A great hotel to stay at in Vancouver - everything was close the rooms were spacious the views great
Heart of the City, great for a city staay
Great place in heard of city, between Davie and Robson. Room was great and we have no complaints.
Location is very good, lobby is nice and modern, rooms need to be updated, from furniture to kitchen appliances to floors. First room we checked into was smelling like bugs sprayed and the shower was changing from cold water to very hot, so we had to ask the reception to change the room, in which it had no smell but the same dated furniture and appliances. Location is wonderful, but the sirens at night made the sleep very uncomfortable, we found out there is a hospital next to the hotel.
Excellent location to able us to attend my Mother's medical appointments at St. Paul's. We were thrilled with the room upgrade lots of room for us all. Hotel is well cared for as we know its an old timer. Staff were kind and friendly. Pasta we ordered from room service was very good. Staff were so helpful with my aging mother. We will stay again if we have any other early morning appointments at the hospital.
If you require good sleep or maximum comfort, you must consider this hotel carefully, their rooms have no soundproof windows at all. Since this hotel is located in downtown area, sirens are all over the streets. My room was on 25/F and all windows were all closed, but sirens were really really loud even those police vehicles or ambulances were like 10 blocks away, it actually is my worst sleep ever during traveling in my life. If you are long haul travellers, definitely it's not helping for jet-lag. The room is big, but the wifi signal coverage is very weak, the wifi cannot reach the devices when I was in bedroom or bathroom, so if you are business travellers and require internet for online meetings, you may really think about it. The hotel only provide 2 bottles of water at all while my stay was 4 nights, when I requested extra, they charged, I am not sure if this is whether environmental policy to restrict or what, but you the room rate is at certain level but I was surprised it cannot cover a few more bottles (like 2 bottle each day). I rarely make a written review, but honsetly, I didn't enjoy my stay very much this time.
Close proximity to St. Paul's Hospital.
Couple of fun days
A couple of days spent here after a cruise before heading home. Nicely placed in cbd area with easy walking to many features, also out the front is a stop for the HOHF bus, very convenient. Rooms are a little tired, however neat and comfortable but be prepared for road noise/sirens all night as glass obviously not double glazzed.
Location
Lots of sirens due to Hospital next door
Very good location
Good location, clean, friendly.
The hotel is adjacent to a St. Paul,s Hospital with ambulances/sirens going all hours.
Hotel was quite dirty and unkept for $450 a night. Parking garage with homeless, and tents right outside the hotel. Wouldn’t stay again for the money
It's 3 stars, no more, no less.
Huge room with balcony overlooking all of downtown
Hotel is a little dated but good sized rooms and friendly staff more than make up for it. Good location. Would stay again.
They allowed early checking-in. Staffs are nice. Parking lot is easy to access and safe.
Staff was not very friendly compared to other places I have stayed
Room clean. Parking included in rate. Convenient location. Served my needs. Would stay again.
Room was warm, but staff brought fans. Very accommodating.
Staff where very helpful, as I was there for medical apts at the hospital next door, room accommodation changes was great. They changed me from a room in front of the elevator to another better located one so I could rest. I had a package sent to the hotel and they held it for me till I could grab it. Super friendly staff and restaurant was great with good food and service.
Excellent stay
Two night stay for medical procedure next door at St Pauls Hospital. Perfect location. Only double beds but very comfortable. Small fridge, coffee maker, kettle available. No kitche/bar sink nearby though. We used our bottled water for the kettle. Your only other choice was to use the bathroom sink. The Prime Restaurant for breakfast was very good and service terrific. Good parking.
Access to St.Paul’s. Otherwise clean roomy good location wonderful staff
In a good area in downtown. Lots of restaurants around. A grocery store within walking distance.
Room service staff were great! Delivered a menu as well as prompt courteous service post order. Clean hotel with great views (we were on 30th floor). Highly recommended and very convenient to St. Paul's for visits etc. I believe they have deals for extended hospital stays.
I will recommend this place to my friends
Good value for the cost compared to more expensive hotels
Eve
Everything was amazing, the only downfall was it is right beside the hospital and we heard sirens all night, the windows are not soundproof in the slightest.
Definitely not quiet because of the hospital next door - many sirens often. Rooms are a bit outdated but seem to have been maintained and are perfectly serviceable. Location is very convenient to many amenities.
The staff very attentive and are there to answer questions and assists you. The location is very good.
Lovely staff and facilities and a great cafe downstairs too. Close to so many things including transport if necessary.
Goo hotel and great staff
Very friendly staff. Big room. The small kitchen was good equipped.
Rooms were spacious and staff was great
Spacious room with a small kitchen and all the essential kitchen equipment. We had a great stay there
Nice place
Great location Bus station in front iga a few block away staff very friendly
There was a link available for
The view of the bay was lovely. Lots of traffic noise. A weird step down into the bathroom - seems like a tripping hazard to me. Carpets in the hallway are worn and some of the paint in the suite was chipping - not a big deal but suggests a need for maintenance/renovation?
Good location for BC Place Event
Hotel was in good condition, 20 minute walk to BC Place, very convenient
The rooms are clean and safe For our pet dog. Plus the bed is just right for me but not for my friend. She needs a little softer mattress for she woken up with a sore back from a to firm of a bed. The entertainment (tv) is fare no movie channels available that has no commercials in it. The staff are the greatest at the main desk and the floor workers are very polite and courteous.
Quiet and clean. Proximity to everything downtown was great. All staff were friendly nd courteous!
Perfect
Close to everything, clean
This is our go to hotel for Vancouver. It's clean, comfortable, and we like having a kitchen, as well as the convenient parkade attached to the hotel. It's not a luxury property, but it works perfectly for our needs.
My only complaint was the shower was outdated, and too small. Beds are very firm
Walking distance to a few grocery stores and many places to eat. Walking distance to Sunset Beach. The room was clean and felt spacious with 2 beds, a couch with coffee table, and private bathroom. There was also a fridge, microwave, coffee maker with included coffee, microwave, kettle with included Red Rose teabag. There was also a safe in the closet. It was nice that the windows could be opened a tad to get some fresh air in. They offered a green initiative where you get a $10 voucher to the coffee shop downstairs, or you could donate the $10 and the hotel will double it, if you choose to decline service to get fresh linens and your garbage will not be emptied. Would stay there again.
What is unique is the kitchen. A little bit noisy but i still give this property 5 star.
The kitchenette was a great feature. Grocery store only 2 blocks away. Great views . Walkable to many locations I wanted to visit
Everything good n clean
Location is great, bit noisy given that its next door to the hospital.
Slightly sketchy around the neighboring hospital but never felt unsafe. Nice walkable downtown with plenty on offer.
Stayed on the 29th, big room, great view and an awesome balcony. Great amenities inside of the room aswell. Well kept, clean, convenient location. It was a 400 meter walk to the concert we went to! Great place to stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice suite without a hefty price tag.
When i reserved i saw breakfast included, the hotel offered me 25$ voucher, it was funny because the restaurant was super expensive so with the voucher you can eat half breakfast. The pool was super cold . Staff were nice except the lady in the resturant was aggressive
3 days stay.
The location is very close to restaurants and to main attractions. The room was spacious, clean and has a great view. The main issue was the air-conditioner. It was on for about 3 hours already before you can feel cool air if you're standing in front of it. We called a staff to check and the staff was very nice and said that it takes time for it to cool down the room since the room gets a lot of sunshine during the day. We woke up at 4am sweating. The other bed that was far from the unit does not get any cool air at all. We were there for 3 days and the room temperature only reached 77°F. Our room was cleaned but shampoo and body wash were not replenished, but the service was very nice when we requested. The pool water was also colder than usual. My nephew was so excited to swim but he only stayed by the pool stairs for few minutes and di not swim. But overall, it was a nice stay.
Upgraded room to suite
It was a great experience
Great property
Great place to stay. The room was excellent. Would stay again
It was easy to use the elevator from floor to floor with out any other people loading in fast enough to get to anywhere in town plus the price is fare.
We enjoyed our stay at the Century Plaza. It was spacious, had an amazing view, and was surprisingly economical for us visiting Americans. The staff was excellent, and the in-house restaurant was top notch. Although it's a bit of a far walk to places like the skytrain, it's doable for those in reasonably good health. We appreciated that it was quite close to an urban grocery store and other local amenities. The parking was much appreciated in central Vancouver. We'd stay there again for sure.
Great price for what you get. Highly recommend
I like the professionalism and customer service. I will be back.
.
Location was close walking distance to restaurants and businesses..
Excellent stay. Right downtown and it was decently affordable. Parking was included in my package and the staff was incredibly nice. They helped with a few things we needed. The stay was effortless and enjoyable!
The hotel staff were very nice and friendly! They made the experience so much better. If we asked for anything they were at the door in minutes! The room was not clearly advertised on expedia, unfortunately. It was advertised as sleeping for 3. There were not enough beds for it to sleep 3. There was just a king bed in the "bedroom" and a couch. We made it work and made the couch our daughters bed. The hospital next door is incredibly busy, sirens day and night along with a lot of homeless around. The hotel is centrally located and has a lot to do around it but unfortunately not much to do in the hotel. The pool was freezing and then closed for maintenance after the 1st day of our stay which was a huge bummer for our daughter and part of the reason for selecting this hotel. Overall, the hotel was nice and secure but we probably won't be staying here again.
Great value, falling short in some areas
Pros: + comfortable room + great view from the 26th floor + friendly staff + great location + the cafe and restaurant on the main floor were good + free secure parking included Cons: - pool was closed for most of our stay - areas of the hotel were outdated - room's kitchenette(?) was outdated and didn't offer great amenities - bathroom did not have a fan and hot water came slowly Conclusion: I would stay again, especially for shorter stays. Great value for the location and what is on offer.
The room was very nice and clean
The beds were too firm, the pillows overstuffed and the shower didn’t drain so you stood in water. The rest of our stay was fine and the staff were excellent. Too bad many of the most important things for me were not to my liking
This hotel has a great location and i walked just about everywhere I wanted to go. I got a fantastic corner room with a balcony overlooking a tree-filled plaza that was charmingly lit at night and the bay on the other side. The room was very clean and felt homey, I loved the little kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t want to leave. 10/10 would stay again.
This was the BEST hotel I've ever stayed in my trips to Vancouver! I stayed here for 5 nights. I was really surprised how my room had a kitchen that's fully equipped with utensils, cups, plates, bowls, etc., a microwave, Nespresso machine, a sink, a refridgerator, stove and oven. The room was exactly as it was described and shown when I first booked it, and I'm very impressed with it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a big shoutout to the maid service as I was impressed at how fast they made up my room, and did an above and beyond job! They were awesome! Most of all, the room was very clean and comfortable, especially on those rainy days when I stayed indoors for a day. Most definitely would stay here again and highly recommend!
Friendly courteous staff
Perfect location for our stay. Older building but completely updated room. Nice view. Appreciated the Expedia extras.
Location
While the washrooms were a little dated, the room was very clean and spacious with awesome city views. An easy walk to the convention center and the waterfront. Would stay here again on our next trip
Great location. Walking distance from shops, grocery, restaurants.
Spacious with one bedroom unit
Y
Great property with large rooms and friendly staff. Excellent cafe for morning latte and treats.
Always a fantastic stay!
The hotel room is spacious. We had a suite with 2 double beds in one room and a living room/kitchen in the other. As one of the cheaper downtown hotels, I thought it was great value for the money. Parking was free and simple. The hotel has probably seen better days; everything is a little old and run-down. To get to the pool, you have to go through a maze of semi-finished basement renovations. The room has not had an update in decades, but other than a slightly dodgy shower, it’s doesn’t affect its comfort or function. The location is conveniently equidistant from a lot of good areas: 5 min walk to David St, 5 min to Robson shopping, and ~15 min to West End and Stanley Park, but it’s on a boring street, which is probably good for noise. It was very quiet.
Overall it was a good stay. We didn’t spend much time there other than to sleep. We got an upgrade when we arrived which was a lovely surprise! The beds were SO HARD! The pool was pretty dingy so that was unfortunate because it was going to be a nice way to unwind end of day. We ended up not using it at all. The room was decent and nice to have a kitchen. The windows need replacing! The street noise was so loud it felt like they were open. Luckily we were tired enough to sleep through most of it
This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. We stay in the 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. It was spacious and perfect for our stay. Onsite gated parking and the coffee shop is also a plus. We had a great stay and will stay again. Good value for the price
It was great, right next to the hospital. Walking distance to downtown and Canada place.
Very solid accomodations and great staff in Vancouver. Also a great value if you need a kitchenette, etc. It is an older building with smaller elevators, etc. in a busy, noisy part of the city. That said the location and parking were great for us to hit a lot of tourist sites. Also the pool in the basement was great for the kids.
Great views of the city. Comfortable.
Really nice hotel, really clean and quiet, great service. Walking distance from everything worth visiting (i.e. English Bay, Gastown, Canada Place, etc.), and easy to take the bus (just in front). The only little thing: the pool is a bit of a deception (small and a bit cold) and no hot tub. Definitely recommanding this hotel, as it it a good price vs quality.
What I loved about this property was that our suit was excellent accommodations for our family and parking was amazing. Shopping was accessible by foot and a store for groceries too. So many yummy options including the hotel C-Prime restaurant and knowledgeable staff about menu options. Since we were on vacation we used the swimming pool too. Lots to love, only complaint were the bed was too hard for my husband and only two sets of towels, once we asked for more it was t a problem.
The location is good, and there is free parking, which is very convenient. The service of the front desk and housekeeping is very good, only the kitchen sink is not very smooth and the water flows very slowly , everything else is good.
Good place to stay, will stay again.
Everything is very good But little noisy I think near the hospital Ambulance 🚑 to much noise…! Every thing is very good 👍
Convenient location for what needed to do
Every thing is good
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel …. Only thing I would suggest is that the showers with only half doors …. Have full doors as need towels to wipe the floor after shower
Fabulous and comfortable
I get hotel anxiety and felt completely comfortable and was able to sleep comfortably. The secured parking was a hugely appreciated. The child loved the pool

Ice cold no pressure shower in the morning.Ruined my day. Unacceptable from a $400.00 room. Piss poor. I only got offered free parking. Lousy front desk and will never stay or recommend
