Beautiful quiet property. Lovely attentive staff. Spacious room. Loved the common areas - lounge, dining, rooftop. Will definitely come back.
Lovely place in the charming Getsemani area
Stayed with a friend 1 night at the Casa Santa Ana Hotel Boutique - Spa, which we both enjoyed very much. They welcome you with a free drink of your choice. They have a lovely roof top pool, which was a perfect way to cool down in the heat. They do some lovely massages and facial treatments, which we unfortunately didn't have time to try.The Garden and breakfast is gorgeous and the staff cannot do enough for you so can only recommend this place.
Great location Great staff that was very kind and helpful. Very clean
The ladies were wonderful. The room was modern and clear snd perfect for pur needs. The breakfast was delicious. The rooftop pool was lovely on the middle of tge hot afternoon. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it!
Staff at hotel were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Food was great, room service was awesome and would stay at this hotel again if I had to.
We were cheerfully greeted at the front door by staff. The hotel is centrally located to most eateries and just outside of the Walled City. We absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay at the Santa Ana Hotel. Highly recommend. You wont regret it.
Clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Nice rooftop pool.
Casa de Santa Ana is a family-owned boutique hotel in the heart of a lively neighborhood just outside the Old City. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Visiting Cartagena during a rare heatwave, with temps in the 90’s F, the AC in the room was a welcome relief. And they serve the best coconut limeade in the city!
Excellent location, staff was awesome along with morning breakfast!
Amazing!
City center easy access to old town Room was clean safe no one can enter into the casa Our toilet bowl was broken but was fixed we only met an English speaking person last day which was nice but we needed some things like an extra towel or needed help with operation of the tv that spoke only English and we were stuck no help place is nice but was looking for a new place not old
Top location to discover the Centro Historico
Cosy place with only five bedrooms. Small pool on the rooftop which was really relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Very close to the night life, nevertheless absolutely quiet inside. Friendly and attentive staff, However our room in the ground floor smelt slightly of damp, most likely based on the only opening or more correctly the shutters being part of the door (no further window).
Friendly staff made you feel lime you were royals. At last minute we decided to stay overnight at Playa Bendita, and staff called us to made sure we were OK. Comfortable and CLEAN bed. My new thing : a delicious welcome “limonada de coco” Higly recomend this hotel and a spa massage !!! Definitely will be back.
A little too green
We really enjoyed our stay but had no hot water in the shower. Additionally, they came to bring something to our room and unplugged our charging phones, perhaps to save electricity. Also, the AC was stopped at 75 degrees, again, we presume to save energy. All about being green but if I am paying for a nice hotel I expect to be able to use the power and have hot water.
Everything was perfect; location, facilities, and one special mention to the staff!!
Very cute colonial home with charm and character. Breakfast was prepared a la cartel and the pool added an extra touch to our stay
Casa Santa Ana was certainly nice, but overpriced for what it is. I had spent the first two nights in Cartagena elsewhere for less money and everything about Casa Santa Ana fell short in comparison. It was really the little things that made a big difference, we didn't have any soap in the room? You had to pay for water, being that you can't drink the tap water I expected the hotel to provide drinking water (at least a bottle a day?) The WiFi didn't work for the first day we were there and it was in and out for the rest of our stay. The first day/night we were there it took 10-15 minutes to get into the hotel as you don't have a key to the front entrance and have to use the knocker on the front door (I'm pretty sure the buzzer was broken?). All in all I'd say your money can definitely go further elsewhere.
The hotel is located in more of a local area but within walking distance of the old town area. It is a restored colonial home. The hotel on request provided transportation to and from the airport. The hotel staff made a great breakfast and were very helpful in providing us with a one-day guided tour of the city. We felt perfectly comfortable walking around the area. It was a much more relaxed environment than the tourist laden old town area.
Good breakfast, clean, quiet hotel. Very lovely courtyard. Not all rooms have windows other than one in the door.
The area was a little unexpected. Lots of bars and restaurants, but Noisy, lots of low cost hostels in area, not much shopping.
Great stay. Fantastic breakfast - super friendly staff. Nice clean room. Amazing rooftop pool area to relax in after a hard day walking around the town. Close to super trendy Plazo Trinidad surrounded by street food, bars and the street art. But only a short 5 minute walk to the Clock Tower. 100% recommend.
Beautiful and Tranquil Casa
Casa Santa Ana was awesome. I highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel. I'll would definitely go back if ever in Cartagena. Lived It!
Wonderful choice in Cartagena
Wonderful stay! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, the little hotel is gorgeous and cozy and always spotless. Perfect location as well. Can't beat it for the amazing price!
-Very quaint, clean, and chic. -24/7 staff
small charming hotel
a beautiful little hotel, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the location was in a part of the city that was full of live specially on the weekend
There needs to be at least one hotel staff on duty who speaks ENGLISH!!!!
The hotel was in a great location! The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!
I was so close to giving this place rave reviews until our check out experience. The staff are all very nice and the rooms were so cute. The location was perfect and we felt safe walking during the day and night. The staff don't speak English but that wasn't an issue for us (but may be if you don't know enough Spanish). Our check out was rocky when their machine wasn't working and they all of the sudden didn't accept VISA (all we carry). We left 30 min later than preferred for the airport because of this. But overall a lovely stay.
Wonderful hotel
Great location, excellent staff and service, delicious food, centrally located. Would definitely stay there again!
Casa Santa Ana - As lovely as it gets ❤️
Casa Santa is as lovely as it gets !!! Very chic yet homey. The staff starting from Maria Jose and all lovely staff were excellent . They also helped me pack my shopping excess!! Staying here allowed me to explore 2 neigborhoods. - Getsamani and the Walled City , The day trip to Gente de Mar was sold out online but Maria Jose was able to get me a slot !! Would definitely recommend Casa Santa Ana!!
The place is super nice. Close to everything. Breakfast is healthy and fresh.
Awesome boutique hotel. Great service and attention from staff, and perfectly located within Cartagena!
Feels like home
I had a great time. They took care of me from the moment I arrived until I left. Great breakfast! My facial and massage were amazing. I was pampered by the staff
Nice room, but service slightly lacking
Only there for 10 hours. Room and bathroom were both very nice, but service was lacking. No water available in room in a city in which you cannot drink the tap water. Three bottles of water in the minifridge were frozen solid (unclear if free or not). When we arrived to check in around 10:30pm, the night manager couldn't find our reservation, then tried to have me fill out and sign a form for a reservation for multiple days at a later point in the month with someone else's name on it. Took a while to resolve, but was all fine in the end.
Great boutique hotel in Cartagena
Real boutique hotel in the middle of the action. Super nice and efficient staff. Room was very quaint, quiet and comfy. A dream’s stay.
A home away from home
We stayed in their suite, which was really comfortable! Private rooftop pool and great breakfast were a plus! The neighborhood is lively but not loud with lots of food/drink options. Would definitely recommend :)
great stay
we enjoyed our stay in Casa Santa Ana , clean , very convenient location , very helpful staff , only problem that staff does not speak English
Getsemani central
This sweet casa was my home base for the weekend. I highly recommend staying here in the Getsemani neighborhood — it’s far enough (15min walk) from the extra touristy Old City but right at the center of a vibrant, safe and fun area. The welcoming staff were very attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Two tips: it is noisy in the streets (at least a Friday and Saturday nights when I was there) so bring earplugs to sleep. Also, the hotel offers a airport shuttle but charges a 300% markup! Take a taxi instead for 2,000 COP (around $4.25 USD)
beautifully quaint
Wonderful boutique hotel, beautifully done, wonderful staff and service. Great location for walking anywhere, made from scratch breakfast. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars as we had no hot water for 1.5 days. Highly recommend staying here.
Good location, friendly staff
Maria Jose is the administrator and she was a wonderful host. She picked me up at the airport and she was flexible with all my requests. The place is small, but charming. Breakfast is huge with local fruit. Wonderful experience.
Cosy small guest house
We loved our stay. The hotel is really sweet and the staff very friendly. They go out of their way to help.
Perfect Hotel in Cartagena
Thank you Casa Santa Ana for the most amazing stay in Cartagena. Maria warmly greeted us and gave us a rundown of the city. The location is perfect- right in the heart of Getsemani off the main square, on a quiet but safe street, surrounded by beautiful art/buildings. You are right near great nightlife so easy to walk home and feel safe (Cafe Havana is down the street), but also a quick walk to el centro. The staff at the hotel is so accommodating and nice. The (free) breakfast was delicious and authentic, kept us full all afternoon. The rooftop pool is clean, serene, with great views of the city. The beds were like clouds, the rooms are modern and clean with great decor. You feel like you are at a spa/oasis. The hotel golden retriever is also adorable. All of these amazing things for a very low and reasonable price. I will definitely recommend friends and family to stay here. Thank you!
Nice cute place, but not a boutique
The hotel is cute but it is not a boutique. The best thing they have is the staff, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, fresh juices and fruits every day along coffee and your choice of eggs etc. The room has a good size, bed was comfortable and AC worked well. The bathroom is small and there was no hot water, even after the staff tried to fix it. The place has only 5 rooms but because of the quality of the doors, the room has no sound isolation, you hear everything from outside and I bet everyone outside can hear what is going on inside, so I guess it not a good place for honeymoon. The "spa" area is ok, but the service needs improvement. After rubbing me with a kind of mix of oil and sugar, the lady asked me to get into my bathrobe and go to get a shower in my room downstairs what I did not want to do as I had no hot water. The lady removed the things they had in the bathroom upstairs so that I could use it, and the water was cold too. The swimming pool is very small, unless you have kids you probably would not consider getting into it. The area is ok, everything is close in the old town. In general the place is nice, but I would try something different next time.
Not close to the beach. Very nice people.
The only problem was hot water. Sometime it would take a long time for hot water or you would not have any at all. The hotel was very private.
Two thumbs up
Hotel staff was very helpful. Small hotel, very good, well appointed and nicely decorated. Great location,
Small hotel in funky neighborhood
The hotel is located only 100 feet from Plaza de la Trinidad which is a nightly gathering place for singers and musicians. There is music until about 10 pm each night. We had a first floor room on the street side so we heard the music.
Beautiful restored colonial home
Courteous staff Welcome juice Roof top pool Espresso machine for personal use! Great tv channel list
Perfect location, beautiful hotel, amazing staff!
Great location! You're close to all the action without being overwhelmed by other tourists and vendors. Everything within the walled city is walking distance. The hotel really felt like home - so comfortable, very clean, very peaceful... great little oasis. The pool is tiny, but good enough for a quick dip to escape the heat. The staff are wonderful! They're so sweet and helpful - very attentive. I'd highly recommend this place!
Lovely boutique hotel outside Cartagena's old wall
Lovely reception at Casa Santa Ana Boutique Hotel! Room and bathroom were awesome - great combination of furniture, fantastic bed, small but excellent/clean bathroom. Wonderful attention to detail in terms of interior decoration, very stylish. WiFi works well. On TV both Spanish as well as English channels. Small pool on the roof, including nice beds & chairs to relax or have a wellness treatment. Very friendly staff and a good choice of food and drinks. Very tasty breakfast! Security was well taken care of - a very safe and nice place to stay in a colourful and vibrant neighbourhood just outside of Cartagena's old city walls.
