The staff was fantastic and even went so far as to call me to let me know we should stop and eat on our way because a snow storm was shutting down restaurants. All around, it was a fantastic stay

We have stayed here several times and are always completely satisfied. This was the first time we were lucky enough to see it decorated for Christmas and it was beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good, there is a snack available in the evening , and hot beverages available all the time. Staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this property.

Carlisle Inn was a very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future when visiting Amish country.

Beautiful, Comfortable Place to Stay

Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek is one of our absolute favorite places to stay when visiting the area. So charming, clean, friendly, quiet, SO AMAZING!

Clean, very nice lobby, common areas, and rooms with Amish/Mennonite woodwork throughout. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

When we walked into the lobby, we thought we were in a Hallmark movie. The facility is beautiful and comfortable, and very welcoming. And it was decorated for the holidays! The staff and other guests continued the experience. They were friendly and engaging, and provided information on the area, events and hotel. The room was comfortable and inviting. It was clean and well maintained. We felt more like guests in someone’s home than overnight travelers. Overall lovely experience. We’ll definitely stay here again!

We loved the hotel. It was beautiful with their Christmas decorations all up. The scenery is gorgeous. Each room has their own balcony. We had the back side where you could see the farm lands in the distance.

Asked for adjoining rooms - at minimum next to each other.. Didn't get either. Reservation made months,ahead of stay

Excellent Accommodations!

We had a wonderful time the two nights we stayed at the Carlisle Innn Walnut Creek. It's a pleasant atmosphere, very clean, and convenient for shopping. The "Twisted Sisters" as the two fun-loving employees call themselves, decorated the inn for Christmas and offered guests to have their photos taken within the holiday background. We will definitely return!

We were celebrating our 52nd anniversary and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice to stay at the Carlisle in Walnut Creek. Staff was super friendly and the facility is top notch. We plan to celebrate here every year for our anniversary now. The room was beautiful and the entire place was spotless.

The company that owns the inn also own a chain of restaurants. The breakfast needs a lot of work to be comparable to other establishments in the area. Even the coffee at breakfast was awful. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Staff pleasant and efficient.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. It is such a peaceful place and the staff is always inviting and friendly. The view is lovely as well.

The place was beautiful with all the fall decorations and the hotel staff at check in was awesome. The breakfast wasn’t so good the sausage links both days were cold and the round eggs was ice cold in the middle on Sunday. I did say something to the breakfast people but they seem like they didn’t really care one way or the other. I also said something to the front desk when we checked out.

It was a great place to stay. we usually just stay at regular hotels but decided to try something new and we were very pleased.

EVERY single thing about this place was delightful!

Our room door did not close by swinging shut, we had to then push to secure. Bathroom did not have a vent fan. Disapointed in breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful, lovely setting, great staff and beautiful town

Buggy ride was unique and we loved it!

Charming hotel, the staff is lovely. You can hear people on above floors so ask for top floor if that keeps you up. Very clean and comfortable. Dining and shops close early so plan accordingly.

Loved our stay here! And Marcia put us into a room with such an amazing view of the valley. So peaceful and the breakfast was the perfect touch to get our day going! Can’t wait to go back! Oh and let’s not forget snack time in the evening, it was yummy!

Best place ever

This property is an excellent place to stay. It is clean, well kept, people are friendly, and the breakfast is very good. The area around the hotel is beautiful with many things to do.

Loved the balconies to sit out in the evening and the breakfast are delicious!!

Whenever I visit Ohio’s Amish Country, I stay at the Carlisle Inn. The Walnut Creek location is ideally located for all the area has to offer, and the extras (free breakfast in the am, cookies and popcorn in the evening; comfortable, individually decorated rooms with private balconies and great views) make for a great getaway.

The inn was very nice and close to things that we were doing. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay celebrating our 56th wedding anniversary. The option of sitting outside on our private deck or having popcorn with all of our neighbors in the concession room on second floor or going to the rocking chairs on the porch. We traveled the Amish backroads during the days!

only negative problem is that there is no available restroom on the same floor as the breakfast area. You have to go back to your room for an available restroom or down to basement

I thought there was a microwave in the room, but there wasn’t. The breakfast buffet was not as good as the last time we stayed there.

DeeAnn was great at the front desk. We added an additional night last minute, and she was able to work some magic to keep us in the same room (302). The campus is beautiful and well maintained. The only downside was our bathroom. It really needs some attention. The shower door handles were loose, the grout needs a very deep cleaning, new caulking is needed along the shower, the replenished towels could have stayed in the dryer longer, and the toilet seat slides around when you sit down. The drywall in a few areas in the room and the bathroom have some pretty significant gouges in it. None of these issues would deter me from staying there again. Nice morning breakfast and cookies and popcorn served in the early evening. The staff was excellent!!

Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Beautiful landscaping. Friendly staff. Free cookies and popcorn! The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. Sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits, boiled eggs, plus the normal offerings. We didn’t eat because we dont like sausage. No hot eggs. Definitely needs improvement!!!

Very quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Cookies in the evening as well as an amazing breakfast. Beds were extremely comfortable, plenty of room for my daughter, husband and I to all get ready at the same time.

Very clean and comfortable! All needs were met, great breakfast and evening cookies and popcorn.

We really enjoyed the private balcony off our room. Breakfast was good (especially the homemade cinnamon rolls and cranberry muffins). The only disappointment was that we went to get evening popcorn twice during the time it’s supposed to be available, and it was out both times.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Really enjoyed having coffee on the balcony overlooking the rolling hills of Amish country.

I’ve done a lot of traveling and this has been my all time favorite accommodation ever.

Hotel is very good. Most staff were excellent, but a couple of instances showed few needed more customer training.
