Love this place
Excellent staff, property was nice & clean, one thing I suggest is extra sheets or blanket 😃
It looks really goodvin the pictures but swimming pool is very updated, the restaurant is not to sharming, but the room where we stay is exelent, lots of grifity on the street at norh side of the builing.
Super outdated, does not look like the pictures. They really need to remodel. Restrooms are horrible looking they look so old
The room Very clean. The staff very kind end friendly. I don’t like that they don’t have enough shade by the pools for the people that don’t like sun.
Big room but uncomfortable bed sofa and chairs wifi is the worst I have ever had I had to work from the lobby No water given can’t drink the tap water
Overall great stay
Stayed for 1 night while traveling through with my family. Check-in guy was nice and got our room in before check in (about 1 hour early). Suite was amazing! Clean!!!!! The view from balcony was poolside & beachside. Pool is noted as biggest pool in the city. Pool included barside & option included to pay upfront or charge room. Room included 2 beds. Stay included breakfast, it was outside so it was chilly. Food options were minimal. I did want to note that during checkin they are supposed to also provide you your pool towels. Check-in guy did not, so when I went to get them for our family, the female receptionist was very rude about giving towels even though we all had our bracelet on from check in (they remove ur bracelet at checkout). Then while going up the elevator after being in the pool, our key did not want to work (room key is also elevator key). The same female receptionist again was hesitant to assist and wanted proof of our stay, even though she gave me towels before my family went in the pool. Luckily another worker(possibly maintenance team) was walking by and stated he saw us during check in and he was the one who helped us with a new key. Overall stay was great, right off the beach and walking distance (about 2 blocks) to main streets where there is night clubs, restaurants, vendors.
The beds aren’t very comfortable and they only have a sheet it would be nice to have a light blanket. Staff is amazing tho and the property is very clean close to some great restaurants and main downtown.
We went downstairs to ask for additional towels they said they would bring them to our room they were never brought. Front desk lady was rude
I liked that all the staff was very polite and attentive to our needs. Very clean comforter and with all the necessary items on hand.
Beautiful beach to swim in love it
Customer service was just ok. When I arrived and checked in they only had one room ready. Afterwards just to get pool towels I waited like 10 mins just to get some towels. The people at the desk don’t ask the guest in line what they need or say we will be right with you. The linen in the room is worn out as well as the towels. The bed sheet and towels look disgusting. Don’t like that if the kitchen is used you have to clean afterwards or I would get charged for it. That is why you have house keeping for. I’m not on vacation to clean. I really like the service of having a spot on the beach with chairs. That was great! No issues there.
Love it clean, confortable, the food was good ,would like more choices the host and waiter's inrexelent
Wonderful employees. Great lobby and pool area. Perfect location and nice beach. Rooms could be updated, especially the beds.
At first glance, an impressive hotel, but proved to be an overpriced, very basic accommodation. The studio has no table or chairs or sofa. The only table and chairs are on the patio. The suite that we were upgraded to after complaining was adequate. However, the towels were frayed, the seal of the toilet leaked (in other words, waste water seeping out), low water pressure in the shower and barely any hot water in the afternoon. There is no internet connection in the room, even on the balcony. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Casablanca. You can find comparable accommodations for a fraction of the price. The staff in general was very nice. The pool is large and clean and the breakfast included with the room is excellent.
The beautiful ocean view more than makes up for any of Casablanca’s sins. I think my only lingering issue was the beds were very uncomfortable. Each side of the beds had big indentations from years of use. The restaurant is excellent, the wait staff was so nice, and the pool was a god send. Thanks for the great week!
Property was very nice, very convient, for walking. great restaurant across the street.
Its perfect!
Casablanca is a beautiful, clean, and safe place to stay in Guayabitos. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The beach is amazing...waking up to those waves crashing right off the balcony is an absolute dream.
Everything
We really enjoyed our stay at Casablanca resort. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when needed. The included breakfast was good. What really shined though was that they made the effort to keep the beach in front of the hotel clean from the algae that floated in every evening, unlike other hotels and resorts next to them that did not.
Excelente y muy buena ubicación
Liked this establishment! Very nice. A little run down but nice. Loved the check in ! Very very fast!
Expected more
Hotel is poorly designed, showering felt like a bath because water wouldn’t drain properly, broken window on the bathroom, not enough closet space and front desk was less than stellar
No me respetaron el pago en dolares y terminé pagando mas por pagar en moneda nacional
Wont be back
Worst drink ever at the bar. Mold in air conditioning unit. Shower has no flow and no hot water. Told the front desk and virtually no response.
The staff was very attentive and very polite we loved the beautiful ocean view from our room the breakfast was very delicious the room ,property ,beach , pool was very clean the only thing I would recommend is to implement two sheets on the mattresses and change the shower heads to a more efficient water pressure other than that I am looking forward to staying again with my wife at Casablanca for my next Guayabitos vacation! Thank you Casablanca!
Las mejores vacasiones
El mejor hotel en Guayabitos muy buen trato todo el personal muy amable.
Very helpful staff, great location. Some facilities are a little worn, but the hotel is making an effort to update. Good breakfasts and beach restaurant.
Clean and very well maintained. Right on the beach and close to everything
Great Vacation!
Great location, very nice staff!
THIS IS A VERY NICE HOTEL, ALL WORKERS VERY HELPFUL.
I had a balcony with a nice view and the room was big with a kitchen and living room. I loved it that it was in the heart of the city. The hotel has a nice pool and the beach it's just going down the hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the vendors, too annoying.
Lovely Place, Will Return
This a nicely located hotel right on the beach. We enjoyed the fantastic ocean view from the room. We rented a one-bedroom junior suite with two queen beds on the 4th floor. It had an AC unit in the bedroom and in the living room. The grounds are very nice and well-kept. Service and food at the restaurant were good, and the included breakfast buffet had various Mexican foods and made-to-order eggs. The wait staff was polite and attentive. Comfort: As is common in many Mexican hotels, the beds were hard and not all that comfortable for someone from the US. The beds only had a white sheet covering them. There were no blankets available inside the room. The sofa and loveseat were concrete with foam cushions and also not very comfortable. Cleanliness/Condition: The room we stayed in appeared a bit older and a little worn, but the bathroom and bedroom were clean. I appreciated the large closet and dresser. The kitchen looked a little rough but was functional. The plastic patio furniture was great to have. Unfortunately, there was bird poop on our patio that housekeeping didn't take care of during their rounds. We didn't complain though and just kept away from it and wore shoes out there. The bedroom safe was locked open on our arrival, so we didn't bother with it, and instead locked our valuables in luggage with a small padlock. English speakers: Few of the staff we encountered were bilingual, so be prepared to use your Spanish skills (or a translation app.)
The hotel was amazing it was clean and we felt very comfortable, the rooms are newly renovated very nice in general, the people where helpful and attentive. Will be back soon
The beach is excelent no stone just sand no waves and a lots entreteiments.
Nice place, on the beach. The only negative was the kitchen had no silverware or plates, and it had a coffee maker but no coffee or filters.
This place was perfect for a last minute getaway. The rooms are full suites with kitchen, dining table and living room. One of the beds in the room smelled if smoke and had a cigarette burn in it. After the first night, the room was cleaned but sheets not changed. We had to ask cleaning staff the following day to please change the sheets out. Upon checking in you pick a breakfast time for the remainder of your stay. The complimentary breakfast is amazing. There is a large area to choose from, from different dishes from typical Mexican cuisine to American with pancakes, cereals and fruit. All the rooms have an ocean side balcony. There's a large portion with swim up bar. The beach access is why we choose this place. It's beautiful and not packed. Only warning about hanging out at the beach or any table by the beach is that vendors will approach you non-stop. Every 5 minutes and sometimes 2-3 times. It's very annoying. Even with a rope barricade at the hotel for private access they still approach.
Great Ocean view. Good breakfast included. Screens on patio doors. Some of the room fixtures like the bathroom and kitchen faucets etc. are old and need updating. Wifi is not available in the rooms - maybe on the balcony if you are lucky! Unfortunately, the town burns garbage at their dump nearby about 2 or 3 times a week and the smelly smoke will drift into the whole town.
Ocean view, clean, central location, friendly staff
Beautiful location clean good food overall very nice hotel and location and the thing that I did not like at all was the bed was hard Could not sleep woke up every morning with a backache
I like every thing all are good good food goo customer service and excellent location
Great location, Front staff were not much help, under renovation, large room but very uncomfortable furniture in room and on deck. No coffe pot but a blender in kitchen.Courtyard and pool were nice. Restaurant food was so so.overall it was ok.
Family vacations 2019
The hotel was amazing it was clean and we felt very comfortable, the rooms are newly renovated very nice in general, the people where helpful and attentive. Will be back soon.
The manager for the cleaning ladies was very helpful. And very attractive might i add
Comfortable stay in Guyabitos
The space is large and open. There was AC which was helpful with the high humidity. My room balcony overlooked the beach, which made for some great relaxing time. The buffet breakfast was delicious. My 2 complaints are that the beds are not comfortable and the shower water pressure is lacking. Overall, great stay and would stay again if I am in Guyabitos.
They were under construction We have noises every morning We can't sleep or relax Staff very unfriendly
Every room in the hotel had a view! The rooms are bigger than the rest of the hotels I’ve stayed near there. But there’s no drinking water, they only have salt water coming out of the faucet. Also the rooms are outdated. Other than that everything else was perfect!
This is my 2nd time visiting Casablanca Resort and it was another wonderful experience. The rooms were very comfortable, and most importantly for me, the bathroom was spacious and CLEAN. The shower pressure excellent. The entire facility is great. The breakfast buffet has a variety of foods and very plentiful. The staff is professional, polite and very helpful. Easy access to beach, which by the way is awesome and is kept clean and free from garbage.Unlike several of the other places I noticed as I took my morning walk along the shore. My only recommendation, is to keep pool area cleaner and the pool itself clean. The guest are the ones that make it messy as I saw several people eating while in the pool and discarding their garbage nearby. Overall it was a great experience. I will be returning :)
Clean rooms, spacious, nice view, right on the beach, swim up bar, and pool is excellent for young kids. Would definitely stay here again.
Noisy as there was construction on the upper decks. Location is good.
The hotel needs a lot of renovations . A lot of things were broken in the room. The most uncomfortable beds ever
It was awesome
Great stay in guayabitos
Incredible place to stay, beach really at your doorstep. Staff nice but not very friendly, except for one. I would stay there again. Only thing I was disappointed with was that 2 of my family members arrived before the time they let use of facilities and they would not accommodate they not even to let them use restroom, even though they were going to b staying there.
Two nights in Calsablanca
The Casablanca hotel was located right on the beach and also had a great pool. Our room was not the best equipped. It did not have any soap, trowels, paper towels to do dishes etc. The person who cleaned our room did a very mediocre job.
Very Nice Resort Central Location on Beach
The hotel offers large almost condo-like rooms & suites. Layout is good and views from floors 3 to 5 spectacular. Amenities in rooms are limited. Couches are cast in place concrete with bed-like single cushions (may be second bed for families concept). Furniture cannot be moved. We were on 5th floor which is newest addition. Sense of "not quite complete". No prints or decor items; no lamps or tables; no coffee maker (ask at desk); 2 glasses; 4 plates etc. Rack rate for this suite is C$260. per night. The main restaurant and lobby bar are no longer open. The pool palapa bar/restaurant is reasonable & good. Staff are great. Many long-term winter residents mostly Canadian. Can be cliquish as most have been going for many years. One big issue - there are very few beach chairs or palapas. The long-termers get up at 4:00AM and grab all by putting towels etc. so they are reserved. Many are not occupied until late in the day. The hotel strives to be 5 star, and in Rincon de Guayabitis it is definitely one of the best. In the real world though it is a very nice 3 star. Over priced and under serviced.
The staff was not helpful and to a point rude. I had a cast to my left lower extremity and they did not offer any help to take luggage into the room. Renovations to exteriors in progress but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The views to the ocean and the two islands are gorgeous!!
good for family vacation
Great stay!
Ok hotel on the beach.
Stayed for 6 nights. They have nice balconies facing the beach. The breakfast that is included in the price of the hotel is not very good other than the fresh fruit. There are no hairdryer in the room so you need to go ask for one and it's only on a as need basis!!!! The kitchens in the suit are well worn...
Cada vez mejor
Este hotel siempre ha Sido mi preferido. Con el tiempo lo han modernizado y están quedando excelentes sus suites. Muy bien equipadas y sobre todo muy amplias
I believe is one of the best, if not THE best resort in Guayabitos beach. Every suite has an ocean view, the swimming pool is always warm, the beach is right there! What's not to like?
Buena ubicación. Excelente atención. Excelente vista.
Excelente
Todo agradable. Volveria sin duda
Excelente
