Freezing cold showers. Only one usb outlet. No complimentary toiletires. Small rooms that are very expensive. Food sub par and expensive. Drinks are expensive. Paper thin walls. The hits staff was super nice except one person.

Tiny tiny room with weak AC

The room was literally as wide as the bed. It felt very claustrophobic. The AC would not cool the room off. I checked the temp and at midnight it was 86 degrees. Won’t ever stay there again.

Extremely clean, but I'm not a fan of the teeny tiny room - felt a bit claustrophobic!

Smallest rooms i have ever seen.

This room was so small there wasn't even enough room to put your suitcase down on the floor and open it up without tripping over it

Everything great

I love the property. Great location, great ambiance. Walkable to the state capitol for work but also to great restaurants/bars/shops/and the lake. Only inconvenience as a single woman traveling alone is parking in the garage across the street. The garage is clean and well lit, however I don't like have to be there by myself.

The people were great! The decor was so much fun! And the bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains made it so easy to sleep! Loved your hotel would come back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend it ☺️

Only down side is no parking

It’s quirky type of hotel. Self service check in. The rooms are like pods and you control the whole room with and iPad. It was cool. Very cozy. The breakfast was decent and they have baristas making specialty coffee. It’s right off 6th street. Only problem I had that genuinely angered me was there is no parking. The closest parking garage is on the same block but on the backside of the hotel on congress. It was $33 a night and they do not validate parking. Other than that you can park on the street and that is extremely limited. And probably not safe.

Very modern

Tiny rooms. Was dirty when we arrived but said it had been clean. There was food still in refrigerator. Felt like a match box

This property was so unique and had me at the decor! I thought it brought so much energy- I loved it! The music and the artistic vibe demanded such a creative ambience. I found myself heading downstairs to just chill and ended up working for hours (though on vacay)! Another fave aspect was the day/night blinds. Fantastic!

The rooms were clean and service prompt. The only issue was the bed was too firm and myself and my husband had difficulty getting a good night sleep because of it.

All great if you don't have to iron a shirt

Everything was great but if you have to iron any clothes the process is weird, and it's a hassle.

If this hotel is for business which I know it’s not but u think lots of business they get especially during the work week is business people they should have a coffee machine in the room. That sux. Worst stay I need my coffee that canteen coffee stinks it’s gross taste. IF U R MANDATED TO STAY HERE BEING YOUR OWN COFFEE MACHINE AND COFFEE GROUNDS.

Small rooms

Great place for a single person. Rooms are just around 7 feet wide. Not good for the elderly. Rooms are clean but just very small.

We didnt realize how tiny and compact the rooms are. Very clean, but too small for us.

Very difficult if booking for an older person. No parking at hotel. Have to check in automated and all room features are operated through an iPad. Room is very small so if you are taller person, this hotel is definitely not for you!

Don’t stay here unless you like back pain

The primary reason to book a hotel is to have a place to sleep for the night. CitizenM fail miserably at this task. The bed is so uncomfortable that my husband barely got a wink of sleep because we were so uncomfortable and our backs were in pain for our entire trip.

I've never been to a hotel quite like this one. very unique decor and not everyone's cup of tea, but I loved it. Rooms felt very futuristic and highly space optimized. Reminded me of a mix of the apt from the movie Fifth element and Japanese design. The automatic blackout blinds was the cherry on top, so dark, so nice!!

Really friendly staff, super happy with the cleanliness and the room itself. Really easy booking to manage through Expedia as well. 5/5 great experience, would definitely recommend staying here

Convenient ...

Convenient location to convention center and dining. Room was clean and the lobby area was great. Breakfast service and evening coffee and drinks to wind down were great as well.

I think it's a unique concept of a stay, however it's unclear up to the point you swipe your room key. Basic Hotel needs are unavailable. Your forced to spend unplanned funds to get by. Left feeling duped.

Very unique style, loved how the decor was amazing from the lobby outlook as well as the room.

We were in a pinch for a hotel and this popped up on Expedia. The price was reasonable and we were being adventurous. We walked into a do it yourself checkin thankfully there was a staff member to assist. The lobby was very eclectic- lots of color and Knick knacks to look at. Nice lounge with a tv or a place to do business. The room was a bit of a shock- it was the size of an “Airstream” RV as my husband put it. Very narrow and very small footprint. No hairdryer or iron/board. Very trendy, techy, and overall functional though. For some the frosted glass might not be enough to separate the lavatory from the rest of the room. The stuffed doll on the bed raised some eyebrows.

I love how tech saavy everything is at this hotel! The rooms are cute and cozy as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Great atmosphere

Not my thing. Nice but too small.

Wasn’t my cup-of-tea. The room was box-sized just wide enough for the length of a king bed. Toilet and shower combined into a nice wet-bath. No coffee maker or complimentary water and the comfort and tv settings were on an ipad that I didn’t use. The pics certainly didn’t feature a good idea of the room size. I’m sure anyone under 35 would find that it slays.

Did not like the fact that they advertise valet and there is none.

Perfect location for public transport to and from airport and around the city and to SoCo - one way $1.25 & $2.50 for a day ticket - what a bargain !!. A short walk from The Capitol, the Murals....a must see Plenty of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, even Alfreds is here tho their coffee is not a patch on the LA outlets - for essentials Seven 11 and Walgreens just around the corner though Trader Joes and Whole Foods are too far. The Driskell is recommended for breakfast

I love the unique design and style. The room is primarily controlled by an iPad. Features such as lighting, window shades and TV are on the iPad. The bar is amazing. Food is delicious and fresh. Overall, considering the price, this room is an A .

CitizenM is a cool property with a distinctly European feel. Easy check in and check out. Nice safety features. Rooms are not made for spreading out, but have everything you need in a compact space. There are nice dining and entertainment options at a very walkable distance. Overall highly recommend and would stay again.

Excellent location, easily walkable to anywhere you want to be. The hotel is quite new and very well looked after and exceptionally clean. Rooms are small, but you get comfortable beds, great rates and convenient facilities in exchange.

I loved this place and all the tech my stay was cheap and usually I feel like for something like that I would be paying more than what I paid. Will definitely go back

Hotel was amazing and very contemporary.

The property was very clean and very Austin styled. Had difficulty using the app to check in and the check in process could have been smoother.

At first sight the hotel rooms seem small however they are very comfortable and the technology is incredible, the modern aesthetic is fun. The small room packs a big punch and is perfect for a single traveler or a couple. More than two people is too much for this room.

Super clean & Compact for Efficiency

Super clean! Small room was perfectly laid out with storage cubbies so everything was convenient and organized. I was less stressed over where all my things were in a smaller area than average hotel. The cleanliness of the room made a big difference.

The art and aesthetic of the hotel very new age, millennial. No coffee in the room available. My cruise room was bigger than what we stayed in. That is what the room set up is like. Most of the staff is courtesy.

Very good with reasonable price

Very artistic and European atmosphere, perfect location, walkable, no need to use cars. The parking app was very helpful to find a parking just 2 blocks away which charged us only $12 for two days, but no in/out option. The hotel was affordable at this time. Rooms are tiny, may be comfortable just for one person, but very clean. I love the hard mattress. Breakfast was not fresh with fruit. Water refill dispenser was a great idea.

Amazing property

This was a really cool and very contemporary hotel. I found the area to be safe. And great restaurants all around. It was really cool that I got to pick my own view. And check in and check out was so easy. I only stayed for one night but I would definitely come back and stay longer. It was all around a really awesome hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Very loud

Very clean and up to date. It was very loud. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. We were on the 15th floor and you could hear everything outside. Sleep was hard to get because of the noise.
