scammed
needed change for the laundry machines , after asking ronnie she said she has no loonies and left me feeling dismissed evem asking her to help with the room she siad when she has time. but didnt show any effort furthermore. just felt like everything i needed was left with me trying more than i should. im a respectful young man too. maybe because im native.
Layover from long drive
Just needed a place to sleep
I didn’t stay I have a lot of tool and don’t want to risk them being stolen
.
This property is listed on Expedia as “a hotel in Lloydminster with a casino”. There is a casino in Lloydminster, but this hotel is not attached to it so therefore this is false advertising. There are simply VLT‘s inside the lounge, but it is not a casino. Furthermore, the casino in Lloydminster does not have a hotel.
Upgrades are required
when you call they will just hang up the phone you cannot see actual entrance of hotel uts either you go to the pub or liquor store
I didn’t like them charging my crdit card without consent. Not even the right one. Didnt like how rude front desk staff are
ok place, bad area. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. The area is super shady, and I had to bring all my tools up 3 floors (no elevator) to prevent theft. Would not stay there again.
Walked in and walked out. There was no way I was sleeping there. I didn’t even want to set my stuff down.
The only advantage to this property was the short distance to a sporting venue I needed to get to often. This hotel is overpriced, no elevator, room carpet is old & dirty. Would not recommend, would not stay there again.
Booked room with queen bed got a double, the floor room stairs all the way had to go to the bar to get someone to check us in. Not a nice area in town
Bugs in the a/c, old dirty carpet. Downtown, not a safe location. Refused refund, I was in the room for 5 mins.
We’re not told there was no elevator and we were put on the third floor 77 years old with a bad knee. Still charged for our room after not staying!
Go anywhere else
I've never seen a smaller hotel room, and yet they call it a suite. I guess because the room had a 2 burner/sink/mini fridge concoction, they can call it a suite. My plans had changed and I needed to check out 2 days earlier than my reservation ended. Even though I checked out before 11am they made me pay for additional night.
If you gotta get up early the next day or just value your sleep, save your sanity and book elsewhere. Music vibrating the walls until 2am from the pub downstairs, could hear every footstep and voices until 3am when I finally passed out. Very old building. Strange smells in room. Stiflingly hot in room, AC/fan unit did not work. Poor neighborhood. Front desk locked up. Just avoid.
It was okay. No elevator. Staff moved by belongings. Tangling up my yarn
Did not get the room I had reserved, Promised by the time i came in the 2nd night it would be fixed. It was not. I eventually got moved to a different room but it weas still not the Kitchenette room I reserved. The lady did comp me a free meal in the restaurant but the overall communication and and ability to give you what you booked seems very difficult for them. Not a bad hotel as far as cheaper hotels go but do not expect to get what you reserved.
Only one TV channel worked. The plug in the bathroom didn’t work. They advertised free breakfast which only consisted of a few oranges and a few muffins and coffee.
Was great
Very clean, kitchenette was perfect! Great place to stay. Occasional riff raff in area
Beds are really hard.
It is a very much older hotel, but was very clean. I got there really late so I had to wait while the manager finished up in the bar and then served off sale to the customers. Was very comfortable.
To check in we had to go to the Bar and find someone to check us in. They checked us in at their Off-Sale counter. It was a 3 storey walkup to our rooms. The bedding was stained. Their website claimed large "Soaker Tubs" in the rooms. We found a very small shower when we arrived. The staff was rude. They insisted on ID from each of us as well as a $400.⁰⁰ deposit for the night. There were what appeared to be homeless people congregated around the outside of the establishment. It had the real feel of an hourly place, not somewhere for a family to stay while traveling. Worst place I've ever considered spending a night!
Ok
Liked the kitchen
Pleasantly surprised
I was actually pleasantly surprised! I arrived late in the evening and just wanted to sleep to be able to get back on the road bright and early. The room was very tidy and efficient. Bed was comfy. Short stay, but happy with my choice
Check in process was good, but when we got upstairs to our room, we could see our breath in the hallway. No heat had been turned on in the room and it was very cold! About midnite, we finally got the room warmed up. The restaurant/lounge was excellent! Great food, great service there
What a dump, the heater sounds like a helicopter, the key card only works sometimes, the bathtub won’t hold water, and there’s homeless people past out drunk in the lobby
Actually a cute little property rooms are spacious and like the kitchenette, shower is a little small but overall a good roo. For price.
All great
Dirty room. Sketchy location. Definitely not impressed. Don’t be suprised if you get bed bugs
Room was a smoking room...but smelled really stake and smoky. Shower would not warm up. Bathroom sink was plugged. Mouse scrambling around the room in the night. No iron in the room..not did the hotel even have one. The clerk took a long time to check us in through Expedia due to lack of training.
Unsecure surrounding
I drove up to the hotel to find people hanging around parking area along with the sidewalk. In a seedy part of town. Due to concerns for safety of my vehicle I did not even check in. It may be a great hotel but due to the environment outside I took the loss of the booking cost and checked in elsewhere. Sorry but seen this type of location before. My fault for not checking reviews and going with a cheap hotel.
I was ignored so i never checked in. I left
It was fine
Awesome staff
Friendly
Friendly staff
It is good for a night of stay, no elevator in case you need to bring heavy stuff up to 3rd floor. We had a non-smoking room so it was worth the money for 1 night stay approx $82. Maybe they can add free breakfast next time. At night, it feels unsafe because there is a bar on the first floor. When i go outside and went back from parking area, there is a man standing im not sure if he is drunk and its dark outside. I just feel unsafe because the man might be drunk. So i avoided the man and walk quickly.
All good
Not bad for the price we paid and the intake staff was decent at getting us checked in even when they couldn't find the Expiedia booking.
Don't judge the book by its cover
They exceeded my expectations considering that the place looks old from outside but pretty cool and clean from the inside
Great staff
Better down the street
The room only cost $80 a night, however a $200 per room/per night hold will be applied to your Credit Card. The lobby smells, and Trucks are "not safe" to park near the hotel
Great old little hotel. The pub on the main floor was awesome. Super friendly staff and great food
It is an older property. Upkeep is good. Smell of smoke a little strong.

Staff didn’t know what to do had to constantly FaceTime someone to get help, front desk was always closed and had to go get a bar member to help
