Carlos is a great host, always looking you are having a great stay. Room was nice with an interior patio on the bathroom and a hammock next to the bed. Nice interior and exterior design. Lidia made us breakfast with great taste. I would have use the pool but too cold for me.

Our stay at Casona Origen was perfect for us. The room was big and airy and always stayed cool. The whole establishment has been renovated to a very high standard but without destroying the historic and cultural elements that are integral to it. The host Carlos was extremely helpful and always readily at hand through WhatsApp to deal with any concerns or questions. The staff were fabulous, they keep the place spotless and cooked a lovely breakfast each morning. They were very accommodating, friendly and cheerful. The outside area, pool, patios etc is beautiful, full of lush trees and plants and very peaceful. It was so nice to lay in the pool and listen to the birds chirping in the trees.

What a wonderful experience! Our flight was delayed coming in and Carlos waited up for us until almost 2:00am. And that was just the tip of the iceberg… He made great recommendations for things to do and see, and where to eat. He was there to help at every turn-even arranging a car to pick us up at the airport. The staff was friendly. The property is beautiful and private and just lovely. Not one but two pools. Beds are comfortable everything about it made for a terrific terrific stay. We’ll be back!

I like how the pictures are true to the actual place. Loved that it was spacious, clean and really easy to get to. When we didn’t like is the breakfast , but that’s just us. This could improve adding some eggs, waffles or something similar other than a meat bread. Communication with the property felt really easy and clear.

The area may look sketchy,but statistically is safe, and feels very safe too. Enjoy it!

We loved the design. Our little casita was ground floor and seemed like our own little cabana. The grounds were absolutely stunning. The landscaping, the pools, the sundecks, all the different trees were spectacular. We really enjoyed having all that space around the pool to lounge and relax. Truly on Oasis in the center of a cool city

El servicio del personal simplemente excelente! Lo aconsejo para quien viaja solo.

Todo muy lindo, la decoración, instalaciones, limpieza. Solamente recomendaría cortina blackout para las habitaciones; espejo de cuerpo completo. Pero todo super bien, excelente atención.

Agregaría un refri dentro de la habitación, una cafetera y agua. Fuera de eso la comunicación, limpieza y diseño increíble.

Tolles Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen.

Optisch ein tolles Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Frühstück für mexikanische Verhältnisse ganz gut. Es gab fertig belegte Bagel, Filterkaffee, Orangensaft, Ananas und Kuchen. Sehr bequemes Bett, ein tolles Bad und ein WC mit Popodusche. Ein Baum in einem kleinen Innenhof mitten im Zimmer und riesige Strelizien mit Blüten in einen weitern Innenhof vor dem riesigen Badezimmerfenster. Leider sehr dünne Vorhänge neben der Tür für die bodentiefen Fenster. Check-In und Check-out lief digital ab. Wir haben Carlos eher zufällig getroffen. Zu Fuß ist das Zentrum von Mérida in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Parken in der Straße vor dem Haus war kein Problem. Es wäre wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt gewesen, wenn wir nicht noch mindestens einen Mitbewohner im Zimmer gehabt hätten. Ich bin wirklich nicht zimperlich, aber wenn es im Kopfkissen schon mal knackt …. Aber gut, es waren bei uns nur 2 Nächte und wie ich finde nur eine Momentaufnahme.

La propiedad es un oasis en lo que es considerado la zona centro de la ciudad de Mérida. Su accesibilidad es muy buena; posee hermosos espacios llenos de vida y armonía. La atención es inmejorable y el desayuno delicioso. Gracias por hacer de mi estancia un tiempo muy lindo.
