Was perfect for transit stop for few hours rest. They also have an airport shuttle every hour.

They give us smoking room and I chose non smoking room and floor with room was bad smell. Yesterday the alarm was annoying and they said it was from the next room because they are smoking. Smoking is allowed on the floor. How does happen? unacceptable excuse. I can’t sleep all night 😡😡👎👎

Very walkable, and close to downtown

I booked this hotel for eight nights and i had to cancel after staying there for 2 nights and they charged me for 4 nights for some reason i really didn’t care I just wanted to get out of there ASAP plus the staff doesn’t speak English very well so its hard to communicate with them

The check in was terrible they could find only one room ..it took more than half an hour

The overall rate of this property is 4/10 Its very old building and needs to be renovated Dirty finishing specially the bathrooms Needs more attention on the room services.

BEST HOTEL EVER

We had an amazing Stay with my family we extend our stay for 3 weeks great staff, great steam room, great jacuzzi also and Mrs. Fibbie at reception is very amazing we are coming back to the hotel after having left for 7 days only

Centrally located to Museums and Markets. Pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms with comfy beds etc. Modest tariff. Would book again.

I've stayed here many times, best value in the area. Central enough to city and airport.

Property was good for a short stay. Breakfast options for $55 QAR is not good. The wifi is terrible. But other than than the staff where lovely, and the hotel itself is located in a great spot for a walk to some of Qatar's landmarks.

Good location for metro and National Museum. Clean tidy rooms.Bottled water, tea and coffee much appreciated. Shower gel was empty and not refilled when asked.Shampoo kept falling off wall and not repaired when asked. Phone line to hotel was always engaged when I tried to phone from UK. Otherwise staff very attentive when needed for towels or toilet rolls.

Also they were able to accommodate my early check in with no extra charge . Great, professional and helpful staff.

Booked a Suite for my family but found only one king size bed. While booking the photo showed two beds, 1 king and 1 Queen. Requested for additional bed, got one but that was too old mattress and honestly had to spend a night uncomfortable.

Convenient location - right across from the National Museum. The museum of Islamic Arts and the souk are also within walking distance

Very friendly staff. Very nice hotel, nice room, great pool and hot tub, very good breakfast, etc. located 3 minutes walk from the National Museum of Qatar as well as the Subway which cost per day 6 riyals (or $1.5) and is very luxurious, safe, fast, going to many destinations.

Service

The rooms were not clean, housekeeping only came in every two or three days, no changing of bed linen and towels, air conditioner was not working and more over there were bed bugs, even though we changed rooms multiple times. Won’t recommend to anyone and won’t stay here again

Nice hotel in a great location

Stayed for couple of days. The lobby was great. The room is cozy and clean. The staff were quite helpful. It is located very close to major places like NMoQ, MIA, Souq, metro station etc.

Overall got looked after by Ibrahim and the rest of the staff - good facilities

Great value for money here.. i took a room with a wonderful view. The staff were polite and friendly.. I recommend this place for any type of travellers. Great central location too..

Nice place for a short stay

Nice place for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are 2 restaurants and a cafe in the lobby. The food was good although service in the asian restaurant was very poor. The airport shuttle was $20 and took 15 minutes. The room was nice with a tub and a shower. The light switches were very confusing. Didn't have time to really check out the area but the Qatar museum is across the street and the waterfront promenade is very close. You can walk all the way to the main city area.

After showering water ran from undèr the shower door and just lingered around had to constantly use the towels to removevthe standing water from the floor. Employees were not friendly at all. They stare at you as if you dont belong there, and they steal.

Good amenities, friendly staff. However housekeeping removed our towels and would only give us 2 out of the five they removed and said that was all we could have, even though the room came with 5 towels (2 bath, 2 hand, 1 floor towel). There were two of us in the room.

Stay was excellent. Hotel Rooms are good and clean, except breakfast buffet which has very options.

The Jacuzzi and steam room in the spa were a nice end to the day.

I really likes the comfy bad and clean bath tub. But the dryer didn't work..I was just too lazy to ask, but as their service was good I think they would bring new one for me.

It was good overall; an issue with plug points,..not in the right places. Oh,..and otherwise, their light switches are too techy and confusing, so they ended up not doing the room because there's a red light on the floor which means do not do room ! Who knew ! Probably worth explaining the system when guests check in. Otherwise great, and nice Kadak tea in the evenings !

Amazing hotel. Reception staff awesome, spoke great English. Lovely room, great facilities, large sized room. Didn't try the food, but many options near.

Conveniently located

Tranquility is here

It was my second time in this property and it was amazing! Room service surprised me!! Club sandwich was delicious and they offer me green salad and I didn’t regret about that. Very comfortable bed, I slept so nice. Thanks for Reception team, check-in was really fast. Thanks again

Construction next door and when checking out no one came for my luggage

I had a long layover in Qatar. This hotel was about 20 minutes (~15USD$) from airport. It was a good fit for what I needed: clean and quiet room, hot shower, comfortable bed.

Close to all major tourism site's, food is expensive, transport lack UK and US standards. HOTEL breakfasts service is good.

Nice hotel in a so-so area.

Hotel was quite pleasant with friendly staff and nice room. But neighborhood was shabby with no attractive stores or restaurants. Walkable to Islamic Art Museum and souks. Hotel restaurant was OK. Qatar History Museum under construction close-by will be a big draw when it opens.

Overall, the stay was OK from how it started. I had booked a sea view but they kept putting me in a room with a wall view of the next building. I looked at 3 different rooms then told the front counter attendant I booked a sea view and said this was all we have. I wrote a review on my check in and by the morning I received a email from the GM Mr. Maroun that it would check and get it resolved. I received a call that morning they had the correct room for me now. Up to that point I was not happy, but once I talked to the super friendly staff the next morning (Lailane I think is her name) everything what great. My room was nice and now my view was great. The only other thing is location, most taxi drivers don't know exactly where its located. Again thanks to the two people I mentioned which made my stay better.

Great Value for a sleep bewteen connecting flights

At the rate paid one got more than should be expected. It is closer to the airport than most other hotels in Doha which is why I chose this property for short sleep between connecting flights. No airport shuttle so the taxi there and back equalled what I paid for the night. The suggested public bus does not run from 23:45 till the morning so not an option. Pillows are those lumpy foam type otherwise a comfortable room. A good 3 star in my opinion. Again - the rate was amazing and at this rate I would stay again between flights but probably not my preference for a couple of days or more in Doha itself. Be warned thought, there is a Centro hotel and my taxi driver did not know the Century Hotel but knew the Centro hotel so took me there to start with thinking it was the one I wanted. That was about twice the distance from the airport. So be clearer than I was!!

Excellent hotel with scenic views & within easy walking distance of the Corniche, MIA & souf watif. Good facilities, lovely food, modern decor & friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

Perfect stay for our Doha layover

We had an amazing stay at Century Hotel. The room was very clean and the price was of good value. Furthermore most of the city attractions were just 5-10 mins Uber ride from this hotel. Definitely going to stay here again the next time we are in Doha!
