Great value
Very helpful staff,,good value for money
Property was nice. Good location. No handicap access
The staff were all nice and helpful. The hotel is not your typical hotel. Its an old house that they converted to hotel. I guess thats just how it is. Just basic, you get what you needed. A little walk to earls court station.
Great service and location
We were in town for a couple days and everything was great except for the traffic noise which wasn't horrible, just fairly consistent. Easy check in, located in a perfect neighborhood for out of town visitors.
Wimbledon stay.
Staff very friendly and helpful, room clean ,bed comfy ensuite small but adequate clean and modern.Continental breakfast a bonus, will be going back next year.
Great stay
Great location near Earl's Court station. Includes continental breakfast.
Fan helpful Updated bathroom but without soap/shelf in shower/inconvenient Could do with new flooring and bathroom door Old beds/stained beds Twin beds should be separated, so two people could sleep separately such as a parent and grown child. When booking make sure to ask for separated beds.
Very convenient location. Excellent value for money and friendly service. We would stay again.
Situated a 5 min walk from Earls Court underground and very easy to find . Greggs, Mcdonalds, right outside station. Lots of cafes and eateriez on the main street. The hotel is as described. The rooms are small, but clean and well presneted . Tea and coffee making facilites, hair dryer and TV in the room. Clean, small bathroom with a hot shower, large shower towels and hand towels. Ample continental breakfast. Lovely stay with easy access to all of London
Nice affordable London Hotel
Lovely independent hotel 5 mins walk from the underground at Earls court. Very reasonable price for London and breakfast was included. Very well presented modern room with all mod cons and iron provided on request. Friendly staff Comfortable and clean
You get what you paid. The place is very old, no elevator, no A/C and our room that was at the highest floor was very warm, and you could hear the neighbour voices. The area is good, the breakfast not bad. If you wanna save it’s ok, but if you are picky get something else.
I stayed for one night, and am happy I did! It was very easy to get to the property by train from Heathrow airport. I arrived to the Earl corner station and walked for ten minutes in a smooth and easy stroll. There is a supermarket and places to eat. I liked very much the neighborhood, quiet and safe. The two gentlemen in the reception are were very helpful and respectful. The breakfast was good enough to start my busy journey. My room was very clean, especially the bathroom was impeccable. It was perfect for me as a mature solo traveler. It is also very easy to get to attractions and monuments. I definitely recommend it to everyone looking for and affordable, clean and well located lodging.
Staff was amazing. Our room was super clean. the location is magnificent because underground is close to the hotel. Even if your are taking UBER, we found good ride prices.
Great location and helpful stafff. All you needed for a stay in London. Will stay there again.
Convenience to the Earl’s Court underground station. Room was facing the street so a little loud at night but I had earplugs. Staff was very nice during check in and key drop for my early check out was available.
Good room for the price. Beds comfy and bed linens good quality, newly decorated and bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast fine for what we needed. I was worried as only 2 star but I shouldn’t have been, room was good.
Excellent Value
Great place to stay at the price point - very helpful staff
It was a expected. Staff were able to fill my request for ground floor. Good breakfast buffet. Clean and a good bed and bath. Not fancy, but very comfortable and convenient.
Breakfast was a bit below average ( not much warm food) with a wait for seating. Top windows in room could not be closed so the room was noisy with traffic and sirens. Tv old fashioned with loud beep when selecting channels, waking the other person in the bed.
Such a pleasant stay. Nicely set up and comfortable. I would come again.
Don't get a basement room
Do not get a basement room, rising damp and in very poor condition. Could smell damp all through the night. Only plus was bathroom OK
people are nice and friendly, room condition is no
people are nice and friendly, room condition is not good
An ok stay.
It was ok for what I wanted it for and where I wanted to stay. I would stay again.
Little grubby as we were located in the basement area. Light switch in room was filthy. Dining room was not adequate for the amount of guests staying there qnd tables were too low to sit at with a chair. I had two choldren with me and we were asked were we finished after 25 mins as other guests were wanting to eat. This was a dining room issue, i still had coffee left in my cup to drink. This was embarrassing as other guests looked over in horror at the request.
Charming little hotel in chelsea. Loved it! Well located.
Enjoyed my stay and would recommend!
I got there a few hours early so I thought I would have to leave my luggage and then go back to check-in, but I got lucky enough that there was a room ready so I was able to drop off my luggage and freshen up before heading into town to walk around. The hotel is in a good location, very easy to get to from Earl’s Court station. My only concern here was the luggage room which is in the basement, easily accessible from the outside… maybe they should put a gate right before the stairs leading to the luggage room?
Pleasant conveniently located hotel.
Simple but generally clean hotel. Pleasant welcome and surprisingly good breakfast. Great location so will probably use again.
The room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. The breakfast was a bit limited but certainly adequate
Clean and friendly if room somewhat small For central London a fair price and great location
Chelsea House was a simple hotel with a good price that met our short term needs. The beds were comfortable, there was a fan in the room to help with air circulation, check in was easy, the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. It was a 5 or 6 minute walk to the underground and many small markets and restaurants in between.
Traditional hotel, many stairs.
Stayed two night, solo business traveller. Hotel was OK, many stairs so don’t go it yiu need a lift, its an old building with thin floors so you can hear TV noise from other rooms. Well located for earls court station and restaurants.
Chelsea Gem
Amazing little place. Clean, friendly and a great location.
Stay was really enjoyable, room was nice and serviced each day of my visit, lovely shower. Breakfast was very nice. The only slight downside was the room was too hot, and it was not possible to turn it down, this meant I had to have the windows open which made it a bit noisier than it otherwise would have been..however I would have no hesitation in staying again.
Best we have had, in our price range. 👍
It was a joy to stay here, and will say it is the best hotel we have stayed in, in London, within our price range. Room was comfortable, and the continental breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly. We definitely will be staying here again.
We cant thank the staff enough. They went out of the way to move our room as i was on crutches they moved us to the ground floor moving our luggage while we were at a memorial service. It was easy access to the tube and exactly what we needed somewhere to put our head down warm and affordable
Lovely staff and an absolute bargain for location etc. Room was fine and would definitely stay again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was continental style but more than adequate
clean, tidy, excellent breakfast. well appointed. good value for money.
Noisy old building but good location
The location is spot on. Very close to the subway with lots of shops in case you need to buy bits and pieces. However, the building is quite old and you can hear everything that happens in rooms around or above you - on top of that my window did not close properly so I could hear noise coming from outside. It was ok for two nights, but I did not sleep that great!
Excellent location close to several tube stations and plenty of restaurants and shops. Lovely stay, check in was super easy and welcoming. The floor was a little creaky so you could hear people walking around upstairs and next to you on the stairs but it wasn’t too bothersome. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too.
Very comfortable room in a great central location.
Friendly, helpful staff nice breakfast clean and tidy near Earl’s Court tube station
Very nice staff. Excellent location.
Comfortable and good value.
Chelsea House Hotel is a gem. It is close to restaurants, shops, and the underground. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to the budget conscious traveller. The bathroom was beautifully updated and the bed was comfortable. We will be back.
Nice place
Very Old Building but with charm Decent Breakfast Nice Staff
We booked a double room but we were given two single beds. Even though they had the ability to put them together and dress it as a double, they didnt. We found old food under the bed showing that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly. The shower cubicle was broken and therefore the bathroom was soaked after each shower. There was also mould on the ceiling and some picture frames adding to the unclean feel.
Chelsea but not Chelsea prices.
Received a very warm welcome in this converted town house B&B in Chelsea. Given how little I paid for 3 nights which also clashed with a Chelsea home game (10 minutes walk away) I was a little nervous. Those feelings were allayed with a friendly check-in and my room had a massive bed and new shower facilities. Incredible value for money and handy for both Stamford Bridge and Earls Court.
Chh
The tv remote didn’t work. Some lights didn’t work. Didn’t sleep as traffic outside very noisy
Crntral
Staff were friendly, great location, my room was clean and my bathroom was refurbished in a modern style. I had the top floor room and it was extremely dated but it served its purpose for me to collapse in after walking in London all day
Great location, cost was good for what it offered. Included breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Only downsize was cleaning of room which was less than desired. It was mostly clean when arrived (except base of toilet) but upkeep during the week was not great.
Nice little spot near the tube station and ideal for a quick stay after we had been to watch football
Big, quiet, efficient
The staff at the front desk were very kind and welcoming. Really liked facing the back because I could hear the birds and open my windows. The room was large and so was the shower with a choice of shower heads. I found it quiet, comfortable and really accommodated my needs. The breakfast had plenty of cold choices that got me well into the day. Sadly I had to leave early because of flight cancellations and the covid-19. I will be back to stay there another time.
Not the best rooms, but a convenient location.
Convenient location for working in Chelsea & Earls Court. Took a while to get an answer at the door on arrival. Room was very cold (heating off), handle missing on the bathroom door and the room was very basic. There was no shower gel in the bathroom and the dispenser was broken. Not the best. Although convenient.
No Parking
This hotel advertises multiple parking spaces, however there is only 1 space available. Not ideal if you're travelling down in multiple vehicles. This stung us fro £65 trying to park elsewhere.
Good price. Clean and comfy beds. Simple but adequate breakfast. Rooms a bit tired but bathroom lovely. Long walk to top floor with no lift. Cold room but electric radiator if required.
Great stay
Pleasantly surprised... I read a few reviews that made me question my choice. Having searched various hotels I thought this was quite reasonably priced with car parking which was perfect for what we needed. We stayed 2 nights in room B1, the room was pleasant & clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a restful nights sleep, another family were in the room to the right and although we heard them arriving home & shutting the door we didn’t hear anything else from them or the guests above or on our landing. The breakfast was basic but it’s what we expected and was quite sufficient for a quick breakfast to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the gentlemen helped us find the nearest stop for our golden tours bus tour which was about a 20 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is in a good location, close to Earls Court Underground station with co-op, Tesco, M&S Food, Kfc, McDs, Nandos amongst many others within a 10 min walk. The buffet Chinese restaurant along the main road I would avoid! We had a massively disappointing visit to this place resulting in a full refund & us leaving. We are already thinking of returning in Summer and will be booking this hotel for our stay.
good value and very comfortable and quiet
good value and very comfortable and quiet
Budget but disappointing nevertheless
The B&B is in a good location close to Earl's Court tube station. On arriving, just before 3pm, we found reception closed and no-one in sight. We dropped our luggage down in the hall, looked around, rang the bell, and finally we were told by one of the cleaners that the receptionist had gone to Tesco and would be back soon. We thought this was a little strange, we had thought our room might not quite be ready as check in was from 3pm, but we at least assumed we would be able to get in and leave our bags. The receptionist arrived about 10 mins later and checked us in. She said our original room was on the 2nd floor but there was no working lift so we did we want to swap to ground floor. We decided to stick with the 2nd floor as we thought it would be quieter. We noticed some dirty make up pads which had dropped out of the cleaners bag as she came down the stairs. These were still on the stairs when we left the next day. We had a disturbed night thanks to door slamming and just after 1pm were woken by a huge argument going on in the room next door. It was quite unsettling as it was so loud but we couldn't call down to reception as there was no phone, and likely no-one on reception at this time anyway. We got up in the morning to have a shower only to find the water wouldn't drain away properly. The bath towels were tiny. We couldn't get a seat straight away at breakfast so had to stand in the corridor. Staff did not speak to us. Breakfast was limited. Overall it was not great.
The hotel close to Earl's Court tube station and there's a couple of good pubs and places near by to eat near by, the rooms are small and basic but alright for a short stay, the continental breakfast was ok , good value for the money we paid
Very walkable from Earl’s Court station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very nice staff. Rooms were lovely.
Close to Earl Court Station and easy access.
We enjoyed our stay. Location excellent. Staff helpful. We will be back
Albert hall concert break!!!
Overall a great place to stay, other than the view! A brick wall!!!!! Service was polite and friendly.
The room was a nice size, clean and tidy. It had an up to date bathroom and the bed was comfortable. There was also a fan provided which was great. Breakfast was good with a good choice of breakfast items.
Not bad for a 2*. It was clean and the room was modern, yet the water pressure in the shower was very low and the breakfast options were minimal.
Great location close to underground. Basic rooms but clean with continental breakfast
Good Hotel in West London
I always enjoy my stays at Chelsea House, I have stayed there on 11 separate occasions. The Hotel is what it is, a well priced Hotel on West London, 5 mins walk from Earls Court Tube & excellent placed to explore London. I stay here when I watch Chelsea Football Club as it 10 mins walk from Stamford Bridge. There are lots of great bars & places to eat within minutes of the Hotel. The Breakfast is great too, nothing fancy but plenty to fill you up before you leave for the day.
Great place ! Close to tube and lots of restaurants
have stayed here a few times, cannot fault it at all, cheap and cheerful, friendly staff, delighted throughout my stay
I've stayed in a number of 2 star hotels between Hammersmith and Victoria in the last year and this was the best so far. Large clean room with firm comfortable bed and modern fixtures&fittings. Booked a single room and was allocated a double. Only minor gripe was proximity to main road so ear plugs were required to attenuate the noise. Large bathroom power shower instant hot water. Nice continental breakfast. Would stay again.
The bedroom was surface clean but walls were dirty as were the tiles in the bathroom. Litter in gaps between furniture. 'Courtyard' bleak and full of rubbish and safety hazards.
Nice breakfast, fairly clean room and helpful staff.
Horror hotel
It was horrible Mouseyrsps in the rooms horrible breakfast Toilet loose in the floor Shower almost without any water How can you recomend such a slithole?
The Chelsea House is not a bad Hotel, however we were not aware of how busy the road outside was, I would not recommend it to anyone who is not used to constant traffic noise as it really did go on all night. Room was clean and tidy, but I would have liked more than one pillow each.
Good value for location, clean and comfortable, free continental breakfast was very reasonable
Ideal location
Nice comfortable hotel, close to Earls Court tube station.
Good value, obliging staff, Location excellent for my needs. Comfort three as room very stuffy with no ventilation,
All good for a bed for the night on a business trup
Basement room with bars on windows. No natural light. Breakfast was a joke. Staff not friendly to me.
Don’t stay on the third floor.
From 7:30 to about 9:30 there is no water pressure and the shower won’t work. In the afternoon it was extremely hot up there. No a/c, and with the windows open our allergies went crazy. Staff was nice, convenient location too.
Very basic
This hotel was very basic. We were in the basement and it was too hot to sleep. The shower gel smelled like men's aftershave and the water pressure was poor.
Small but well formed room ... view of the brick wall was particularly plensent. If you like to sleep with more than one 20 year old looking pillow I suggest you bring your own as on asking the hotel have apparently run out! I declined breakfast however my friend did not and did not have much to complain about. Good price and location was perfect for my needs , just a 10!min walk from Chelsie and Westminster hospital. I would stay again but would bring my own pillow!
Weekend away in London
The hotel was is a good location with local amenities. I enjoyed the stay and would book the hotel again.
Very good value hotel
Very good value hotel, great location, nice bathroom and amazing shower!
Good value for price, good location
Working in London for a couple of days- this hotel was ideal.
Highly recommended
Clean, comfortable bed, close to tube.
Have stayed here a few times. It is always clean and well-presented, and the reception staff are generally polite and friendly. The room this time (34) was fine but had the squeakiest floorboards I've ever encountered. If they get a chance, they need to remedy this!
Great place
Super location amazing beds
Nice hotel in Earls Court
I have stayed at this hotel twice now and think it is good value for a few nights stay in London. The continental breakfast selection although simple, provides enough to get you started for the day.It is nice to have the option, Check in and Check out was straightforward
ok budget hotel
position of hotel ok for royal albert hall and near to earls court tube station, hotel had a new bathroom which was nice, breakfast was basic but you cant expect too much for the price. Would recommend.
Pictures speak for themselves
Arrived at the hotel to be greeted by the smell of damp dog, a curtain hanging by a couple of hooks, a mouldy shower and dust and grime. We had arrived with only enough time to drop the bags off and rush out to meet our son and attend a concert. We informed the receptionist about the issues and she assured us that the problems would be sorted upon our return. We asked about a taxi, she booked us one at an extortionate cost of £15 (the return journey from the same place was £8 after midnight!) We arrived back, to a closed reception and the room exactly the same as we left it! Breakfast was included, but judging by the cleanliness of our room and the grubbiness of the hotel everywhere, we decided against it. We checked out and reiterated our complaint to an uninterested male receptionist. I asked if he needed our email address for the management to contact us, he said they had got it and that they would probably contact us! After several emails from me I finally received a reply 2 weeks later, after a couple of emails back and forth, they offered me £10 back! I declined and informed them that it was an insult and that I would now be writing a review for Expedia as you requested. GIVE THIS HOTEL A MISS
Stamford Bridge stay
Booked for Chelsea v Roma game due to price and location to Stamford Bridge. Modern bathroom & comfortable bed, better than other hotel I have stayed before in this area. Would recommend for anyone attending football. Good night sleep and everything you need in a room. Booked & paid online so easy check in process.
Handy location at reasonable price
My wife and I stayed 5 nights. We chose this hotel because it was relatively cheap and close to Earls Court Station, a handy station for access to various parts of London. The building was older and more rundown than expected. There were no lifts and our room was on the third floor with no views. There was no TV remote in the room and it took a day for one to be supplied. Service was otherwise good and our room serviced daily. Breakfast was continental only but all we required.
Bad experience
Old and dirty, old furniture falling apart, no mattress cover, breakfast was minimal. All in all we hated it.
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel
Warm friendly welcome Room and beds v.clean ensuite lovely
Smelly room, basic breakfast, quite noisy from other room.

Great find.
Great hotel that was easy to find. Very close to earls court tube station which was great for exploring London. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. The bathroom was overall clean but the shower itself had a bit of limescale and the smaller shower head didnt stay up but the bigger head worked perfectly. Good value for money overall.
