Quite a lot of street noise in my room. Breakfast was fairly reasonable.

Unfortunately I stayed in this hotel because it said it had a gym, which it did not. It had a miniature treadmill and bike, neither of which worked. The room was also unbearably cold and the noise from the street was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. The noise was not the fault of the hotel, but the rest should be remedied.

They tried to charge me more than the reservation amount. There's a night club right next to the hotel. They had the music blasting all night till 3am. Every night.

Room far too small for my needs

Despite the staff being very lovely throughout my stay, the room I was given was awful. It was basically the size the of a store cupboard right next to the stairs where people head up for breakfast. As the hotel is an open plan design, noises and houses could be heard all through the night and was not a relaxing place to stay at all. The next door nightclub didn't help matters either by playing music until 12pm/1am. I stayed for 2 nights and picked the hotel mainly for its central location which was great. The room was not very clean, with in particular the toilet seat being very dirty despite having a piece of paper over to say it had been cleaned. The room was freezing cold. It did however have a well stocked minibar. The bathroom was so small that you could not even fully open the door. The bedroom also very small and there was barely any room to put my luggage. Overall the staff were very nice but the room was much too small and standards of cleaning need to be improved.

Good hotel considering the price, really close to la Candelaria and Campus France. Breakfast was fine and the room was pretty clean.

Good hotel, staff was friendly. Location seems good, only a bit noisy if you have a window to the street.

The bathroom is like a capsule, you can not even raise your arms without hit the wall or the door. The rooms in general aren't comfortable at all. We had to ask for a room change because a bad smell from the bathroom.

Close to Gold Museum but uncomfortable

I booked at this hotel because it is walking distance to the Gold Museum and other places I wanted to go. I was surprised to find that our room had no windows to the outside, only to a hallway. Thus, there was no ventilation what so ever. Also, this room was tiny for two people to the point that it was hard to move around, and the bathroom was so small that it was actually hard to use because there was barely room to stand or open the shower door. I am quite used to the noise of Latin America and don't expect a quiet hotel room, but the echoes of the people speaking at the front desk and sitting in the lobby after midnight definitely disturbed me. I can sleep through typical traffic and party noise, but it was hard to tune out conversations right outside my door. Also, there is a sign at the front desk suggesting that you let them know if you need transport to the airport. I thought maybe they might give their customers a preferred rate, but I found out after I was in the car and checked with the driver that the rate was more expensive than a cab would have been and was also not what the front desk quoted me. That may have been an error, though, because on the whole, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and concerned that everything was in order. There is a nice, sunny breakfast room on the roof level, and it seems there are rooms on a second level which might be better, but I couldn't say. All I can say is the only redeeming feature of this hotel is its location.

This has been the worst beds I have tried in my life and the funny part is the pillows were made from the same rocks (seriously not even metaphorically)

Great hotel, excellent location for tourism

Excellent hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. Hotel was clean and comfortable and provided a complimentary breakfast during our stay. Located right near La Candelaria, we were easily able to walk to all the museums we wanted to visit, as well as the city's main cathedral, the Plaza de Bolivar and the Casa de Nariño. Highly recommended if you are visiting Bogotá as a tourist.

Comfortable and Affordable Hotel in Bogota

Super attentive and friendly staff....called me by name during my stay...eager to make my stay comfortable. Very affordable, right in the heart of Bogota. Don't miss going to the top of Monserrate....beyond spectacular and the funicular is a short 20 minute walk from the hotel. The Museo de Oro is another must see.

Lower Quality, Excellent Price

Expect small rooms but with low prices. Definitely could be cleaner. Overall an adequate stay and good value in a decent location. Wifi was excellent until the last day when it became a little unreliable.

Staff is not friendly

I found a clean and comfortable room as expected. For personal reasons I had to shorten my stay 1 day and the staff refused to give me a refund argiuing first that it was not possible because I had payed with a credit card. Later they changed their explanation and justify their refusal as "penalty" for changing my original reservation.

Good price, good location but no more .

Not for Foreigners

The hotel staff wère kind, but not one person spoke English so they were unable to provide me with any information I needed to get around, or to even schedule a hotel shuttle. The safety lock to my room door is broken, and there was a huge window with a flimsy lock. I felt very unsafe at night. My last night of my stay a man was screaming in pain in the hotel for three hours. I had no sleep and I was terrified! :( I had no idea what was going on and I was too scared to leave my room. You can hear every noise from the street though your window even when it's closed. I wake up every morning unwillingly to honking of cars. To be complete honest, I think I would've had a better experience if I spoke Spanish. The staff seemed very kind and I really enjoyed the great breakfast every morning.

Nice hotel, small bedroom

The hotel is very nicely decorated, the staff is attentive, breakfast is standard (yogurt, bread, cereal, juice, eggs). However the room was very small, there was basically enough space only for the beds (there was 3 of us) and the bathroom was very small as well

Small boutique hotel great location.

We spend 9 days in this hotel it was a great experience, house keepers treat you like family, Room was alway clean early in the morning,breakfast was great all the crew were amazing,transportation from the hotel was on time and elegant,and above all the location is great is very close to all the main attractions in the bogota downtown. Thanks Casa Quinta for making my staying so good!!!

I really not recommend this hotel. They was so occupy only for my money instead of anything else. Breakfast cheap and bad. They wont allow anyone to visit you. No channels on tv.

Bad! Bad! Stay away !

Very bad service only try to get money from you. No matter how! My friend wants to visit me. They ask me to pay double for the room. Breakfast is cheap and bad service. Feels unwelcomed. The recepcion lied about the price and tryed to charge me twice. When i show them the price from the internet they changed it fast in order to ask me to pay more. They also tryed to charge me tax. All of you need to know that all tourists in colombia dont pay tax specially in hotels. When i told them i know it they agreed not to charge! Listen to me all tourists:::: stay away from that hotel and the robbing managemant!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do yourself a big favore !!!!!!!

Great location

Lots of reviews we read said it was on a sketchy side street - sure it was on a less busy street than some of the huge main streets but it was far from a dark alleyway that we pictured. Never had a problem and it seemed no different than staying downtown in other big cities. The 3rd floor terrace for breakfast was nice and we arranged for a day trip to the Salt Cathedral through the hotel which was easy and reasonably priced. Overall, great experience here.

Not great

The staff was very nice and breakfast was good but None of the amenities tgat were listed(sauna, jacuzzi, etc) were in working order for the 2 days I was here and part of the reason I booked which was a dissapointment and not fair advertising- I feel like maintenance should take 2 hours max, not be an indefinite ongoing process. Also, bed was hard, room was small and area around hotel is sketchy-wouldn't come again.

Small room helpful staff.

The single bedroom was a lot smaller compared to the one showed in the picture. The shower was barely big enough for a normal sized person. In general it was too cramped not to add the mattress was super hard. The staff was really nice, helpful and the design of the hotel was colonial that made the stay worth it.

Decent Experience

It was fine for what it was. the sauna was great. rooms small but cheap. walking distance to all shopping and cute neighborhoods. friendly staff. decent breakfast.

I expected more

Because of the reviews I expected more about the hotel. My room was not too clean - I found hair in my room and bathroom when I got in. Check-out was at 3pm but since 1:30pm I received at least 5 calls asking me to leave the room because they had another customer. If you stay in the first floor (my case), it might be difficult to sleep.

Reasonable Hotel In Central Location

I stayed in this hotel in the weekend of December 27th of 2014. It is a nice little hotel in central location of Bogota. All the historical places, like, La Canderlaria, Plaza Bolivar, etc. are easily accessible from this hotel. I made to every place by walking or by cycling. In regard to the rooms, they are not very fancy ones, but it has all the basic stuff. The rooms are small in size, but they are good for sleeping in the night and taking shower. The hotel has also sauna, spa and exercise room. These are not very elaborate ones, but serve the purpose. The hotel provides breakfast with eggs, coffee, orange juice and bread -- this was good enough for me. The staff in the reception are very helpful. Even though they do not understand English, but they make every effort to figure out your needs. Overall it is a nice basic hotel in good location.

The location was handy - had stayed at another hotel nearby previously and while this one was cheaper that's about the highlight. The room was dusty (I've got dust allergies so that was a problem), staff spoke zero English and it was probably the loudest hotel I've stayed in *without any atmosphere* for ages. Stay in the area (La Candelaria) but not here - unless you're just looking for somewhere cheap! Oh and the bed was rock hard.

Amazing staff.

Great service, good location but not so good st. Safe, close to many points of interest in the center of Bogota. Room and bathroom were very small, clean, tv reception was bad, same with wifi slow. I enjoy the staff very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel

I was in this hotel during my trip in Bogota, it's situated a walk distance from all big attraction in the old city (gold museum, monserrat, plaza della republica etc etc). the room was comfortable and clean but little bit small. the staff really nice and helpful in particular a girl at the reception call Andrea. only problem there is only one person that speak english fluently, but they can undrestand my horrible spanish and advise me on everything i can need. i would stay here again if i will come back to bogota!

No había cupo para hospedarme, aun con reserva

El hotel estaba lleno y ni siquiera pude entrar. Me dijeron que era un error de la aplicación y que no entendían cómo no habiendo cupos me dejaba hacer la reserva.

Habitación extremadamente pequeña( me la reservaron como triple). Olor a humedad INSOPORTABLE!!! Desayuno: PÉSIMO. Todos los dias de mi estadía tuve que solicitar toallas porque dejaban siempre una (reitero, eramos 3 y así pagué... por 3!!) . Ubicación: excelente. No es un hotel 3 estrellas, cuanto mucho 1 estrella. El personal MUY AMABLE, las instalaciones incómodas y no son lo que describen... no hay restautant.

Günstiges Hotel, aber laut

Günstiges Einzelzimmer, allerdings lautes Zimmer und nur spanischsprachiges, unfreundliches Personal. Zimmer sind um einen Innenhof herum angeordnet, daher sehr laut ebenso der Verkehrslärm. Frühstück ist sehr eintönig, es gibt nur Rührei, Früchte, einige Arten Kaffee und 2 Scheiben Brot. Nachorderung ist nicht vorgesehen.

Bon accueil, hôtel simple et plutôt bien situé, tout près des musées de l'or et Botero. Le quartier en lui-même est plutôt dans la partie populaire de Bogotà, les quartiers 'chic' se trouvant plutôt au nord de la ville - Chambre et salle de douche trop petites, manque de place et de rangement ; bruyant - en même temps le tarif est très bas - petit déjeuner simple mais correct, personnel aimable - installations : hammam, salle de sport, non testées

No era lo que esperaba

El hotel se encuentra bien ubicado en un lugar céntrico y muy seguro cerca de paradas de bus y cerca de lugares turísticos lamentablemente es lo único bueno ya que el servicio en el hotel es pésimo no existe un calidez humana de parte del área principal de recepción no son muy amables ni humildes ademas no existe palabra en lo acordado, ademas manejan una política ilógica en reservas y costos, y puede ser que te lleves una sorpresa, en la habitación no ofrecen mayor cosa no ofreciéndote lo básico, pésimo en general el wifi no es muy bueno y no en todos los lugares llega la señal ademas de que es muy lento e inestable la conexión, desayuno simple y sencillo pero puede no quedarte satisfecho no lo recomiendo en general el servicio es pésimo aunque en ubicación y comodidad confort dentro de la habitación es cálido y relajado

Decepcionado de la Hospitalidad

Mala experiencia el servicio en la recepción es pésimo lamentablemente tienen una política ilógica y mala para las reservas y no cumplieron con lo acordado, mucho cuidado porque se pueden llevar un susto con el precio y no cumplieron, mala administración, pésimo en general el área de recepción no tiene una calidad humana de atención al cliente y nada amigable, la limpieza del hotel es aceptable al igual que los servicios, el desayuno es muy simple y básico puede no quedarte satisfecho, la ubicación del hotel es bastante céntrica y muy bien ubicada lamentablemente no existe una calidez humana y amigable para volver a regresar al hotel ademas el wifi es pésimo por ratos conectaba y no en todas las áreas agarra señal.

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Das hotel liegt in einer exzellenten Lage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das leider nur spanisch sprechende Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Einige Zimmer sind etwas laut aber wir konnten nach der ersten Nacht problemlos in ein ruhigeres wechseln.

Buena ubicación para ver atracciones en el centro y en la candelaria. Pero el barrio no es muy bueno ni muy seguro de noche. Las habitaciones son demasiado pequeñas.
