I had an amazing trip. Every single staff member was absolutely fantastic and very helpful :) I will return to another citizen m hotel in the future.

Comfortable and quality stay

I stayed here for a solo trip to Broadway, and the location could not be better for the price. I love the personal touches the room offers regarding lighting and everything being controlled via the iPad, and the pillows/bed were super comfortable. Would absolutely suggest for those seeking a spot in the theater district

Ship shape

Our room was very clean and incredibly efficient. As the person sleeping on the window side, it was a little tricky to get up in the night, so I solved that problem by rearranging the pillows. Mattress was a little too firm for me, but others probably love that.

Very Nice

The rooms are absurdly small. Even after asking they did not clean room. Elevators look like they are about to break any minute. Breakfast is horrendous. Location is central to broadway.

This is officially my new hotel that i will come to. The rooms were modernized and very clean. The hotel staff were nice. Not to mention it was a perfect location for subway and NYC times square.

A nice hotel…

We loved the location, being so close to the theatres. Also it is very Close to the subway. Each and every staff member we dealt with was top notch. Facility was very clean. Only thing we were a little disappointed with was no room service and when you ordered food from the bar there were not take out containers to take the food back to the room. Overall was a great place to stay and would return to.

It’s at a good location

Very modern. Right in the middle of Times Square, so great location Clean modern room with remote for lights, blinds, tv Staff really lovely, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

The beds are against three walls so you can not get on or off either of the sides, only from the front. For me, this was extremely problematic, but other than that everything was great. The staff were supportive, helpful, I would recommend unless your are claustrophobic.

Everything was great but the temp. I lowered the room to 62 and it held at about 80 Way to hot to sleep

Housekeeping was terrible. Was unable to change housekeeping schedule on the iPad and app. Rooms very small. Trash can substantially small when you can’t adjust the housekeeping schedule to come daily.

Great small modern room. It worked perfectly for our trip. Close quarters works for family members. Only complaint was the person sleeping next to the window was cold in the winter. Need an extra blanket

I stayed at citizen M for the first time in Seatle and i loved it since my first stay. This is my first time stay at citizen M in New York and i dont think i would choose another hotel but Citizen M. The front desk are so helpful and friendly. I would give above 5 star if i could.

Go to hotel especially for a show

Citizen M is my go to whenever I’m in NYC! The breakfast is outstanding and the beverages are great! Most of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

It was amazing to walk and shopping

Amazing property. The location couldn't be better. Easy access to multiple subway lines. Short walk from Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Walkable to Central Park as well. Very modern feel. Rooms were tight but clean. Rooftop bar was great as well. Highly recommend.

The staff were some of the most considerate people we had ever met. From the moment we walked in and the day we left. They stored our bags when we arrived early, with no charge ( which is pretty great). The room was clean and very nice. The only downside was the elevator took a while to get to your floor but once you were on it, it went quick.

First Solo Trip

I took my first solo trip to New York to see Romeo and Juliet, as the hotel is across the street from the Theatre this was ideal. I had a wonderful stay, the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for Times Square and Broadway. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and Delicious! I am already looking at booking again for Feb!!

Amazing staff. The demographic of the staff was hipster (I'm a 54 year old male). I am very well travelled and this staff was very well trained and professional. The room was small but great. I wanted to stay there this time next year, but they are already booked for the dates I wanted. I highly recommend this property.

Citizenm hotel Times Square might be the best hotel I have ever booked. The rooms are amazing and comfortable. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. This is the only place I will ever stay. They made our trip perfect and stress free from start to finish! Thanks again Citizenm!

Everyone is super nice and the hotel is very clean. Rooms are extremely small but it has great electric gadgets!

The staff was very accommodating, the only problem was the elevators had long wait times and were broken down for an hour or two. Other than that, I think I've found my favorite hotel franchise. I highly recommend.

The hotel overall was very nice, although the room was a tad to small. The width of the room is the same length as the bed. It was difficult to maneuver our suitcases because of the limited space. Most of the interaction is through AI, but the couple of times there was interaction the staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was spot on, easy access to many tourist locations like restaurants, transportation and theaters. If it wasn't for feeling a little claustrophobic we'd stay here again.

Nice staff

This has been my 4th time in NYC now and CitizenM has been the most wonderful experience yet. CJ and Ben truly made this trip the most special and incredible time. I am beyond thankful for their hospitality and hard work. The hotel is extremely modern and in the most convenient location to visit all of the NYC musts; the service is 5/5 gold stars, I wish I could add another because of the exceptional experience they provided. Truly a brilliant hotel and I cannot recommend it enough.

Nice!

Staff greeted us and were very attentive. The room was clean and the bed was amazing. The view from room was spectacular. Definitely will be recommending for couples. Just keep in mind that the rooms are designed for you to sleep not stay and hang out. Loved it!

Terrible Experience - Poor Service and Maintenance Issues Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Here’s what happened: • Building Issues: On the very first day, maintenance had to visit our room twice due to a building issue. Not a great start. • Water Outage: On the second day, we received a notice saying the water would be off for an hour. It ended up being off for most of the day, completely disrupting our plans. • Housekeeping Neglect: Despite multiple visits to neighboring rooms, our room was skipped for housekeeping during half of our stay. We called to request it, were assured it would be done, but it never happened. • Rude Service: When we asked for new towels, the staff member delivering them literally threw them at us without saying a word. Completely unacceptable. • Room Tech Failure: The room runs entirely off an iPad, but our iPad charger didn’t work. For two days, we repeatedly asked for a replacement and were told it was “on its way,” but it never came. We had to go out and buy our own charger just to use basic room features. This stay was nothing short of a nightmare. Between the poor communication, lack of service, and overall dismissive attitude of the staff, it’s clear this hotel does not prioritize its guests. We won’t be returning and would strongly advise others to avoid it.

Amazing place.

It was our first time staying at this hotel and my husband and I loved it. Next time we return to NY we will definitely stay at this hotel… I only had a small issue regarding cleanliness but they resolved it quickly.

The rooms were extremely small. We didnt have enough space for anything. We had to look out of the window by sitting on the bed doggy style. No space for our luggage etc!

The location was great.

Staff was really sweet. Tv in room did not work and the shower temp wasn’t high enough. Also, blinds were broken.

Our stay at Citizen M was for 8 nights. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and hotel overall. The room was VERY small. Our King bed was pushed up against a window so it required me to climb over my friend if I needed to use the restroom in the middle of the night- no entry to the bed from both sides... something to be aware of! We were so busy exploring NYC so the trip wasn't about spending much time in our room, anyways.

The amenities offered were very limited. No water or coffee in the room and no room service option to have anything brought to the room. Our second night, someone set off the fire alarm and even after it was reset? It kept going off, waking us multiple times.

Beautiful art, unique design, great location. Little small for our week long stay. We’d appreciate a little couch to seat on while watching tv and at least a hot water kettle or little coffee machine.

Great vibe. Modern and practical. Everything in the room is controlled from an IPad. I enjoy that but can see how someone wouldn’t love it. Restaurant offer isn’t great. Ordered a pizza to go and the split it in 8 containers, one per slice . That ruined the whole pizza experience!
