We booked a one bedroom apartment with king bed. While dated it was extremely spacious comfortable. Only downside was no cookware for microwave as no stove. There was nothing to heat anything up in. Handy eateries nearby but we were traveling with our own food. Very reasonable price for size of apartment.

Top hotelier, great stay, walkable

Noisy party next door at night but greeted with great display of vintage cars owned by other guests in the morning. Clean and convenient place to stay

Convenient position not too far from central Blenheim and easy access to supermarket and Taylor Reserve walking path. Unit needs attention. Shower mixer loose, no soap/shampoo rack in shower. Unit was No Smoking which was great but next to a smoking unit where the guests sat outside & chainsmoked. We were unable to have the door or window open despite the day being quite warm as smoke just came straight in to our unit. This was very unpleasant!

Amazing experience

Great experiance. We chose to stay in Blenheim before an early morning ferry and this accommodation was perfect for our needs. Clean and tidy with all amenities needed

Not to bad priced if you don't mind listening to domestics and a bit of child abuse from surrounding houses.

We booked this room for a night's sleepover only after coming off the late afternoon ferry crossing from Wellington. The room was compact, so would have been limited for a longer stay but was all we needed. Had a good sized, modern bathroom.

Very comfortable unit. There is a gate through to Armadillos Bar and Restaurant which is on the next street.

Check in Person was on phone when he walked into the office, didn't acknowledge us. Just a look at us, nod or thumbs up would have been suffice, bit disappointing Otherwise, a perfect place to stay, so convenient

Fantastic place to stay nice and central

Arriving late and having being able to find our motel unit ourselves.

The Oven needs to be looked at . It was very slow. We thought it would be better the 2nd night & brought Pizza to be heated in the Oven. Had Oven on for 10 minutes at 200 , put in Pizza ,after 10 minutes , had to turn oven up to 250 & cook for another 10 minutes. Elements on top of Oven seemed fine

A suprising package - excellent modern rooms, immaculatly presented unit & grounds. Only negative is the duty manager would brighten the place with a smile and a warner greeting.

The hosts were friendly, but I felt the Wi-Fi connection was of low quality and noise control was problematic. I could hear the phone call in the next-door unit at 4am.

Lovely staff, very clean and tidy unit. Hassle free and very welcoming. Not the newest motel I have stayed at but very well looked after. I’d stay again for sure.

Was a very nice place, warm and homely with a pool, and i would stay there again, you also had your own parking space which was great. There wasnt anything to dislike about the place.

Loved being able to walk out the back to dine at the tavern. Excellent food.

At check in, manager could not find my booking in Wotif, then being scratched on right ankle by kitten/cat, drew blood and became infected over next few days. No bedside radio/alarm clock, 2 very used flat pillows and no extras available, no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes. A very tired dispirited feeling to room. TV so high on wall you couldn't view it properly. Difficult to plug in electric blankets - had to move bed to find them and plug in. Bathroom was best part of room. Noisy unattended kids throwing pieces of wood around cars. As a "Queen Executive" room if fell way short of that description.

Basic little older motel with amenities for a quick overnight stay

Walls are very thin and no aircon but a great place to stay and the pool a big plus

Great Stay

Great stay, the room was a good size with all that you need for cooking and your stay. Parking is outside your room, shops close by and CBD 5 mins away and airport 10 mins, Picton ferry 1/2 hour by car. The staff member in reception was friendly and helpful.

Good for our 1 night stay before catching the ferry.

It was pleasant accommodation and surroundings. I enjoyed the park like area in the middle, it made you feel relaxed and on holiday mode. Would have been great for children. The unit was comfortable and spacious. Plenty of hot water. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The pool area looked very inviting. Only complaint I have was between the toilet and shower the vinyl was lifting; which to me was a health and safety issue.

This is a fantastic place to stay, I have many times while traveling with work, always great service

Our kitchenette suite was clean and amazing! I would personally like to thank Shani who helped ship me an item I forgot in the suite! The thoughtfulness, kindness and professionalism she and the staff had was a breath of fresh air! I would highly recommend staying with them to relax and ensure a gracious stay. The property was located within a short walk to a grocery store and pharmacy, but quiet at night when needed. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!

Great place for families. Staff very helpful, we had the 3 br family unit which was perfect for our holiday. Would love to come back in summer to take a dip in the outdoor pool. Thanks we hope to visit again soon.

Back in Blenheim, great to be back here, great service, nice room, perfect value

Spacious clean and great location. The bed were comfortable but the chairs at dining table too short or missing cushions made dining difficult. All else great.

Spacious rooms & spotlessly clean. Friendly management. Pleasant park for walks close by.

Brilliant place to stay in Blenheim

Unit was very clean and neat with everything we needed. Pool spotless and inviting. Staff all welcoming and very helpful. Mattress on bed a bit too soft for me but otherwise a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend to other couples or families as an excellent place to stay.

The outdoor area, particularly the pool and barbecue were excellent. The large room (apartment 18) was very dated and not in good condition - very old kitchen area particularly which needs a total refit. It was very spacious and roomy, just not in the condition we had expected. Very pleasant hosts who went out of their way to assist with the barbecue.

Over night again in Blenheim

Great to be back, service top notch, even if IT not strong point

We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit which was spacious and self contained. New dishwasher stove and fridge. Stayed 3 nights and would use Cherylea again. Nice river walk close by. 1.5km to the centre of town. We are a family of 6 and this was reasonably priced, as it is hard to find this type of family accommodation.

Part 3 for the year

Back in town with work, only for a night but as alsways a great central place to stay

The family unit we had was very spacious. It was hard to heat the entire area with one wall heater. Thankfully there were spare blankets for the beds. One of the cleanest motels we have ever stayed in. Missed simple items most motels usually have like hairdryer, sharp knife, bedside tables... The photos on wotif of the outdoor area aren’t current. There was a trampoline but no swing set.

Great place to stay.

There two nights to do a really great Wine Tour. The hotel was very handy for this, very comfortable, and very friendly and helpful staff. They even have a nice looking outdoor pool, shame we didn't have time to use it!

Unexpected trip

Lovely clean motel in perfect position, close to a supermarket and restaurant and a 20 to 30 minute walk into town. We checked in late but the host had our room ready and had sent me a txt with my room number, which I didnt check but he was very polite when I disturbed him after hours.

we stayed in room 4. We only used it for a night as we had the ferry booked the next day. It was lovely to see the dogs at this pet friendly motel. Kitchen was tiny and when I went to do my hair in the morning there wasn't a mirror in the room and no full length mirror anywhere. The plug in the bathroom where the only mirror was said it was for shavers only.

Reasonable and Clean

Everything was perfect for our stay, clean tidy, spacious

It was very close to where we wanted to be.So handy.But we did find that the room above us was noisey most of the night on both nights that we were there.After midnight till about 4.00am was the quietist.If we had of stayed another night we would of asked to move to another unit.
