Worst all-inclusive hotel we've been to. Music was louder than at Ibiza; barmen barely knew how to make drinks and food was lower than average.

Pros: large property and good swimming pools and slides. Entertainment team try hard for guests. Cons: standard rooms not big enough for family of 4- they ask for extra cost when checking and upgrade. Cleaners ok, not a deep clean everyday. The worst: food! Bland, nothing for vegetarians except pizza/pasta/chips and salad. 2 al carte restaurants also has same type of food and nothing to rave about. Reception staff - terrible service and attitude I would avoid this hotel.

Amazing amazing amazing, everything about Charmillion aqua resort was amazing. Highly recommend, friendly staff, great food lovely spacious room. I cannot fault this place. PLEASE IGNORE ALL THE BAD FEEDBACK ABOUT THIS PLACE!!! You will not be disappointed ☺️

There wasn't anything about this hotel that was 5* It should not be more than 3* hotel Food was terrible Charged for small bite size of ice cream Only 1 bar that offers all the drinks Even for tea and coffee you have to go to the bar Beach is more than a mile away

The property was absolutely gorgeous with incredible amenities and all inclusive. But the best part was the staff who were so kind, attentive, friendly, and courteous. They made us feel like friends.

Pros-location from airport, quality of pools and water slides as well as staff Cons- lack of vegetarian food options and those available are not clearly marked. Also only one main restaurant which an get very busy in the evenings.

Simply perfect!

Staff are brilliant. First time someone has actually got the Firestick working in the room when I’ve had a problem, although Wi-Fi in room is hot and miss but good in other area. Food is ok, but my omelette was an egg as they had run out of cheese ham mushrooms etc. shower is warm at best. Got the football on via bein sports at the bar. Shuttle bus to beach drops you at entrance of another charmillion hotel and then it’s about 300 metres to the beach where your AI is still valid. Good quality hotel where the staff are so attentive. Great aqua park slides for kids and adults. For £46 all inclusive a night single person it’s difficult to complain

Amaxing family hotel

Excellent hotel with brilliant waterpark that the kids loved. Evening entertainment was ok for kids. The staff were great especially the lifeguards who had a great rapport with thd kids. Food was good- plenty of choice and the kids enjoyed it. Our only downside was they were doing some work on the grounds just outside while we were there which meant i was woken early by the noise (7am) - however we were just unlucky with the timing of when we were there and they had to start early to beat the heat. Overall an excellent hotel and would return.

We have spent 13 days in Charmillions Aqua Park and we had such a good time Pros: - A lot of fun on the slide for adults and kids - Nice variety of food in the restaurant - The staff was nice and welcoming - Mini disco for kids and animation was great - Kids area and playground - Pool with wave was nice and never busy - A lot of different activities to do during the day you don’t get bored - The Spa was very good the massage was very nice and professional - Nice gym facility Cons: - The state of the bathroom not very clean - We needed to beg to get beach towel, they were not changed on daily basis as they said, - The cleaner putting pressure on us the do the room when we were still inside - The food got us sick 3 times in 13 days, we discussed this matter with the staff and guest and they all got sick at some point we believe from the chicken and fish and maybe some fruits - The hotel is far from everything so you need to get on a taxi to get there - Poor internet connexion

Kids Aqua Park excellent but room for improvement.

Positives kids loved Aqua Park although park pools close early at 5pm??. The resort staff are friendly and helpful. My room cleaner was excellent. Kids also loved the 9pm animation show. Negatives - with only one main restaurant it can become very full and chaotic resulting in big queues when waiting to be served at the food stations. The resort is definitely catered to one nationality and you will have communication issues if you only speak English as it is barely understood at this resort. Too much queue jumping at food stations which needs to be addressed by management. Food is reasonable but I was disappointed with the evening dinner as not much variety from day to day although the bbq chicken cooked outside by the chef is delicious so I mainly stuck with this. Snacks between lunch and dinner can be much better compared to other 5 star resorts in sharm el sheikh i have visited.

Food was disgusting all the meals there hotel is very old and not clean it makes you feel sick inside.

Hotel staff are very welcoming and provide excellent service. Food choices are very limited and lot of repititions of the menu and not always hot. Aqua park facilities are good for children and adults. Hotel is clean and tidy. Has access to beach via a hotel bus to another hotel in there chain 10 mins away

Hi Expedia, this is one of the worst hotels experience that you can offer. Staff extremely rude and they will try to charge extremely high rate and miss informe. I stayed 2 nights two nights for the COP27 event and last night I want to add a person to my roam ( wife) they wanted to charge 700usd extra for this, the amount extremely ridiculous!! But when register I ask for this information and said that is was okay and maybe without cost!!! Avoid this property.

The pools and water park are great. Terrible food, the level of cleanliness in the dining room is very low. We booked a vacation on an all-inclusive basis, but in fact the hotel asked for extra charge on basic things as well. Had a great stay with my family (Aug 2022). Hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful especially Antonyos Sedik. Hotel rooms are very spacious and cleaned very well everyday. Aqua is fabulous with many slides for all kids ages. Pools very clean and facilities are excellent. Spa and GYM are great. The only downside is 2 things: 1. No Wifi at all in rooms and facilities. 2. Restaurant is awful, food quality is very bad and the restaurant is NOT clean. I had an all inclusive package but could not eat at the restaurant. So you better go for bed and breakfast booking.

The only thing I like the staff all other things bad and the SPA is very bad and dirty the guest was terrible look like was there 1st time in the resorts and same food every day food was bad and low quality all over don’t waste your money with this resorts

Room is spacious and cleaned daily. Wifi is not existent which makes is hard to accommodate business while on vacation. Reception staff very helpful, housekeeping staff very friendly and bar staff is pretty much the best. Special note to Maged at the main bar, he goes above and beyond to accommodate customers needs, he works non stop. Also Atif at the beauty salon is very professional and does a good job. The kids loved the slides and water park, but strangely enough they close the water part at 4:30 PM!!!! Fall options are limited, repetitive, tasteless food.

Overall we had an amazing time! Hotel waiters, bar staff, life guards were amazing. Our reason for some of the low scores were due to the following. A 5 star hotel should have bath robes, wifi as a basic. It took 4 days before we were given robes. They offered wifi routers at an additional cost, this was a back and fourth journey to the reception as they couldnt make up there minds if there was a working router available, to add to it they wanted a seperate deposit for the charger wire. The hotel were not fumagating for mosquitos until we complained. Beauty and massage sales people were to pushy, if you said no you were met with a challenge 'why do you keep saying no' Not much choice for vegetarians, when we politely asked for more dishes they said eat potatoes and salad, really? Far from 5 star service. Outside of this great pools and slides and a good service from the bar staff.

Let me say that we visited this hotel right after it opened post covid A good choice if you have kids. Pools: You have one regular pool 80 and 160 cm 1 pool for kids 30 cm long with amazing aqua park games and slides but even adults enjoyed it with a few games even for small kids. Another pool with games and slides and floaters for adults that we enjoyed as well, and one small pool with artificial waves. Food: Out of a lot of hotels that I visisted I can say that the hotel is generous, at lunch everyday you would have an ice cream station and they made really nice cocktails that kids enjoyed. Let me tell you one big note about the food there is that they care about quantity more than quality, like at breakfast they would provide different cheese, a lot of pastries, proteins, sausage, they are just okay but low quality. Lunch and dinner were mostly good, with a pasta, sandwich, and other stations but again the cheese and luncheon used not the best quality( just okay) If you are a coffee lover then quality not satisfying we had to bring our own coffee. Snacks were always by the pool. What we really liked is how friendly and helpful all their staff was: no exception. Whenever we went everyone there doing their best and even going the extra mile just to help (even sometimes without having to) One major dissapointment about this visit is how loose they are with the some rules,a lot of people were in the pool with tbeir regular clothes, which made us uncomfortable.

We had a lovely holiday in Feb 2020.The Hotel was beautiful and looked after us very well. Kids loved the aqua park. Entertainers did their best to keep kids engaged.

Good except the non heated pools

Underwhelmed

I would say this is more of a 2.5-3 star resort. Contacted the hotel for an airport shuttle, and they wanted $70. It is only a five minute drive from the airport. We booked with another van company for half the price. The food was poor to mediocre. There was one waiter, Ahmed, who was amazing. He would always bring us our preferred drinks without us having to ask. While sitting by the pool, you are bombarded with excessively loud music. There was no non-smoking area by the pool. Cigarette smoke was everywhere. The staff/activity people are constantly trying to sell you trips/spa packages. We booked a shore dive scuba package which was over priced. The car that picked us up was horrible, no a/c, torn up seats, old. The trunk was full of scuba tanks, so all of our personal belongings were on our laps. I’m sure it was just the personal vehicle of one of the dive shop staff. The rental equipment worked, but had seen a better day. On the plus side, the dive guide/instructor was very good and they arranged for someone to watch our kids while we were diving (for an extra fee). The kids loved the pools and slides. I would give the room 2 stars. Only shampoo and body wash were provided, no conditioner or lotion. The cleaning crew did not provide extra toilet paper. 2 calls to the front desk and an hour later they gave us 1 roll. Beds were old not super comfortable. I’m glad we only booked 2 days and not a full week.

I like the view and the scenery of hotel. The best thing is I and my family love to play in aqua park we enjoy our stay there

Nice family hotel, the water park was great and outside facilities clean. The room was very spacious but not very clean. The food was mediocre and not very tasty. We do not recommend The Italian restaurant the food was the same has the buffet. The Indian restaurant was fantastic we could have eaten there all week. Staff was mostly very friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth. The kids club need better activities and staff that enjoy being with kids. This was not the case. All in all we had a pleasant stay at this hotel.

The one pool was nicely maintained and the water slides were fun, but there was no free wifi (I wound up paying 50 dollars renting a modem five times, the higher gig modems were never available). Eating seemed ok until sickness took over on day three. The all inclusive resort charged 50 pounds per heineken, and the ice in their complimentary beverages might have added to the severe stomach pains. If you don't eat or drink there you are just fine, the problem is that there is NOTHING close by unless you take one of their taxis..

Aqua Park very good. Staff and service very good. Airport transfer very good in modern vehicle. Free Wi-Fi only in the lobby lounge. Pool to small for number of guests after the aqua park close at 5pm. Meals: mass catering and canteen style. Room interior, Lobby, Wi-Fi lounge and sun loungers require major renovation and upgrade.

Horrible experience

This Resort is the worst I’ve ever seen, rooms were disgusting, staff are greedy/hustlers, my son had a rash from the sheets and from how disgusting the rooms were. I could not handle the dirtiness of the washrooms and beds. This hotel should be closed down due to hygiene purposes.

Average to disappointing

The reception staff were helpful, especially Mahmoud (shift leader). Most of the staff were very friendly and willing to please. The animation team were entertaining. It was annoying being constantly interrupted by people trying to sell their services, even while trying to relax at the pool side, people were continuously approaching us to sell tours and spa services, etc. The rooms are in need of a face-lift. The food was the most disappointing part of our stay. My 8 year old got a bad tummy. The food was tasteless, not many options were available on the buffet, and the hotel is located some distance away making accessibility to alternative restaurants difficult. The hotel advertises a "private beach", but it is not actually on the beach. You have to take a shuttle (which runs once every hour) from the hotel to their sister hotel, and then it's quite a walk down to the beach once you get there, especially if you have strollers and little children. Do your homework around taxi prices before agreeing to the rate quoted by the hotel affiliated taxi services. No free wifi in the rooms.

Exceptional hotel

Very nice hotel. Aqua park is amazing for kids of all different ages. My boys aged 7 and 5 wouldn't come out. Thanks to Mr. Mohammed in the reception for upgrading our room in order to be close to the rest of our group. Variety of food and animation team is the best I have ever seen and they speak lots of languages.

All inclusive holiday

we went for a week and I think thats more than sufficient. good for kids. I must say italian an dindian restaurants are there only for name sake but main restaurant serves everything. They are not authentic. Again had slight problem with air conditioning but management failed to repair. we were able to manage. Over all a good holiday. towards the end food got a bit monotonous. BE WARE lots of hassle in markets and booking tours even at the hotel.

Christmas time vacation

My family went for a Christmas getaway. It was a very nice way to spend the holiday It was decorated very nicely. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We paid for an all inclusive meal plan, and the food was always fresh and hot. There was always something on the grill cooking for dinner, and there was a lot of variety. The water park was open, but it was very cold. We still used it for about half an hour per day for the kids to have fun. I loved that there are 2 separate areas to the water park. One for smaller children, and one for older children and adults. There is a small play area for kids to play outdoors and indoors. My only complaint is that the internet and phone services are not included. Also, it is advertised that there is a washer/dryer, but there is not. You can send your laundry out through housekeeping, but it is quite expensive. There are shops, a spa, a pharmacy, and a medical clinic at the resort. There are also companies on site to book outings, if you like. Overall, we had a fantastic time! If we are ever back in Sharm El Sheikh, we would stay there again (maybe in warmer weather).

not much food for vegetarian or vegan People. they dont sign out exactly what there is for food for example. thre was spinach but with meat inside and you couldnt see it , only when you eat it and thats not nice. Salad is with cheese or fish or meat, its not really veganfriendly.The coffee is very bad. normaly in egyp you get nice turkish coffee but this coffee is just sour

Très bon moment passe au charmillion! Leur anglais est assez approximatif et ils ne parlent pas français mais on fini par s’en sortir!

Tam bir aile oteli ama plaj yok

3 çocuklu bir aile olarak konakladık, çok iyi bir aquapark, temiz bir ortam ve gerçekten iyi bir otel. Sahil plajı yok, dolayısıyla günlük dalış yapma imkanı kardeş otele yapılan shuttle bus ile oluyor.

A mio avviso tutto eccellente, ma con qualche piccola negatività. I pasti sono buoni ma poco variabili, e la presenza eccessiva di mosche e soprattutto zanzare,in tutti i luoghi, interni ed esterni,è molto fastidiosa.
