Clearbrook hotel was very nice! Brook right outside our ground floor room. Nice setting and close to town. Very clean and spacious. Had its own washer / dryer - with packet of laundry soap! Wish we had a room like this at all our stops in NZ.

Great place to stay in Wanaka.

Spacious and very well equipped apartment. Close to town centre facilities and short walk to Lake. Also close to food trucks which we took advantage of. Apartment provided washer and drier which was extremely helpful. Bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Nice little balcony overlooking the stream and garden. In the higher price bracket but worth it for facilities, location and view

The property is described as “well appointed”. I would describe the furniture and bedding as cheap to average ( I am comparing to other places we’ve stayed which use similar descriptors). The bathroom was clean but felt very institutional like a hospital or dormitory. The staff and communication were excellent. If you’re looking for something basic, this place fits the bill. We were looking for something more higher end and considering this was one of the more expensive properties listed, we were disappointed

Our room was clean, quiet and close to town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we definitely recommend Clearbrook.

Old motel that newly remodeled. But the shower is just an area that surrounded by the shower curtain. The shower curtain was not long enough to prevent water splashing out in the bathroom. After shower the whole bathroom was kind wet. I hope they will improve it, move it down more to the floor that would probably fix the problem. Otherwise, it is a nice property, nice service, and convenient area.

Great stay and very clean,convenient and had A/C which, for us, makes a big difference. Will be staying there again.

Rooms were like a small ski lodge. Very comfortable with a small kitenette. Would have loved to spend a day relaxing in the room if we weren't so busy going on hikes, going out to eat etc. It's an easy walk to the plethora of nearby restaurants and the Wanaka tree. Parking was free. Would stay again.

Absolutely lovely, no matter where you sit there is an outstanding view. Room was very clean, bath was amazing. All staff we had interactions with were lovely. Wouldnt stay anywhere else, totally recommend.

We were in a studio room for one night. This is a very nice property with a nice staff, fantastic location, and all the amenities we could possibly want including a washer and dryer in the large room. If we would have been in one of the upstairs rooms would have given it a 10/10 rating. But the downstairs room kind of had the feel of living in my parent's basement. It was very clean, but a bit dated and plain and not up to the level of a 9.4 rating on Expedia. I would definitely stay here again if I could be assured of being upstairs.

The Clearbrook is an older property and, while well-maintained, is not exactly modern. Our balcony with a view was great, except for the small Sky/Netflix billboard in the foreground. We appreciated all the little touches - extra milk upon request to go with coffee, fluffy towels and heated towel bars. It’s in a great location. Easily walkable to the lake and restaurant/shopping area and around the corner from the Cinema Paradiso!

This property is suitable for a short stay to explore the area.

Spacious sunny unit spitting distance from town

Great area and apartments were neat and tidy with all needs catered for. Just a slight problem with checking in as receptionist didn’t ask for any ID and unfortunately gave us the wrong room initially but was soon sorted out without any issues. Highly recommend place.

Great place to stay. Kitchen facilities work well, bathroom has a spa, washing machine and dryer, rooms are all quite large and clean. Best of all, little rapid right outside the room with BBQ facilities and ducks visiting. Great for couples and families to stay. Better than expected.

Lovely rooms with patios on the 1st floor and balconies on the 2nd floor. All backing up to a babbling brook. Very relaxing and quiet. Room was spacious and comfortable. Walkable to town center. No issues

What a great little motel. So close to walk to everything. It was super clean and we appreciated we could do a load of laundry the one evening we were there. Check out the local movie theatre if you have a free evening, it is so unique and one of a kind.

Well equipped, clean and well located. Was a pleasant surprise and delivered all we needed. Having our own washing machine and dryer in the apartment was very convenient.

Large, clean room that even had two big comfy chairs in front of the TV. Free Netflix. Dedicated parking space. Room was a bit dated. We were very happy to see the room had a free washer and dryer! Great location near restaurants.

The rooms are modern, clean, and pleasant, with a great view of the mountains is excellent through the large windows.The owner and staff were great and changed my room to a location that was better for me. I would recommend to ask for a room on the second floor as the parking lot is right next to the doors of the rooms in the first floor.

clearbrook is in a lovely location. Just a couple of blocks into the Main Street. The gardens are lovely and it has a lovely stream running through it.

Heart of Wanaka

A fabulous motel only minutes walk from the centre of town. We loved the fact it had a stunning view over the stream up to the mountains. The washing machine & dryer was a bonus too! Would happily stay again.

Superb Value for Money,

The motel exceeded our expectations, was very well equipped, spacious and conveniently located. We would have no hesitation recommending it for a stay in Wanaka, indeed I commented to my wife how you could spend a week there without problem. We were only overnight but wished it was longer. Slept really well on the king-size bed.

Excellent well equipped rooms in a quiet location. Room contained a full kitchen with washer, dryer and cooker. Bed was comfy and there’s a sofa area with Sky TV. Outside area was peaceful with the only noise from a beautiful brook running close by. Just a 5 minute walk to the main shopping area as well.

Fast, reliable Internet. Real coffee (plunger, not 'instant'). A washer/dryer in the room. This room had everything I wanted. I'd stay here again without hesitation.
