Great location and great view, but hotel appears to be focused only on throughput, and did not honour advertised conditions on the booking site.

The property was in a fantastic location, directly across from the beach with free beach chairs and umbrellas to hotel guests (limited). Hotel was in walking distance to bars and restaurants. Very polite staff, fantastic facilities.

A great hotel & staff with a perfect location on the beach. Could ask for more with our great view from the 8th floor balcony. Great for the price! Highly recommend.

This property was nice but we were charged 100,000 VND for getting juice on a face cloth. Could have came out with washing. We were told that they tried to clean it and couldn’t which is why were charged, but this was false as the towel never left our room.

Rooms were lovely and clean and a good size. Staff were friendly. Hotel ideally situated. Breakfasts were good.

Nice hotel

Nice location, the hotel is fine, across the water and near all the main attractions.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Fantastic ocean front room with balcony. Buffet breakfast was the same each day but was huge with loads of variety. Location is opposite the beach and right in the heart of the action.

We had an amazing stay, great location, modern clean room. The breakfast was actually buffet not continental as listed. And it did not disappointment. Highly recommend and be sure to try out the seafoad buffet in the restaurant on level 2.

Love the shower!!!

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I got the ocean view suite and it's really nice sitting out on the balcony. The shower was my favorite part of the room. There was also a safe for you to store important info and a mini fridge. I wish there was also a microwave. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was a bit overpriced. The free breakfast buffet that was included with our stay was decent. We only went once out of the three days. The location of this hotel was within walking distant to a lot of eatery and the night market (not worth going). The beach access is right across the street. There were chairs and umbrellas for guests to use. Keep in mind that you will hear traffic and music and people screaming because the hotel is right near a busy street. The only minor issue I had was the check out process. I had to wait for someone to check the room to ensure everything is still intact before I could leave. It's inconvenient and hopefully management will come up with a better process to make check out faster and smoother.

Great location, amazing sunrise view

This hotel is a good location, amazing views and incredible sunrise. Easy walking distance to all the good restaurants and bars. Local to the night market. Hotel room is very clean and the bed was very comfortable and bonus the elevators were quick.

Great hotel. 3rd time staying this year

Nhi le Tan (reception), David (bell assistance) & all staff were extremely friendly & happy to help & serve us during our stay. We were welcomed & greeted with such great hospitality and warmth at Citadines beachfront hotel.Their service were outstanding and top notch. If you don't stay here while you're visiting Nha Trang, you're definitely missing out. Breakfast buffet was excellent full of great dishes from Vietnam, they even bake their own pastries & bread. We will definitely be back next year! Thank you, Citadine staff for your hard work & commitment for making our vacation a memorable one!

Not worth it. Views only good from high rooms.

Gorgeous Hotel from the outside. I was on lowest room level 4 and had no view. Wifi never worked and staff wouldn’t give password. Construction in hotel right next to my room. So no wifi, no view, no room service. No room compendium so you never know what’s open and when. This was supposed to be my one luxury for my big trip and entire experience was so underwhelming. The positive is they use the new designed Daikin AC and works like a charm. The construction inside the hotel is defeating loud and blocks the emergency exit on level 4.

Good hotel but Nah Trang is not the best

Really good hotel with nice big rooms, a large balcony and right by the beach. Swimming pool is nice and big also. The hotel was nice but Nha Trang was not best.

What a million dollars view we had! The room is not very spacious but obviously because we were cheap, but the view from the BALCONY was amazing.We were so glad that we chose this hotel. Breakfasts were fancy and scrumptious. I would recommend this place to all my friends or family members. Front Desk staffs were very attentive and polite. I would rate this is a six stars hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for paraside in Nha Trang. The staff is so kind and caring. The breakfast buffet is tasty with a good selection of food, even for my young kids. The pool is beautiful. The beach and loungers are a nice touch but the water infront of the hotel was a little too rough for swimming. Conveniently located near reataurants and shops. Totally exceeded my expectations.

Amazing hotel!

Amazing rooms with breathtaking views, very comfortable. The breakfast is quite repetitive after a while - always the same fruit, meats and dishes - and people working at reception should communicate better, especially when an outside food order is delivered for you in the lobby.

Great hotel in the heart of Nha Trang! Had a beachfront efficiency with a small kitchenette, well appointed bath, comfy bed, and cleaned daily. If you want to get a beach umbrella, get there before 9am, otherwise they only have a dozen free umbrellas for guests. Breakfast is good, lots of great eateries nearby, tours are expensive. Watched the fireworks on the beach from our balcony on the Lunar New Year!

There’s shower room near swimming pool on 3rd floor for early & late flight. Hotel crews are nice and warm-hearted. They try so hard to be helpful to customers but there are many misunderstandings due to a lack of English skill. It’s very convenient to get to the tourist attractions and you can find many restaurants & spa in walking distance. Oh, you’re able to enjoy breakfast either on the first floor or on the 27th floor with amazing view. It’s very comfort staying in Nha Trang and I’d love to stay here again.

Noisy, Noisy, Noisy

My wife and I stayed here for three nights and our experience was only ok. We checked in on Christmas Eve and found out there was a party at the hotel restaurant that carried on until 2:30am. As we had an ocean facing room, we were kept up by the noise. The next night was better, but a local exercise on the beach at 5am woke us up bright and early. Otherwise, the hotel is just ok. The facilities and room are dated, the breakfast is decent and the best quality is the private beach area. However, the beach is across a major road and you have to play frogger to get there. This is true regardless of where you stay. The hotel is close to many restaurants as well. If you are a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend this hotel not any that are beach front.

We smell the smoke in the room during the night time.

The downward spiral of Nha Trang

This hotel would be lucky to rate even 3 stars in most countries. They are symptomatic of a race to the bottom, with mass tourism in Nha Trang. There is no pampering lifestyle here. Clientele appears to be Russian and mainland Chinese and the problems arising with unsophisticated travellers is manifest in the way that the hotel treats all guests as the lowest common denominator. Scenes at the buffet breakfast set the tone of the place as an annex of Hades with budget-challenged guest shovelling bakery items, cold meats and the like into handbags for a later free lunch. Greed at the tables is a sight you would not wish to repeat in a hurry. In the room, no mini bar, no room service, no drinks available for order, stained upholstery and in the adjoining room at least 4 guests in a twin partying until dawn. Staff are pleasant (because that is the Viet way) but generally clueless, except when inspecting breakfast vouchers ( this is supposed to be 5 star remember?). Soviet hostels have nothing on this. For any other advice on ANY topic, better you consult Google. In the bathroom the usual notice about caring for the environment by re-using your rather thin towel. The message completely de-bunked by acres of single use plastics wrapped in single use plastic outer shell. Your stay here should contribute to the death of at least a single sea turtle.

Location no so great , manager at front counter kept talking I’ve and arguing with me . I’m not sure why he was a manager. Also I got to the property early and asked if there was a room available for early check in in return they wanted $1500000 Vnd equivellant to $94 Aud to check in early . This was more than the cost of one night. Rather than accomodating the customer . I was a first time I stayed here and it will be the last definitely. Front house and management definitely could look at other hotels like citidines and learn where they are going wrong . Overall it made my stay here feel not comfortable

I saw this hotel in hotel . Com and it rate 5 stars . But it’s not 5 stars , I don’t think so with all the utilities so old. The breakfast is OK. Nothing special. I think just 3.5 or 4 stars is the most

even if this property is being ranked as 5 stars, it is not even 4 stars, by taking into consideration the terrible breakfast, which was very poor, everyday the same stuff and mosquitos are always flying over food and people. Night time, the same place used for dinner and bar, and it is terribly noisy with a band using big baffles with the highest volume ever in a closed area. you can never resist sitting over for more than 5 mn.

Very clean modern hotel with excellent staff, everyone we had contact with were accommodating and a pleasure to deal with and they always had a smile. The room was very spacious with the perfect amount of storage for a holiday stay. Bathroom was again perfectly set out with loads of storage. Our room over looked Nha trang bay and it was stunning waking each morning to see the beach was great.

Loved Citadines hotel - it was clean, modern, room was large, bathroom was lovely. Staff were all very friendly. Beach chairs and towels were available. Breakfast was lovely. We had nothing to complain about and we are thinking about going back next year and having 2 week in Citadines.

Great facilities and outstanding service. Breakfast buffet was ok but the in room dining options were extremely limited. Ocean view was beautiful but the street can be loud at night, especially at the lower levels. Would book again, the location is outstanding.

Better choices

This is my second stay at this a Hotel, the first one last October. On my last stay service was outstanding, this stay non existent. Not a Hello or Goodbye, not a smile. It’s like night and day, the difference went from great to poor. The hotel itself is in a great location across the street from the beach; they have a beautiful outdoor pool on level 3, but no service at the pool, get your towel out of a cart. Want a drink, track someone down eventually.

The hotel itself has no problem. Good location, clean, tidy, quite new, but there is only one restaurant and the food there is not that good. The breakfast is not that good, so I decide not to go for a dinner for sure. All above are minor. The most I don't like is when I asked for a taxi to the airport, they told me there is no taxi available (but I went onto the street to get one easily, on every days of stays!). They often me a private car. I said I don't want private car. They said this private car is from the hotel and it's okay. However, when the car and driver came to pick us up, he is taking slipping shoes to drive a car. He has full of tattoo on his arms. He is either taking or texting on the phone not stopped during the whole journey. I am sure this was not a car from the hotel because I was picked up by the hotel on arrival and that driver was professional and very good. I know it won't be any problem going to the airport, and just the bell boy wants some extra income/commission from the driver. I can understand this in a country like Vietnam, but honestly I don't feel comfortable. I don't blame the bell boy but this is a problem of the hotel management to allow this from happening. So far, Nha Trang gave me a good impression until the last trip to the airport, it destroyed everything unfortunately. Anyway, we have a good stay in the hotel, but I will certain try another one if I have a chance to visit another.

Pretty much perfect

Lovely stay - the room is beautiful with thoughtful touches, tons of closet space and an amazing bathroom. Only minor thing is that the pool is cold and you can hear all of the busy street traffic. However, this makes it less crowded for when you want to take a dip.

The Best in Nha Trang

I believe this hotel is the best in Nha Trang. I stayed in an Ocean View One-Bedroom Apartment in the New Year's Holiday. As same as the other Ascott Group's apartments, the unit is spacious, clean, modern and well equipped. Although the weather was not as good as Nha Trang usually has, the ocean view was still stunning. The apartment is in a perfect location where closes to beach, cafes, convenience stores, spas, supermarkets and restaurants. I am highly satisfied with my stay.

Great location, right at the city centre with the beach just across the street. Very friendly staff as well...the pool is great and for those who loves a morning workout - the gym offers free yoga lesson and the teacher, Daniel is really good at teaching! The hotel should let the guest know about this as I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t gone to the gym and got told. The breakfast is not bad, but a bit too basic for hotel at such good quality, can use a little bit of improvement and offer more international food. But great hotel overall and would definitely recommend

Nha Trang Quick Discovery Trip

The location was excellent being it was right in the middle of a tourist district and across from the public beach. The general areas of the hotel itself was very nice and well maintained. The room we had was nicely laid out, well furnished and tastefully decorated. The service by the staff is as expected of a 4 star hotel. The downside is that had it not been for the intervention by the Manager and his staff at the hotel, I would have been given a non-smoking room which I had specifically requested for. Although the hotel is a non-smoking hotel, smoking is permitted on the balcony and the room that I had been originally assigned to, had no balcony. Having said the above, my most major complain is the breakfast. Breakfast is an optional item. One has to pay additional sums of money to get breakfast included. The breakfast was horrible and was definitely unbecoming of a 4 star hotel. Needless to say, we went for breakfast only on the 1st day.

Give it a miss

In a Vietnam context, waste of money at an establishment with a low service ethic. Room is so, so, mini bar empty. If you ain't booked for breakfast you will not get in even if willing to pay. you get sent from pillar to post and we gave up between 27 floors of misdirection. The apogee of disinterest manifest in the refusal to arrange airport transfer. Other business hotels I use In Nha Trang offer excellent fixed rated at short notice. These indifferent civil servant types, suggest I call a taxi at twice the price and that is the most they are willing to extend themselves.

Booked executive suite but there was no breakfast with it. Only 2 towels for 2 people when asking for fresh towels they demanded the old towels for exchange. This was the worse experience. I would never stay at this hotel again.

The staff at this hotel are absolutely fantastic. I only have the very best things to say about them. Be back to Nha Trang in a few days and I'll be sure to stay at the Citadines.

Top Notch and Great Value

Incredible service, value, location, and room. It was my first time to Vietnam and I was blown away but the incredible stay.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, a balcony with 2 armchairs overlooks the beach with great views both day and night. Bathrooms are large and bright. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast can be very busy and noisy with the large number of tourists on coaches but the staff do their best to replenish the food and find seating for individual travellers. This Hotel is well situated on the waterfront and is handy to restaurants and many shops

Great Hotel, very modern, room is not to big but nicely decorated. We had a room with a balcony and ocean view. Breakfast was included, but it was a little bit chaotic, too many people and not enough employees working there. Location is greta lots of shoppings and restaurants around
