Worse experience!
Relatively small room. Smaller then expected but not an issue as I am out most of the time. Only that the AC issue and room not cold even blasting full fan mode @ 16 deg cel.
This hotel reflects “the cheaper, the worse” All in all I’m satisfied because it’s cheap. In terms of hygiene, bad.
Good location for everything
The staff are nice
Located at the heart of the Bukit Bintang area, very convenient.
The hotel is cozy and quaint. Booked the single room but got an upgrade for the standard room which was super comfortable. Had three friends over and it didn't feel cramped at all. The staff are also very nice and hospitable. It's also super close to the Bukit Bintang MRT station which makes travelling so easy. Will definitely stay at Chaos hotel again!
Good location and easy access
Friendly and helpful staff. Location very good, near major shopping centre and transportation - MRT/LRT just 3 mins walk from hotel.
Location,Value and Decent
Superb location. Value for money . Decent stay and rest.
Very strategic location but the room was very tiny and filty dirty
Super good location! Staff was very friendly and helpful!!! Although the room is quite small, but then the room is super clean and affordable price! Will come back again!
Sheets and pillows have blood stains on them. Only noticed it in the evening around 7-8pm due to late check in and requested for change of sheets / pillows but was told that the housekeeping has gone home. They allowed a room change but the new room's towels were dirty and pillow still has some stains.
sound
only con: room arent soundproof
modern design, but the room abit tiny.,best loaction.
The design of the property is cool, but the fotos on the website misleading .... our room was actually quite tiny!! And not what we expected from the fotos. There was hardly any room to move in the bathroom or set out toiletries which made it inconvenient. In addition, the bathroom was not kept clean very well and we had a very slow shower drain which caused the water to overflow all over the floor. The shower cubicle walls were mouldy and dirty and when we asked for this to be addressed and to be provided with two extra towels ... it was not and it made the whole experience quite yucky!!! There is an all night club nearby and unfortunately the room was not well sound insulated, which meant we were constantly woken up during the night. Shame ... with a little extra effort on representing the hotel room more realistically and in room service/cleanliness we could have had a far better stay and given a better review. Other than that great location and design, that would have more than made up for the small room and noise (if the room and bathroom were clean to an acceptable standard).
Good Location & Value for Money
Great!! good location for shopping and eating.
its a convenient location, walking distance to all the malls at bukit bintang, and 5mins walk to the monorail station. lots of food around, walking distance (abt 10-15mins leisure walk) to jalan alor. my room was the single room at the end lot next to the emergency exit and the only complain I have is the sound proofing, I could hear the music thumping away from the neighbouring club. It was still a good stay I'd say, clean and comfortable bedding and great water pressure too.
very good location, fast check in and out, the room is small but well equipped, noisy sometimes
Adequate Stay in KL
It was an adequate hotel for our stay in KL. It was in a nice area of the city. The room was small and dark. There was some noise, (maybe a karaoke place) that occurred from 10pm until 6am both nights we were there.
Hotel with a good location
A very pleasant stay indeed. However if you prefer to have windows in your room, this hotel is definitely not recommended. I didn't mind windowless. Everything is perfect – strong wifi and availability of necessity. Shower head didn't have strong water power, which is a pity.
Ok hotel
Small room but clean. Hotel is located in the alley can be tricky to find
Unbeatable Price for its value.
Hotel is well kept. Had a room on the highest floor. Although in the city you cannot feel the noise level that is generated from the main road - Bukit Bintang. Very conveniently sited for superb shopping and eateries around. Certainly valuable for money and will consider returning for more nights.
cockroach friend
3rd time stay in chaos hotel . first time was good . 2nd time found small cockroach friend . 3rd time was scary ... big cockroach appear out of nowhere . not sure will visit next time or not . u got almost everything there but cockroach spoils everything .
Average Stay
Located at the center of city, easy for shopping. No parking space at the hotel, has to park overnight at Fahrenhiet Shopping Center. Our room was at ground level near the hotel lobby and next to store rooms, was rather noisy in the morning with music playing loudly and slamming of doors. Dustbin wasn't provided even upon request.
Good Location. Avoid the Third Floor!
The first room I was given was on the third floor. When I went to sleep that night the sound of a nightclub next door could be heard clearly through the wall, and the music actually shook the bed/walls. I figured it would end soon, as it was already nearly midnight. It did not end until 5am and so I did not sleep. When I told the front desk, they admitted it happens on the entire third floor but said some people don't care. Well, they should ask whether you are a light sleeper or simply don't want to hear music all night before booking you on that floor. I had meetings the next day and it was a struggle without sleep. The hotel did move me to the sixth floor the second night and I slept well -- no noise, and a bigger room. That's also something to note. The single room is incredibly tiny, which wouldn't be a problem if it were set up better and had the amenities specified. For instance, no safe (the hotel did provide a moveable one when I inquired). The bed is crammed between two walls, so if you're tall your feet will touch one. And the mini bar does not include a fridge. There is also no shower separator so you will have a wet floor when you take a shower. It's not terrible, but considering how easy it would be to put up a curtain or half-glass wall it's bothersome. Also, absolutely no counter space in bathrooms -- not even a place to put hand soap. The twin room is much better -- it has a safe, fridge, and more space to move.
convenient
convenient near to major malls, restaurants and monorail good budget hotel cons- can hear karaoke noises even at midnight.
Good location
Good location, in the middle of the shopping centre area
good value hotel - great position for shops
right in the middle of the most buy shopping area in town; close to lots of great places to eat
Good Value for Money for a city stay
My room with windows was comfortable and very clean, equipped with basic amenities. Very good value for money given its location in the city centre. You can walk to KLCC via a covered walkway in about 20 min. Service staff were friendly and very helpful. Room size is small, but the bathroom has comfortable space. There is no work desk provided in the room, apart from the dresser table. Wifi is provided free. More suited for the casual travellers than business travellers. Plenty of food choices in the nearby shopping malls.
Very convenient
These hotel nearby pavilion and a lot of shop and food court
Convenient Hotel
Overall good experience. The only problem i got was the room cleanliness, the cleaning was not detail enough, i found dirt in the area for luggage under the bag, and the area under table. The safe was locked before i enter the room, so cannot use.
Worth to stay
Great location. The staffs were helpful & friendly. Small room but nicely decorated and comfortable. Will come back for sure.
Convenient & location wise for shopping
Nice location & best value for money as a budget hotel
Smaller rooms but great value for money
Newish hotel - a bit hard to locate, but in fact very central to the coolest (ie most trendy) part of the city
Small and compact hotel, bit noisy.
Room was okay overall, room is small but compact, private bathroom is a plus. The lighting in the room was too dim. Sound insulation is poor and please take note that the building is 2 block away from a nightclub, so it can be disturbing even you are on higher floor (5th for me).
what you pay is what you get
this hotel has diff rooms, i selected the cheapest one and it was one room very small and with no windows. For a solo traveler that wanted to use hotel only for land after sightseeing is Ok that room, if you want something else, you need to pay for a larger room in the same hotel, location is great if you want to stay close to business and stores area.
Good location
Good location but poor basin and water pipe design. Room is too dark, need to improve lighting.
Disappointed !
Very disappointed with the condition of the hotel room and neighbourhood. There are cockroaches running around in the room, and the noise of the night club nearby disturbed my sleep throughout the night. The noise only stopped around 5am in the morning. The lighting is totally not adequate while the ceiling, walls and floor are dark in colour scheme.
close to the centre of KL
no entertainment not enough hotel facilities no hair dryer in room weak air conditioner convenient transportation
Great location, tiny room
I booked the single room and it didn't come with a window. I generally do not mind room without windows as there is less chance of road noise. However, there is a shop at the adjacent mall undergoing renovation and the drilling and knocking starts at 8.30am daily and doesn't stop until about 7.30pm. That's ok, unless you want to sleep in. Location-wise, the hotel is smack in the middle of the shopping area so it's really convenient for shoppers.
I really liked this hotel, but it's definitely not
Pros: * Superb location * Especially comfortable bed (for SE Asia) * Fairly modern furnishings * Pleasant staff Cons: * Noise. Thin walls between rooms. (Seems to be common failing among 3-star hotels in this region.); As others have mentioned, there's a loud club next door. I don't think they're renting rooms against that entire side of the building anymore. You can still hear it from the far-side rooms, but I had no problem sleeping through it. * Cramped/small. Cozy for 1 person, likely irritating for a couple. Misc Tips: * Bring power splitter, didn't have many plugs * If the bathroom smells swampy, ask them to turn on the fan. (Switch is in the hallway.) Normally they operate it regularly but forgot once and it got stinky.
convenient and affordable
great
Clean, Comfort & Friendly Staff.
All are fine, including the reception service, except that some rooms setting are constrained by floor area and the TV set is small, has very limited moves & cable channels to view. Please upgrade your TV set and subscribe for more cable channels, not all your customers are sleeping in your rooms all day long.
Great hotel at perfect location
I had only one night stay in Chaos Hotel. The location is perfect, just of Jalan Bukit Bintang. Yet the room was comfortable and quiet, though a bit small. The shower is just fantastic. Having teh tarek instead of tea bags is a nice touch. Note: you need to pay RM50 deposit to have access to room safe, which is a bit odd.
the hotel is almost imposible to find..The address number is not in that street and nobody knows about the hotel..make sure you have the right instruction to get there before
"Will definitely stay there again"
Working holiday ! Managed to move around on monorail, onwards to rapid , commuter & KLIA airport express trains easily. Great location!
Premium choice
Great and affordable
Not for fussy people
It was a pleasant stay for two nights. Room was quite small but 'twas alright for two person. Location is great. Checking in and out was fast. Additional charge for extra key card. Friendly staff. Will def stay here again.
Great hotel and location
Our stay was great.. Staff are friendly and helpful.. Good location and walking distance to shopping complexes especially to pavillion, fahrenheit and starhill.. Even though the rooms are small but it was comfy and condusive
