Lots of stairs - bad for those with luggage

Great place in an reasonable area - BUT... The reception was up 3-4 large flights of stairs so not good if you are travelling with heavy luggage - there was no lift and this was not mentioned in the website booking process

Good place :)

I booked the one bedroom for this stay and I must say that the service was excellent as I got clear instructions before checking-in and also great service upon check-in. It is a centrally located hotel with a number of dining options nearby and walkable to some sites and the central train station. The property does not have a lift, and AC - I stayed in August so I had to keep the window open all the time - I was lucky there were not a lot of insects even if the room is just in front of a tree. There was also a foul smell coming from the bathroom, just had to close the bathroom door and it did the trick.

Good location/ noisy bar below

Good location and clean hostel. Unfortunately it’s above a bar/club, music was really loud till around 3/4 in the morning. Didn’t get much sleep.

No elevator, you have to go up to the third floor with your luggage. Very difficult for my elderly parents.

Clean budget friendly option

Simple hostel with old but ok bunk beds. Fine for one night. Staff was really friendly and nice and helpful. Thank you for letting me use the phone charger. It is a budget friendly option for solo travelers who only need a bed to sleep in. I recommend it!

Good

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Close to ,,Hala Koszyki” and not far from central station. At night you can go to one pub or restaurant around.

The staff is really nice and helpful. They speak good English so there’s no problem with communication. And the hostel is quite enough, very clean. Definitely recommend it.

It is clean and bright and located near a lot of bars and restaurants. The building it is in is old. There is a sign at the entrance reminding you of this and that you will be fined if you cause any damage to the property. There is no elevator so you have 70 or so stairs to go up and down. If you have heavy luggage or mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Same if you want to go out and drink a lot. Do you want to negotiate so many stairs? Make sure to use the bedsheets they give you otherwise they "fine" you 20 zloty. They might not tell you this when you check in.

Charging plug issue

Quite good, I don't understand one thing, why that mobile charging plug is face to bed (reverse) all charger not hold in that plus I can't understand, pls fix that socket as on wall Very disappointment

Would stay again in the future

Overall is was good. It was packed when I stayed there. Social distancing was not possible if you’re trying to distance, since backpackers came from different places. Kitchen and toilets were clean. Good supply of coffee and teas but the water in the kettle somehow is not too hot. The hostel is located in a good spot closer to the center rather than the old town.

They don’t wear bed clothes....

Nice area, but dirty and uncomfortable

The hostel is in a nice area, but dirty and very uncomfortable beds and pillows. The common area is also very small. Also it seems like they dont care much about enforcing tje covid-rules, common area packed with people in the evenings, no masks and no hand disinfectant exept small botle in the reception.

Very nice hostel with daily activities put on. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It's a 15 minute walk from the palace of culture and science.

Our private room was nice but very small ( saw much larger ones available), I suggest they should charge different prices for different size private rooms as the difference in size was significant. Some staff were very helpful others not at all, some spoke excellent English others almost not at all. No lifts so suitcases needed to be carried up 5 flights of stairs. Area was nice.

I booked the single room, it was surprisingly nice and neat, the only downside was building was over 100 years old and does not hv elevator, which I didnot know at the time of booking so hard to life my 20kg luggage’s up 4 levels to the reception, then moved it down once checked in, if you’d like to stay there, make sure to pack light!

They strive to be excellent. Got myself a spacious room with all comfort that I could expect, or better still.

Great location!

Every front desk host was super helpful and kind. More than accomodating! Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. I stayed in the 6 bed mixed dorm. Only one shower though.

Loved the hotel

Wonderful hotel, great staff, great location.

Excellent location! The best cafes around this hostel. The main area/lobby is clean and charming. They have free coffee but coffee machine just sits there. Dorm rooms lack privacy curtains and built in phone chargers. There is a plug but it is positioned downward which made my adaptor fall out. Not a smart system. You have to put your sheets on yourself which is not easy on the top bunk. No towels are provided. No shampoo or soap in the showers. Bunk beds are metal. Not the nicest. Terrible sleep here with people coming and going all hours of the night. Daytime staff one day were very unprofessional. I asked if I could turn the music down as I needed to make a phone call. They said yes, so I did, but then they turned on music from the office which is part of the same room. Overall the location and hostel is great if you need a place for one or two nights or if you have a private room. Sleeping in a dorm room is near impossible without any privacy curtains. Bunk beds also creak anytime the bottom or top person moves effecting the person above/below. Some of the staff were very immature, others more helpful. There is no elevator so prepare to lug your suitcase up and down three flights of stairs.

Nice, clean room. Clean, big bathroom. large common area. Fully equiped kitchen, even has an oven and fully automatic coffee machine. Free tea, coffee, and fruit. 24hr reception. Always friendly and helpful team. I love it!

Excellent hostel with great facilities

Really pleasant hostel, very clean, and with an excellent social area with couches, board games, dining area and balconies. There's a bean-to-cup coffee machine that makes cappuccinos, etc, and is free to use all the time, which is all kinds of amazing. The breakfast buffet is varied and good quality, excellent value at 12 PLN. Bathrooms are clean and the showers are good. Pretty good location, about 15 minutes walk from the central station and surrounded by hipster restaurants and coffee shops. Staff are friendly, and there are organised social activities most nights. On the negative side, it's on the third floor so lots of steps to climb. The plug sockets by the beds are mounted upside down, so my charger wouldn't stay in. You have to make your own bed, which is a nuisance especially if you're arriving late when others are sleeping in the dorm.

Great staff, super friendly and helpful. Hostel has great atmosphere and loved the nightly events. One of the best hostels I have stayed at.

Really great place to spend time and meet people

I had an amazing trip to Warsaw staying at the Chillout Hostel. I met a bunch of great people thanks to their nightly events such as ‘pizza night’ and ‘polish food’ night which kept everything fresh and helped to fill the time once the major attractions had closed. The staff were outstanding and helped with anything I asked with a variety of options of things to do, travel options and on one occasion one of the guys that worked there had a long discussion with me on Polish history! Really really happy and very impressed these guys made my trip what it was. Free WiFi, cheap breakfast (12 Zloty) which is a no brainier and a bunch of great board games and modern fittings in a beautiful building. Dzekuje!!!

The hotel is like a maze. If you want to go from the room to the reception you have to go through many stairs. Very little contact with other trips. location not good. And above all very, very loud. From morning to night.

ポーランド内を旅したため1週間前にも滞在し、2回目でした。 前回は宿泊客に恵まれず騒音に悩まされましたが、今回は静かに過ごせました。 ロッカーに鍵が付いているので用意する必要はありませんでした。 ただ、同じ部屋の年配の女性からチーノと言われ嫌な気分になりました。
