Had all the basic requirements for a nights stay. Nice and clean. Not sure why it was necessary to hand my credit card over as it was all paid for before arrival. [ then handed back ]

Great place to stay within a short walk to the centre of town. Clean and tidy room and a warm welcome on arrival.

3 night stay in Tauranga

Was a 3 night stay in a studio room. The fact sky wasn’t available was a kick in the teeth although to be fair they don’t advertise it on their page here. The room itself is fine, comfortable bed and aircon, decent bathroom and daily service of the room available if you want. One other minor downside is the fact the rooms have a kitchen but no rangehood. Personally it made me nervous to cook certain foods for fear of smoke setting off the fire alarm, which they explicitly say will result in the guest having to pay for the call out fee. It’s a fine room and place with a good location near restaurants, the airport, and a bus stop to get you around, but if pay tv or cooking steaks and stirfrys is important, i wouldn’t stay here

Large comfortable room, easy check in. Close to local bars and restaurants. Good off street parking. Would recommend a stay at this place.

Bit too close to the District Court. However, was convenient for CBD. Fine for a couple of night’s stay, but we wouldn’t want to stay longer.

This property is clean and up to date. My room was comfortable and quiet. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is a short walk from shopping, restaurants, and local walking trails. I will definitely stay here again.

Property was quite roomy and quiet.

Room was average size, bed fairly comfortable pillows a little firm. Bathroom nice and shower was good reasonable pressure, however toilet had a not very nice smell come from it, at time's quite strong (and not from our use LoL). Motel situated in a fairly good place with some restaurants and cafe's in close proximity.

Room was excellent.

Warm greeting on arrival, secure underground parking, very large room ,comfortable king size bed, large 55inch television with full spectrum of programmes, balcony, well-equipped kitchenette, good sized bathroom with great power shower. Many varied restaurants 10 minutes walking, turn left out of motel, 3rd left after that ,The Barrel Room verygood beer and food

All good, no complaints about anything except had trouble finding how to get onto TV programmes!

The room was clean and a good size. It had everything I needed to be self contained for a night, good because the weather was terrible. They have a small car park under the hotel which felt safe and also good access so that I didn’t get soaked unloading and loading the car.

The room and bathroom was both spacious and clean. The bed was big, however it was on the firmer side. The staff were very helpful and professional, and the underground garage had lots of parking spots as well as being a safe space to leave my car overnight. Overall I was very happy!

Like the property, have stayed before but this time on the ground floor which didn't have any windows which I did not like.

It was quiet place to stay after my husband had eye surgery.Very clean ..Comfortable bed.

Great for the few nights I was there. A bit dated through the hallways etc. but rooms have been nicely renovated. Fan in the bathroom made a horrible noise.

We enjoy that the room/s we're big enough to fit 5 of us incl 2 children, it was spacious and clean and had a lovely balcony All the right amenities, the bathroom door was a bit troublesome and the rooms weren't too sound proof. We were often woken in the early in the morning by external noise in the halls. But other than that it was warm and dry. Would definitely stay here again

reception is friendly, great location. Only things is if staying for multiple days things like toilet paper are not replaced or coffee / hot chocolates are not replenished, great for staying local.

Good shower and comfy bed.

Hot water was not working at night and next day morning. So I had to have a shower with cold water.

Mattress on bed was stained, apart from that it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Great property to stay for one or two nights. Easy walking distance into Tauranga central and the eateires and bars.

Nice place - comfortable and very close to restaurants on the Strand. Only issue is the slippery tiles in the bathroom! Be careful!!

Beds are uncomfortable.

Was in a good location private and quiet at night. Feel like work needs to be done to bring up to standard. door lock needed assitance to enter room, Bathroom door did not shut probably, door all bubbled and crumbled at bottom, bench in kitchen big mark and pieces out of it. no bedside tables, staff were friendly.

Everything was perfect.

Clean & comfortable. Had a kitchenette with hot plates & microwave. Parking garage underneath the property provided secure parking. Pleasant stay.

All was good except being awoken by a contractor screwing in screws on unit opposite before 8am

We found it to be very easy to get to hospital for a very early admission. Found its bathroom and kitchen area very clean. Bed was very comfortable. We definitely would stay here again.

Great stay, tidt place, handy location.

Clean, tidy, and quite a spacious room for what we expected. Great having a small balcony to soak up the sun on. Loved the big bathroom, which had a great shower! Bonus having parkin on site too. We were in for Tauranga Jazz fest so it was a great location, away from the busy city centre, but close enough to the action :)

Convenient to CBD

Good value relative to other options around. Convenient with parking and walkable to lots of nice restaurants. Friendly manager. Property a bit tired and I was worried about cleanliness given other comments but it was very clean. If you know it’s not recently decorated then helps manage expectations. I’d stay there again.

Room smelt very bad. Discovered an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the balcony and bath towels with holes in them. Had to ask reception to change these and to deal with the ash tray. Was the room properly cleaned? I guess we will never know for sure. Never again.

I liked its location, acess to downtown & its quietness

Everything was quite nice except the elevator stopped working and we were on the second floor so quite a few flights to ascend and descend every day

Wallpapers were ripping off, weird stains on the carpet. I am staying here with 3 toddlers and it’s making me quite uncomfortable. I see hair in the bathroom and clearly not from us… I mean it’s cheap comparatively but still, I think it can still be old, worn down but clean…

Property was central to everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and having a balcony was nice for sitting out and enjoying a leisurely cuppa.

We shouldnt be forced to add comments. If this happens each time we stay somewhere we will cease giving you feedback at all

Could hear people walking upstairs and talking out in the hallway all through the night which woke up , the rooms could definitely do with some updating but overall was nice and clean and our bed was very comfortable

Last minute unplanned booking due to onsite work issues and having to continue testing the next morning. Searched for 24 hour check-ins, made the booking after 21:30, mentioned it will be a late check-in. Got to site and had to ring the telephone number on the booking confirmation, got a rude unhelpful response that check-ins is only till 21:00. Told him they took my money after 21:00 to which he reluctantly came to open the door and hand me the keys. All while continually berating me for not checking in before 21:00. Rooms are decent, some of the wallpaper need a refresher, but the carpets in the hallway need a good cleaning. Staff at check-out was much friendlier.

Stayed in Tauranga for one night on business. The location and facilities were excellent. Will be back in November

We noted that there was noise between rooms e.g. neighbour snoring. Not too bad though
