Great hotel
Friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms with really nice bathrooms and a good breakfast.
A few days in London
Nice hotel just off the M4. Very convenient to get to Central London Tube stations are a short walk away.
Room needed a bit of attention in bathroom and bedroom
Room need a bit tlc as shower rail rusty and damp marks on ceiling in bathroom and bedroom. Only one bottle of water, which is unusual as on previous stays two bottles. Not a great variety of biscuits only two packets. On last day of our stay no towels were left in room had to go along to cupboard at end of corridor to get two bath towels. I have stayed in this hotel many times but was a bit disappointed on this occasion.
London trip
Really nice mostly. Bedroom has 2 sockets for 3 guests and one didn’t work which was a challenge as I use my phone as a medical device so must be fully charged! Breakfast and service was lovely,
Hotel is clean and quiet. Located within minutes of the tube into the centre and has a decent amount of underground parking available if driving here.
Nice hotel in a leafy area of London.
Nice enough hotel and affordable most of the time. Speedy self checkin. Quite spacious rooms if you book an upgrade.
Short stay at Clayton Chiswick
Clean comfortable and excellent staff.
Short visit to London
All staff members were knowledgeable and quick to act in resolving any issues. Excellent customer service making a hotel stay go smoothly. The Globe serves good dishes and staff were cheerful and helpful.
Two day stay
Stay was very good. Hotel was warm and welcoming on a coldish day. Staff were friendly the room was clean and well furnished. The breakfast was top notch and I will be returning because on top of everything that was good, the price was very reasonable.
Great hotel for price
Poor bar service
Asked two different bartenders twice for a cocktail and was refused because they were too busy. We were the only ones at the bar. Later I approached the bar manager as we were leaving to go out and questioned the reason why we were refused, he was shocked and immediately went over to the bartenders and spoke to them.
I arrived earlier than planned and went to the hotel to drop off my luggage. They were able to offer me a room earlier than the start of the check-in time. Small gym, but well equipped; fantastic breakfast and friendly bar staff
Myself and other guests complained that you cant control the heating temperature from inside your room. The hotel has large parking area. I would not recommend staying in winter its too cold in the bedroom.
My fav go to hotel
My fav go to hotel. Exceptional lounge. Exceptional rooms (from the cheapest to the most expensive) Excellent location. Extremely clean, I cannot fault this place. Lovely staff as well
Quiet and conveniant
Our room was not ready at check in time at 3pm. We were told that we can leave our luggage and come back later as they werent sure what time the room would be ready. Received our key near 10pm
Overall very good.
We stayed for two nights at the end of December. Executive double room. The room was spacious and clean.the breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that the room was not warm enough and no manners of fiddling with the thermostat would solve it.
Perfectly situated for west side of London - and price comparable with the area. Ample parking and only £22 a night to leave the car very safely in secure car park. Large spacious hotel and our suite was huge with a rain shower, comfortable bed and a full size bath. Helpful, lovely staff. Didn’t have the breakfast but bar type evening meal was acceptable, maybe a little limited in choice but tasty. Underground station right opposite meant quick and easy access into London each day to see all the sights. Also near to Turnham Green for plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Also near Chiswick house and gardens. Will definitely be making this our new base for any future London visits.
Always great!
Beautiful aesthetic, great customer service and easy to navigate. Would recommend
Family friendly
Good quality hotel
Beating the bonkers Central London Hotel Prices!
This was very good value for money. Hotel prices in Central London were set by the Devil’s evil twin! The price to room size ratio in the outer zones of London is far more sensible. In addition, the hotel was a hop skip and a jump away from the Gunnersbury district line station! Richmond and Kew Gardens are not too part and there is still the town of Chiswick Park itself although I think that Richmond as more going for it.
Perfect
Really good location, excellent service. Will use again
One night stay, easy check in. Room was spacious and comfortable. Would happily stay again.
A great stay in Chiswick
The hotel was in excellent condition, our executive king room was a great size, immaculately turned out, lots of wardrobe space and included a huge en suite with a separate bath and twin sinks. There were a few very minor issues with our stay including a faulty tv but all resolved very quickly. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
Great stay !
Really lovely hotel. Very clean room and huge bath! Aaron and the bar staff were super friendly. Breakfast team also lovely !
Great stay worth paying extra for the executive room
I had a large well-furnished bedroom, with king-size bed, work desk and a couple of chairs. Large well-outfitted bathroom with separate shower and tub. Hotel overall was very well maintained. I had one minor issue with arunning toilet, but this was immediately fixed after bringing the issue to the attention of the Reception Desk. Very good, reasonably priced full-Englsh breakfast buffet. Freshly prepared eggs, omelets and oatmeal/porridge available at no added charge. Less than 5 minute walk to Gunnersbuty underground station on the District Line. About 50 minutes to Heathrow airport with connection to Picadilly line at Hammersmith station.
The new wing is fabulous and the hotel is perfectly located if you have work in the Chiswick business park.
Lovely place
Great location only 400 meters from Gunnersbury station. Good cafe and dinning options close by in Chiswick. Happy to recommend
Great choice for a much cheaper hotel stay option outside the centre of London. Close to Gunnersbury Tube for the District Line as well as Chiswick shops and good choice of restaurants. Also has parking onsite which was a plus and outside charging zone- would definitely return
Great comfortable room, excellent staff, breakfast was very good, public areas were clean and nicely furnished. Overall a great hotel. The exterior looks a bit dated, but inside, it is very modern. Good underground parking too, although the spaces are quite small. Will definitely visit again!
Quiet, clean, set up for work. Feel comfortable
Excellent Hotel
Fantastic hotel. Very clean and very modern Food was delicious too Would definitely recommend
Good hotel with spacious rooms! Good breakfast too!
Excellent price and room.
Just an average hotel doing as expected.
Everything was high quality and great service when I couldn’t work the tv. And I was delighted to be given a room upgrade at no extra fee. Thank you!! I always staying at this hotel.
Definitely the mostly clean and comfortable room we had .I loved the design.
Clayton stay - September
The room was lovely and clean and the bed was super comfortable. I stayed in the newer part of the building which is much nicer.
Underground parking was very convenient
Very good
Great location being close to bus routes and the underground - District line. Excellent breakfast with every choice you could wish for. Room was large with large bathroom as well - excellent for the two of us. Staff are friendly and welcoming. And helpful - put our cheese and salami in the hotel fridge as there is no fridge in the room. Would thoroughly recommend.
The breakfast is worth crossing the Atlantic for. The rooms are clean and it’s close to an Underground station. Second time I’ve stayed here and I am glad of it.
I'm wondering why we keep giving Clayton a chance, as every one we've stayed in has disappointed. Check-in was unnecessarily complex, parking is very expensive for the location, the room wasn't all that clean and the bed wasn't very comfortable. In particular, the bedding they use isn't good if you have allergies - both this and the Cambridge one I stayed in recently I've found myself short of breath overnight and struggling to sleep.
This is the third or fourth time I have stayed at this hotel as very convenient for getting in to and parking from the M4, and great for the tube as station just across the road. The majority of the staff are excellent, although a couple of the younger girls on reception were not great. Overall a great hotel for business trips in and out of London
All good. Though the windows in our part of the hotel do not open, which was somewhat unfortunate. Next time would upgrade to a section where the windows open to access some fresh air.
I visit Chiswick every month me and my partner and we love it there, the hotel is great great parking and safe rooms are great
Lovely location close to train station easy for getting into their city
great hotel
nice family room sofa bed wasn't the comfiest for our daughter but was okay for a night. close to tube station and great breakfast
Great property
Nice place to stay
Great for location and price
Good - except for the remains of the previous occupants congealed breakfast which remained outside of our door for nearly the who first day...despite notifying reception.
They upgraded me to an executive room which was good service!
Great location with easy access to Central London from Gunnersbury station. Walkable distance to Chiswick High Road with plenty of options for food. Close to Richmond and near by parks for picnics.
WIFI terrible, could not join planned teams meeting. Although the room was spacious the work station area was small to the point you could not sit on a chair except for one small area
Location was ideal for an event we were attending at Gunnersbury park. Hotel lovely and room really nice! Breakfast was disappointing for the price as lots or items running out and took a long time to replenish and we were on a tight timescale Overall good hotel and we would stay again
Clayton overnight
Fabulous as always. Easy check in, clean and very comfy bed ! Lovely hotel can’t fault it.
A modern, clean, friendly hotel
Great hotel, chosen due to close proximity to Gunnersbury Park. All hotels are expensive in London nowadays so we were just expecting an average hotel. This was very modern, extremely clean and well kept. Rooms were great with very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend. Staff were all friendly.
Great location for an event at Gunnersbury park
Excellent hotel. Good quality. Great GF choices at breakfast. Sound proofing very good in room. Very spacious bathroom. Would stay again.
Some restaurants to eat which is close to walk
Very nice stay
Hotel was very nice the reception areas smelt amazing. The staff were very professional, polite and friendly. The Gunnersbury station for underground and overground was conveniently located about a 7 minute walk away. There is also a bus stop directly outside the hotel. We were going to Kew Gardens which was only one stop way on the train from Gunnersbury. It took an hour from hotel to Kings Cross om the tube or vice versa. About 50 mins to Central London. The room was nice the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very good too with both a bath and walk in shower. The AC was very effective. Iron and ironing board were in the room also hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee bottled water and biscuits. The only thing I could have done with was a mini fridge. On checking the room descriptions this wasn't provided in a deluxe room but was in other rooms. Breakfast was very good some items could have been a bit hotter but an excellent selection available. Overall I would definitely stay again if I wanted to be in this location.
Great rooms and room service i would stay here again
Great hotel. Very handy for Gunnersbury Park tube station. A short walk to Kew Bridge and the River Thames and several nice pubs as well as a Sainsbury Local. Very comfortable rooms and good bar and cafe for snacks. Would recommend to anybody wanting a reasonably priced hotel within easy reach of central London.
It was a lovely hotel. The area its in not the best. Yet the hotel was lovely ,clean , staff okay. Rooms were very ckean and the hotel is good with detail and services in the room We dined in , food was lovely. The fryer could do with a oil change and the mushy peas , wernt mushy peas, garden peas crushed. Overall lovely modern hotel
Routemaster 70 event
Lovely room - room service was very prompt and food was hot. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff very helpful.
.
The staff could be friendlier…. Other than that a great hotel
Very pleasant and comfortable
2nd time stayed at this hotel and both occasions very clear, comfortable and has everything you need. Also very handy for London tube.
Lovely hotel in a great area. Clean and quiet with very helpful and friendly staff

Great east parking outside for free
Had a good two night stay at the Clayton Hotel Chiswick. Lovely room very spacious.
Delux room very disappointing. SMALL.Shower room badly designed....SMALL.TOO expensive for what we received. No comparison with Clayton Cambridge. Will not be returning.....Nice staff.
Metro Traveller
Stayed here many times before. Staff are friendly9especially bar and service staff0. Hotel always fresh and clean. Some minor problems with T.V. in the room and wall socket. Overall good value for money and handy for business and well served by public transport.
I love going to Chiswick when I do the only play I like to stay is the Clayton
Perfect location and decent hotel.
All was good, convenient location very close to tube station. Good and polite customer service. Only thing was that rooms need some tlc. Overall good stay and we will comeback. Underground parking with lot of empty spaces 22£ for a 24hrs.
10/10 experience
An easy choice. Quality hotel and I’ve stayed in many places, this beats the bunch within the 4* range. Super clean, super spacious and very modern and beautiful.
Close to Heathrow, Richmond and Buckingham Palace
Nice place with good staff
Great Experience
Hotel was very nice. Staff were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely friendly. The room was spotless when we arrived, and they kept it that way each day, always having it completed by the time we asked for. Room was a good size, and had a mini-fridge they kept stocked with bottled water. They gave us cookies and tea/coffee each day - a nice little treat at the end of a long day walking around London. Good neighborhood, pubs and grocer and restaurants within walking distance. Park nearby, as well. The only "problem" was the A/C didn't cool all that well, but that seems to be a thing in London hotels, so can't ding them much for that one. They did provide us with a small fan when I asked for one, and that circulated the air much better. Just a genuinely good experience and would definitely book again.
There’s was not enough storage in this size of room for putting away clothes. The shower in bath was unsafe as no runner mar provided to prevent slipping. An elderley person could not use this facility.
Gorgeous hotel ruined by boiling room
Beautiful hotel but room was unbearably hot with ineffective air conditioning. TV didn’t work and a hole in a towel. Main problem was the roasting room.
Have stayed there in the past. Really nice hotel. High quality that hasn't changed over the years. Great for the Airport. Close to Chiswick which has a great selection of eating and drinking. Nice area.
Close to the Underground. Simple from Heathrow. Very good breakfast. Lovely quiet room and comfortable bed.
Staff great and very helpful. Convenient location.
We decided to stay at Clayton Chiswick eventhough it is not in zone 1 or zone 2. This hotel is only 800 feet to Gunnersbury station. We took the district line to Westminster and central London, it’s very convenient. We also took the bus to Hyde park and the bus stop is literally right outside of the hotel. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Our room is big and comfortable. The bathroom is also big and modern. We had a great time spending four nights there.
Overall a good place to stay would visit again.
>Generally easy stay, everything works. >The bathroom sink is awkwardly positioned -- consider revisit when renovating. >Housekeeping lacks attention to detail -- e.g. not changing dirty mugs, or dusting visible places sufficiently. >Staff generally friendly -- bar staff lacks some finesse.
Good location in a nice neighbourhood.
Clean, comfortable and good transportation lines nearby. Kind staff. Overall a great stay!
Excellent
Easy access to tube train and bus links…great cafe for morning coffee and baked croissants.Easy check in and check out
Clayton Hotel Chiswick
USed as a base whilst attending the rugby. great breakfast and friendly staff
Cold
Room 131 was off a cold mini corridor through 3 fire doors by itself and had no heating . Eventually a free standing oil heater was sent up which had broken wheels and was filthy . Then the heating came in . Why not just move us to another room ? The hotel wasn’t full ? Is this VIP frequent use Expedia treatment ? Well it was at the Clayton
