Best hotel in tulum

Amazing week end getaway with my wife, best hotel in tulum by far. Impossible to come back to tulum and not staying in casa malca! Congrats guys and all staff

AMAZING property with even better staff. Would recommend. Beaches were beautiful, spa had a cold plunge, sauna, steam and jacuzzi that we utilized everyday. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Shops and restaurants surround the area making it a great location. Hope to be back some day!

The hotel was really nice, and the beach area was the best of tulum. The front desk was also amazing to us and the whatsapping was so convenient. The only hiccups we had were that breakfast took over an hour to come to our table, while other tables received there’s first even though they arrived way after us. Also, the beach service was slow on the second day. Otherwise we’ll be back and we can’t wait for the return!

Wonderful. Beautiful and well decorated property. Very friendly and professional staff. Food was delicious. We fel very welcomed the moment we set foor on the property. Highly recommend for adults and families.

Casa Malca exceeded every expectation I had. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the art pieces are just exceptional. The staff offers the best hospitality I have experienced in my many trips to Mexico. I will be returning soon to Casa Malca!

Casa Malca is a truly unique hotel. Beautifully appointed with incredible art. The rooms are fantastic and the staff very warm, welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend it for a stay in Tulum

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Hotel is nice but very quiet, absolutely no vibe. Food is good at breakfast but the service is TERRIBLE…. Very slow. Second time at the hotel… most likely the last time.

Expected a lot more from this hotel. Food was average. Not a pleasant smell in the room shower. Nice art gallery. Rooms are decorated nicely. Overall an average experience. Will not come back.

The whole property is amazing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to whatever we asked of them. The unique artwork really sets it apart from any other property that I have stayed at in the Caribbean.

Beautiful large property with well maintained grounds. Quiet away from everything so much better to have a car. Area is super expensive (like London or NYC or maybe more). Huge rooms. Full breakfast.

Nice property, friendly staff

Great resort. Didn’t get to eat at the main restaurant annoyingly as there were events that meant that other guests were not able to attend - was quite disappointing.

As soon as we walked in the property they made sure we were welcomed with a refreshing drink. We arrived at 11am and our room was ready with a beautiful welcome note for anniversary. Alejandro our server at the beach was always so attentive and went above and beyond to make our day pleasant. The breakfast that is included with the stay was full of pastries, fruit, appetizer and an entree. The staff at the beach, restaurant and lobby were always asking us what we needed. We went with our 10 month old baby and 4 year old daughter and they loved the pool, beach chairs, and all the art throughout the property. For sure it was an unique boutique hotel!! Will definitely recommend it to all our friends and family and will come back soon

The best in Tulum

The was my 3rd visit to Casa Malca. I went for the birthday and they treated me so very well. The service and staff are the best in Tulum.

I loved the friendliness of the staff. We celebrated our 1 year olds birthday here and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The resort was always clean and well taken care of. The food was prepared well and tasty. Artwork was amazing. Very nice place!

My 6 night stay was ok. I didn't love the hotel and found things to be cheap and tacky. It also smells of mold because they have all these old furnishings and rugs everywhere. The AC unit in my room, 203 smelled of mold. The water on the first day also taste like mold. The beach is nice and the breakfast was very good. They have a nice spa area that you can use for a fee and i had an experience of the lights being turned off on me and then a lame explanation from management like i was a child and didn't know how spa services go. I wouldn't stay again and i wouldn't pay as much as they charge to stay here.

Superior service form the entire staff. They go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Love this hotel!

We've stayed here multiple times and the service and hotel are always excellent.

I love it! But…………… it’s at the end of the strip, so it’s a longer walk to get to the center. Taxi drivers are everywhere, but they over charge tourists these crazy prices.

You got it with my card for your four-day holiday, which I bought for 2177 $, 2300-odd dollars have been withdrawn, I don't think I will buy anything with you again

Best place to stay!

Stayed here for 4 nights and will say it is hands down an incredible place to visit! From the staff to the views, the decor, just beautiful. The ambiance and SERVICE is LEGENDARY. The atmosphere felt very relaxing, the food was delicious! Casa Malca is a once in a lifetime kind of place. Thank you so much!

Best Luxury Hotel

Best hotel we have stayed in a long time very amazing staff

This place was better than expected. The staff was super attentive and friendly. The room was always spot on clean and the food was excellent. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Great stay, will be back!

We stayed one night at casa Malca and arrived at 730 pm. Upon arrival it was pouring down rain and the grounds were really muddy. There is no cart service, so basically have to walk. It’s not too far of a walk but after a long plane ride, long drive and rain.. it would’ve been nice. Since we arrived so late we asked the gentleman at the front desk if we can have a late check out- he advised 1 pm would be the latest. We agreed. At about 1240 as my husband and i were packing up, the bellman, manager and the housekeeper came to our door. We advised that we were given late checkout for 1 pm and we were packing up our things. They then asked to enter the room to check the minibar- we agreed when he was done they just stayed in the room watching us pack up our stuff- to help with our bags. It was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel- let alone one that is not cheap. Just straight up rude. The hotel grounds are very nice and we did have an excellent experience at ambrosia. I just cannot get over the invasion of privacy- therefore will never go back. Also- lots of mosquitoes but that’s common during this time of year.

Decor was fantastic

There was a lot of great art pieces and the hotel staff were very polite and professional.

Great staff service Located at the end of the tulum strip so nice and quiet. They are constantly cleaning the beach. Only thing i did not like was the room service burger

I paid for an ocean view but when I arrived at the property they claimed an ocean view was not an option. I showed them my booking with Expedia that said “ocean view”. They said that they can’t control how Expedia describes the room. My room had a view of trees. The only way I could go for 10 days was to take my work with me. Working was almost impossible because the WiFi crashed repeatedly. The power also went out several times. Both showers in my room backed up. I was taking showers in an inch of disgusting backed up shower water. I told them about the issue but it was never fixed. I had to get out of there and left 3 days early. They refused to give any sort of refund.

The nicest resort ive ever stayed in. The rooms were gorgeous and the property even more amazing. The staff here were so friendly and accommodating ahd made our stay perfect. The food in tulum was some of the best anywhere and everything we ate at casa malca was no exception. Not one bad thing to say about our entire week.

Everything was great except there wasn’t no TV provided in the rooms or on the premises !

Staying Here is a MUST!!!

All around great service. The energy around the hotel is so nice, calming and relaxing. Everything you need is within walking distance and the rooms are very spacious and comforting.

This is a very unique property with lots of art. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped us with any trips we wanted to take and made everything easy and relaxing. The property is amazing and the food is world class.

Beautiful place

We have stayed here for 1 day and we enjoyed it, beautiful design, a lot of art, great pool, nice breakfast. Loved the experience and I would return Just some minor things I disliked like the mold smell from the room (comes from the humidity and it’s very common in Tulum hotels) And the fact that there was no water running at all after 11 pm, wanted to take a shower, brush my teeth etc and I couldn’t. Also the fact that I was charged 220 pesos for the breakfast tips. It’s the first hotel where this happens

Perfect. While some places charge the same, Casa Malca actually delivers in all areas. This is where I will be staying next time.

The hotel was magical with so much to experience. The staff too were always willing help. It was an awesome and beautiful experience. Not sure I can stay at any other hotel in Tulum.

Terrible room, dirty and leaks everywhere

The hotel is beautiful and I loved the art. Check in took about an hour which seemed excessive but everyone was nice. The beach area attracted a douche crowd, but overall the place is amazing. I would definitely stay again.

Casa Malca is special

Hotel is very unique in its design, decoration and installations. I felt that the reception staff and the guided tour before being shown to your rooms was a bit over the top and forced but maybe some people like that. The rooms are very spacious but ours didn’t have a balcony or terrace and so you feel disconnected from the outside world when in the room. The food from the lunch time restaurant was excellent but like many places in Tulum, prices are extortionately high. I believe that if the restaurants of the hotel applied discounts for guests it would be much more likely that you would consume more there but with such high prices we preferred to pay the same type of price but eat out where there was more night life. Breakfast in the morning was great and included in the price of the room. Obviously they charge you service separately. The beach of the hotel is immaculate and right in front of the sun beds and pool. Its time they invested in new furniture for the sunlounging areas and they were old a bit dirty But in conclusion the place has a special vibe

Outstanding service and hospitality

Tulum experience to the next level. Outstanding hospitality, customer relations, top-notch breakfast, gorgeous beachfront and pool areas, and fast service. The concierge and Front desk were very helpful only experienced or even better compared to established 5-star hotels around the world.

Amazing Property!!

Amazing property!! Beautiful, and clean. My only concern was about how slow to respond the staff was to the mosquito problem we had in our room/bed... My body was bitten really bad and we didn't get any help/relief until our last night.

I heard about this hotel as photogenic luxury beach front one but it was more than that. Room was so spacious and so luxurious and bed was super comfortable, huge couch baby the window, famous art on the wall… I also enjoyed beach walk

Birthday spurge but worth every penny for a unique and romantic luxe eco ambiance. Service was great and the cuisine at both Philosophy and Ambrosia were superb. The beaches in Tulum are now lined with endless amounts of seaweed which makes it unappealing but the hotel does try to minimize it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples.

Problem with electricity, lights with go off some times

Casa Malca is a nice property, however they could improve on customer experience. I would expect a certain level of service when paying $1K for a room. Instead we were told at check out that there would be a fee of $50 because makeup was on a bath towel. Makeup comes out in the wash and a new towel doesn’t cost $50 if you needed to replace it. We will NEVER return.
