Staff was welcoming and attentive. The area around it wasn't the most beautiful but close to beaches and restaurants nice for something not to expensive.

I stayed at the Ciqala for 5 days it was a good hotel I had a suite room it was super spacious, the staff was great very helpful! The only thing i did not like was that there was only 1 elevator for all the guest to use which caused it to run extremely slow at times.

The property is beautiful; the rooms are spacious and pretty. The rooftop is beautiful, but the restaurant is a bit pricey for the options around. It was odd that some employees did not speak Spanish. But these are minimal issues. I would recommend it.

The customer service is unmatched. Everyone was very helpful.

Our room was clean and the breakfast was very good. There were no sheets or blankets that we could find for the sofa bed.

The property was clean, however, the service was subpar at best. Breakfast was horrible (which was included) we are still waiting on the coffee… For this being a 4 star property I feel like the amenities were lacking.

Great hotel! The only thing I would improve or change is the bed and pillows. The mattress was too soft, the pillows too firm and the mattress on the sofa bed was way too thin. Good tging we were there for just one night.

Ofrecen desayuno incluido con estadia pero nunca llega. Lo ordenamos segun la instruccion que nos indicaron pero nunca llego. Bajamos a preguntar por que tampoco el telefono de la habitación funciona para comunicarse a front desk, nos indican que lo tenian para otra hora y pues esperamos. A la hora que nos dijeron tampoco llego. Hicimos check out nunca recibimos el desayunos “incluido”

Great rooftop views. Staff was super friendly. 24/7 mini mart next door has some sketchy characters around…

The included room service breakfast was excellent. There was a mistake one day but the staff took care of it efficiently. The pool was a weird since it was in the middle of the restaurant, but the view from it was great. One concern was that we checked out at 3 AM but there was no one at the front desk and the doors were open for anyone to come in.

The hotel is located in a resident neighborhood. So far it is quiet and convenience to highway. Staffs are nice and room service breakfast is good. Room is big enough and clean, however there is no pictures or any decorations on the wall and the wall color is in dark grey (so plain) . Windows is high and some view is blocked by the headboard of the bed. All these made me feel blue.

I had the same room as before The toilet was still faulty after I reported the problem twice.

It was an extremely disappointing experience. The hotel needs serious upgrading. The executive suite/penthouse room was impersonal, cold atmosphere and sparce. The upstairs fooftop bar had excellent food and great service but the facility is in an extremely disgraceful state needing immediate and imminent repairs! The pool tiles need descaling, the stainless steel needs cleaning and polishing, the deck is dangerously in need of repair. I would never recommend this hotel or stay there again. I believe the owner is looking at opening another???? 🙄

Great Rooftop Bar and Lounge

The rooftop bar and lounge was the best experience at the hotel. I enjoyed each meal and beverage I had and the staff was great. I was disappointed that there were no lounge chairs on the rooftop near the very small pool. The complimentary breakfast was good also. I liked the options and that the food was delivered to the room during the time selected. My room was at the end of the hall next to the ice machine and service closet, so the room was noisy at times.

I love everything about it the location, the restaurant on the rooftop and the stuff were amazing

I liked the location, my room was super clean and comfortable, the parking it’s free, and the breakfast is good. Didn’t like the pool, is small and uncomfortable. But besides that was a good experience.

This property is not what the pictures look like. The hotel is not a 4 star hotel at all. Nor is it luxury. It’s more like a motel. The only thing that is nice is the view from their rooftop. The pool is the size of a bathtub in the middle of high top chair/table dinner. Their rooms are small and old. There’s cracks and mold that indicate the hotel need work on. They always have workers and people hanging outside where the entrance is. And they make it seem like an inconvenient for them to move out the way so you can park the car. The parking garage is only one door to go in and out. And it’s so narrow that if you’re not careful you’ll take your car mirror off. Save your self some money and book anywhere but here. Also not much around that area where you can walk or feel safe walking at night. Also ladies if you use their towels, please remove all make up with wipes first before using their towels. They charge you for make up stains or any dirt stain on their towels. Garbage hotel.

I gifted this hotel to newlywed couple and they loved absolutely every detail and treatment.

I love everything!! The staff was super helpful and friendly. The only thing was that during my stay the TV connection was not properly working, they did send someone to fix it once I called but not even an hour later the TV connection went out again. I didn’t want to bother them again with the same thing, but I’m sure they would have sent someone out again to fix it.

This was my second time staying here and i will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel. The food 10/10 the area so close to a lot of things, including the 24hr convenience store right on the side. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful at all times! I really enjoyed my stay! Thank you and please keep up the great work!

Stayed here with family (two kids). Prior to arrival I was a bit sceptical of, I had made the right choice. However this is the perfect place. Clean, very friendly staff, microwave kitchen etc. and away from the bustling "tourist" zone, but still close. The parking is a definite plus and the convenience store next door. Would definitely stay here again ...

The staff were wonderful, very serviceable, kind, and polite. I just didn’t like the property and its location. The tiny pool (appeared to be as large as a king size bed) in the middle of the restaurant on the roof was a HUGE disappointment.

The staff was amazing but the area surrounding the hotel was horrible. The pool was no use because of all the traffic that the rooftop lounge receives. The rooftop lounge was very expensive three drinks was $68. Room Service breakfast was definitely a plus.

Had to book this super last minute as the air b n b i booked didn’t work out. staff was super accommodating and friendly. the food is amazing, pretty pricey, but not more than any other hotel. pina coladas are yummy. the shower only stayed hot for about 5 minutes but i was only here for 2 nights so i didn’t care. pool is not great for swimming but awesome to take pictures at, especially at night. overall, the area is super safe even at night and the room was spacious and cool.

It was ok. Not to safe due to the next door liquor store and those who hang out. Valet parking shouldn’t use the limited parking on this parking. It impacts those who books this hotel and leaves us with no parking. The noise due to so much traffic for the rooftop for those who do not book with this hotel is ridiculous. We had no television for the first four days. They should due a walk through and make sure everything works. Our cable boxes were never activated. Lots of minor issues that could make it better for those who go out there way to book with this hotel.

Great experience

I only stayed for a night but really happy I decided to choose this hotel. I wouldn’t have given it a chance but my flight along with so many others have been cancelled and I was stuck. The larger hotel names like Hilton were all sold out. This room was on the affordable size and I was very surprised how pleasant my stay was. The staff was UNBELIEVABLE. In a positive way! Edgardo was the epitome of hospitality. Felt like he happily went out of his way to help. They were all very down to earth yet professional and knowledgeable. The room itself was pleasant. Although a bit run down, I would definitely stay there again. Still nice to have comfortable king size bed with comfortable sheets and pillows. There was also a kitchenette and a stocked fridge with some drinks and snacks. Beers were only $3. The bath was a little dated but other than that everything else made my very stressful day much better. Will return if I’m ever in San Juan.

Hotel is nasty, rooms are moldy but of course you can’t see it with the dark paint because of the moist, balcony is so nasty old dirty and scary, nothing luxurious not for families, restaurant takes for ever to make the food and bar takes decades to make drinks, pool is supper small restaurant needs reservation even though we staying there, breakfast came with missing lots of items we requested on top of that I asked for a few minutes late check out to get the Uber someone said let me check with my supervisor and get back to you he called back saying we honoring an hour and after I checked out they charged $25 for the few minutes to the $200 deposit that was charged for only one night I spoke to the supervisor and he was too rude to refund me so I’ll dispute it with the bank.

I had a great experience here. Once we arrived, I was told that my room with the balcony was being renovated and I was upgraded to another room. The rooms were very clean and staff are friendly. The rooftop was beautiful and the food and drinks were amazing. Thank you to all the staff who assisted in making my stay so special.

The deposit is to high. Is not sound proof. We can sleep because two things. They don't rotate the bed and have the same form from other guest. The room above they cleaned or repaired 11pm to 1am and continue 6 am. Next day.

The staff here is incredible and made all the difference in how we enjoyed San Juan. I also was not expecting to have a balcony which had a nice view. Lastly, the rooftop restaurant Éter and their breakfast was also good!

The manager, Mr. Miguel, demonstrated exceptional customer service when he discovered that we did not receive an upgrade upon check-in. He promptly sent me an email offering us a room with a great view and impressive amenities at no additional charge. This gesture ensures my return business, and I trust that he will recall our interaction positively.

The customer service was one of best I ever received in a hotel in Puerto Rico. Our room had a small cleaning situation that was immediately corrected by the hotel staff. The courtesy of the staff was of the highest level. I must definitely, stay in this hotel againg.

Our stay was good not great. Hotel was clean could use a little upgrades. Pool was a joke! If you are looking for swimming & lounging near the pool this is definitely NOT the place. It was located on the roof top in the middle of the restaurant area. Did not feel comfortable swimming while people are dinning plus they don't have an lounge chairs. Very strange setup. Restaurants was nice with AMAZING views. Food was good but on the pricey side with not too many options.

Great staff. Melendez was the front desk host and was very accommodating. My first room did not have adequate work space as I was there for business and he quickly helped me identify a room that work. The staff kept the room clean daily and the shower was great. Also a great restaurant and rooftop pool. Overall great stay. Thank you!

For the price this hotel gives you the value with added benefits. The parking is very safe and convenient and free. The breakfast is brought to your room and it’s good also included as added value . So past reviews are sorta correct , but they have made improvements and are very good with responding to help if you have an issue with anything. The pool is small but it is very unique and has a zero edge with a great view of the city. The food and drinks on the roof too were great . The staff is at this hotel are very kind and helpful.

Lovely hotel. Our flight home was canceled and we were able to quickly book a stay for our family of five for one night. The Presidential suite was spacious and had a washer dryer in the unit! We didn’t make use of the hotel amenities but they looked promising. Nice location- walking distance to several restaurants.

Pool wasnt available when we arrove, front desk didnt even know, after that the availability for the pool was very limited because the restaurant. There was strong noises in my room ph 805, coming from the kitchen, since 5am to 12 am, staff didn't care about my complaint and offer another room. First 2 days maid service didn't happen,we have to asked for it and requested new towels, floor was sticky all 5 days we stayed.

A very convenient location, clean, with large rooms, and very friendly staff. Breakfast is only available by room service or to go. The breakfast is very good. Think iHop good!
