Loved included meals

A great place to stay in Stockholm - a direct walk to Vasa/Djurgården, slightly farther but still walkable to Gamla Stan, and an easy T trip to anywhere else. Our rooms were nice but our favorite part of the hotel was the lobby, with its food and lots of comfortable seating. The room rate includes breakfast, dinner and fika (family's most popular Swedish word) and we hung out and/or ate there before and after going out every day.

Very nice stay

First off, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was staying in the associated Parlan hotel located just round the corner from the main hotel. Access was easy and loved the old lift. The room I had was spacious and comfortable. The hotel and room was very clean with room cleaning available on request. Breakfast was simple and tasty. An evening meal was also included in the main hotel however I missed this during my stay. Overall I had a really nice stay and would 100% think to return on my next visit.

Staff great but rooms need updating a bit Would have been nice to have mini bar in room and better coffee options for Italian coffee lovers

Cosy

I stayed at the annex by the name of Pärlan. A few rooms located in an old big flat. Charming. Breakfast in the old kitchen. Cosy feeling

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are very friendly and the hotel provides more than is stated. The evening meal is really nice, there is ample tea and coffee provided at no additional cost. Breakfast is equally good and comprehensive. I am happy to recommend this hotel and would be more than happy to go back again when in Stockholm.

Room is cold. No toilet amenities. Very friendly staff. Our rate include half board. However better eat outside dinner. Include dinner is not so good.

Perfect - except the shower was so small. I’m an small/average sized woman and could barely reach my arms up to wash my hair. The staff and hotel were delightful. They have breakfast, dinner and Fula daily. So nice

Thoroughly recommended for a great family stay....

Fantastic hotel - in a great area of town. We had booked a smaller room but had asked for a crib for our baby to be put in the room - when we arrived (just after noon so quite early) we were told by the lovely, friendly and warm lady on reception that our room wasn't quite ready as we were being put in a much larger room on the ground floor so it would be easier to get in and out of with a buggy and we would have a lot more space with the crib in the room. Whilst we were waiting for the room (and it poured with rain outside) we were told we could relax in the (very comfortable and cosy) lounge and help ourselves to free tea, coffee, cake, biscuits and fruit. Once we got into the room we were not disappointed, it was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was included in the price. Breakfast (as I have come to expect in Scandinavia) was a great spread, but I was a little sceptical about dinner, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dinner was very substantial and very tasty (buffet style main course and soup). The staff were all so kind and helpful and the location was fantastic - a quite area just 10 mins from Stureplan, the waterfront (opera house) and Djurgarden, and conveniently near Ostermalmstorg metro station and a lovely indoor market. Will definitely stay here next time I am in Stockholm with the family again!

It was a treat to find both breakfast AND dinner included!

Great stay in the guest house for the Wellington, the Parlan Hotel. Clean and comfortable accommodations, good breakfast and dinner, and terrific value especially as a solo traveler. The location is very good and a 10 minute walk to the Vasa Museum. The old city and City Hall are slightly further but no concern for those who are okay with walking.

The guesthouse (outside the main hotel building) was not in a good condition. Room quality and upkeep was poor. Will not return

Nice hotel close to centre. Beds need updating. Put on the whole good to very good. There was one downside the television was not in the right place at the end of the bed you kept hitting your upper body even your head on it.

Quaint and Cute attached hotel

We stayed at the Parlan Hotell (which is operated by this Clarion). It was so cute and quaint. It was like we were staying at a bed and breakfast, with the conveniences of a big hotel.

Cozy comfortable hotel.

This hotel was lovely—an old property, but well appointed and incredibly clean. Breakfast was excellent each morning, and the hotel includes coffee and snacks throughout the day. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in.

Good, but needs updating

I stayed in the guest house wing of the hotel - very Swedish and homely, but with slightly dated facilities in the bathroom. The room was also a bit cold, and the pillows on the bed were very tired and old.

Great stay right in the heart of Stockholm

Hotel is centrally located, so you can walk right down to the harbor. Great people watching. Hotel is a great value...breakfast and supper included in price. Staff is excellent...very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to a friend.

All inclusive

I didn't realize the price included a wonderful breakfast and a nice evening meal. My only complaint, was the room and bathroom were really small. Water leaked under the glass shower door a bit. It was quiet though and we slept well.

Great hotel in Ostermalm

This is a great hotel within walking distance of Skansen and the boat launch for all the hop on hop off and Skansen. Saluhall is 3 minutes away for great food!

Nice Hotel close to the city center

I was given a room smaller then I was expecting. The room had a window facing the inner court yard. The room had no safebox. Included in the room price : an excellent breakfast and good supper buffet ! I recommend this Hotel but be careful when you select the room !

Wonderful Stay

Great location, fantastic food, nice rooms but it is the staff that puts this Hotel over the top in my opinion. They took time to answer our questions and address any concerns even though they were very busy. The breakfast was superb and the evening food coverings were even better and having light food choices available saved us so much walking and money.

Good Choice in Stockholm

Excellent location and friendly staff. Nice selection of food. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Minor downsides are the bedroom size is tight for 2 people. The shower configuration made the bathroom floor excessively wet.

Great smaller hotel in Ostermalm

This was a great hotel for a weekend break in Stockholm. The beds were very comfortable, and rooms were clean and well equipped. We didn't eat the included dinner or breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of food. The sauna available for reserve would have been nice, but many others felt the same, so we could never book it. Very nice experience here and would recommend. The location was convenient to the Ostermalmstorg metro stop and all the shopping around Ostermalm.

Nice hotel but with broken TV

Nice hotel but TV was broken and staff unable to fix it during the stay, maybe just bad luck but not what you expect from a high-standard hotel. I booked the hotel not to see the town but just to get some time away and relax, some background-noice-tv in the morning would have been nice but unfortunately impossible

Nice and overall smaller, which made it more intim

5 days here, lots of exploring, quiet in the hotel room and hallway, lovely little balcony, perfect location, especially compared to the waterfront area, street not noisy

Perfect small hotel

Two blocks from harbor, a twenty minute walk to dujardin where Vasa museum is. Upscale neighborhood. Paid extra for balcony room, which faces quiet back. We had 7 th floor which required one flight of stairs. Totally worth it. Amazing view over the rooftops to glimpse the water. So pay for the upgrade. Breakfast is great but the best is the free dinner. It's the same each night except different entrees. We had Mexican and salmon. Plus they lay out afternoon home made goodies like apple pie. Delicious.

Great location, friendly, helpful staff

We spent 3 nights at the Wellington (based on a recommendation by a Rick Steves travel consultant). The room was compact, but quiet, clean and comfortable. The comp,imentary breakfast was well above average. The complimentary dinner was a pleasant surprise (beautiful salads, a delicious entree) The friendly, helpful staff spoke excellent English. Best if all the lication was walking distance to the harbir, Gamla Stan & Vasa museum. I would definitely stay there again.

A definite must!

This place is AMAZING. The neighborhood itself doesn't have a ton to boast about, but it's a 5 minute walk to the central shopping district, the docks, the museums, everything. I selected this location because it was close to the work site, but it would be ideal for tourists as well because of it's close proximity to everything. It's a safe neighborhood, the staff speaks fluent English, and the hotel is very quiet. I was also surprised at the spaciousness of the rooms--I've been on several European trips and you get used to rooms where the bed barely fits in the room, but the rooms were very large and spacious, airy and bright. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. I liked the wood floors everywhere, and it was nice having a personal bathroom (also not standard in most European hotels). The breakfasts were great--there was definitely a Swedish spin with the cold meats and salad items, but they also had toast, waffles, cereal, fresh scrambled eggs, and English breakfast sausages. They also offer free dinner every night, and this is not Hampton Inn dinner--homemade lasagna, stewed meats, full salad bar, dessert. Everything is hot and fresh, even the bread! Also, they have this coffee bar open all day with these delicious little cookies. The hotel staff is very accommodating and lent me plug converters, very helpful with directions, just wonderful personalized service. For the price I paid I would say I got way more than I expected and it was amazing.

City visit

Good hotel for a tourist cosy and comfortable with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary dinner on offer each evening - which we took advantage of on our last night It was good to sit in and chill with some beers and the food after s hectic weekend

Lovely, with Dinner

It was a lovely stay at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised that they had such a great complimentary dinner for the guests. Also, the coffee/tea bar with cookies was a really nice touch. The staff was pleasant and willing to help with directions and suggestions.

Heating problem

My experience of this hotel was very mixed. I thought the staff was extremely good, the public parts of the hotel were tastefully decorated, the breakfast was good and the position of the hotel excellent. The problem was I initially stayed in room 702 which had no heating and proved to be very cold in the evening since it was on the top floor. Also, there were stairs up to it from the sixth floor. After making telephoning reception I was given a heater that gave out a horrible smell, then I was given another heater that suffered from the same problem. Finally, I was transferred to room 101 which was warm but suffered from a lack of daylight due to the window being minute. I am under the impression that I was very unlucky and basically this is good well run hotel. However, I also believe that not putting on the central heating and not properly sorting out a guest s problem was a mistake on the part of the management

Wir waren eine Woche in diesem tollen Hotel und würden es sofort wieder buchen. Besondere Pluspunkte sind das hervorragende Frühstück mit großer Auswahl, die Sauna, die man für eine Stunde kostenfrei zur privaten Nutzung buchen kann, und die Lage. Für uns war es auch sehr praktisch, ein Abendessen zu bekommen ("grundsolide" - jeden Abend eine andere warme Hauptspeise diverse Salate und Brotsorten) - man spart dadurch Zeit und Geld (Essen gehen in Stockholm ist sehr teuer). Toll ist auch, dass rund um die Uhr Tee, Kaffee und Wasser zur Verfügung stehen.

Inte lämpligt?

-Allmänt slitet/skabbigt intryck av rummet. -Omdetta rum var avsett för personer med vissa rörelseproblem så var det absolut inte bra. -Alldeles för låga sängar, verkar vara bortmonterade ben. -Slitna möbler och dåliga, fanns ingen avställningsmöbel för exempelvis resväskor.. -I princip ingen garderob eller motsvarande för att hänga upp kläder. -En strykbräda som var ivägen mellan toalettdörr och så kallad "garderob". -Fanns ingen möjlighet att hänga av sig ytterkläder. -Jag använder rullator och hade klara problem med att ställa undan den. En rullstol vill jag inte ens tänka på. -Entredörren var i princip omöjlig att öppna om man hade rullator pga tröghet och tyngd, samt dörr i korridoren inte hade någon öppningsknapp eller liknande för att kunna ta sig ut/in. Tufft vid brand. Jag måste tyvärr säga att där vi bodde så var det inte avsett för personer med rörelsenedsättning förutom att det var på bottenvåningen.

Det borde finns klädkrokar även på lägre nivå i hallen. Jag reste tillsammans med en 7-åring. Samma sak gäller för tvål- schampoflaskorna i duschen. En enkel manual till tv:n vore bra.

Helt okej hotell men se upp med annexet

Det var otydligt vid bokningen att jag hade bokat ett rum i annexet ”Pärlan”. Det låg runt hörnet, med en annan entré utan reception. En gammal lägenhet omgjord till hotell. Det är inte renoverat och var inte så fräscht, badrummet hade en plastmatta från 80-talet! Jag kunde uppgradera till ett vanligt rum i huvudbyggnaden för 200 kr extra per natt och personalen var tillmötesgående. Frukosten var varierad och jättefin. Middagen var helt okej, men inte mer än så. Sängen fjädrade bra men hade en hård madrass, så det blev alldeles för hårt för mig som behöver en mjuk säng. Rummet var fräscht och välstädat. Restaurangen likaså. Korridorer lite slitna men inte ofräscha.

Centralt hotell nära Östermalms torg. Utmärkt service , sköna sängar, god frukost och OBS bonus: sallader, soppa o enkel kvällsmat, potatisgratäng, kyckling, karré serveras! Kaffe o glögg! Detta ingår!

Ett bra placerat hotell nära till city. Hotellet är i behov av lite uppfräschning men annars bra. Lyhörda rum. Två kuddar som knappt kändes som en normal.

Central sekelskiftesvåning med charm

Vacker sekelskiftesvåning på Östermalm. Trevlig frukostmatsal. Sköna sängar vackert rum. Duschutrymmen läckte dock vatten på hela badrumsgolvet. Enda smolket i bägaren. Eftermiddagskaffe o kvällsmåltid

Jag trodde jag skulle bo på hotell Wellington som jag bokat och betalt rum på. Men så var inte fallet, jag fick gå till deras ”gäst-våning” som i själva verket var ett kvarter bort och där heter hotellet: hotell pärlan. Första gången någonsin detta hänt, men inte ett boende jag kommer återvända till. Frukost fanns, men i begränsad alternativ mängd. Har tidigare bott på flera olika Clarion hotell, men aldrig mer Wellington. Absolut inte nöjd.

Vegetarian and vegan food

If you eat vegetarian or vegan diet you want to stay in the main hotel and not guest suite, which is another building 100m away. They serve good breakfast there as well but the plant based options are limited.

Vi bodde i annexet, väldigt fina rum och sköna sängar. Supergod middag och bra frukost, trevligt sällskapsrummet i annexet.

Good value and great service

My colleague and I stayed in the annex, a small hotel to the side, called Pärlan. It’s quiet and great for just hanging out. If one could book the whole floor it would be perfect for teambuilding or an outing. The fact that afternoon fika and a light dinner is included was a big plus. Granted neither were super amazing but they were adequate and can save you money. Location was excellent for the course we were on.

Vilken trevlig personal!!!!

Vilken trevlig personal!!!! Hotellet var litet och personligt med utomordentlig service, fina rum och ett bra läge bara några minuter från tunnelbanan. Frukosten var toppen. Man bjöds också på eftermiddagsfika och den som ville fick äta gratis middag på hotellet. Vi är jättenöjda och kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Lugnt och behagligt hotell som passade oss 50+ utmärkt en kulturhelg. Bonus att vi kunde boka deras lilla relaxavdelning och basta efter en dag ute i kylan.

Mysigt hotell med jättetrevlig personal

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Nebenstraße des Hotels. Einziger Nachteil nur ein heizungskörper funktionierte und das Bad war von sehr einfach gehalten. Ansonsten absolute Empfehlung- die inklusive Halbpension sehr abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker - allein wg dem Essen und dem lieben Koch würden wir jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Alles sehr sauber, individuell und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Auch die Rezeption - ein junger dunkelhaariger Herr- sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Städningen var helt okej. Frukostbordet lite rörigt och trångt, borde kunna separereras lite bättre.

Vansinnigt fin service avseende glutenfritt

Måste framhålla Sebastian i köket - hans fina sätt att hjälpa oss som har både mjölk och glutenintolerans var extraordinär! Han glada sätt och höga servicenivå var en glädje att bevittna. Trevliga och hjälpsamma tjejer i receptionen skall också ha tack!
