I got there at about 9:00pm and the majority of the parking spaces in the front of the building were blocked or obscured by Construction vehicles pulling trailers. There were parked across spaces or the concrete of the trailer buried near by spaces. The desk clerk who was very pleasant and helpful indicated it was an on going problem.

The room smelled moldy and the bathroom like pee. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was cleaned, but old and discolored in the edges etc. Swimming pool was clean, but also old. The breakfast buffet was good enough: waffle iron, muffins, toast, different cereal, instant oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and good coffee (dark and regular roast). It was simply the most economical option, but I would not stay again.

My husband and I tried 3 rooms and all 3 rooms were dirty and fleas

Our room and experience were excellent

We were looking for a convenient place to stay, near I-75 and with an EV charger. This property checked all the boxes. When we arrived at 9 pm, the charming front desk agent helped us quickly and thoroughly. Our room was on the second-floor, overlooking the pool (which had just closed but looked beautiful). Our bed and pillows were delightfully comfortable. For the "star rating" of this property, our room and experience were excellent. The breakfast was ample, hot, and just right for a long day's drive.

Stay away from this place, it is run down and a little critter met me this morning when I opened the bathroom door after my shower... a roach!

The room was clean and spacious. Shower pressure was good. Location was near many shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly.

House keeping does not clean your room when you are a stay over, tgey will simply check off the room as if its clean then depending on who answers the phone at the front desk so you can simply ask for towels or for your room to be cleaned they will look at a chart and tell you that your room was cleaned as if they check behind the house keepers. The room are around $850.00 per week i think i deserve better house keeping, floors are dirty to were your feet are black if you take off your socks and walk around due to poor house keeping

Could’ve been cleaner

The room wasn’t terrible. It was loud but the main thing wrong was its cleanliness. It definitely needs a good cleaning.

The property’s pictures are SEVERAL years old. There is only 1 housekeeper on duty per day. The room floors aren’t cleaned well. The shower needed a better cleaning. There were no sheets for the pull out bed. The attendant had programmed our key for one night instead of 3. They ran out of breakfast on day 2 30 minutes before breakfast closed and didn’t refill. The pool was closed for two day for ‘maintenance’. The pool was one of the reasons why we chose The Clarion. When we asked the receptionist, she was quite abrupt in her non-answer. Overall, will not stay there again. Would not recommend.

Scary stay

Was highly disappointed with the overall stay. Room smelled like stale people pillow reeked My husband woke up in the am with a large roach climbing on His pillow there was another one in the bathroom

Enjoyed my stay. Room was certainly good enough for a single traveler. Staff was very kind.

Was clean. One of the staff members was outside smoking in front of the doors. I didn’t like smelling the smoke when I went in. My card keys stopped working twice, but they reactivated them quickly.

This is a budget-friendly overnight stop along I-75 in Southern Tennessee. The room has not been updated in a while but the building and room was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would use this hotel again when travelling along I75.

The location was fine. Lots of restaurants nearby. But our room was dirty. We had our dog and when we woke up in the mporning, thousands of ants were everywhere on and in her food bowl. Would not stay there again.

The lady that checked me in was awesome nice lady and I was very satisfied, and the room was quite nice.

It was a perfect place to spend the night while traveling from Florida to Ohio. It was very clean and the front desk was exceptionally nice. They are truly dog friendly with only a small charge as opposed to the other supposedly dog friendly hotels that charge ridiculous amounts and have silly weight restrictions. We will return for all of our trips through the area.

Bed mattress in poor condition. Sheets didn't fit bed and would not stay on. Had to ask for room service to empty trash and fresh towels.

Would stay again

The stay was perfect for us and our two dogs. We were just here late and up and out early. But the room was nice, the shower was a little eh but outside of that I would stay here again. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Checking in was easy. Front desk employee very helpful. Breakfast good. Dead roach on night stand, no one at front desk when checking out.

No issues except for the rooms could have been cleaner. Had "grocery store" feet after walking around barefoot on the LVT. The bathroom toilet was not very clean under the seat (dried splatter at the back where lid and seat attach, along with hair). Bathroom floor was as dirty as the rest of the unit's floor. Just needed a real good mopping and bleaching of the bathroom, that's all.

Exterior of hotel and lobby was very nice. The room looked nice but felt damp and smelled musty. The bathroom wasn't very clean as there was mold under the soap holder in the shower. The floor wasn't very clean either. We stay in the area often and I probably wouldn't book this hotel again.

Stood and waited at the checkin counter for almost 15 minutes. Rang the bell, called the number that was listed at desk in the absence of the stagf, no answer. Finally 2 employees came in from outside and acted like it was no big deal. Property needs updated.

Horrible 1 Night Stay

When we walked into the room, it’s wreaked of mold, and mildew. The room had not been cleaned hardly at all. There was hair, both humans animal hair, all over the bed and animal hair was still evident throughout the room. There was evidence of spiders nests in the pullout couch, with I hatched egg sacks. The bathtub was gross, so we didn’t shower there. And the bathroom door stuck to the floor, so in order to get the door shut, you had to slam it shut, and to open it, you had to pry it open. My wife couldn’t get herself out, so I had to put my shoulder into it to help open the door. The bed also was not comfortable either. If not for the fact that we had already paid for the room, we would have never stayed there. It was only 1 night, but I would NEVER stay there again!

For the price the room was nice and clean. The pool looked green so we didn’t use it.

Hotel was a good price, but pictures are skewed The landscape was not maintained and had weeds everywhere We paid for non-smoking room, but it was beside a smokers room next to our bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom door closed or the room smelled like smoke. The air conditioning had not been turned on before our arrival so the room smelled musty. However, once the air conditioning was running for 10-15 minutes the musty smell went away. The hotel room was dated. The room was clean.

The rooms could have been cleaner. They had a damp almost musty smell. The beds were comfortable and the TV/cable was nice. The breakfast was pretty good. The pool and most everything about the hotel needs some maintenance and updating.

Staff were friendly and courteous. The smelled moldy and the bathroom did as well. The tub/shower had moldy black spots. I would not recommend using this place.

Not terrible, but not great either.

The room was clean. The condition of the furniture and older amenities made it feel a bit tacky. I would probably choose a nicer hotel next time. The price wasn’t that much less than the Hampton or other places at the same location. We were across from the pool that was supposed to close at 9:00 but at 9:30 kids were still yelling and playing at the pool. They were just having fun but we were very tired and it was a distraction. The bed was comfortable and clean. If you don’t want upscale it’s ok. I just prefer something a little nicer. Not a lot of highway traffic which was a plus. The toilet made you feel like you were sitting on the floor. The elevator wasn’t working but we were on the first floor. My wife has trouble with stairs so it would been an issue if we were upstairs. Evidently, the elevator has been broken for a while.

Had a good stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well prepared for arrival.

We arrived late and they called to check to be sure we were coming…likes that. I didn’t feel like our room was very clean. The bathroom smelled of urine, the corners of the room were dirty, Below the headboard on the boxes springs was dirty with some hair. The room was as though someone came through to just surface clean. The room smelled musty.

Beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. The old style motel made us feel unsafe. Poor repairs done in the room and in the hotel made it feel like we were staying in an inner city motel. The Clarion Name has been down graded in our book and we will not stay in another one.

This place looked really nice online. It turned out to be very musty smelling, the bathroom was very outdated and in poor condition, there was a hole in the bathroom door and the toilet hardly flushed. Very disappointed!

Faraway from the airport

This motel is very old, maybe too old. They give to us a room to close to the HWY… the mattress is wrapped in a plastic bag…we are disappointed!!!

The bathroom looked very worn. The caulking in the tub was coming loose and looked dirty. The floor in the entire room felt sticky and every corner had dirt built up. We used the extra blanket and it had black smudges all over it. I won’t stay here again.

I love the vinyl floors, very pet friendly! Facilities are old but efforts are made to update. A few cleaning issues but usually things easily overlooked on a routine.

The staff was very friendly, from the evening clerk to the morning clerk. My 2nd floor room was clean and quiet. It took me a while to figure out how to get more privacy than just the sheers that were on the window, but maybe I was too tried to think! (The side drapes were only decorative. You had to reach behind the sheers to find the pulls for the hidden actual drapes.) Anyway, breakfast was very plentiful with a lot of variety - juices, waffles (two flavors), scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, toast, yogurt.... I would definitely stay here again.

I always read reviews before staying anywhere. My main concern is always comfort and cleanliness. This was great on both counts. Breakfast was not really good but everything else was wonderful.

It was a clean room but both beds were very uncomfortable and squeaked loudly with every movement to where the other friends woke up and the toilet flushed very loud so if you slept solid without having to get up to pee you were good

Noise from next door

Overall a great stay. I stayed in an upstairs room, the only thing "off" was that as I was going to sleep, I heard people clearly talking in another room. I mean it was like they were in my room! Well there is a crack in the ceiling/wall in the back corner next to the sink. It was a short conversation and the lady only used the blow dryer for a minute but it was wired.

Everything was good inside the room except for the cigarette all over the outside sidewalks. I do believe that needs to be addressed

Stood at the check in desk for 15 mins before being helped. The pool was filthy with bugs and hair, no skimmer to clean it. There was a dead cockroach in our room, cobwebs around the curtains, the ac is very loud, the bathroom fan is very loud and no option to turn off. The floors were dirty. The on only good thing was the breakfast but I would not recommend going here and we will not be returning.

Wasn't aware there was a $100 cash-only deposit upon my arrival at 11pm at night. The front desk staffer was polite enough in requesting the deposit, but when I mentioned that Expedia made no mention of this (and I had read over the check-in and stay rules and regulations), she said it was included in the fine print as "other fees at the property may apply". I'm not upset about a deposit; every hotel I've stayed at has put a hold on my card but to require it in cash is a little bit tricky as it's not the norm at other Choice hotels. Otherwise, sheets had some dirt on them and the toilet wasn't running well but I was okay with that for the price.

The first room had hair in the shower, hair on one of the beds and a dirty shower curtain. The second room was even worse but it was too late and we had to be up two early to demand a third room. Woke up and found sticky soda all over the phone and nightstand. So I'm thinking germs weren't really a top priority either.
