I stayed with my family for 2 days, we enjoyed this hotel! It is spacious, clean and with friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is very varied and good.
Staff was very helpful and located in a historic Barrio de Santa Cruz.
This is a great property in Sevilla! I read about some comments about noise but I didn't have any problems. It was quiet for me, I was in the second floor. It was a little tough to find the entry door as there is a bar downstairs and the entry door is through a very narrow alley, just ask anyone around and they will show you. The bar downstairs is awesome and I loved it that it was right on the little plaza where a lot was happening! I am going to book again when I go to Sevilla!
Great staff
Front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. Brekfast offering great. The rooms are clean but the overall age of the building has its limitations. Given the location in old town, maybe expected? I haven’t stayed in more renovated buildings.
Good central hotel
Hotel in a perfect central position. Very friendly and helpful reception staff especially Juan Carlos who were able to answer all our questions. Good breakfast and large comfy room and bed.
i did not realize the property could not be accessed by vehicle. it required walking through a series of pedestrian only streets and the property had its lobby at the back of a restaurant with no sígns on the front. the people were nice .also no refrigerator in the room. breakfast was nice. in colombia he same restaurant. but you might see large cockroaches walking around as we did. because it’s o e if the oldest part of Seville. However it’s walking distance to the Cathedral and many other interesting historical sites. once you know where it is located it is easy to walk to. it did take us half hour of walking to find dragging suitcases despite j being fluent in spanish. don’t plan on sleeping early since the surroundings are noisy. younger guests will enjoy ample dining choices in area. we coincided with the annual Seville Festival. where the population almost doubles. watch your belongings. my wallet was stolen. the hotel does not provide a safe in the room.
Excellent hotel, staff and location! Right on the middle of historic area and easy walk to everything. Attached restaurant is great! Thank you!
Horrible
The room was so inadequate I don’t know where to start. Our room was situated above a restaurant open until midnight, then they cleaned and smoked for an hour. The trash came at 5:00am and emptied 3 containers of bottles. All the noise and smoke came up to the window of the room. When we asked if we could change rooms the clerk was so shocked that we heard anything!!! The room itself had one chair and no place to put luggage except on the floor. The bathroom was so small it was difficult to turn around in. One hand towel and two shower towels..I’ve always heard you get the worst rooms when you book through agencies rather than direct. This was definitely the case. Certainly not worth the money!
What a fantastic location to spend our time in Seville. Was difficult to find when we first arrived, but a beautiful hotel and the staff were all so accommodating. The room was super clean and the beds very comfortable. We felt really at home there and can highly recommend the hotel for anyone that wants to stay in an authentic Spanish property.
Great little hideaway! A bit tricky to find but great location - an easy walk to all the major sites in the Old City. Clean, well appointed, updated rooms in a very charming historical building. VERY helpful staff. Breakfast was well worth it - variety of hit and cold items including local breads and pastries. Excellent value for money - highly recommend! (Plus my wee dog got just as warm a welcome as we did.)
Very god hotel, central situated in Old town. Only reason for not Giving 10 is that you Can only use the outside tables if dining, not if you only want a drink or a coffee
Great place. It’s small but it is extremely clean. The front desk staff are just incredible people. Very helpful and humble. Will certainly return.
The staff was amazing, the location is great, I totally recommend this place.
Grat location
Great location in the pedestrian center. Minutes to the top sights. Friendly staff and surprisingly big room.
An unexpected visitor-cockroach
We had an unexpected visitor ( a COCKROACH) that showed in the middle of the night to disturb our sleep. It was a terrible experience for our family.
Lo unico que no me gusto fue que no te dejan dejar el aire acondicionado prendido cuando no estas en la habiracion y cuando regresas con el calor que hay en sevillaces un horno lo que te encuentras. Por lo demas muy buena atencion
great for value, clean and in good location
It’s a family friendly place and it’s near everything’s Touristique in Seville
Great location for walking to everything. A bit difficult to find at first, and be aware that you have to walk around the block to enter from wherever the car or taxi drops you. If you have a lot of luggage that may be challenging. But the property was very clean and the staff very friendly. Would recommend.
Helpful staff and great location.
The best of basic.
This tucked away hotel is a gem in personality. Rooms are clean and basic, with a large shower and a slight old world charm. The front desk men, are friendly and have the presence of bulldogs. The type that keep an eye on the place, and who I’d want around if my mother, or girlfriend were staying there solo. The bartenders in the connecting restaurant and bar, are personable, and happy to serve. The restaurant maître d’ is a little crotchety, and seemed annoyed by tourists, but after a couple days of observing him, his actions became part of the charm of the place. One recommendation I’d like to make to the hotel. Right before check out, i went to eat breakfast. I sat for a few minutes and eventually my girlfriend joined me at the table. She was’t going to eat. So the waitress flatly told her she had to leave. So I left as well. I’m guessing from what the front deskman tried to explain, it was a policy, born out of the contracted restaurant, that was beyond her control. I can live with a misdirected policy. However, some level of management needs to teach the breakfast serving staff a little tact, and politeness when applying such a cold policy. The restaurant may be contracted out of the hotel, but it also serves as the charisma and face of the property, so I’d make sure their staff are as friendly as your own. This is a solid hotel overall, and in a lively by night, quiet by morning, beautiful corner in Santa Cruz, Seville.
Cute hotel hidden away
There’s not a big common area, but it’s cute with character. The only down side which is also a plus is it’s in Santa Cruz so a taxi an only get you within 2-3 blocks.
Great place , right in the heart of Seville. Restaurant everywhere. Clean , personal are great .
Very nice small hotel
Great hotel. The staff is really kind. Rooms are nice, clean and modern.
Everything you’d need
A lovely, quirkily themed hotel, Casual Juan Tenorio provides wonderful service, a convenient location and an overall positive vibe. The attached restaurant is top notch; I look forward to returning.
Great location in the heart of Barrio de Santa Cruz; friendly staff; good breakfast; and above average facilities given the age of the historic age of the property.
5 nights in Seville
Great location. Close to everything and lots of restaurants. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Safe, clean and I would definitely stay there again.
We loved our stay in Seville. There was always a friendly face at the front desk. They were helpful and courteous. The location was easy walking distance to all tapas bars and the monuments.
Super duper - helpful - friendly - lovely layout and excellent downtown location
Great little hotel with lovely staff and nice rooms in a perfect location. The only issue was the price ended up being different from what Hotels.com had listed. Not their fault though.
The front desk personnel was humble and nice and very accommodating. There is a bar/ restaurant attached to hotel and they have get discounts for hotel guest. The area surrounding the hotel has everything you can ask for all within a 0.5 mile radius. I completely recommend it if you want a place to sleep and explore all the. It’s has to offer.
Very nice staff! Very good location and clean!
Just what you need, centric and clean room, quiet and comfortable
Ideal central location. Charming old world hotel with adjoining bar and restaurant..
The hotel's proximity to the Seville Attractions, the restaurants within the facility and overall cleanliness of the rooms really offers great value for your buck. More so, the hotel staffs were always helpful even in giving proper directions on how to reach the hotel when boarding the taxi from the airport.
Nice location and hotel but....
My family booked last minute for two nights over New years and really enjoyed the welcome from the staff at the hotel who really were very accommodating. Location in the historic centre is excellent and close to lots of sights. We did however leave my sons dinosaur bear in the room on checkout as unfortunately he tucked him in the bed thinking we were coming back. a couple of hours later we went back to get it realising the mistake and unfortunately couldn't be found. I really wanted to leave a very positive review, but something isn't quite right. might only be a bear, but it was my sons and it went somewhere
A great location. Minutes walk from cathedral and Alcazar. Nearby good cafes and shopping. Great service even a picnic breakfast when we left early. Great breakfast included. Room with all ammenities. Highly recommended.
Well located hotel
Goid sized room, great location, clean, good wifi connection. Second stay at this hotel.
Good to stay of u like to be near center.
Hotel is quite a walk away and in the corner. But good beds and quite so had a great bught sleep. Near the square and places to see. If u have a car please park in Parking lots pay and walk to hotel. Kinda difficult to find it.
Good location. Friendly staff. Room could have been cleaner - especially bathroom.
Recommended
Good location and the breakfast is good
Wonderful welcome by staff and also very helpful. Rooms pleasant and twin beds with plenty of room between. Fantastic location, close by to bars, restaurants, cathedral and Alcazar. Breakfast was adequate.
It was in an excellent location but difficult to find
We loved this hotel! The location was perfect. If there was any complaint, it would be that it was noisy and the beds were hard. Alejandro, down stairs was a sweetheart. Very helpful. The restaurant next door was very good.
All good. Quite hidden and hard to find in the night, but it was perfect
Fantastic bargain in a fantastic location.
We enjoyed our 4 day 3 night stay at Casual Don Juan Tenorio. We know, of course, it's a no frills hotel but the service was superior, the bed comfortable, the breakfast good and the room clean. We didn't need anything else. The location was excellent, close to all the major sites, with a bar/tapas attached and another adjacent.
Helpful and polite staff and a lovely little bar downstairs. Breakfast was what you’d expect from a small hotel. The bedroom door to the corridor had quite a large gap at the bottom so let light and heat in. Overall a good stay though.
very helpful staff. location of the hotel is excellent near to all main attractions.
Good Place highly recommended Clean place and Nice location
Had a brillant time in seville food lovely especially tapas people very friendly accomadation near everything and staff very helpful would go back again
Nice quiet hotel near Seville cathedral
The hotel was fine, fairly basic and of course all hotels in Seville doubles and tripled their normal prices during Holy Week. The hotel is off a small square and although it is very close to the Cathedral, which is why I chose it, it was very quiet. The room had windows on two sides and was sunny and airy.
Great location, just in the heart of old town with walking distance to all major tourist attractions as well as the bus station. Room was comfortable and staffs were friendly.
Seville 2019
Again two bed room made to accommodate three people, (photo showed only double bed) I am beginning to believe that Hotels. com get the inferior rooms judging from the last two hotels that week. Not enough clothes hangers for two never mind three people. Requested more, had to ask again for more. Hotel central & staff very friendly.
Location location location
Right in the middle of the old town in the Santa Cruz area. It in a pedestrianised area about 3 min from the cathedral. It was a bit tricky to find a size it’s entrance is down a narrow alley. However don’t let that put you off. Welcoming reception, lift, and themed rooms. Don’t expect a spectacular view. The way the hotel is built above a restaurant and up against blank walls you won’t get one. Don’t let that put you off either. Bed was very comfortable, with duvet. Fluffy towels in the bathroom. We went for the breakfast option which was served at the adjoins restaurant. Selection of juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt, meats and bread and pastries. Great coffee and serve yourself buffet. We got a taxi from the train station which dropped us at the entrance to the plaza where the hotel is located. Walk straight down past the shop selling herbs and spices till you get to the start of the plaza and then turn left down the cul de sac. Thanks for a great stay. We would certainly come back.
Hotel could do with a face lift!
Hotel was a little dated, rooms very basic, bar was average but location was great as very central. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Maybe it’s because I book these last-minute but I was expecting more for that price I paid.
Loved It! Yes
Great location. Friendly abd efficient staff.
Good location, room has no bar fridge or safe. Breakfast was very basic.
this is a one start hotel with a great staff and good location. Very Noisy , specially in the morning when the near by restaurants are preparing to start the day. shower does not work correctly and the hotel smells like bleach. Although the Staffs are amazing. They go out of their way to help you if you need.
Great location, amazing staff, modern rooms, not well kept, very dirty
Close to all attractions. Reception staff are friendly and helpful (both day and night)
Great option!
Overall very good experience. Location was awesome. It is above a restaurant and you can go down to eat and hear live music. The windows open completely and it is very pretty. Staff was friendly. Rooms were very nice. Air conditioning in the rooms when you are in them but it turns off when you leave. They only put two pillows and a sheet on the bed. I know it is warm in Sevilla but I would’ve liked a blanket and extra pillows. I could have probably asked but it wasn’t too big of a deal. The shower has multiple heads and settings which is cool but it was quite complicated to figure out and seemed like maybe the knobs weren’t tightened properly or could use some work.
Nice
Great location, cute little hotel, very clean. A little noisy at night because of the restaurant, but very comfortable. Helpful staff
Great hotel
Miguel was so friendly and helpful!! Really great hotel in the middle of Santa Cruz, just really hard to find initially
Nice hotel in great location. Staff were very helpful. But if you booked the hotel without breakfast, don't take the breakfast option, as it is a ripoff
The hotel is located in a great location, within walking distance to some of the major attractions. The staff was very helpful as well, and the room was clean and spacious with good AC. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.
Great hotel very central
Awesome location, close to all attractions
Nice Hotel in city centre However room was above a very busy restaurant & we had little Sleep!! Beware of the Room location or bring Ear Plugs!,,,
Lovely room and close to the main attractions in Seville.
Seville hotel
Lovely hotel in the heart of one of Seville’s interesting neighborhoods. Somewhat noisy at night as it is above a restaurant
Good value and location
Good value for money in a great location close to the cathedral. Room small but well decorated. Breakfast included in price was good. The one thing letting it down was the shower in the room. An old complicated unit that didn’t work properly with just a trickle of water. Overall good for short stay but the shower problem in our room needs to be addressed.
Quaint and Worth It
Quaint place in the middle of the beautiful location in Seville. Walking distance to everywhere . The staff are Very friendly and accommodating. Worth for every penny.
This was perfectly located, a 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral or the Real Alcazar. Off of a quiet plaza filled with orange trees and restaurants surrounded by pedestrian zones. You do have to walk ~5 minutes to reach it, as it is not accessible by car. But that wasn't a problem for us. In fact, it added to the experience. The hotel was adorable, and the room was comfortable. The only major complaint was that the shower didn't drain properly, and the hairdryer in the room didn't work. The staff at the front desk provided us with a replacement on request, though. Everyone was very friendly, and communication was far from a problem.
Location location location
Most central! Amazing location. An older hotel, renovated, but small, so expect everything that an older hotel can do. Super clean, welcoming and nice staff. Breakfast included in our room price, and its fine. Not outstanding but fine.
Centrally located.
The choice of this Hotel was spot-on for seeing the historical sites of Seville. Restaurants and bars were on the doorstep if you didn't want to venture too far. The more modern shopping centre a ort stroll, with loads of tourist type shops along the way. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. However, if you want to go into the "Alcazar" Gardens and Cathedral Monuments, it is worth booking on-line. We queued for 2.1/2 hours!!! and when we eventually got in, we couldn't go into the Royal Apartments unless we had booked on-line. The gardens and museum were beautiful and worth visiting. I would add that the queue was made worse by the fact that, what seemed to be, unofficial Tour Guides going up to the people in the back end of the queue, asking their nationality and informing them that they could save them the waiting time if they availed themselves of their services. Once we got to the front of the queue we could see what was happening......the Security Guards were allowing the guides, with their customers from the latter half of the queue to enter first. Having said all the above, would we have paid €22 on-line to go into one monument? A lovely Restaurant......La Cueva, very near to the Hotel.
Great location, good restaurant downstairs, could be noisy during weekend night
So central, lovely little hotel.
All of Seville’s attractions are in walking distance, the staff, particularly Rebeka, were lovely. Our dog was made to feel very welcome. Casa Roman restaurant, just outside, is fantastic.
Great Location and affordable
Great location, close to all sites in Seville. The plaza where the hotel is located is a bit noisy.
Great location
Good value for money. Location great. Friendly staff. Breakfast not great but was ok. I would stay here again
Not my first choice, but ok
Great location -- right in the middle of the old town in Sevilla, but difficult to access -- you cannot drive up to the hotel, so make sure you've got wheeled luggage - not even a taxi can get more than two-three blocks from the hotel, and closest parking is about 5 blocks away. Management is very nice. Bed is comfortable. Room is small. Lot of street noise. Shower was not overly clean and didn't work very well - pieces missing, though we were able to get a hot shower out of it. I wouldn't rush back, but if it were my only option, as it almost was on this trip, I would go - proximity to sights is excellent.
Pros: First, our stay was cheap. We needed to see Seville, not be enchanted by our hotel room. Second, the location was ideal. If you don't mind the meandering alleyways, this place is fairly close to the Real Alcazar, Catedral de Seville, and La Giralda. Plaza de España is a 20-minute walk away. Third, the service was exemplary. The person who checked us in was very informative and helpful. We got there late due to upcoming festivities and detours but he gave us a good rundown of the attractions nearby. Fourth, breakfast is available. It is pretty simple but should be enough to get you a good start for the day. Cons: Parking. It took us ten minutes to get from our parking to the hotel. The streets are covered in quintessential European cobblestones but the views along the way are fantastic. If you're already exhausted, getting to this hotel could be challenging.
Friendly comfortable hotel in great location
We stayed for 3 nights in December during the Fiesta of the Inmaculada Concepcion and the city was in party mode. One of the tunas (bands affiliated to Seville University depts in their traditional robes) played in the square outside the hotel before moving on to the main event which started at midnight. The hotel is in a brilliant location in the old town, far enough from the main festivities to be reasonably quiet at night but a short walk to the main centre, cathedral Alcazar etc. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful when one of our party left his passport in a taxi, tracking it down and arranging for its return the same evening. The rooms are basic but clean and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and good showers. The breakfast was ok but there are lots of excellent bars and restaurants nearby to explore as well, we liked El Pasaje just down the street, with a great tapas in the restaurant and a late night bar opposite. Highly recommended.
Better Than granada
Had a great stay near spectacular castle and the Seville cathedral
Budget Sevilla
The hotel was perfectly adequate for a short budget stay. The location and the staff were very good, however it is difficult to find and they could do with more/better signage. Unfortunately, as it is in a small plaza with bars the rooms facing the plaza are quite noisy, however as it is in a popular area I guess you have to expect that.
Everything is fine at Don Juan
The hotel recently changed its name from Laura so it was not so easy to find. My room was small dark and depressing. However very clean with an over the top fancy shower but no bath mat to step out to. Appreciated the small bottle of water complementary in the room. It was not a nice room to go back to for your siesta.
Great location in Santa crux, with an elevator,! We won uk ld s t aye there again anyday
GREAT LOCATION AND STAFF. AIR CONDITIONING RAN CONTSTANTLY SO IT GOT RATHER COLD BUT STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL.
Great modern hotel. Comfortable beds. Service desk was helpful. Location was good. I had a little trouble finding the hotel but I found the monumental area of Sevilla confusing.
A gem in Seville.
Outstanding location if you travel without a car. Excellent service. Antonio at the reception was a super star helping us with necessary arrangements for lost luggage by airline. Not impressed by breakfast. Overall - above all expectations!
Decent hotel, bad decor
This hotel is in a great area, but they are trying to do something they shouldn't with their decor. In the entry, they have put white adhesive plastic covering on all of the cool old tile, and it looks terrible! They also used a faux granite-looking wall adhesive in our room, and it was peeling off and looked terrible. The staff was very kind! No fridge, FYI.
After searching for more than 30 minutes going around in circles I have up and found another hotel. There was no parking and no signs indicating where the hotel was.
One night stay
I was really pleased with my stay here! For a 2 star hotel, it is more like a 3+! I booked on the day so I hadn't done too much research beforehand but I was pleasantly surprised with my choice. The staff are so helpful, can speak good English and made me feel welcome! They even prebooked a taxi to the airport for me as I was leaving at 5am, which was a great help! The hotel is quite difficult to find as it's down one of the alleys of the old town and signage was not that clear. However the location is perfect for reaching all the tourist attractions! Only 5 mins walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar. 10/15 mins from Plaza de España. There seems to be plenty of restaurants/bars and shops around the hotel, unfortunately I was only there for less than 24 hours so did not have enough time to experience everything. The room was pretty much perfect, I was in a twin room and it was perfect sizing for me as a solo traveller. Everything is pretty modern in the room. A fridge maybe would have been nice but not a necessity, especially in a 2 star. The aircon was really good and an essential in Seville! Cleaniness was okay. There was a couple of long hairs on the floor, and were not mine as they were much darker. The sink looked dirty but it was just chipped, so don't be alarmed. Just a few things that I am being fussy about but they were only minor things and the rest of the stay made up for it. Overall I was very pleased, for the price you pay you do get a perfect location!
great location, very clean, helpful staff
Very nice hotel with great location. Room was very clean and hotel staff was also very helpful. I also liked the hotel building itself (decoration, large space on the floor).

an enjoyable stay in a good city
