Cathedral Junction Apartment

Great stay. Excellent comms.

Nicely renovated in a great location in Cathedral Junction. Easy walk to main attractions in Christchurch. Also close to several restaurants and bars. After hours key pickup was straightforward. Very clean and pretty spacious. Just FYI I prepaid through Expedia but they still sent me an invoice, probably an admin issue more than anything and easily sorted out with an email but just make sure you know whether you have paid or not!

Fantastic room, questionable communication...

Property itself was great. Communication left alot to be desired. Info to receive keys didnt come till day of as service is sporadic in many places and I'd imagine for any travellers who didnt buy a sim card it would be difficult to get the required information mid trip. Also received an email suggesting payment had not yet been recieved but was paid at time of booking a month in advance? Aside from the comms it was a great room

Had a great stay and location was excellent, tram right outside apartment, easy walk to shops & cafes. Would recommend to friends and family.

Fabulous location and the hosts despite not dealing with them face to face, were great. Detailed check in information was perfect and even when I contacted them direct by mobile, they were available. Only things the unit lacked was air conditioning and hanging space! No wardrobe or hooks/ hangers on the wall. Loved the sheets and very comfortable bed! Will certainly use again.

We had a very comfortable stay. Communication from the hosts was excellent. The apartment was very comfy and homely and clean. It was quite warm in the apartment when we stayed so we had the window open at night and could hear traffic noise. We slept well one night but not so well the next. There was a fan but it was also quite noisy. It should also be noted that a washing up bowl etc is provided but as there is no sink in the kitchenette area, you have to use the basin in the bathroom for washing up water. But overall it was a good stay in a convenient location.

Cathedral junction apartment staying

When I checked in, I was surprised due to no reception desk. But The location is very good. The my room is very clean and good condition but heating system was working with noise.

Good location

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Very good location. Close to pretty much everything within walking distance. And the communication with the owners was very good and clear. The only downside. Is there were multiple lights that were not working, meaning the room was quite dark at all hours of the day. And they do have daily housekeeping. But what they don’t tell you is that you have to pay extra for it. Around $35 a day.

Comfortable, great location

Comfortable apartment, well equipped. Excellent location, close to the tram and CBD. Having a Nespresso machine was nice, and there is a Nespresso store in Chch (maybe add this to the Compendium? Missing/dead lightbulbs were a definite minus, and so easily fixable.

Convenient Apartments in Central Christchurch

The apartments are in a good location, with good access to nearby restaurants and cafes. Everything in the apartment worked well. It was nice and clean, with all the basic amenities provided. Communication for the check in and key access was clear. Unfortunately no place to store luggage after the 10am check-out, so need to drag your bags around if you have a late afternoon or night flight.

We loved the completely central Christchurch location. So close to some fabulous eateries and bars, and therefore great when you don't have a vehicle. Communication with the property was excellent - fast and very clear which made up for the unusual situation as there is no reception concierge desk. Great place. Thank you.

Pay extra for housekeeping

The accommodation was generally ok. The instructions for access were explicit and easy to follow. What disappointed me was a matter of principle. The advertisement in Hotels.com promises daily housekeeping. However there is NO daily housekeeping unless you're prepared to pay extra. At best this is misleading advertising - really it is dishonest, because you expect the price you are paying to cover the services mentioned on the ad

Great location, well serviced, excellent amenities and communication.

The apartment was great it was clean and tidy with all you need in it and well situated for all the attractions and resturants with the tram and buses very close you could travel any where you wished the owners where fantastic they all ways kept you informed and were at the end of the phone or email to help you if you required any i will use them again the next time im in christchurch

Brilliant location

Very cosy, clean and well equipped apartment in a great location for exploring the central city. Art gallery, museum, Quake, library and Lumiere cinema and Rutherford's den all a short walk (or scoot) and all absolutely brilliant. Really enjoyed our stay

Must be the best place to stay in CC. Central location. Out the door and onto the tram. Room was wonderful - spacious, comfortable, spotless and a real haven. Zeenie and team provided comprehensive directions on how to find the apartment and lots of help and support throughout which was much appreciated - all by email. There was even complementary breakfast at nearby Caffeine Laboratory. Highly recommended

My wife and I stayed in one of the Cathedral Junction apartments and loved the experience. Location,cleaniness and communication with the operators was fantastic. My wife actually feel ill and we were well looked after by the operators...thank you

Fantastic apartment, nice and central. Great bars and restaurants around. Easy check in. Will definitely book again next time.

The location was excellent, the apartment was well appointed. Being picky the only thing that needs attention is the drapes (need rehanging), otherwise excellent. Good communication.

Everything about this property was perfect for us. Great location if you are wanting to in and around the CBD and the apartment had everything we needed. Communication with the owners, including instructions on how to access the property were first class. Thanks for a great experience!!

Very clean confortable and large room, nicely decorated, excellent bedding, everything you need is there. Central, room is in the same building than Quest Efficient communication with the owners. Can only recommend.

So close to everything, beautiful beds and layout and excellent communication with owners.

Loved how convenient this space was to so much of the city. Loved being able to see the trams come by. And the bed and chairs were so comfy! I found the room got very steamy after a shower and there was lots of condensation on the windows in the morning, so I left the windows open for most of the day to try to let that out, but it was still quite wet by evening and I'd worry about the room getting a bit chilly if I had to do that on a colder day.

It is located right by everything we were interested in and the tram goes through the building! So easy to jump on and enjoy the sites. Room is cheery and bed comfortable! Listen to their instructions and not your gps until construction is complete!

The apartment was good value for money. Modern, clean, a comfortable kingsize bed with luxury linen. Easy walking distance to town, shops, bars and restaurants. Carpark next door to apartment, reasonable all day parking rates. Would definitley stay and again and highly recommend.

Lack of free parking ,very handy to tram and booking for attractions

Très bien mais pas de réception

Appartement agréable, propre et très bien situé. Le seul reproche concerne hôtel.com qui ne précise pas bien que l’on a affaire à un particulier et que l’on doit checker en Permanance son mail pour avec les condition puis le “ jeu de piste” pour récupérer la clé. Sachez aussi qu’il faut produire une pièce d’identité par mail, ce que tous le monde n’est pas prêt à faire…. Idem pour le check out, surveillez votre mail pour savoir où laisser la clé en partant…..

空港行きバス停や高速バスターミナルからも近く、便利な場所です。部屋もコンパクトながらも快適で無料wifiも問題無し自室の様に寛げます。但し、一般のホテル都違い鍵の受け取りの為にメールのやり取りが必要で一手間かかります。またホテルの様なチェックアウト後の荷物の預かりサービスは無い為、雨の日に荷物を持って観光案内所まで行き預けるのは辛いかも。

ロケーションは最高

普通のホテルに滞在するのと違い、チェックインが複雑のように感じたが、アパートメントの管理者からその都度細かなe-mail でやり取りできて、スムーズだった。
