) location.
Great
Great short stay
Great staff, smaller than expected room but it was very comfortable
Great location and decent rooms
Decent rooms in a great location.

Great location. Lovely clean room and very beautiful building for a reasonable price. Would stay again.
