Great boutique hotel in the heart of the city.

This is a very well located hotel, near La Carolina park, lots of restaurants and a metro stop. The rooms are comfortable and the staff extremely efficient and helpful. The only thing that surprised me was that there is no heating in the rooms BUT, even on a chilly, rainy day, we were just fine. And the price was unbeatable!

The only issue that could be better is if a fan could be made available as the room can be a bit warm at night.

Enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very clean and spacious. Easy to walk to the botanical gardens which was our objective. Lots of dining options in the area. The roof top patio was lovely.We would definitely stay there again.

First of all the staff is amazing! They were all very kind and extremely helpful. The hotel is super nice, clean and it’s exactly what I wanted, not a huge chain hotel with tons of people. The only thing is that they don’t have a restaurant and/or mini fridge so you have to eat out or bring something back. There are a few restaurants nearby though. (I knew that when I booked, just describing). They do offer breakfast which was pretty good before a long day of touring. I would definitely stay there again! I truly enjoyed my experience there. Casa Q is a lovely little hotel in a safe and convenient part of Quito, close to the Parque Carolina and within easy walking distance to lots of restaurants. The breakfast buffet is great!

Casa Q was great for our arrival to Quito. Transport from the airport was superb and overall staff was friendly and pleasant. The room was pretty basic, but met our needs. We arrived late and our baggage didn't make it. The hotel didn't have complimentary toothbrushes or other amenities to offer and all nearby pharmacies were closed. I

Everything was great. Very well equipped. Hot water at all times. Pricing was great as well. Carolina and other staff members were very helpful. Even if you don’t buy the breakfast option, you can take coffee or tea. Highly recommended.

Wonderful!

Our stay at Casa Q was wonderful! The hotel is clean and modern, and the area is safe with lots of dining options. The staff were very helpful in letting us store our bags after we checked out and lounge in the beautiful rooftop terrace while we waited to be picked up. The breakfast is pretty standard but being able to choose how your eggs are cooked is a nice touch. The only negative is the shower stalls are very small, but that is overshadowed by all of the positives. Definitely stay here if you are visiting Quito!

Poor Service, old towels, and terrible breakfast. If you want a cheap hotel this is ok. The only good thing is the mall is 10 minutes away, and you can get decent breakfast and food.

It can be hard to find the place for a taxi driver, so ask them for some help explaining where it is.

This is a American standard hotel. One of the best that I stayed at while in Ecuador. It's cheaper via online reservations or it will cost about $20 more a night.

Everything was great, the hotel is well located and is very artsy with a little art gallery. One thing to note is that there is no coffee/tea in the common area available while it’s listed as one of the amenities. Also I found the floor in the room to be a bit dirty and the shower is rather small. Also on Saturday night the music outside the hotel is quite loud until at least 2am. Overall it a great hotel with those small exceptions.

Casa Q was a wonderful escape from reality. We arrived during the protests, so even though the outside world felt chaotic, we felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay there. In addition to the hotel being gorgeous, the staff there were so kind, helpful, and informative! Would highly recommend and would stay there again!

Casa Q is a stylish boutique hotel in an interesting part of Quito. Nice alternative to the touristy old town but close enough that you can still visit. Would highly recommend this hotel.

lacking basic facilities

very good Area to Stay

Everything that I needed, in a simple, pleasant, streamline manner, without any of the extra useless amenities. The staff was kind, and helpful. I was even lent an umbrella when it was raining. Many great restaurants within the block its front doors face, as well as shops for snacks and such. A few blocks away is Mall Jardín and a mini China town where you can find anything you want. I plan on staying here when I come through again.

The shower is a bit small if you’re not average sized local, and the nights can get a bit cold if you’re not used to colder climates. But it was a great place to stay and move about in the city.

The hotel is right by a bunch of bars and restaurants so it is super walkable but still not on a main street which is great. The staff was also super helpful when I needed to extend my stay and when I needed to find a Covid testing center for my return trip home.

Feels like a newish hotel that’s getting off the ground, super clean, urban design with very helpful staff. Nice quiet location with a few restaurants nearby. The bed is amazing and the floor to ceiling windows ptovide great city views. Also, excellent value.

The area that Casa Q is situated is really fantastic. Safe and well lit. Lots of boutique bars, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Casa Q is a lovely hotel with nice rooms. We had the suite with 2 rooms and they were very clean. The general seating area was a bit dusty but not too bad. Kitchen and bathroom and bedrooms clean.

I loved this hotel! It was in a good location and had great amenities (loved the rooftop terrace during lockdown). But what really makes it special is the staff. Karol and Eric go above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming to guests. It's one of best places I've ever stayed and I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Quito.

Pleasant atmosphere, comfy bed and large windows. Needs more wall hangings in room.

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff speaks English, and they were so helpful to me when I had to make an emergency doctor's appointment at a nearby clinic. The only thing I didn't like is that the hotel is far from the historic center, but it is possible to get there for $5 or less in a taxi. Being further from the historic center also meant that Casa Q was probably a lot quieter!

Average No Frills Hotel

Hotel is good for the price. Don't expect luxury but it is a good no frills business hotel. Shower is very small so if you a larger person this not the hotel for you. Rooms are a bit noisy as the walls are thin with little noise insulation. On a free day where I wanted to sleep in, housekeeping woke me up twice as there were no "do not disturb" door hangers for the room. Area around hotel is good. Overall an average experience.

Great hotel and wonderful stay. The only thing I wish they had a small counter/store with snacks and bottles of water for purchase. Flight arrived at midnight and nothing was open.

Great place

Great location, safe, and staff very friendly and helpful. They coordinate transportation to/from airport, very efficient. The only recommemdation would be bigger showers, but otherwise the place is great. Definitely recommeded!

Not worth paying any price for Casa Q Hotel

I was given the key of the already occupied room when I checked in. They apologise and gave me a suite only to aske me to move out after 1 night. Then they gave me the smallest room so cold that I had to request a heater. You have to ask for a hairdryer as none in the room? The shower was VERY COLD! They sent someone when I complained about the cold shower to increase the temperature on that electrical boiler but he couldn't change anything! This hotel is not worth your money! I have moved out to another hotel in the historical part of Quito a lovely hotel 2 blocks from the Plaza Grande with abundance of hot water, gorgeous breakfast for less money.

Casa Q Hotel

The hotel organized pick up and drop-off to and from the airport with a fee. The pick up and drop off were on time so it was no stress to me. It is a bit far from most of the attraction (55 mins walk from the city centre) and there were many shops around and in terms of walking around it was quite dark and quiet. There was a great restaurant called Zazu 0.1km away; the food was exquisite and reasonably prized.

The hotel is very well located, you can walk to many places of interest and tourism in the city, one block away there is a Food Garden where you can eat all kinds of food at a great price. The hotel is clean and the facilities are practically new.

Perfectly modern for the price

Casa Q was very modern & chic. The hotel is small, but in a great area!!! Walking distance from the Food Contain Area and the el Jardin Mall. If your looking for an affordable hotel this is it. The roof top is nice & relaxing and the staff were friendly. Con: Shower was very small and there is no a/c in Quito so the room is hot during the day, but otherwise fine.

Clean Hotel with Great Staff

A great stay in this clean, pretty hotel. They have helpful staff and are located next to several reataurants. A rooftop community area with a great view is a bonus.

Nice Boutique Hotel

Very helpful staff (especially Agusta). Hooked us up with transportation to Mutual de Mundo and the airport. Great area for food and drink La Pradera Food Garden is really got around the corner. If you are into craft beer, Sinners is three door down the street and Santa Rosa Cervecería is walkable.

Griendly, helpful staff. A hotel they organized gor me at 5am did not show up, but probably that's the taxi driver and not the hotel's fault. Very close to the big park La Carolina, great for a jog or stroll through the treed park, and the big mall is right next to the park. Good food court at the mall.

Affordable stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a 2-bedroom family room. Since there are no heaters or AC in Quto, the room was a bit chilly at night. The walls and windows are very thin so you can hear everything that is going on outside. The only problem was that sometimes there was not enough hot water and the shower was lukewarm. Breakfast was very basic. Room, towers and sheets were clean.

Clean, Modern Bargain Hotel with Limit Amenities

Casa Q is a great bargain, as long as you understand the trade-offs. It is pretty much brand new, and a chic, modern design. The rooms are fairly large, clean, well-lit and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was fairly limited, but they will cook you a couple of eggs to order. On the down-side, there is no climate control, other than opening your window. The shower is the size of a phone booth, and there is no hair dryer. One of the best restaurants in the entire city, Zazu, is right around the corner. The staff was generally very friendly and helpful. They also have free garage parking if you are renting a car. For the price, it's a great bargain overall.

Great little hotel on a quiet street

Great little hotel in a quiet residential area, but still just steps away from restaurants and bars. Recently completed (earlier in 2016) so everything is spotless. A couple of communal areas and a rooftop makes for good places to hang out

Very good option

The hotel is less than 6 months open but operates efficiently and professionally, staffed primarily by enthusiastic young interns. All of the facilities are clean and the dining room offers a varied breakfast buffet. We had a pre-dawn departure on the last day but they still put together a continental breakfast for us hours before the regular opening.

Quito In class

My family and I stayed at Casa Q for the night. It was very classy, quiet, and comfortable.
