Really nice place to stay. The positives is the property itself being really well laid out. The food was great. We didnt know it was currently under renovations which would have swayed us away from the property if we knew. Overall, its a good place in a quiet part of Chaweng.

I loved where the resort was positioned. The resort was great, clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. I had a room with a private pool and it was perfect.

Stayed here just fro one night. Had an issue with my booking and after a bit of conversation, the property was very helpful and accommodating! The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool was nice. The breakfast was adequate and the view from the dining area is spectacular. The staff were all friendly and nice. My only complaint as a solo traveler was this place had all couples and families so not ideal. Of course, you can't blame the property for that! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is positioned beautifully on the beach, we had a bungalow pool view. The location is a little walk from the centre of Chaweng, but lots of shops, restaurants close by. The staff are all very helpful, polite and always smiling, they cannot do enough for you to welcome you and enjoy your stay. The chef is always on hand to cook fresh omelettes for breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.

Perfect place to relax and visit all sights

This place has everything. From the position of the resort to the fabulous staff who cannot do enough to make your stay as perfect as they can. Rooms cleaned every day, huge comfy firm beds, water, coffee & tea supplied each day, shower gels & shampoo supplied, toothbrushes and paste plus everything else you may need Beautiful gardens around the bungalows. Swimming pools are kept immaculate and the beach is only 20 steps from them. Lovely restaurant where you can sit at the edge of the beach and enjoy your meals while taking in the beauty of the bay. They surprised us on David’s birthday by knocking on our door and singing Happy Birthday and presented him with a super cake complete with lit candles. Just had one month there and only saw smiles from each staff member. We cannot wait to return next year.

Best bed I have slept in in Thailand. Very comfortable and the pillow was great also.

We stayed in the waterfront poolside villas and it was perfect. We could here the waves outside our window as we slept and the view was stunning. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful.

Resort is beautiful, in particular the landscaping [gardens] All resort facilities were brilliant with the resort having friendliest of staff, from reception, hospitality, housekeeping and grounds. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time at the Chaweng Cove Beach Resort staying in a garden-view bungalow. The room was nicely fitted with A.C. (thank goodness). The resort had a lovely family presence and was kept very clean. The staff were always helpful and smiley. The pool area was fantastic as was the beach and the breakfasts were definitely one of our favourite ones across Thailand due to the variety! Thank you!

Great beach side escape with family.

Stayed in the F bungalows, it was big clean and very comfortable. The beach was wonderful and they also had great breakfast. Will definitely go back!

We only stayed one night but the bed was very comfortable, and beach loungers & pool bar were fantastic. The only negative was the smoke detector battery went off in the middle of the night waking us up.

Great location, close enough to walk to everything in Chaweng but still quite. Very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet.

Overall staff is not friendly. They would not try to go the extra mile for you. I remember I waited more than one hour at the airport because they did not send the car to pick me. I called Only so they could tell me to get a cab. The reception did sound friendly at all and I felt the same on departure. By far not the best experience I had with hotel staff.

Above average stay

Good location and pleasant enough stay with breakfast being particularly good. Only negatives was dark and dingy feel to the room and staff ask you to leave keys when you go out but was shocked to find my key sitting on the front desk with no member of staff there to watch it. This was at 0100 so my suggestion would be to keep the key on you

Next to the beach and close to shops. Nice pool area. Comfortable rooms, but not great lighting. Friendly staff. Don’t get confused about the complimentary water, it’s the glass bottles not in the fridge.

Great stay at Chaweng cove, great room next to pool, very clean room and location, it would be nice to have staff around pool area and on beach to ask guests if they would like a drinkbetc, however not a deal breaker

After having a really bad experience in Bangkok being pick pocked and stranded while on route to the Chaweng Cove Beach Resort. The stay at the hotel took away the feeling of that bad experience and put a massive smile on my face and made my holiday... the resort is lovely the location is breathtaking and the staff are amazing. I would recommend anyone going there. Not one bad word could I say about the resort and I would happily go back there again. A massive thank you to all the stuff who are very helpful And friendly

Dingy rooms

Good location on the beach with a good choice of breakfast options. Restaurant, bar and room staff friendly and helpful. The room was very, very dated with a very old shower/toilet room, desk/dressing table was dirty and stained. The room in general felt like a grubby motel. It was overpriced for the room type. Unfortunately the biggest let down was reception staff who were unhelpful and unwelcoming in particular a male receptionist. When asked if we could borrow an iron he responded ‘no we don’t have an iron you can go on the street to the laundry service’. I only had one item to iron for that evening. Another scam on check out was a telephone bill for 380baht for 3 attempts at calling my mother however none of the calls connected, just automated ‘your call cannot be connected’. After complaining of the charges for calls which did not connect the charge was reduced to 160 baht. Overall a good location on the beach but dingy rooms and management let the hotel down. Would not recommend or stay there again.

It is a very nice and comfortable resort by the ocean. You will love the atmosphere. Has all the facilities. It is just 15 mins waway from the airport.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Great hotel situated right on the beach at one end of Chaweng beach. Good quality rooms and nice breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants but probably need a taxi up to the busier area of Chaweng which is only 100-200 Bhat.

beautiful location next to a wonderful beach

nice hotel ,wonderful beach.they forgot to do room on one occasion. not very many staff could speak English therefore it was hard to communicate our needs.

Right on the beach. Accomadates most budgets. You can go super fancy bungalow or a fairly decent basic room which is still quite spacious. 2-tier pool with bar. Staff are super friendly. The breakfast is huge amd delicious buffet style thai/western. Would stay again. Great location

Excellent hotel!

I stayed with my son for 5 nights and the hotel is amazing, with 3 pools on the white sand beach, great breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the beach. Massages on the beach, kids club is available. Very clean and secure. The staff were very kind and friendly and always looked after my son. It is located about 5 min tuk tuk or 20 min walk from the arc bar where the beach dance party and fire show is on every night. I highly recommend this place.

Garden paradise that meets the ocean.

Fantastic location on the beach but not too far from the town centre. Staff are all friendly and helpful. I will always come to this hotel it is my favourite. The beach is in your backyard and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

I've stayed in deluxe room with balcony for 5 nights , If you are looking for relax and would like to sleep at night DO NOT come at this hotel ! Even if you leave dirty towels on the floor they don't change for new clean ones! You have to ask and make sure to take new clean ones. Breakfast good. Beach and sun beds in reality not like presented in advertising.

One word - awesome. Very friendly staff, clean, well laid out, we enjoyed a poolside room, which was spacious and a stones throw from the beach. Quiet end of Chaweng but easy walk to food & nightlife. We recommend to all and everyone.

Disappointed to say the least

The location of the hotel was the best thing about this hotel! The breakfast was very poor and served just warm. The room was horrendous, the air con was extremely loud and made the whole room smell mouldy and unbearable, we really should have complained and requested a more however we avoided staying in the room for long. We paid extra money for the jacuzzi bath which was A complete waste of money and meant our view was a brick wall. Would not recommend this hotel at all and spoilt our trip to Koh Samui

We had a great time here. The facilities were clean and right on the beach. Beach had plenty of chairs and was clean. Food for breakfast was good and rooms were clean. Very satisfied overall.

Perfect setting on quiet end of the Chaweng Beach

We stayed here last year for three weeks, so we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed even though it rained 5 days out of 16. All was good. Will return next year.

Not too bad

The hotel is not the best, but not the worst. It's a little bit out of the centre of Chaweng, but there's still plenty of shops nearby (i.e. a convenient store just 20 seconds walk). The pictures advertised were unfortunately a bit exaggerated (i.e. the Standard Double Room we got, it was a very dark room, not much lights), and also the bathroom needs a bit renovating as the tiles on the floor and walls were staining. Bed was comfortable, there was a nice little outdoor balcony with seats which is quite nice. Very good positive was that it is a beachfront hotel, so it's just seconds walk away from the very warm waters.

Beautiful resort

Excellent stay from check-in to check-out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large buffet breakfast between 7-10am every morning. Takeaway breakfast box was made for us as we were checking out before 7am on the last day. Pool area was nice and clean. Unable to think of any negatives from the stay!

Beautiful beach resort in a great location in a quieter part of Chaweng.

Close to the beach

The showers are terrible! Water pressure would randomly change and come out boiling. Located on a beautiful beach front near the end of Chaweng beach. Staff was nice and helpful. Included breakfast was nothing special.

Good hotel

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights. It was a good hotel, although it's location was further from the main area than we realised (still only a walk away though). Whilst here we did the cooking class which was a lot of fun and would definitely recommend! The staff were lovely and helpful and made us a CD of the cooking class with photos and recipes. The breakfasts each morning were good too, with a large selection to choose from. Additionally, we rented scooters through the hotel for 200 baht a day. Laundry services were cheap and good quality too. The only real complaint we had was with the shower which constantly changed water temperatures without touching anything. Would recommend this hotel to a friend if they were looking for somewhere to stay in Koh Samui.

Very good hotel, but a bit overpriced. Already at 6:30 AM occupied all the sunbeds. Breakfast buffet is excellent, Staff very helpful. Bungalows in the garden very comfortable. Additional services very overpriced. For breaking two cups we paid 500 THB, but we have not received any other, even though I requested it.

Nice room but outdated facilities

Stayed in a garden villa for 6-days in February 2017. The room was basic but spacious and nicely decorated - the bed was one of the largest I have had and was very comfortable. The air-conditioning unit kept the room very cool but sounded like there was a helicopter in the room. The pool was a nice size, but reminded me of Benidorm with all of the sun-loungers and the 6am fight to reserve them with towels (much of Koh Samui is like that to be honest). Breakfast was reasonable - with the very good egg / omelette station offsetting the terrible bacon. The breakfast / bar area appeared to be in need of updating (I think the strong waves were at least partly to blame).

Very modern resort, situated in between the beach and the busy Koh Samui street vendors! Perfect location for people wishing to enjoy the quiet of the resort while being very close to shops, vendors, restaurants, and bars!

Nice hotel on the beach, convenient location

We had a great stay at this hotel on our visit to KS. The hotel was very good. You do have to seek your own evening entertainment unlike some of the european beach resorts which have them included. This wasn't a problem for us but it may be a bit boring if you have kids. We did a 4 hour tour of the island visiting the popular areas. We would have also done some snorkelling but ran out of time. If you're heading up to the town centre try going the back route via the beach. It's a lovely walk and you avoid all the traffic and vendors touting for your business! The restaurant right nest to the hotel do some nice thai food at very competitive prices.

First Trip to Chaweng, Koh Samui

This is a nice 3.5 stars hotel with great staff and wonderful place for those who wants a short getaway where you can do your own thing and chill. Our traveling dates are End November to Early December which is the Monsoon Season and our last day, we were lucky to escape the flood. But heck, this is pure luck and Chaweng at this time of the year, I was told it is less crowded and we like it! This is our first trip to Koh Samui and we will be back fro more.

Convenient, great position

Apart from the initial email issues, the hotel staff were very accommodating with my requests.

Nothing special so expect nothing special

Smallish beach hotel with nominally all the facilities for their tourist clientele including a decent bit of beach which could be kept cleaner even though they are hardly responsible for the jetsam and flotsam of what appears to be a quite polluted ocean. I'd describe this hotel as veneered and once you prize it off out comes the bad practices, bad staff attitudes and the junk that is covered up.

Nice, clean, comfy hotel.

Room was good, breakfast was great. A little further down the beach from the main party area of Chaweng Beach too if that's what you are looking for. Easy enough to walk to the clubs, catch a cab or rent a scooter even. Short trip to Lamai beach from there too. Staff helped us book our ferry and taxi transfer to Koh Phangan last minute which was a great help!

Everything was great except lack of TV channels

My husband and I stayed at Chaweng Cove Beach Resort for our honeymoon for 4 nights. The resort it absolutely beautiful. The breakfast had decent options and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. For those who want to go to Samui for partying might find Chaweng Cove a little farther from the Ark Bar area since the Ark Bar is a 20 minute walk away. We didn't mind the 20 min walk. Next time I go to Samui I will definitely stay at Chaweng Cove and i'd recommend it to anyone.

No hot water

Great location the staff are not helpful and there are no running hot water to shower . I will never consider this hotel again

Hotel with good location

Chaweng Cove is approx. 20 mins walk to Central Festival and slightly further to Green Mango. Good location as you have access to a quiet private beach with no hawkers and walkable distance to the busier centre. The superior room was okay... Big bed but bad lighting and wifi dropped out a lot. I think the bungalows may be better. Great massage place nearby called Siam. Poppies restaurant next door is a must try.

Great beach, great sand, great food, great drinks all at your doorstep. Your doorstep is onto white sand which leads to the beach!

A very nice hotel,great location and staff,just by the beach

Excellent 3 star hotel but no more!

This was a great 3 star hotel, although it fails to attain 4 star due to a few points, namely the rooms while clean were a little tired looking; the towels were hard with over washing, the breakfast while having a good selection catered for westerners, which was the same every day. The only thing that did change was the Thai main dish usually beef, pork or chicken dish. It would of been nice to sample some more local cuisine. Having said that it was an enjoyable stay the staff were pleasant and it was well maintained. An excellent location on the beach and plenty of shoos, bars, restaurants in the street. The resort is very touristic, so if you crave quietness or sample traditional Thai culture, then the resort won't suit. If I ever returned to the resort I'd probably sample another establishment, however, I would never dissuade some from staying at this hotel. We had a very enjoyable week with no complaints, merely the aforementioned minor points!

Great location on th beach

Cute hotel on the beach close to the Shopping mall and many restaurants. Easy to get to from the airport. Clean and comfortable rooms with great staff on hand to help. Breakfast buffet was nice- not very big but has enough options to suit everyone.

Overall a pretty good place to stay. Right on a good part of the beach. Located at the quieter Southern end of Chaweng Beach, about 15 minutes walk to the centre area.

Right on Chaweng Beach

We stayed in a deluxe room and had an upgrade to a room with a private courtyard. Our room was huge with 2 kingsize beds! The private courtyard was excellent as most of the rooms have a very open - not so private terrace for all to see as they walk past along the pathway to the beach. Breakfast is great and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Can be a problem with lounges on the beach as people reserving with their towels and not appearing until near lunch time!! Lots of close by restaurants and supermarkets and easy walk to busy end of town.

Great location staff not helpful,

I had used an old credit card to pay for the hotel 8 months before when I checked in I had to produce it. I should have been told this I then had to call my bank to get a letter. Staff would not call up a bus for us told us to do it ourselves, our private pool did not work for 3 days, no apologies then I was charged $10 for a missing laundry bag

Great Vaction in Koh Samui. Enjoyed all facets of it best due to my hotel and its location. Best part of the beach and good food and relaxing options all around. Sea sand and sun was enjoyed best with the sea as well as the well kept pools. Kids enjoyed the closeness to sea and the food too.

Good hotel with a great location

Went there with my family (4 adults and 2 children) from 03 - 08 Jun 16. Their hotel lobby was small but adequate. Check in was a breeze. We got the garden view superior bungalows but was pleasantly upgraded to a poolside bungalow (Room B15). Our room was situated just beside the dining area which was just by the beach. A big plus! Though the room was a bit aged, it was well up our expectations and is almost exactly like what you see in the pictures. Housekeeping service was a bit of a let down. For a few days they did not replenish the complimentary coffee & tea (but that is a small issue to us) Location. The hotel is smack in the middle of Chaweng. Just outside of the hotel to the left is a pharmacy and 7-11. To the right are retail shops and a few seafood restaurants just 10 mins walk away. Buffet breakfast menu was bacon, beans, eggs, a variety of bread and fruits. The quality of the food was ok, but the menu is the same everyday, so by the 3rd day, we got a bit bored of it. There are 3 adjacent small pools there. But no children's pool facilities which is not good if you have young ones I thoroughly enjoyed myself there and have experienced good hospitality. Almost all the staff there had a cheery disposition and would always greet us whenever they see us Room Tip: Get the bungalows. Its much better value

Serene & Comfortable Chaweng Cove

We really enjoy this resort & pretty much everything that comes with it, including the beach, massage, restaurant, happy hour, location & overall quite possibly the super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent spot & can't wait til our next visit.

Comfortable hotel with nice brekky

We only stayed overnight to meet our connection to Koh Phangan. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were lovely. Brekky was awesome.

Clean and Relax

Chaweng area seems a bit quieter than expected. Hotel at beach front. Nice pool, lots of tanning bed provided. Along chaweng beach there's plenty of nice restaurants including the hotel's. Restaurants in surrounding areas more not operated by Thai. Fisherman's village area seems more hip with cool bech bar. Chaweng is city nearby. Close to central festival n airport. Overall was ok.

A lovely resort

The only thing that let it down was the bar service too slow, 1 to take the order 1 to make it 1 to take the money and 1 to bring the change. I would definitely recommend a Thai massage on the beach they are worth the money.

Best Beach Resort

We stayed here for a week in April 2015 & couldn't wait to return again this year in April 2016. Great spot. We like it so much we have booked our daughter in for 9 days in May/June. We of course will join her once work is out for the summer. Perhaps the hi-lite over all is the reception staff, especially Natcha with whom we dealt the most. Wonderful staff overall, pool/beach boys are terrific as is the restaurant staff. All good!
