Citrus Waskaduwa is well located along the coast not far from two main cities of Kalutara & Panadura. Star quality hotel with extremely friendly staff 👌

Staff and service was amazing, however property looks rundown and haven’t maintained properly.

Front office staff needs to know how to welcome guests. They think they are the owner of the hotel..

Lay out of hotel ill conceived All the rooms were on one side of the reception along long corridors. if you are unfortunate to be given a room at the end of the hotel it means a long walk.And the corridors become flooded with heavy rain making it a slippery slope.We had a function in the Sky Lime hall which was outside the hotel with no toilet facilities or cloak room.Though there was a path leading to this hall it was not covered and we all got wet getting to the hall.Being a week end the hotel was full of locals and there was no room for us in the pool!

There was no toilet paper in the room. We had to request several times before we got it. The sink was blocked.

Beautiful location,The staff and service excellent . The food and service at the restaurant superb.All in all we could definitely say this was one of the best holidays we had and we were so sad to leave.Nothing was too much for the staff and they delivered it with a smile. .

Pathetic service, room condition is worse even than a 1 star hotel. I did a prepaid booking, if it was a postpaid i would have never stayed at this pathetic hotel.

Value for money, direct access to beach, friendly staff

Stayed here for the second time in nearly five years. Nice place. Friendly staff. The property shows signs of age, but still in good condition.

Service was good,but the room condition was not so good a bit old and the wall moldy.

Wi-fi was really poor. But they helped us with a router in our room. Breakfast was cheap.

We loved our week long stay at Citrus. It was beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the ocean and the gardens. The amenities were excellent. The food was amazing. We booked all inclusive which we highly recommend. Not only does it include breakfast, lunch and dinner, it also included several alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages! The staff was wonderful. We give this hotel a big thumbs up!

Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff

Pleasant and enjoyable stay

Open areas, lounges, access to beach and the large lawn area. Food is excellent. Shout out to the wait staff at Lemon Sun restaurant especially Nishan. All a shout out to Nilan managing the pool area.

Great place to relax!

It was amazing! Loved the food and the variety at the buffet. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Bathroom

You could hear people in the bathrooms from the other floors because of the opening through the glass doors. You also got the smell of cigarette smoke from the opening when people were smoking in their rooms from above and below us. When we called the front desk about it , they reacted right away and very positively.

Very nice hotel with a sea view...

Very spacious rooms.Delicious food. But need to change the mattress, not comfortable and it is placed in very low level.

Convenient, clean and friendly hotel

We spent an amazing holiday at Citrus Hotel. The personnel is very friendly and accommodated our requests. Since we found Sri Lankan food too spicy, the hotel kindly prepared special (and delicious!) meals for us. The buffet offers a wide variety of options. Both the hotel and the grounds are very spacious and although the place was fully booked, it did not feel crowded. I particularly enjoyed using the gym which is well equipped and the big swimming pool. I strongly recommend the place. We were well taken care of and enjoyed our break!

Very well-run large beach hotel

The staff are very friendly and attentive but not overly so. The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean. The pool is a good size and the cocktails we tried were delicious! The buffet had some unusual dishes and the food was tasty albeit a little on the expensive side.

A Pleasant Stay...

We went to Citrus Waskaduwa for our Anniversary, and the stay was a pleasant one. From check-in to check-out, everything was so organized and smooth. Staff were very friendly and always helped us in every possible manner with a smile. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The buffet was fine but not up to expectations, being too costly compared to the selection. The main bar was classy and we had a great time there. However, the pool bar and the pool area was a bit annoying as people were behaving inappropriately, shouting and wearing inappropriate attire. (T-shirts in the pool)

More than expected. After seeing many negative reviews. We had nothing negative to say the hospitality was fabulous. Food was average and rooms were splendid.

Beachfront hotel-reasonable distance from Columbo

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast buffet catered to Asian crowd but plenty else to eat.

Excellent

I was in the hotel for 8 nights & 9 days. Excellent location, beautiful hotel, Nice view and just perfect for a holiday. The staff were very friendly and always smiling and welcoming; greeting me everytime they would see me. Especially Danura was helping me throughout my stay in the hotel starting from the very first day, Breakfast buffet was awesome. The food was excellent - fresh and lots of variety. It is a well-balanced internal first class breakfast and I did enjoy having all variety of typical Sri lankan food which I missed a lot as I live overseas. I should mention Room service as excellent condition as well. If you are looking for a swim, pool is long and wide and well maintained. All the rooms face the ocean and the view is magnificent from the balcony. They have a small table in the balcony too. The rooms are comfortable, big enough for two people and may even be enough for a third one. There is a big TV to lay and watch as well. I asked for Ambulthial Fish to bring back to Sydney , Danura organised that for me even without thinking twice ,and I really admire the way he did it . I will recommend this hotel to whoever wants a nice relaxing holiday in Sri Lanka. I’ll be going there again for sure, I got a very good rate for a 5 star hotel. This time I had gone alone, but next time I’ll be going with my husband and kids! Akila and Ranwala voluntarily asked me whether I need any help. It was nice to see such a great human qualities.

Great Breakfast with a View

Apart from the beautiful view of the sea from our room, breakfast was my favourite part of the stay. The buffet breakfast of the hotel was superb. It was a fabulous start to the day. The hotel was facing the beach and was a great place to be in early in the morning and early in the evening which I enjoyed very much.The air conditioning of the room was a great relief when coming inside from a warm environment. The service staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely would like to go back there.

Comfortable stay

We were in the hotel for 2 nights & 3 days. Excellent location, Close to Colombo.The pool is long and wide and well maintained. the staff was very very friendly and always smiling and obliging. The food was excellent and fresh and lots of variety. Breakfast buffet was awesome. if you are looking for a swim, in the ocean it is rough and not recommended. but still you can take a dip. All the rooms face the ocean and the view is magnificent from the balcony. They could have a small table and one more comfortable chair in the room. but overall the rooms are comfortable. Big TV to relax. I will recommend this hotel to whoever wants a nice relaxing holiday. I won't mind going there again. thanks to expedia, we got a very good rate for a 5 star hotel.

Het is gewoon. Een goede lokatie. En goede kamers. Vriendelijk personeel. Goede keuken. Zwembad. is prima. Om bannen te zwemmen De tuin is groot en netjes en goed onderhoud. Greeting ruth and Sawitrie.

1 Nacht auf der Durchreise...

Hotel hat die besten Tage hinter sich! Leider wird hier kein Wert auf die Instandhaltung der Anlage gelegt. Das Essen im Hauptrestaurant war ok (kleines selbstbedienungs Buffet) aber kein Vergleich zum sonst sehr guten Essen in Sri Lanka. Wir verbrachten eine Nacht dort und waren froh, als wir diesen Ort wieder verlassen durften.

Veldig fint og stort hotell. Passer ganske greit for familie eller par. Hotellet er rett ved stranden eller så kan du bruke bassenget som er stort også. Anbefaler hvis du har tenkt til å slappe av

Over het algemeen een goed hotel de ligging is erg goed wel wat ver van de stad 5 km Mooi goed onderhouden zwembad Het eten is goed zo wel het ontbijt en lunch men is vriendelijk en behulpzaam het internet is wel aan verbetering toe voor al in de kamers is het probleem traag en geen verbinding als het druk is in het hotel Nette tuin

オーシャンビューのホテル

海沿いであったりオープンな環境のため、人によっては虫や汚れを気にする人もいるかと思いますが、ほとんど気にならないレベルかと思います。オーシャンビューが気持ちよく、ホスピタリティも良いホテルです。

Really nice hotel on the Sri Lankan west coast

Great location, wonderful warm pool, freindly and nice staff, good food in the restaurant (both buffe, menu and breakfast) and drinks. Location next to the beach (mostly red flag though) The hotel had a nice spa and a small but ok gym. Nice to use the sun beds in the garden where the breeze cooled you down for a bit. Really recommend it. The will make a total renovation may-oct 2016

ازعاج جداً لوجود صاله حفلات وكل يوم حفله والصوت الى الغرف المطعم يكثر في الذباب والاطلاله جداً تعبانه بعيد جداً عن البحر

På gott och på ont

Staff generally very friendly and the restaurant very good. The hotel's location in a quiet and secluded location makes it difficult communications with other places. The beach has strong waves making it difficult to swim in the sea. The facilities are good but a little sloppy and room cleanliness is not good.It lacks a good organization and offer for tours. The very clean pool and well kept gardens were a nice place to relax and unwind.

Långt borta men väldigt fint

Bra ställe, men låg väldigt avsides! Vi var endast på hotellet, som i sig var mycket bra!!!

객실은 괜찬았고, 아침,저녁이 뷰페인데 종류가 다양하지않고 중국인들을위한 식사메뉴가 많았다.

Nice hotel

The hotel was very nice. The service was helpful, but sometimes slow to answer to requests. The wait staff in the restaurant are excellent! The A/C unit in the room was very loud and not easy to regulate.The hotel is not near any place to walk so you have to rely on a tuck tuck to go into town to explore.

Хороший симпатичный, уютный отель

Плюсы: Приятный, приветливый персонал. Номера с видом на океан. Есть SPA, где можно сделать массаж. Минусы: в дождливый период затапливает номера, есть над чем поработать. Рядом мало инфраструктуры для отдыха. Проблем с трансфером нет, тук-туки есть везде, а если арендовать автомобиль, то и вовсе комфортно.

Aweful Resort

The resort was under construction and staffs were very unkind.The thing is very far from downtown. and even they don't have any car to do sightseeing.
