Worst hotel ever
When booking the room on Expedia website I noted breakfast available at Rp40k. At checking I was told breakfast not Rp40k but Rp400k and was presented a card with this printed on it. On complaint this was not hat Expedia west said the person said "Cannot speak English". I was given key to room but not before forced to leave deposit and agreeing to outrageous charges to clean sheets should they be in anyway soiled. No-one saw me to my room and my key did not work. After several trips back to reception my key was finally fixed. Upon entry to my room I found one of the smallest filthiest rooms i have come across. It was hot so I attempted to turn on the air conditioning, not possible the batteries were dead, so another trip to reception for new batteries. Success the air conditioning erupted into noisy service, but barely cooling service. Many hours later perhaps a few degrees had been knocked off the heat. So having finally entered my room and dealt with the air conditioning I wished for a shower after my travels. I turned the shower on and entered started to soap up when I forced out the shower had become dangerously hot. Turned out the hot tap was hot and so was the cold tap. I was forced to rinse the soap off in the toilet spray. With my eyes clear of soap I noticed the shower drain was blocked and my room in danger of flooding. Later that night I discovered the hall light shone directly on my bed making sleep almost impossible. At 4.00am I had had enough I left the hotel.
