Room was clean and truly enjoyed my stay there!

The view was amazing. There’s four breakfast options all of which were ok. The staff was very friendly. There were some ants that would come into the room but they never went on the bed and did not bother me (your in the jungle what can you expect?).For the view and price it is definitely worth staying here.

We had a pleasant stay in this property, garden is well kept and Arenal volcano view is fantastic, the room was rustic but have AC, TV and Hot Water although it is missing a Safe (I removed 1 star because of this) I'd like to mention the reception lady (Ivannia) was very nice and helpful and always assisted us with all our needs..

Very unique interesting and nice hotel

Really nice hotel with a pleasing asthetic, rooms were mostly clean with few issues, we originally got the wrong room but staff were happy to switch us without issue. The pool could use more light as it was almost entirely dark by 5pm

Amazing view of arenal volcano from the room, friendly staff and good food. Location is perfect and quiet yet close to town.

Beautiful property great friendly staff

Small, quiet place. Pretty landscaping. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. They contract with a few tour companies in the area. I signed up through the hotel to do three tours and had a great experience with all of them. (They provide pick up and return from the hotel which was very convenient as I was there without a car.) There is a parking lot if you do have a car.

Établissement au calme et proche de la nature. Il y a de nombreuses plantes et oiseaux en plus d'un petit sentier dans la foret. La piscine est bien appréciée des enfants! Les chambres sont juste correctes et manque de charme. Les blocs de 3 chambres sont très près les uns des autres et on entend bien les voisins. Le restaurant est OK, sans plus. Globalement le séjour est bien, mais ne correspond pas à la réputation de ce lieu que l'on voit dans les commentaires plus anciens.

Very beautiful property. Unique layout and landscape.

Staff are very friendly, even prepared me to go breakfast when i didn't have enough time. It's a quiet place with pool and cool hammocks in front of each room. Recommend it.

I will stay again when I go back to Arenal. Staff was really friendly, they recommended very nice places to eat at. It is also located very close to town and to the thermal waters. I really enjoyed it!

Quiet and tranquil location, attentive staff, good breakfast and a clean room... perfect.

Great natural location, close to the volcano, set in between trees and beautiful plants. However property is old, and bathrooms are small and old and need updating.

Good Value, Nothing Special.

Catarata Eco Lodge is clean and safe, but didn't blow me away. The service was really good, but the rooms are beginning to show their age. The location is good, being so close to La Fortuna Waterfall. Overall, a good value.

Simple but Beautiful

Loved the area and the property was nestled in the rainforest. A hammock for each room was a nice touch as was the free breakfast. However dissenting travelers will find the rooms a bit "rustic" and you definitely need to have access to a car.

An ok place for a short stay

Location a little hidden from main road. Good overall facilities and nice installations except for inside the rooms which are outdated and old.

Good hotel, good location, great staff!!!!

Good hotel, especially for the price. The staff are very nice and friendly, and help you with booking activities in the area. My room was ok, not great, not bad. It was clean and comfortable. The location is such that I didn’t get any road noise at all, yet I was close to everything. Nice stay overall! I would book again.

A fine hotel

The hotel was pleasant and in a good location for our needs (close to Arenal). It was hard to find by car, even with Google maps. The room was fine and the grounds were clean and pretty, though there were ants crawling everywhere in the room. I wish the breakfast ran a little longer (ends at 9am), because I accidentally slept late and missed it. Overall, it was fine and luckily pretty cheap.

The map shows the hotel in town but its actually 3k outside of Fortuna then down a pretty bad dirt road for about 1k. They then gave us a room to the very back of the property which is a long walk with 2 kids and luggage when its raining, while many of the rooms to the front were vacant. Near our room there was a communal kitchen and there was partying until 1 am. Wifi was not available at the rooms and the bed's springs were easily felt.. The locks on the door were a joke to say the least. The door knobs were the only looks on the door and they looked very old.. The pool is nice but cold.. I found the night watchman to be very nice and knowledgeable although he could not get the party in the back to quite down..

Good and safe place to stay in La Fortuna and amazing view of the volcano but our room definitely needed some kind of modernisation...

Eine wunderschöne Anlage und Location. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und entspannt. Wenn wir wieder in Costa Rica sein sollten, dann kehren wir gerne zurück.

Très agréable.

Bel ensemble verdoyant, chambre avec grande baie vitrée très agréable, petite piscine agréable. Petit déjeuner moyen (mon dieu, pourquoi du jus d'orange industrie !). Grand parking. A deux pas de la cascade LA FORTUNA et de la ville.

Die freundliche Lodge liegt in einem traumhaften Garten mit Pool und Blick auf den Arenal-Vulkan. Rezeption und Restaurant sind im Freien unter einem Dach mit Blick ins Grüne und auf eine Futterstelle für Vögel. Die Zimmer haben eine große Fensterfront zum Garten und ein weiteres Fenster über dem Bett. Das Bad ist zweckmäßig. Wir haben nur einen Safe vermisst. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Me gusto mucho, un buen hotel para pasar en pareja, falto un poco de servicio de restaurante por que no siempre estaba abierto pero por el resto excelente, como la Fortuna es un lugar de muchos restaurantes se pudo disfrutar mucho y conocer bastante

Erg fijne locatie met goed personeel. Genoten van de faciliteiten. Ontbijt beviel ook erg goed! Zeker tevreden. Zou het iedereen aanraden!

Súper hermoso

Schöne kleinere Anlage mit einem tollen gepflegten Garten. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber ausreichend ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Bien ubicado. Costa rica de preferencia rentar coche. Limpio. Si lo recomiendo.

Precioso jardín, lleno de colibries y otras aves!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Catarata eco-lodge. C’est un véritable petit coin de paradis loin de tout agitation. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et nous reposer dans le hamac. Le restaurant et lui aussi très bon.

Mysigt hotell "mitt i djungeln"

Ett underbart hotell "mitt i djungeln"! Finfin trädgård med en underbar pool. Enkel men bra standard. Nära till alla sevärdheter om man har bil eller tar taxi.

Schöne Anlage mit freundlichen Personal. Alles war gut, würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

חוויה מדהימה! מלון מדהים ונקי מאוד!! חדרים מרווחים. מים חמיםםם מקלחת גדולה! יש גינה קטנה עם ערסל נוח. המסעדה במלון טעימה מאוד ומנות יפות. מחיר סביר. ארוחת בוקר גדולה!!! ביצים, טוסט, אורז. בהתחלה הם מביאים גם צלחת פירות לכל אחד. שכחתי שם את השרשרת שלי ולא לקחו לי אותה, אלא החזירו לי אותה בשקית קטנה. מלון אמין.
