Absolutely Love this place..can’t wait till my next trip to Verona

Beautiful Casa Babbuino

I spent 3 nights in the Surf Room & I cannot recommend it highly enough. This guesthouse is a haven especially after sightseeing all day. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Windows open to the garden courtyard so it was quiet & nice view. Kettle, fridge & TV is always great when travelling solo. You also have access to downstairs kitchen. The bathroom is big with walk in shower & there’s a hairdryer. The owner Marco was helpful & lovely to chat with. If you’re coming to Verona this is the best value for money & only about 700m walk from Vescova train station. Only 15-20 minute walk into old town. Only downside would be there is no lift & my room was on 2nd floor. Didn’t matter to me.

Nice garden and communal kitchen maintained by clients only. Our room was on a second floor without elevator .Stairs were difficult to handle for us late seventies and mid eighties. City center is a good 20 min walk , buses available .

Extremely well-maintained, thoughtfully designed and decorated space with beautiful rooms and entrance foyer. The owners were warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Within easy walking distance of the old town, some excellent dining right nearby and quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommend for anyone looking to visit Verona and would certainly return!

A great hotel with its own atmosphere where all is filled with baboons :) location is only 10 min walk from the ancient city walls and the whole hotel is very cosy.

It isn't just a hote hotel – it is a unique, fabulous experience! Perfection on all levels. It's a stunning space that seamlessly blends the atmosphere of a gallery with the warmth of a home. The staff, Luigi and Flor, were extraordinary.

Room was so lovely, interior is 10/10. The receptionist was nice and informative. The location is convenient, walking distance or easy bus access to the city center. The property also has its own garden and kitchen facilities. There are restaurants and cafes close by too. 1 tiny thing, website mentions Iron and adapters are available on request - which was not the case.

Fantastic pearl in 15 minutes walk from historic center of Verona. Nice and unique design of every corner of Casa simply amazing. Jelena that met us at reception gave us so many tips and information regarding the city, what to do and what to visit. It's like we had our own guide for 2 days. :) Backyard with wonderful grapes and many other herbs and plants is like an oasis for tired travelers. If you book Casa you never will be dissapointed. :)

Welcoming in every way

I stayed there for two nights with my boyfriend as part of a stopover and were very impressed at the lengths the staff and the owners went to to make us feel welcome and included. The room was also very spacious and the communal garden was a very nice touch.

Beautiful accommodation

Nice place

Lovely room but the air conditioning didn’t get the temperature below 23 degrees. The car parking is off site in a public car park. Our hire car was damaged in a failed theft attempt. It’s a nice place to stay. We’ll return when the weather is cooler, without a car.

The room we stayed in was clean and had fun decor. The outdoor sitting area was very nice to use in the evening. Friendly and polite service.

If you want excellent value for money when staying in good sized, individually decorated, comfortable, themed rooms and want a warm, friendly welcome with all the advice you need, then Casa Babuino is the place to stay in Verona. The hotel is in a cosmopolitan area called Veronetta, about 15 minutes walk from the city centre, but there is a very good bus service right outside the door. Plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants nearby. The fantastic standard of accomodation and facilities offered (bag storage, kitchen, garden area etc) make this unrivalled for value for money in this wonderful city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Verona and finding this amazing hotel played a big part in that.

The design and decor, the eco friendliness of the products. The place was beautiful and I really recommend it.

I loved this place and highly recommend it. It is newly remodeled and very cute and quaint. It is within walkable distance to the main Verona attractions. I really enjoyed staying here and would come back for sure.

Lovely, well equipped room

Lovely room with en-suite. Plenty of space, air con, kettle, hairdryer all in the room. There was also a kitchen available for guests to cook with plenty of pots, plates, cutlery and glasses - perfect for a chilled night in with dinner in the lovely terraced back garden. Fridge also had allocated space for each room to store items in. The hotel itself is a 10 minute walk into the old town and 10 minutes from Verona Porta Vescova train station making it ideal for travellers without a car.

A little Verona gem. The room was spacious, bed very confortable, a lot of space to put your clothes, tea, coffee and water in the room. Air conditioning was working properly oh and the shower was marvelous ! The garden is super pretty, the kitchen is well stocked too for all your meals preparation. In the neighborhood there are a few bars and cafes, pharmacies, groceries, etc

Great place

We loved our stay. It felt like a home away from home. I wish I knew how good the shared kitchen facilities were before booking as we would have utilised them more! Cute shared garden too. Our room was big and clean. I would return. Only downside is its a little far to walk into the centre but theres a bus stop right outside!!

Very nice

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Verona, the hotel was amazing. It has a real cosy vibe to it. We stayed in the surf room which was awesome, beautifully decorated. The owners were really nice and super helpful. You couldn’t ask for a better location, the bus stop is just outside so it’s really easy to travel around or roughly a 10/15min walk to the city centre. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the ‘Surf Room’ and had a very lovely stay. The room was spacious, super clean and fun! The owners Marco and Beatrice were very helpful and kind - they helped us with transport questions and had a lot of recommendations for the city. The stay also included a kitchen downstairs full of nice treats and a coffee machine, I’d really recommend this stay

The hotel is located in a neighborhood populated with SriLankans. Therefore, one can find wonderful, inexpensive places to eat, and supermarkets with products used for cooking SriLankan food. The walk to the center of the town offers a lovely passage. It took us (physically fit) 20 minutes. Several busses pass in front of the property. Tickets can be bought on-board.

The location was perfect, the room was big and super clean, the whole place was cozy and very charming. When we arrived we were welcomed by the host Marco, he was very nice and friendly. We definitely recommend this place for anyone going to Verona.

Carino, ma troppo rumoroso (la camera verso la strada) e non pulitissimo

Foi tudo excelente, atendimento, quarto e limpeza. A única coisa é que os quartos ficam no andar de cima e não tem elevador. Se você estiver com malas pesadas vai ter que fazer um esforço.

Casa Babbuino è sorprendente. Accogliente come una casa, le camere hanno carattere e stile. Sono stato veramente bene.

Sono stato in questa struttura per 2 notti, dal 17 al 19 novembre, insieme alla mia ragazza e devo dire che scelta migliore non potevamo fare. L'accoglienza è stata subito speciale da parte della proprietaria, la stanza e tutta la struttura super pulite, posizione ottima sia per vicinanza al centro sia per i collegamenti degli autobus a qualsiasi ora. Se dovessi tornare a Verona non esiterei nemmeno un istante a prenotare a casa babbuino. Grazie ancora per la vostra gentilezza, alla prossima.

Las habitaciones están muy amplias, el baño muy amplio y la ambientación preciosa, el lobby muy agradable, los dueños muy atentos, casi en la puerta hay parada de autobús que te lleva al centro y a la estación de trenes. Sin duda volvería!!! Lo único es que si traes mucho equipaje no es una buena opción son muchas escaleras.

Wir sind super lieb begrüßt worden und hatten ein wunderschönes riesiges Zimmer. Wir fanden es super schön, dass die Zimmer alle anderen Themen hatten! Alles war blitzeblank sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war toll einen Kaffee morgens in dem süßen Garten zu trinken und immer Sprudelwasser sich anzapfen zu können. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ik vond het verblijf fantastisch. Op 20 minuten ben je te voet in het centrum. In het centrum is alles vlakbij. Het is er zeer proper en gezellig.

No "monkey business" in Casa Babbuino

Marco and his wife have created a very special place in Verondetta. We got upgraded to the "Surfer" room and where invited to an "after-party" with wine/spirit tasting (because they hosted an event that evening). They made us feel like friends, not guests. If in Verona, you have to stay in "Casa Babbuino".

Eine großartige Unterkunft! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und individuell gestaltet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns Tipps für die Stadt gegeben. Wir konnten sogar unser Gepäck noch etwas länger da lassen. Auch den Kühlschrank kann man mit nutzen. Fussläufig sind es 10-15 min ins Zentrum. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Perfekt ist der kleine Garten, indem man morgens in Ruhe frühstücken kann

La camera era come sulle foto e molto pulita. I proprietari erano molto accoglienti, gentili e bravi nelle spiegazioni. La notte era silenziosa e piacevole. L'Arena di Verona è raggiungibile verso autobus in pochi minuti e c'é anche un piccolo supermercato vicino alla struttura per comprare una qualcosina. Perfetto rapporto qualità-prezzo.
