Truly a charming Homestay, Thank you!

We loved Charming Homestay in Hoi An. The owner and hostess Nhi, is a true gift to travelers. Among the many, many helpful things she did for us: She arranged for car transfer from the airport to Hoi An, which was very reasonably priced. She went out of her way to help us get the most out of our few days there, recommending various activities, restaurants, even a fantastic cirque du soleil inspired show with music, dance and acrobatics which was great! She gave us maps with directions to wonderful out of the way but beautiful locales eg: an idyllic, beautiful open air restaurant where we enjoyed the serenity of the rice fields while having delicious drinks like iced coconut coffee. She also directed us to a likely equally great locales at the beach, but we never got to ride bikes (which she provides) out there due to monsoonal weather. If it wasn’t for Nhi we would have missed the wonderful Cirque du Soleil inspired show because we got caught in a monsoon rain, but she called a cab and then when he picked us up she gave him instructions to drop us off at the theater door. We got there in the nick of time! Regarding the Homestay room: it was wonderful! Large, airy, bright, with a balcony and garden view. Quiet, very private, and very clean, with a large very good shower. The king bed and pillows had nice linens & the bed was very comfortable. A/C worked great. We slept very well. Nhi made us a delicious breakfast every day. We highly recommend Charming Homestay!

We actually booked our room at the Charming Home Stay before we bought our flights. In essence, this whole trip was booked around our 9 day stay in Hoi An and Tet. Our room absolutely lovely, breakfast delicious, OMG! Incredibly accommodating. They did it all, arranged private cars, scheduled massages, recommended restaurants, things to do and see. We felt like part of the family! Especially after celebrating the lunar new year with Ms. Nhi. Our Tet experience, complete!! Our stay was truly Charming! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ We are so grateful for their kindness and care. Ms. Nhi, Ms. Ha, Ms. Oanh and of course Ms. Nhi’s lovely mother. I have lived on 4 continents in 5 years and so have a sense of "Homestays". I can't say whether the genuine welcome i feel here is characteristic of all Viet Nam, or whether i have simply happened upon real people· What I see, is that Charming Homestay is committed to making your time in Hoi An, generally, and Charming Homestay in particular as fine an experience as they are capable - and i believe they are very capable·

Very nice guesthouse with a friendly family atmosphere, and the price is great value for a good-sized room and decent breakfast. Nhi and her mother made me feel very welcome, and the hard-working Nhi was always happy to help with advice and bookings for day-trips etc. And of course her mother is the star attraction, with her lovely warm smile! Hoi An old town is about 20 minutes' walk away from the homestay, there are free bicycles available but I found cycling on Vietnam's chaotic roads too nerve-wracking to use them much! I don't know if I'll have a chance to return to Hoi An, but I'd definitely stay at Charming Homestay again if I do.

A great great peaceful place

A really great place to stay. 10 mins on the bicycle away from the old town or 20 mins across the paddy fields to the beach. Lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff there are really, really friendly and booked all of our ongoing rail travel for us. Cannot recommend Charming Homestay enough. If you are Hoi An and want to stay somewhere peaceful but close enough to everything stay here

Great value, amazing room!

Nhi is friendly, helpful and opens her home beyond what is required of a good host. Great service & charming brekkie. Nhi’s recommendations are tailored to westernizers, so feel free to venture out into more localized options.

Home away from Home

A totally home away from home away experience. Nhi, Ha and others were amazing, went out of their way to make us feel at home. We had lots of fun. We will definitely stay here when ever we are in Hoi An. Close enough to everything. Must have Nhi's pancakes!!!! YUMMY!!!

Great stay with very friendly staff

My spouse and I stayed at Charming Homestay and were hosted by Ha, Nhi, and her mother. Everyone was super nice and their home was great. The breakfast service was great! The room was clean and very nice.

Highly recommended!

Nhi was a great host! Upon our arrival, Nhi prepared fresh juices for us and recommended us the various sights and foods for us to explore during our stay in Hoi An. The house and room was extremely cosy and the beds were comfortable as well. Bikes are available to borrow for free so the old town was easy to get to.

We stayed at Charming Homestay for 3 nights. We wish we had organised our trip better and stayed longer. Nhi, her mother and Ha made us feel very welcome. We woke up each day to a beautiful breakfast. Nhi was really helpful in suggesting places to visit. She provided us with bikes as the homestay is a short (5 mins) bicycle ride from the town and not much further to the beach. Highlight was the cooking class I had with Nhi in her kitchen. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Welcoming home, super wonderful hosts!

Located outside the very busy tourist area, within walking or cycling distance to the old town. Beautiful spacious rooms, with comfortable beds and view to the gardens. Our hosts were very welcoming, offering great advice on sites to visit, restaurants to try, cycling routes into the countryside and willing to answer any questions we had. They arranged our airport pick up, and our train tickets to Hue. Best of all, a great fun cooking class, only two at a time, which we enjoyed thoroughly. Nhi, Ha and Mama, are proud of their Homestay and it is reflected in the warmth of their smiles, and beautiful guest house.

Awesome people and great facilities!

This place was awesome! My husband and I were just looking for a few days to escape Hanoi during our winter break and this homestay was perfect. It is close to everything and the host and other guests make great conversation around a cup of tea or coffee on a rainy day. The breakfast is wonderful with coffee, fresh juice, eggs/baguette, and a fresh fruit platter. Perfect start before heading out to explore Hoi An and the surrounding area. They arrange tours (we did a half day tour/boat to My Son - $7 usd) and draw you their suggestions for local tailors or great bike routes (they provide bikes as part of the room). The actual room and facilities are also top notch and very charming! Perfect for anyone wanting to relax and explore the natural area or shop for hand tailored one of a kind items (we were able to do both in three days). We could have done even more if the last day didn't rain so hard (which was obviously no fault of the homestay).

Great place to stay!

The charming Boutique is a great place to stay. It was the first time we used a home-stay and we weren't too sure about it but the reviews were great and when we got there we were very pleased with our decision. Nhi and her mum have a lovely house. Our room was like a hotel room. Nhi will help you with any bookings you need or travel info. They have bikes you can use for free or she will help you with scooter hire, taxis or shuttles to the airport. Breakfast is great and even though we had to leave very early on our last day Nhi had packed a lunch bag for us for our travels. You would be very happy here.

Great value stay

A lovely place, and so affordable too! Great location, much better than staying smack in the middle of touristic Old Town, and with friendly hosts and nicely decorated rooms. The breakfast is basic, and the bathroom is a wet one, but for us this was not a problem. The only thing that could be improved on was the shower drain, as water was pooling after showers. The bikes here are great too, much better than the rickety ones we had at a fancier hotel in a different part of Hoi An.

The perfect place to stay in Hoi An

This really is a 'Charming' home stay. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to assist you. I enjoyed my time here so much I have extended my stay. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was a highlight of my day. The location is great for exploring the various areas of Hoi An and the free hire of bicycles are a great bonus. A fantastic stay!

A 'charming' little homestay

A lovely home stay with charming staff. No request was too much, and we had a lovely stay. The free bikes were helpful for reaching the town and beach and breakfast was a tasty treat. The room fixtures were of high quality and good size. Comfortable bed, good shower and open Wi-Fi. I definitely recommend!

A hidden gem in Hoi An

We stayed for a week at Charming Homestay and our experience of the homestay was outstanding. The property was very quaint and clean and the rooms were very nice and modern. What sets this place apart from other home stays and hotels in Hoi An is the family that will be hosting you. They are extremely welcoming and will go above and beyond to make you happy during your time there. They offer free bikes for use which is a short 10 minute ride to the ancient town. They also provide some really great information on what to do, where to go, what to see, and what to eat which really made our stay eventful. We highly recommend this homestay and will return the next time we come back to Hoi An.

Great base to explore Hoi An

A true homestay experience. Ms. Ni and her coworkers took great care of us, esp. my wife who was sick- calling the doctor early in the morning, regularly plying her with hot ginger tea etc. Ni's mom was such a sweetheart- genuine warmth and affection. The hotel is conveniently located between the ancient town and the beach, and they provide free cycles to get around. Service overall was better than the 5 star hotel we stayed in Saigon. Highly recommended!

The most homely place in Hoi An!

We had an excellent time at Charming Homestay. Nhi and Ha were so lovely and gave us loads of local tips of where to drink, eat and where the best tailor was. The room was beautiful, big and spacious and a lovely bathroom. We will be going back for sure!!

Great homestay

Located perfectly between the beach and the township with free bicycles to assist you in exploring, this homestay is perfect. The rooms are modern and nicely appointed with plenty of room. Nhi is a excellent host who I would gladly recommend to anyone.

Nous avons trouvé cet hébergement par hasard et nous avons été loin d'être déçues. Nhi est une hôte parfaite, aux petits soins, toujours prête à nous arranger. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et fait maison, et les chambres sont propres et super confortables. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous avons souhaité revenir pour nos derniers jours au Vietnam. Je recommanderai sans hésiter cet établissement qui me donne envie de repartir en vacances ! Merci encore Nhi et sa maman pour votre gentillesse qui nous touche en plein coeur !

Truely charming

It was amazing. The familly that managed the homestay is lovely and very helpful. The house is truely charming and a great oas close to Hoi An. Additionally they make delicious pankakes. I would really recommend them.

親切なニーさんのお陰で快適に過ごせました。最初の部屋は少し黴臭かったので、メールに返信したところ直ぐに飛んできて部屋を変えてくれました。二日目の朝食はパンケーキをサービスしてくれたり、チェックアウト時にはお土産をくださいました。うちも何かプレゼントを持って行けばよかったと後悔しました。場所も市街地まで無料のレンタサイクルで15分位、アンバンビーチも15分くらい。少し大きな車の通りが多いですが、夜は静かでぐっすり休めました。雨季の終わり頃なので多少湿っぽいのは仕方ないですね。

I had a wonderful time at Charming Homestay and recommend this place to everyone. Not only because of the beautiful large room, the cleanliness, the facilities you can make use of or the delicious breakfast, but most of all because of the friendly charming family who runs the hotel. From the first until the last minute, I felt at home with Nhi and her mother around me. A place recommendable for everyone who likes a charming place that feels like home!

Toute l'équipe (composée exclusivement de femme) est vraiment géniale et ils font tout pour que votre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. La cuisine est parfaite et les chambres sont propres avec tout le confort nécessaire. J'ai vraiment adoré cette Homestay ainsi que son personnel. Cette étape restera un moment important de mon séjour au Vietnam et je vous recommande chaudement des vous arrêter à Charming Homestay si vous passez par Hoi An.

방 깨끗하고 가성비 좋아요. 주인이 영어를 잘하고 친절해서 궁금한거 있으면 다 알려주구요. 투어 프로그램이나 교통편도 어레인지 해줘요. 요리도 잘 해서 쿠킹 프로그램도 있어요, 정말 편하게 쉬다 왔어요.

Hjemlig hygge hos Nhi og hendes mor i Hoi An

Dejlig morgenmad, fine værelser og hjemlig hygge Hos Nhi og hendes mor føler man sig godt tilpas. På cykel, som udlånes gratis, er man i den gamle by på 10 minutter eller på de små veje mellem rismarkerne på 5 minutter. Nhi og hendes kusine Ha sørger for god morgenmad. Og Nhis mor, Phu, gir kærlige kram og sørger for blomsterne i haven. Kan stærkt anbefales.

Lieblingshotel!superfreundlich, sauber, super Lage

Unglaublich freundliche Gastgeberin Nhi mit Mutter und zwei Mitarbeiterinnen. Fünf sehr gepflegte, große und saubere Doppelzimmer je mit eigenem Bad, neu eingerichtet, alles funktioniert. Frühstück mit leckeren frischgepressten Säften, geniale pancakes. Karte und Leihfahrräder für eigene Touren (z.B. Seidenfabrik, Strand oder Wasserpalmen), auf Wunsch Tourbuchung (z.B: My Son, Shuttles) oder Kochkurs nach Wunsch. Nebenan ATM, um die Ecke Markt, zehn lockere Radminuten zur Altstadt. Sehr fairer Preis. Hotel wurde uns von Freunden empfohlen, auch wir trafen mehrere Wiederholer. Nächstesmal auf jeden Fall wieder!

Kleines, feines Homestay in Hoi-An

Das Homestay war wunderbar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten. Aber Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär. Die Begrüßung war herzlich und wir haben sofort viele tolle Tipps für die Stadt bekommen. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Allerdings war es relativ klein. Wir hatten nur einen Koffer, daher war es okay. Mit mehr Gepäck wird es eng, aber das Homestay verfügt auch über größere Zimmer. Wenn man mit viel Gepäck reist, sollte man also drauf achten welche Zimmergröße man bucht.

Nettes Hotel in angenehmer Lage. Bis zum Strand sind es 20 min mit dem Fahrrad, welches kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Frühstück haben wir nicht mitbekommen da es leider nur bis 9 geht und wir Langschläfer sind.

親切なスタッフが営む、小ぢんまりとした清潔で素敵な民宿です。

小さなホテルですが、部屋は広く清潔です。日本人的な感覚では値段からすると考えられないグレードの部屋だと思います。贅沢ではありませんが素敵な朝食付きで、無料レンタル自転車まであります。スタッフはフレンドリーかつ丁寧で親切な対応をしてくれます。

Unforgettable experience

Stay here for 2 nights. Totally understand why it is highly recommended in different webs. 1. Clean and neat room, didn't expect the room quality is so high with this price. 2. Super friendly host, daughter Nhi explain the best in Hoi An to play and eat. And patiently answered all our queries with detail information. Mother is not good in english, but she can understand and she is always so eager to help. They make us feel so warm :) 3. FREE. Free breakfast with tons of food, free bike renting, free wifi, and free smile and unlimited help! 4.good location. Less than 10 mins from homestay to ancient town by bike. Around 20mins to An Bang Beach, both worth to visit, esp when otw to An Bang beach, the rice field view is amazing. Cannot think of a reason why we do not stay in Charming homestay if visit HoiAn, exceed expectation and value of money. Will definitely come back.

Home-like homestay

We had 1 night stay in the hostel. The staff " Ha" was nice and the old lady was nice too. When we were back to hostel at night, the host lady waited for us at the entrance and talked to us. It feels like home. If there is a swimming pool it would be much more perfect

Familiär - schön - mit viel Liebe

Eine top Adresse für Hoi An. Von Beginn an fühlten wir uns herzlich Willkommen. Mit Tee und vielen Infos zur Hoi An. Die Famile betreibt dieses Homestay mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und die Betten waren bequem. Das Frühstück war top, alles frisch zubereitet. Unbedingt den Passionfruit Drink ausprpbieren. Jedes Zimmer erhält 2 Gratisbikes, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Lage ist gut, man hat 5' für in die Altstadt. Probiert den Geheimtip des Ban Mi aus, schmecken echt lecker diese Sandwiches. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Ein Zuhause in der Ferne

Das Charming Homestay wird von der wundervollen Nhi und ihren Mitarbeiterinnen geführt, die einem mit hervorragendem Englisch jederzeit weiterhelfen können. Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet, groß und verfügen über alles, was man benötigt. Vom Homestay sind es 10 min mit dem Fahrrad in die Stadt und 15 min zum Strand. Die Fahrräder stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Ich kann diese Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen weiter empfehlen.
