The property is very close to Disneyland and has tons of dining options around. The only downside is the high noise level - you can hear almost everything happening next door or upstairs.
Close walk to the parks. Friendly staff and nice rooms.
Great
Older hotel, but the price was right with close proximity to Disneyland (roughly 8 minute walk). We enjoyed our stay.
Staff were great. Hotel very outdated. Beds are hard but rooms are clean Amenities were provided which was great
Short walk to Disneyland Resort. Clean room. Have stayed here multiple times. Best stay is on 4th (highest) floor to avoid hearing footsteps of people in room above. Expected but annoying...kids running in the outside walkway at 6 am. Good kids, not so good parents. I expected our kids to have fun without annoying others.
Poor customer service
We have stayed here before and didn't have issues. This time the would not let my family check in. I paid for the room and was showing up later in the evening. This wlwas inconvenient as I was on the road traveling and was flying in later in the day. I talked with the lady that was at the hotel and they still would not let my family check in. I would not stay here again. We travel as a family and not always show up at the same time.
Staff were very kind and helpful. Very walkable to both Disney parks (~10 mins) with two convenient breakfast places on the walk. Highly recommend if you're planning to go to Disney and want a clean, nice place to stay that's walkable.
People stay here because of disneyland and its location. If not for that, its a very average but clean motel with a small pool and hot tub. It needs a complete update. Carpets and furnishings are dated. We did like the family suite for a family of 4.
Clean and convenient.
This hotel was good. The room was very clean, and although it is a bit dated, it was in good repair. One bed was not comfortable, but I reported it at the front desk and they got right on it. Flipped the mattress and added a 3 inch foam topper and then it was SO comfortable. The Castle Inn is also so close to Disney and easy in and out. We loved the convenience. Will certainly stay here again.
Very convenient to Disneyland Park.
An okay hotel, very outdated. Wouldn’t stay here again but wasn’t horrible.
Everyone on staff very nice and accommodating, grounds and building very Disneyland like
Rooms were a bit rundown. Bathroom area was very outdated.
Great stay
We were on the 4th floor and the walkway is terrible uneven I felt like I was going to fall. There was a gap in the door about an inch which let more cold air in and who knows what else could slither in .
Not great
For the price, it's fine. The beds are so uncomfortable. The last time i stayed here, i told myself never again....and i didn't listen. Now, i am saying never again! And won't be back
The property is walking distance to multiple sites and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Amazing place to stay thank you!
After we checked out, they let us keep our vehicle parked at the Castle Inn rather than park in the disney parking lot. Will be coming here again
Front desk was very polite and helpful, would definitely book again.
10 minute walk to Disney entrance
First time staying here. Our experience was great, would definitely book again. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got in pretty late, and the front desk staff member, Eric, made everything super smooth and gave us all the information we needed in a timely manner. The room was clean upon entering, and we enioyed all the towel art. The included parking was also a huge plus! The only downside was that the facility is pretty outdated, but honestly, not a big deal.
Great stay for my large family with a 2 bedroom. Staff was delightful and even gave us a late checkout. 5 stars for what it is. Kids loved it so it was a win.
Nice hotel, has a hot tub and heated pool although no towels. Easy free parking. Was a little loud our room was by the stairs. 2 blocks to Disney
Close to the parks and clean, but lacking in areas
We booked the Castle Inn and Suites for our family of 6 for our trip to Disneyland due to its proximity to the parks. It's not the closest but within a 5 minute walk so it served that purpose. The other reason we decided to stay at the Castle was because they offered a two-room suite with a king size bed as well as two queens, perfect for our family. The amenities were spartan, but clean. Overall the room was a good size and two TVs made it easier to cater to the needs of our different age kids. However, our room was a little dated. The TVs had very basic cable and were older 40-42 inch sets with no ability to log into streaming services or connect to a device for mirroring a service. Given, we weren't there to watch TV but we find it nice to turn on our comfort shows when winding down from the day or getting ready to hit the parks and we didn't have that option so that was a small disappointment. The mattresses however, were very much in need of a replacement/upgrade. They sagged in the middle and we could feel the springs as we laid down on them so our rest wasn't super great. Overall a nice place to stay and close to Disney so not a bad choice, but don't expect luxury or anything other than basic amenities.
Great hotel for families
My daughters and I enjoyed being so close to Disneyland.
Stayed here for 3 nights in December 2024! Friendly staff, super convenient to the theme park, quiet, and clean. Will totally stay again!
It was pleasant for a quick get away trip. Very close to Disneyland is what we liked.
Great place for a family!
Great property that is walking distance to Disneyland. Strip mall with about 5 different food options right next door. Parking was easy and room was ready and clean
Great for families
The beds are comfortable and the room is spacious. It's perfect for families visiting Disneyland. Parking is easy and included in the cost. Our only concern about the cleanliness is that there was an odd smell coming from the bathroom sink. It smelled like soap scum so a good sink cleaning should fix it. Housekeeping was very attentive each day and the front desk staff was very friendly. This is one of our favorite places to stay when visiting Disneyland.
Clean and convenient for our stay at Disneyland.
The staff here is very attentive and caring. I always stay here when I visit Anaheim.
Just stayed overnight to enjoy two days of Disneyland. Only used the room to sleep.
Loved this for our trip to Disneyland this year. Well stay at this again
Enjoyable
We always make this place our home away from home when we come to Anaheim.
Staff was very kind and helpful. Pillows are a little flat. Randomly the sink had a foul smell. The easy walk to the park, the free parking and the available crib were our priorities and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a great stay
Older property but well maintained
Great place to stay
First time staying here, I would book again. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to the parks. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Really glad I chose to stay here! Walkable to Disney, safe, easy parking, friendly and helpful staff! The rooms could be updated, but not bad.
The staff were so nice from check in to even after check out. They were accommodating and helpful getting scooter accessibility and even called the company for us when the company didn’t answer. After we left we got a call an hour later that we left our infant daughters personalized blanket in our room and they are even mailing it to us. We would have been so sad to lose that. It was a short walk to Disney and a more than pleasant stay. Highly recommend.
Perfect choice for visiting Disneyland
Great room fantastic service
Staff was so friendly. I stay there every time I go to Disneyland with how convenient location is and free parking! This is my go to hotel
A little dated but clean, quiet and close to Disneyland
Pros: Convenient location with a short walk to Disneyland, friendly and helpful staff, decent parking, comfortable bed, pool. Cons: Very weak shower, outdated TV, sketchy elevator, loud A/C unit in the room. The close proximity to Disneyland makes it all worth it. Overall a good stay.
Close to Disneyland
The building is on the olderside and could use a make over. Staff was all very pleasant and accomodating. Distance to downtown Disney and both parks was very doable.
Very close to Disneyland, dining, and Starbucks. The rooms were dated but the Hotel was very clean and quiet. Staff an Re friendly and helpful. All for a reasonable price!
I’ve stayed here twice. It’s an old property and you can tell but it is always very clean. No old mold stains in the shower that you find in newer hotels! Front desk staff is always friendly and it is an easy and safe walk to Disneyland.
Excellent location, Comfortable beds, great staff
This was our 2nd stay at this property (first in 2017). The property is older so it has some noises and older fixtures, but water pressure was good, showers were hot, beds were comfortable and everything was clean. You can't beat the location and the service. Under 10 min walk to Disneyland and steps away from CVS, Walgreens, 7-Eleven, etc. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Will definitely stay again. Only thing missing is a roof deck to watch the fireworks! :o)
Great location
We stayed Nov 9-12 in one of the family suites. It was perfect for our family of 5, which consisted of my husband, myself and our three teenagers. Having two separate bedrooms worked so well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the room was clean it is fairly dated and could definitely benefit from a renovation. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to and from the park which was nice at the end of a long park day. An added perk is the free parking. We will definitely stay here again.
Our recent stay at the Castle Inn was underwhelming to say the least... We were looking forward to spending the extra money to stay a little bit closer to the parks but after our stay, we think we'd rather save the money and walk a little further. You could hear EVERYTHING in these rooms, nearby rooms toilets running, people talking as they walk by, staff rolling their cleaning carts by, and even just footsteps outside. But by far the worst part was the beds! So uncomfortable. Probably the most stiff, uncomfortable beds (and pillows) that I've ever seen at a hotel. Our shower head was also a bit wonky. On the normal spray setting, there was a leak that sprayed right out into the bathroom, all over the floors and right through the shower curtain! The staff at the front desk were great and the fact that you don't have to pay any extra for parking is a BONUS considering most other hotels nearby charge an additional fee. They've also brought back nightly housekeeping which was wonderful! But... I don't think we'll end up staying at the Castle Inn again until they get a much needed update and remodel.
Great, good service good people. Very respectful and welcoming.
Staff was very friendly, was mot overly noises, being on a busy street. Very clean and everything needed within walking distance.
Spontaneous night stay
Last minute spontaneous booking. Not usually the hotel we choose when staying at Disneyland, due to price. This would be my second time staying. I had extra money in the hotels.com account so we used it here to surprise my son. We stayed at a previous "castle" hotel that was horrible, so we stayed here to give new memories of a castle hotel. After reading other reviews, I agree the hotel is ran down for the price you pay. You are actually paying for the location. Castle theme or not, no reason for the over used carpet with holes in it. The colors are horrid and don't say castle to me. The outside needs to be repainted. The lobby was filled with scooters. A cubby for masks "if you forgot one" Along with all staff wearing masks. Mandate is over. The rooms are compact. Table to eat and chairs, table right by the door, TV, fridge, coffee maker. Not sure about a microwave though. Beds were hard as a rock. Thank goodness we were checking out the next day and goimg home, my husband and I could barely walk from our back pain we got from the beds. Also, there was no latch on the door. Just one lock, that when you turn the handle it unlocks and opens. My 1.5 year old learned that real fast. Being a hotel with children staying, might want to fix that. We used our stroller to place at the door. Upon checkout, I was told that now I have an account with the hotel, I can call directly and get a "much cheaper price". Not sure if we would want to return till its gotten a touch up.
A great place to stay while visiting Disneyland.
Everything was perfect. No problems at all. Thank you.
Good value for its proximity to Disneyland. Spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Relatively quiet considering we were on Harbour Blvd.
Clean safe easy walk to disney
Always enjoy staying at the Castle Inn when visiting Disney. The convenience is great. Clean hotel, helpful staff, and cozy rooms.
The staff are very frirndly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
First time at this hotel. For the price, I was expecting a nicer hotel. It’s a tired hotel that is need of an updating. In the rooms there is old decor with hard, flat pillows. The good is that it’s an easy walk to the parks, and other amenities nearby. Other hotels nearby offer better for a similar price point.
This motel is decent. Very very outdated, thin walls and ceilings, carpet looks run down with holes… However, our room was clean and the walk is so easy to Disneyland. If you don’t care about having a bougie hotel, then this place will cut it.
Great stay!
My stay was very enjoyable. My room was ready early and clean when I arrived. I was able to park there before my room was ready at mo extra charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel
Extremely clean. Walkable to Disney, safe area
Short distance from Disneyland theme park.
Property is clean. And enjoyed our staff. Would stay again. Is dated, but that didn’t effect us in any way.
The location is pretty good about 10 minutes from Downtown Disney. The beds and pillows were decent. The hotel is old, and needs an update. It smells old, looks old. It was hard to get the hot water to be good in the shower, the the plug didn't work. Good thing going to Disneyland you don't spend to much time in the room. Also no safe in the room. And there was no towels at the pool.
Location perfect for Disneyland, less than ten minutes walk. Rooms are large and well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Reception staff and very friendly and helpful.
The only positive about this property is the close proximity to Disneyland. The property is extremely outdated inside and out. Upon entering our room we immediately noticed a musty smell and dampness in the air. There was a very noticeable gap under the exterior door making the room quite noisy. Upon returning to our room after being gone for the day, we went to wash our hands and were taken aback by the dozens of aphids in the sink and on the counter. We decided to stay at this property based on the MANY positive reviews, but it seems as though we got duped! This is a very dingy property charging luxury resort prices, believe me when I say that there are far nicer properties to stay at for the same price or less.
I like it is close to park, but mattresses need to be change noise when move rooms need some paint touch up, but good en general
Do not recommend the family "suite" - get 2 rooms
Pros: the family "suite" fit all of us and it was within walking distance of the parks. There was an amazing taco restaurant next door and a walgreens a block away. Cons: $1400 for 3 nights. The whole room felt damp and smelled of mildew. The carpet was FILTHY. You could hear every word and step from the upstairs neighbors. There was 1 tiny fridge, a 1 cup keurig, 1 bathroom, and 4 towels for 6 people.
Location is very close to Disneyland! Walkable. Our air conditioning unit broke down and they had it replaced with a new unit immediately! Great service!
Great staff, easy check in. Didnt require a hold on a credit card at check in if you paid cash, which was nice.
Grandmother/grandson theme park stay. Ideal location within easy walking distance of the Disney parks. The staff were overwhelmingly supportive and friendly, always ready to help.
Hotel was as expected, older hotel with older rooms. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Family room was worth the upgrade. Staff was friendly and quick to respond to requests. Location was great!
Great accommodation for 3 adults (one was 83 years old). Easy to find and easy walking distance to Disneyland. Great lighting at might and felt very safe. Staff were lovely and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay for 4 nights.
Loved the convenience of being walking distance to Disneyland main entrance, and the layout of the family suite. Worked really well for us! The staff are all extremely hard working and were very accommodating. The downside to staying here is that the property itself is quite dated and the mattresses themselves could use a little lift. ( We slept fine, but it was not super cozy. ). Their cleaning team is very hardworking and we’re constantly on the move! Would I stay here again? Yes! Would it be my first choice? Maybe, maybe not - depends if a family suite is required again. That layout was great! If I’m looking for a tiny bit of luxury, I would probably not choose this location as my first option. I did really enjoy being there for this trip though, so hardly a hardship!
Great hotel for vacation
This was a wonderful clean hotel to stay for the week for a family vacation! The staff was very helpful and offered tailored housekeeping options during your stay. We will definitely come again!
Great location and family suite was big enough for family 5 to sleep
We had stayed there about 12 years ago😊 We liked it because it was walking distance to Disneyland, perfect area for us
Solid room and good walking distance to Disneyland
Solid hotel, a bit outdated but it was good for a few nights and good walk to disneyland
Almost everything about this place was very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The grounds are clean and maintained. The staff are kind and curteous. The only thing is the pool needs some tlc but its still fine enough to use
Convenient location to Disneyland, clean , & friendly staff that had excellent knowledge of taxi services near hotel!
Like the two rooms and three beds. Our particular room had a sink with loose knobs and toilet poor flow
The outside looks great but the room smelled and felt like a basement, musty and damp, wiped off tables and chairs with a Lysol wipe and it was dirty, we were suppose to stay two nights but we left after one
Property is in okay condition. Property is maintained to make sure is in working order because everything was in working order. Unfortunately there were small things that individually were not issues but combined made the property appear very…the property needs to be renovated. For instance the door to the service phone in the elevator appears broken but the elevator itself worked fine. Either someone ripped a hole in the carpet in my room or decided to take a heart shaped carpet as a souvenir to remember their trip to Disneyland. Blanket on the bed was too thin to the tile on the bathroom floor was cracking. Small details that no one seems to have noticed to fix. The area was safe enough but unfortunately it’s a social problem but being verbally harassed by a homeless person was not pleasant. So be mindful of the surrounding area but I suppose that’s obvious. Property is within walking distance to Disneyland, 2 major pharmacies across the street, and Starbucks across the street as well. Free parking. So all good things. Staff seemed very helpful but I was only was with them for a few moments to check in and check out. The stuff mentioned in this last bit are positives. Willing to return to stay again if I visit Disneyland in the future.
The hotel was near and clean. The staff were very friendly! Lots of things to do nearby! Will stay here again!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, fair prices. Short walking distance to Disney parks. Worth the stay, we’ll be back.
Accommodating, happily fulfilled special requests. Kind, caring and relaxed staff and a lovely generally quiet property.
The staff was so kind and helpful. It was the perfect walking distance to Disneyland entrance. Would totally stay here again.
The distance to Disney
Older property but very clean rooms and suites within walking distance of Disneyland.
I very much enjoyed my 1 night stay and the convenient location to Disneyland
Great place and could be more eco-friendly
Though the property is a bit run down and dated, it was still a great place to stay. The front desk personnel were very helpful and were genuinely interested in my group having what we need. Would like to see better eco-friendly practices: - Don’t replace towels that are hung up; we got new towels and washcloths every day - Don’t take used soaps and replace with new ones every day Would like to stay here again when I’m coming to town.

Loved it!
Really nice hotel would definitely stay again
