Very nice hotel and the staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. Rooftop patio has a great view and pool, and the location is prime! Not a big fan of the Queen room for a couple as the wall that separates the bathroom from the bedroom doesnt go all the way, so if you get up to visit the bathroom at night the light and sound will wake your partner up
Mariana was wonderful!
Was very comfortable the staff very friendly and clean
Mucho ruido en la noche en el último poao
Great location, staff was very friendly. The room was noisy, air conditioner from inside and lobby noises from outside.
convinios need a new mattress
My partner and I stayed here for a week during our trip to Mexico City, and we ended up feeling quite let down by it in a lot of ways. The room itself (standard queen) ended up being smaller than we expected and the mattress was firm to point of us each waking up with back pain each day. It was also clear that the daily room cleaning was basically just making the bed and sweeping, as we had the same sheets the whole time (we could tell because the ones we had from the beginning had a definitive scuff mark on them). Towels would be taken each day but not replaced each day, which led to us either having to ask for them or waiting for someone to knock on the room door at night with them, which was only somewhat inconvenient but unexpected all the same. One last thing about the room is that the wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom doesn't extend to the ceiling, which can be uncomfortable. We didn't end up using the pool because it was a lot smaller in person than the picture led us to believe. And the terrace restaurant, although very beautiful to sit out on, really let us down on the food both times we tried eating something there. Another thing I would mention is that the buildings surround this open section where one can look down to the lobby. Its very pretty, but the safety railing is noticeably lower than what feels (to me) to be actually safe, so that was another strange detail. The staff were great, the building is beautiful, the area is very busy.
The staff was great, I ordered a drink and it was way too sweet. The hotel is gorgeous!! And so convenient at walking distance to Mexico City Historic places! I want to come back to Mexico City and will come to this hotel. They treat you like you are in a palace. Cool thing is that the building has an antique elevator and the building used to be a bank in the old days.
The bathroom is open on the top so everything could be heard and smelled in the room if you stay with room mate.
A couple of things. They didn't have hot water, it took forever to get towels extra, and Expedia gave a voucher for drinks for free and it was not accommodated
We would do it all over again - great hotel, staff and city.
Everything was walking distance, and close by the hotel. Really good restaurants near the hotel.
Lovely boutique feel, great value for money and location
Rooms were a little overpriced for a small room. Not much closet space no dresser. Dont get me wrong, hotel was clean and staff very pleasant, however i would not be staying here again.
Never again. This hotel should not bea Marriott
No hot water in shower at night. Corridors pitch black. Very little illumination. Felt like a dungeon. Air conditioner did not work. Our room was not cleaned until 6 or 7 pm. Restaurant food super expensive for poorly cooked bacon. If one wants more coffee they charge for each small cup, instead of refilling. Door locks difficult to open or close.
The building is old but well-maintained. Rooms and installations are generally clean. Good customer service. It is also well located close to the Zocalo and many stores and restaurants in Centro Historico.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Centrally located to Zocalo and shopping restaurants and museums. Excellent location and felt very safe.
Close to everything! Safe and convenient!
Staff don't care. Get ready to wait and stew.
Horrendous visit. The front desk would not acknowledge us for like 20 minutes when we first arrived. We had to push for them to call additional receptionists to check us in. Then they said the room wasn't ready, and that was another hour and a half wait upstairs on the terrace. But the two comp drinks for being a Hotels.com VIP couldn't make up for the broken AC in the room. It was a furnace the entire night and hotel staff refused to offer a different room. Super glad it was the last night of our trip, so we checked out. Would NEVER recommend. I haven't had an experience that bad.
Extraction was not working in the room, humidity was uncomfortable after shower. A towel was dirty, and a shower rug was wet after they clean our room
Such an amazing place to stay at, the service was amazing!
Hotel and rooms were clean. Staff was helpful and nice. Enjoyed out stay
New but dark with no windows
It's location
My stay was very good here and it is very convenient.
We loved everything the property the convenience of have a restaurant on top of the property came very handy everything was close by thank you for making our stay feel like home
Lovely
Nice property.
Nice hotel felt safe, you can practically walk everywhere. Your about 3/4 blocks from Zocalo, you can walk to Palacio Bellas Artes, El Mirador, lots of places to eat. Loved the pool it’s next to the bar. Comfortable beds, slept great.
This is an amazing hotel. It should be listed as a boutique hotel.
Didn't like bathroom privacy, Didn't like the no windows in any ofthe 5 rooms we had and lighting was very low . Seems as if it was night all the time.
Surpassed expectations
Staff was amazing. Hotel was beautiful and very very chic. Can’t wait to be back.
Very friendly staff, nice and comfortable rooms
Very peaceful. Order room service and two thumbs up too the chef.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I rate this hotel 10/10.
Close to everything
The staff at the rooftop restaurant were slow and mostly unavailable. It’d take twenty minutes to get a single beer, but the place was empty so I don’t understand the delays. Front desk staff was very nice. Facility is beautiful, but I had high expectations for the rooftop experience - unfortunately the hotel was unable to satisfy my needs. I won’t visit again.
1) we were fiven a room without window at first night, i requested to if we can have a room with a windows fir the renaining 2 nights but only the last night we availed it. 2) amenities were for 1 person only like coffee even we were 3 occupants
Es un lugar adecuado para caminar, tiene una decoracion gotica y chic. El personal es muy amable. Si no te da miedo la oscuridad, espacios cerrados o las alturas no te lo recomiendo. De lo contrario es un lugar increible.
Very friendly staff with excellent customer service. The room was very clean. I will stay here again on my next visit.
Unique architecture
Staff was great! All of them were very friendly. Upon checking in Front Desk walked us up to our room and gave a history of the building, which was pretty cool. Lots of shopping close by and restaurants to choose from.
friendly staff . walkable and the area feels safe during day time and night. Room was very nice and spacious
It was close to where we needed to get to & the staff was sooo nice!
The property was in downtown making it easy to around. With no windows in the room ( this building used to be a bank vault), we were not that comfortable. Moreover the bathroom had no sound proof door
Nice hotel with unique character
I loved the history and architecture of the building and the staff. They are very polite , friendly and their customer service is outstanding.
I wish the hotel people would have said that one block in a different direction there was a side street with no traffic and outdoor cafes. I wish they had told us about the terrace dining. I think they can also send you to millennial restaurants instead of places that were nice 50 years ago.
Artistic hotel at inner city.
Very nice the staff was very attentive and helpful it located in a place that is very walkable the only thing is the room I got had no real separation between the room and bathroom and the door wasn’t able to lock it just swung both ways and the water clogged up a little and spilled through the whole bathroom
I liked the building itself. Nice rooms.
Wonderful hotel and even better staff.
The staff was absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to make me comfortable and feel welcomed. 90% of all the attractions I wanted to see were within a 10–15-minute walk, many were less than a 4-minute walk away. The in inhouse dining was excellent. I'm already planning my next trip to Mexico City, and I will definitely be staying here again.
The staff at this property is very professional & accommodating
This place is beautiful!! The staff was beyond amazing!! The rooms were fabulous! Would stay here again!!
This place was AMAZING!! Staff was wonderful n our room was beautiful! Loved it!
The design of this hotel is very nice. The interior rooms are dark. The floors didnt seem swept. There was always hair or dust. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I think hotel needs to have more lighting
Amablemente nos dieron un upgrade y la habitación fue muy linda y cómoda.
Lynette and the entire team at reception to cleaners bar staff security were so helpful and polite
It’s a nice hotel , the area where is located is not the best but we didn’t have any trouble , the customer service , cleaning staff are the best in the hotel
Great location
Exceptionally beautiful hotel in excellent location in City Centro. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms do not have windows and the bathroom walls do not go up to the very high ceilings.. it was not an issue for us but something to be aware of .. would not recommend the restaurant but over all a great stay in a beautiful city.
Highly recommended. Staff was on point. Best hotel ive stayed in
Reception staff ( Sebastien & Angelica) were amazing to ensure a warm welcome to the hotel and for providing a pick up car at the airport. Hotel is very conveniently located. Boutique design ( although a little too dark in the evening - needs better lighting). Only complaint would be lack of service during breakfast ( even with few people there) and not being able to put charges on room.
Great location in the historic center
Design Hotel in the Centre
Design focused hotel in the heart of the old city centre so close to much you will want to see. Quiet at night, rooms comfortable although some with limited outdoor light. Rooftop bar good with a small but nice pool. Staff all friendly and helpful, the manager was great and gave us lots of tips on where to go. Would be nice to have a small fridge in the room but we survived the heat with a cool bag.
Property to dark and not a good idea to have the bathroom open, the room gets to humid
The beds are so hard!!! Like a rock, the pool is so dirty! I wish I would of looked into the hotel better and I probably would’ve not booked there.
Accessible.
Nice place, friendly & helpful staff. Great location building is really cool. Go on the excursions offered, Try the Pulquería a couple blocks away as well. Looks sketch but it’s so good. Didn’t have any food here though but it looked nice.
The staff of the hotel were very kind and willing to assist. Hotel location was ideal for city center as stated in the name. We felt safe during the entirety of our stay regardless the day or time. We recommend staying here and would personally come back to stay at this hotel.
The location
Property is very nice and safe. The only thing I can complain about was, my bathroom door was see through. Which was a problem since we were sharing a room. Other than that my family fault safe and we enjoyed our stay.
Nice modern property in the centre which smells super nice wherever you go. Rooftop pool is a bonus but didn't get a chance to use it. The staff were friendly and helpful, however there are no shower facilities available to use once you've checked out. We had to find another hotel to use for the afternoon / evening as our flight wasn't until 10pm
The property is in the middle of the historic district, walking distance to everything. The property has interesting architecture. We would stay there again.
The historic building
Great stay Very clean
The property was a bank before, so there were rooms without windows. I was charged for a room upgrade, which the manager kindly informed me the next day, was a mistake...that was so wonderful of her to do that. They are syppose to credit it bank to me. Great stay overall.
Overall fine, but some issues worth knowing
Had a nice stay here for a wedding in CDMX. A friend and I split a room with two queen beds - mattresses were on the former side but still comfortable. A few flags that might sway future visitors to other hotels: 1) the bathroom area is *not* separated from the bedroom; there is a door but there is no ceiling to the bathroom so sounds, steam, and another word that starts with S carries into the main area. We confirmed with other guests at the hotel that this was the situation in their rooms as well so if bathroom privacy is a top priority for you, I'd look elsewhere. We ended up just using the lobby bathroom when necessary. 2) the air conditioner - it worked but never achieved the temperature that we set. The steam from the shower (see number 1 above) rises into the bedroom and the AC never seemed to catch up. Additionally, the AC had a very bright blue LED light that remained on all night that was not able to be turned off. Not a huge issue but if you need complete darkness and/or colder temperatures to sleep, this might not be the best spot for you. Aside from these issues, it was a pleasant stay. I think they can improve their environmental impact by having a publicly-accessible water filter to refill water bottles.
😍
No windows in the room
Great location. Great hotel
Unique hotel. Great service,
There needs to be windows in the rooms. It gets too stuffy inside
Hotel location is walkable to many areas and staff was very helpful and attentive. Even though the majority of the rooms do not have windows, you do not feel the need for them.
Centrally located very good service and front desk staff
I liked the hotel, it was beautiful and the front desk people were the sweetest. The rooftop staff was okay but they could improve the service.
N
I loved our experience and it was very tranquil among the very busy life of the city.
Great location! Friendly staff but a bit bothersome with the continuous calls and check ups everyday.
This hotel is pretty and convenient to walk around the historic center. I like that it is unique and doesn’t feel like a big, generic cookie cutter hotel.
This property is beautiful and the check in staff was 10/10! Unfortunately we had some issues with our stay though. We booked a king room and when we checked in they had to move our room as someone had been put in our room- this happens and i understand that but we were downgraded in our room category. When we asked about it the next day they said we could pay an additional amount to be put in the origonal room that was now free as the guests had checked out. We chose not to move and no one ever followed up. We also had some drunk girl knock on our door for an hour at 3am until security dealt with it- we never were provided an apology or even an explanation. It should not have taken security an hour to deal with. Further more our room door lock was broken and on more than one occasion staff had to come reset it with a new key taking over 30 minute's and making us miss a dinner reservation on the last night. Overall beautifully property but be careful that you may not get the room you pay for and that the security in the building is not always there and it is a pretty rough area of town at night. I wouldn't stay here again.
This property is located in a good location if you're looking to explore this area. The hotel has a very moody design which is cool during the daytime, but it's SO dark in the hotel at night. The rooms also don't have windows, which was a big downside for me. The pool is the size of a jacuzzi, but the rooftop terrace is nice.
Bizarre toilet situation
The room has a toilet in a cubicle style thing. So there's no door that seals shut and there's no ceiling to it, so you can hear anyone using the toilet as they're 6 feet away from you with nothing blocking smell or sound which is fun after a 10 day Mexico trip
Pretty hotel I feel safe and comfortable
Nice hotel but poor service
The hotel is very smart, so first impressions were good. The room was clean (although our bed sheets were not changed during a 10 day stay) We ate on the terrace one evening, ordering pizza. It arrived still cold (it was clearly just a frozen pizza) When we pointed this out it was microwaved which made it not very nice. The price for a cheap frozen pizza was extortionate. We did not eat there again. Generally the staff were not very friendly or engaging. I tried to pay for my room during my stay and was told to pay at the end of my stay. The payment was then taken from my credit card without authorisation which incurred charges on my card. Overall dissatisfied with our stay. Would not recommend.
The hotel is very dark and it does not have great amenities for an American guest in terms of English channels, brochures, or concierge service. The bathrooms are not fully enclosed, so the noises and steam from the shower get into the room. Location is pretty good.
Location is great. So many coffee shops, restaurants, stores nearby. Zocalo a 5 minute walk. Staff is friendly. Very clean and beautiful.

Pretty hotel. Our room did not have windows AT ALL. Door was overly complicated to open and lock which made us always think there’s a chance it could be unlocked while we were out. No ceiling on bathroom so everyone in the room could hear/smell…
