Nice and Cheap Stay in Condado

Hotel is conveniently located in Condado. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back and stay there.

I always had to ask for a room service to clean my room. I always have to ask for paper toilet front desk reception was never there.

No parking available. Ok hotel.

The hotel was run down. Bed were comfortable but carpet was dirty. Small fridge in room was dirty. They advertise in hotels.com as having parking available but they have no parking. I only chose them for “having parking” and ended up having to go to a private parking and paying an extra $35 to park.

No one at th desk for most of th time … I booked for 4 days and I cudnt stay for more than two days dues to no room cleaning and bad bathroom. And when I asked for refund as I wanted to leave th hotel … he refused and hardly cared abt my inconvenience… so I lived out to a better hotel for th rest of my vacation

The place was noisy and dirty.

Not Pet Friendly. I travel with my dog all the time and I’ve never had a problem at a facility until here. I reserved it because of location but after two nights I was told late afternoon I had to leave. Housekeeping, for whatever reason, created photos claiming feces - 1) he’s house trained 2) he’s a trained service dog 3) I really don’t know why but pnly one person stated it happened, no witnesses just doctored photos. I left and stayed a much better place. They get 1 star for a dark cavernous room and poor treatment and service dog discrimination. Good location.

The room is dark and needs updating but not bad if you need a cheap place to stay for a couple of days.

Nightmare

Unable to speak freely on the phone inside your room, front desk will knock on your door to say to lower the voice. Had to whisper on the phone. Glad the nightmare is over!!!

Don’t sleep on this property ! I loved it , the guy who checked us in was amazing ! They room was clean & the property was close to everything! Gated property and about 15 safe min to get to La placita! Bonus beach was a block away ! Love my new fav place to Stay in condado!

Family owned. My room was nothing fancy by any means but for the price, location and kindness they showed, worth it. A low-key place to stay if you don’t care about staying in rooms or using any amenities and just want to explore the area. Humidity, paint job was bad and they won’t clean unless requested. You will have access to another owned property with a pool (which I didn’t do). The location is safe, good area and honestly, I’d book with them again. It was nice to have the privacy, and I felt safe and comfortable as a solo-female traveler.

It wasnt a bad hotel. It just wasnt for me. I did change hotels and did not spend the night. The staff was very helpfull upon check-in and the hotel was walkable to almost everything. The room unfortunately was small and not for me.

Far from fancy and comfortable but met my needs for a one night stay.

I’m giving this place a 2-star rating solely because of its cleanliness and lack of proper introduction to the amenities. I didn’t receive a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign like other guests, and there was no information provided about WiFi accessibility. I had to request a change of sheets because the ones on the bed were filthy, and the bathtub was dirty with hair left around it. Additionally, while the cleaning staff collected the towels, they didn’t replace them until I specifically requested it. Overall, the experience was disappointing and lacked attention to detail.

This place is the most unique and down to earth hotel to stay in near Viejo San Juan . I highly recommend anyone that is want to go and doing activities to stay here. The staff is amazing They are very friendly and also gave some pointers to do while my stay especially Eddie who was such a great help due to the power outage at my stay he’d make sure no only me but everyone at the hotel was safe and also had lights or candles or anything that they needed. I will be coming back. I’ll be recommending this place to all my family and friends. Thank you, Casa De Inn I’ll be back soon

The accommodation is commendable, yet there is room for improvement. I hoped for more attentive room service, as we had to request towels during our stay. Additionally, the room was cleaned a day prior to our checkout, despite our nearly five-day stay.

The property was private and in a very nice area within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The area was noisy at night and early mornings. You can hear outside conversations. The room was tiny but it had a good bed and it was super clean, but it looked really old and needs updating. The staff was friendly.

I was happy with my stay. Have I stayed in more modern places with crazy amenities ...yes. They are super expensive and I found many ( Marriott, DoubleTree and Hilton) to have the very same issues people were complaining about here.My experience was different because my mindset was different , If you come to Puerto Rico it's to be outside enjoying the island. Believe me I was not going to pay the avg price of 400 to 950 a night at those hotel chains. Nope my money went to eating at the best places supporting local businesses, traveling and spending my time on the beach .The bed was super comfortable,the AC was so cold and the shower had great pressure. All I needed was a decent place to sleep on a last minute trip. BTW this place was packed as well as other three inns.Life is to be lived outside ...Happy New Year.

The hubby and I stayed at this location for the Thanksgiving week. Check-in was easy. The staff we encountered was courteous. The immediate grounds were well kept. The room itself is very basic, but was clean. There was no fridge or microwave in tne room(there is a microwave in the open area/courtyard). No washcloths was provided and housekeeping cleaned the room once for our stay(we stayed approximately 8days). Honestly, there really isn't parking. There is a parking area within the property, but I think thats where the employees park. This hotel is within walking distance to several eateries, pharmacy and the beach! If you are on a budget and looking for a clean, relatively safe and convenient, this is the hotel for you! It is no frills/basic. But clean. Granted, this hotel has great potential for more, but it's a bargain. Be advised that there is no armoire to hang your clothes. When asked they can provide an iron, but no ironing board. There is an ice machine on the premises. For a fee, you can get laundry service. I feel if the owners invest in some updating, place a fridge/microwave/armoire in the room, that would be great. For starters. The A/C in the room worked really well. The pillows were great and the bed was comfortable. Again, this hotel has sooo much potential. It just needs some TLC. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family on a budget.

No parking unless you pay hot water was hit or miss dirty rooms no daily room service small rooms nowhere to sit in rooms except bed no microwaves refrigerator dirty in uncleaned floors outside sitting area full if mosquitos. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY by the time you finish paying for everything on your own you can stay at the Hilton

Not satisfied

Conveniently located near the airport. The hotel shares staff with another hotel 2 blocks away, so there was no reception person there when we arrived, and the gate was locked. No hot water, and no coffee in the morning as was promised. Pricey for what we got.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I left for another hotel. Disgustingly dirty, no towels, lied about it being a family run, dark, no desk help, did not feel safe.

A little outdated, but very clean and comfortable. You don't go to San Juan to stay in the room all day. I've stayed at LaConcha, payed 3 times the price only to find a deas roach in my bed.

You get what you pay for

Parking is "available at a cost" which was $140 for 24 hours. Room is very run down with a loud window shaker air conditioner. Check in was difficult as there was a sign to go to their sister hotel. Went there and no one was there either to help. Finally found somwone who said to go back to original hotel and someone would be there. I wouldnt go back. Consider a more expensive hotel that includes parking!

Live it but hard to find

It was a peaceful stay and you can’t beat the price. However it was a very small hotel room with a curtain for the bathroom. It was great for me and my husband but I could see it not being everyone’s cup of tea. Right next to the beach felt safe the whole time.

Need a more convenient check in procedure, waited for 2hrs just to get our key. Apparently the front desk is on break from 8-9:30 so we need to wait till he’s done on his break before we can get in. But overall it’s pretty decent room. Close to everything

The place wasn’t very clean (there were stains on the towels and the first room we got had flies on the bed). Although they let us get a new room which didn't have these issues. The location is fantastic, excellent for seeing the city.

The price is good ,you need to park at the marriot keep parking price in mind 25.00 per day but no updates have been done st this property other than tv and ac unit there sister property canario is nicer

Dirty No Service he doesn't change the towels and he doesn't clean the very dirty room.

It's a good place to stay, near to everything and in a safe area. I put 4 starts because of the location, i felt safely. They dint have parking lot, so be ready to leave your car around the area.

Door lock issue

There was one employee who had to run between two sites. My main concern was the lock on our room door could have easily been breached just by giving the door a push. I was able to block the door to feel secure in my room.

It was beautiful and amazing!! The rooms were so cozy and refreshing away from the heat.

This is a locally owned inn. I had stayed here before and always enjoyed it. It’s good, clean and affordable. Great location to shops and restaurants in El Condado. It’s very basic but if you are looking for an affordable place in one of the most visited tourist areas in Puerto Rico, this is a good place to stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I picked up the key, saw the room, closed the door. Couldn’t stay there. The staff was friendly but it was not what is pictured. Microwave is outside along with the reception desk. Very scary looks unsafe. It is centrally located.

This room did not appear as a picture subscribe. It was very unclean moldy smell of smoke for a non-smoking room and very uncomfortable left the same time as check-in and rent it another room

Only bad thing I can say is that there was no parking . Besides that I enjoyed my stay !

Dirty rooms, seriously outdated, lied on website, free breakfast was nothing but coffee, free parking was finding your own space somewhere in the street good luck, staff was not helpful or accomodating and not on site 24/7, place was hard to even locate, many things didnt even work. Worst place i have ever stayed at and very overpriced.

The unit was not what was advertised during booking. Room was dirty, smelled like urine, walls had God knows what splashed on them, mold all over walls and ceilings, completely disgusting. I snapped pictures! had to rebook an airbnb and hand in keys in less than 24 after check in. Never again.

It is very simple. Some humidity smell. Staff was very nice and friendly.

The place was very nice and small and cute and cozy. The place was kept nice & clean. Kept very secure with the locked cage door to the compound. If checking in late after 10pm, you would have to call the number in front, but somebody always answers and register with no problem. Very accessible to eateries, shopping, bars, and beach. Only 20 min from airport and 10 min from Old San Juan. I liked the affordable price. Only thing I did not like is the surrounding areas. Some walking areas around the hotel, there are a number of homeless persons, and bums, and sometimes some areas smell like urine. But it’s not the hotel’s fault.

En mi caso pude obtener en buen precio para la ubicación que tiene . Está súper centro de todo . Pero el detalle que no sea 4,5 estrellas es que está un poco viejo deberías de regarlo un poco mejor . Pero por lo demás , servicio y locación perfecto 😍

Not Happy this time

I have stayed at this place many times and usually it is great. This time not so great. I had 3 people and they gave me a king size bed. It was awful. I didn't sleep at all. They should have called me and told me that was all they had and I would have went somewhere else.

Great service

Our room was not cleaned. Sheets were not changed nor did we get clean towels. There were no staff members at the front desk to ask for clean towels. There was only one staff member, wish I knew his name, that was helpful the first day. Didn’t see him again after our first day. No signs showing where the hotel was. The lobby was unkept.

NEVER AGAIN! I LOST SO MUCH MONEY!

Your company has terrible customer service! I had a medical emergency a month before the trip and was not allowed to travel as per my doctors. Your company and the hotel refused to change my trip dates! I didnt want a refund just to change my dates and both this company and the hotel refused to change my dates!! I am outraged that an exception could not be made in this case!! I even offered to submit my medical records as proof and still no one would honor my request! I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH HOTELS.COM NOR BOOK A STAY AT CASA DEL CARIBE EVER AGAIN!!
