Good stay in Bangtao beach

Great stay at Chivatara resort with family of 4 (two young kids). Super friendly staff, loved children :) Room was spacious, ground floor stay good with young children. Restaurant was located in the middle of the hotel, under a canopy. Good breakfast, egg-station included. Hotel has 3 children's pools, but depth was 60cm, so not the most suited for babies. (Perfect for a bit older kids) Otherwise good pool area, even very deep pool in the middle. Small kids play area outside in the garden, nice kids play room inside as well (but air con was temporarily broken) with various toys. Small gym as well, with good air con. Located on a busy street with shops, restaurants and bars. Bangtao area quite busy traffic with taxis (when going in and out of the area), easy access - but not the calmest area (if that is what you are looking for). Local night market quite close by. Short walk to the beach - great beach places with many restaurants offering beach chairs and children's toys and even a swing!

All staffs were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out, both went smooth and with high efficiency. Our bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but nice; and, the restaurant was relaxing with wonderful pool side view.

Great location just a street away from the beach. Pool was great, food was great. 7/11 around the corner with a bunch of shops, restaurants, massage and taxi places. Would stay again. Loved it.

EXCELLENT STAFF.

Great little hotel hidden away just behind Bang Tao beach. 4-5 minutes to the beach and restaurants and small bars dotted around just outside the hotel. Rooms are a good standard, grounds and pool are very nice. Friendly staff. Breakfast just ok but all in all we had a great 7 days there.

Stora och fräscha rum. Trevlig pool. 5min till stranden. Tyvärr var wi-fi mkt dålig, fast personalen bytte utrustningen. För att få kontakt var man tvungen att gå till receptionen. På rummen fungerade det bara periodvis. Frukosten var enkel. Är man bara ute efter stora trevliga rum är detta ett bra ställe, men behöver man ett starkt,snabbt och säkert wi-fi så får man leta efter något annat hotell.

Good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location that good for families with kids.

The staff speaks NO ENGLISH. Their food is inedible. and one air conditioning was broken in the workout room. The manager was completely inflexible to accommodate little needs to satisfy the clients. they also have a nightclub there so forget about good night sleep. Boom boom boom wall shaking every night and drunk people yelling and screaming and singing. Everything was awful.

Average

The hotel has good facilities and a nice pool. The cleaners didn’t seem to do much other than make the bed. The toilet was starting to smell a bit after our four days. The beds were hard and not very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a street with many ladies of the night which may put some people off. Nightlife in terms of bars and atmosphere is surprisingly poor. I think the many Russians in the area stay in their hotels. The beach was lovely. Best part of it.

Close to the beach, nice pool

Hotel is close to the beach, restaurants and places of necessities. Most of the staff is friendly, though their English language and knowledge of the area (like good restaurants, touristic places), could be better. Breakfast is adequate. Best thing is the pool. Wi-Fi connection is bad. Housekeeping is the biggest disappointment. They dont wash the cups/utensils. Bedsheets and towels have a lot of stains. They dont bother to remove the water that accumulated in the balcony, so it's not that pleasant to sit out. The layout of the bathroom itself is not ideal as the water from the shower goes to the areas of sink and toilet, making the whole bathroom damp and slippery.

Pleasant Stay

Good location

The rooms are comfortable but the air conditioning is put in a dangerous spot over a doorway and as it leaked water overnight, I had a terrible fall when walking to the toilet in the dark unaware of the leak. A matt needs to be secured on the floor. Apart from that the pool is nice and there were nice restaurants nearby.

Value for money

The location of the hotel is rather secluded and it was noisy in the evenings due to loud music coming from nearby bars. Once the room door was closed the noise level was a lot less audible though. The sheets weren't as cleaned as we'd expect them to be and the air condition wasn't working in the first room we were booked into - the hotel staff moved us to another available room and the aircon worked. It's a nice place but the cleanliness can certainly be improved.

New Unfinished Hotel

Holiday started badly, with difficulty finding Hotel. Whilst only about 300 metres from the Beach, this potentially lovely resort is in a side street, surrounded by Bars. On eventual arrival the reception welcome was warm and friendly. The Rooms are lovely, the Pool large, and quite gorgeous. The Breakfast was excellent, and very freshly cooked.. BUT despite Expedia, with gross misrepresentation, mentioned that only 4 Rooms were available, only 4 were actually occupied. The Hotel was eerily empty , few staff,and two sets of rooms still unfinished. In a few months it will be an excellent place to stay, if you can find it.

Very dangerous to walk to the beach with kids, to many cars and bikes at the street, no sidewalks. Need people to serve at the restaurant, few costumers and the service is poor. The pool bar is closed, you need to walk 5 min to the beach .

Ok but no more than that

Beskrivelsen af hotellet er misvisende, i forhold til at være et 4 stjernet luksus hotel. Det er det på ingen måder. Der er som sådan ikke nogle specifikke kritikpunkter. Alt på hotellet er bare kun middelmådigt. Morgenmaden er middelmådig og servicen fra personalet lever på ingen måde op til det vi ellers har oplevet i Thailand. Poolområdet var rigtig fint. Dog spillede der høj musik til ud på aftenen, selvom bar området var tomt 90 % af tiden. Hotellet ligger på en gade med barer og “massage klinikker”, så ikke det mest charmerende. Men man kan dog gå til stranden på 5 min. Til sidst er 95 % af gæsterne på hotellet russere.

Notre chambre était au rez-de-chaussée odeurs de moisissure très présente je suis dans le bâtiment et croyez moi que l'odeur m'a brûlé les poumons. Changement de chambre encore rez-de-chaussée odeur toujours présente mais moins. Chambre pas contractuelle aux photos elles sont d'unes obscuritées. La clim fait un bruit d'enfer, la salle de bain en 15 jours jamais un coup d’eponge passé. Petit dejeuner tout est froid le café c'est de l'eau sale, les fruits c'est au compte goutte, il y en n'a pas souvent, l'assiette à disposition est si petite pour le nombre de personnes. La piscine très belle mais le chlore mon dieu on n'y perds la peau et la couleurs du maillot de bain.

Ganska tråkigt område o en liten promenad till stranden. Trevlig personal men otroligt dåliga på engelska . Helt ok frukost.

Sehr gutes Hotel für den Preis

Das Hotel war cut es waren nur 2 Sachen nicht so gut. Es gab leider bei den oberen Himmer keine Möbel auf dem Balkon. Dan war das gefälle der Dusche in die Falsche richtung und das Bad stand immer komplett unter Wasser. Sonst ein sehr gutes Hotel. Würde das Hotel nochmals Besuchen

Très bien mais…

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Hôtel calme situé à 5min à pied de la plage et ses restaurants bien sympathique le soir. La piscine est grande et très agréable. Seul inconvénient dans cet hôtel, le personnel ne parle pas du tout l’anglais et ne le comprends pas. Les petits déjeuners sont corrects. Je le recommande

Bra fräscha rum, sköna sängar. Bra läge i Bangtao Beach nära stranden och lite shopping. Frukosten var ok, dock fick man säga till ganska ofta om saker som fattades, tex glas, kaffekoppar, smör osv. Mest ryssar på hotellet.

有泳池適合一家大小，不錯，服務員態度良好，主動介紹。環境清悠寧靜，但沒有每天的客房服務清理房間有點失望。

Prisvärt boende

Prisvärt boende med kort promenad från havet & många restauranger. Poolen var stor & fin. Trevlig personal & helt okej frukost. Lite slitet med rent. Bra gym på hotellet med löpband & hantlar.

3stjärnigt??

Uppfyller inte ett 4stjärnigt hotells standard! Plus för jättetrevlig personal, fint poolområde, nära stranden, bekväm stor säng och rymligt rum. Minus för badrum med stora rostfäckar på toalettstol, illaluktande, ofräsch duschränna och inte 4stjärnig standard. Frukost likaså, ofräsch salladshörne, dålig kvalité på det som erbjöds överlag och den enda form av ägg som kunde åstadkommas (även efter förfrågan) var kokta ägg. Katastrofalt kaffe (blaskigt färgat vatten)! Bokhörnan hade ett konstigt lånesystem, så det gick inte att byta ut sin utlästa bok. Spenderade helgen i området men valde att inte förlänga min natt där utan bokade nästa natt på annat ställe. Hade varit helt okej som 3stjärnigt

Superfint rum, pool och miljö. Fanns ett fint litet gym (som jag inte använde 😜). Ca 5min promenad till stranden. Trist frukost och halvkasst wifi

Varning

Receptionspersonal som ej talade någon engelska vid incheckning. När vi beställde lunch så beklagade sig servitören för oss hur mkt han var tvungen att jobba och att det var så jobbigt för honom. När vi väl fick lunchen så hade han glömt en maträtt och tagit fel på en annan. Samtliga frukostmaträtter som tex bacon pannkakor mm, serverades kalla. Hotellet ligger granne med diverse krogar som helt uppenbart bedriver prostitution, inget familjevänligt område! Det enda som va bra med hotellet var deras sängar!

Badet bør renoveres, vannet fra dusjen ligger på gulvet hele dagen (tørker ikke opp) . Bye støy utenfor.

靠近海灘，停車位小

一般來說可以，價錢平，地點不太方便，自駕還可以,附近有小量餐廳，去芭東要半小時，浴室殘舊，沒有浴缸，健身房小，服務人員很好，有禮

Hôtel pas très accueillant les salles de bains sont vieillottes, la chambre est correcte mais ce n’est pas un 4 étoiles pour moi juste la piscine est top grande et entretenue. Le petit déjeuner est horrible café bouilli est inbuvable bref pour moi ce n’est pas un 4 étoiles

Bra men kunde varit bättre

Mysigt hotell med fint poolområde i härliga BangTao. Blek frukost men insåg att de lagade omelett på beställning vilket höjde betyget. Strul med rummets el och aircon. Sov totalt i tre olika rum pga detta vilket rörde till det för oss. Ingen kompensation erbjöds. Dåliga på engelska i receptionen men dom gjorde så gott dom kunde. Mestadels ryska barnfamiljer på hotellet.

Calme et services

Chambre propre et spacieuse, personnel dévoué et efficace, petit-déjeuner correct, tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour passer d'agréables vacances. L'environnement immédiat (glauque et humide) peut être déroutant de prime abord mais une fois le seuil de l'hôtel franchi, la sérénité domine. La plage est à 5 min a pied.Une belle piscine. Toute la famille est satisfaite!

Litet hotell med stor pool

Vi trivdes verkligen på det här lilla familjära hotellet. Barnen (7 och 11) älskade den stora poolen som är 1,75 m djup, men grundare i de yttersta delarna. Hotellet är lite av en oas bland barerna på den annars lite trista gatan. Ungefär hälften par och hälften familjer när vi var här i slutet av februari, början av mars. Gott om plats i poolen och många lediga solstolar. De flesta gästerna verkade vara från Ryssland, Finland, Sverige och Frankrike.

Très bon séjour. J'ai pu découvrir la Thaïlande, faire des excursions et profiter des différentes plages. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. L'hôtel est bien situé : plage, commerces et restaurants à proximité.

hôtel à taille humaine correspondant aux photos et descriptifs. superbe piscine. Grande chambre. Au calme alors qu'il se trouve à proximité des commerces et plage.

Nous avons passé trois semaines dans cet hôtel. Dans l'ensemble nous sommes satisfaits. La literie est très confortable mais les chambres manquent d'équipements ( porte- manteaux, cintres, porte bagages, chaises) et les rangements sont succions pour une longue période. L'environnement est bruyant, boite de nuit à proximité, et certaines personnes ne respectent pas la tranquillité des autres voyageurs( baignades bruyantes à des heures indues dans là piscine)

Good stay

Our stay was nice. The rooms were fine but very hard beds. Free drinkingwater re-filled every day in room. very nice and large pool. Breakfast was ok only because eggs were done on order. Other food at breakfast was often cold.
