A nice spot! Interior & patio design were attractive. Restaurant menu was… overpriced and under delicious. Would stay again, but eat elsewhere.

If you don’t mind to party every night, it is a very good place to stay. We used to travel with our pets for ACL and it was a very nice place to stay. They provide earplugs and sleep gums if you have troubles to sleep with all the party people around.

Excellent hotel. The hotel restaurant dining was just magnificent. Excellent chef. All staff interaction was very professional and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and has a beautiful open terrace for dining. Lots of options for shopping and dining around the hotel as it is between 6th and 7th Street. Hotel felt very safe. Must have key access to be able to take elevator. Parking is a must valet at an extra cost of $50. Guests can valet for $20.

Location was good but very very loud, clean decent room, the staff was just not nice or accommodating at all.

Room next to us had an extremely loud crowded party until 3:30 am when security finally went up to talk to them and then they proceeded to blast music until 5:30am!. Should not have to pay 350 a night to get zero sleep

First time in Austin and Canopy Hilton was great!! Bed their resturant and the lobby and desk personnel were fantastic!! Overall A for our stay!!

Parking is valet only. The attached restaurant is seriously amazing. The hotel is convenient in the middle of 6th, nice and clean too. They provide nice amenities like earplugs if it gets too noisy but we didn’t have to use them- we didn’t find it to be too busy outside. Second time here and would absolutely stay here again

Accommodation was above and beyond expectations!

Great location! Was in town for Formula 1, there was also a huge college football game so the city was busy. Although the streets were busy and there was noise in the evening, I didn’t find the room that loud at night, and we had a room with balcony right over 6th street. Tons of restaurants and bars all walkable from the hotel. Would recommend if you don’t mind a bit of noise, but prefer the convenience of walking most places.

Overall, had a great experience staying at the property. Central location was key. The only downside is that it was very expensive.

Very convenient for the Formula One Grand Prix. The hotel room was very cute. Staff was friendly and there were a decent amount of amenities, including a pool, also a pool table, and a lovely restaurant. Had an enjoyable stay.

Stayed one night as we were in town for a friends birthday dinner. We were greeted with champagne and snacks by the friendly staff, the decor and atmosphere was perfect, and the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could need. We are often in Austin for a night and this will be our new go-to place to stay. The restaurant and bar attached were great and we had a fantastic breakfast. I can't wait for our next Austin event so we can stay here again!

Loud area of downtown, but adjacent to bars and clubs on West 6th if you're looking for a fun weekend and won't be going to sleep before 2am. Rooms are nice, but felt a bit worn down. Some of the essentials were missing when I checked in, so it seemed like the room wasn't up to the standards for the hotel. The people at the front desk got things sorted, but that was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. I've had better experiences with 3 star hotels nearby.

It was lots to do but loud.

Cleanliness was ok. Its pet friendly but they should have designated floor's to have guests and their pets. I found pet hairs on the sheets as well as a pet on the floor I stayed. No parking unless you pay for valet parking $50 per night (it was not mentioned while booking the hotel) The view from the room was a filthy allie. It was not worth the price. Expensive an no continental breakfast was offered.

5 star hotel

We needed an earlier check in because of other commitments we had and they accommodated us perfectly. We brought our dog and they have a pet relief station that was perfect for her to go and do her business. Overall the property smells amazing, clean and the staff are nice.

Upon arrival Jared and Ana were personable and professional. This was my first time at this property and it’s a great location if you are attending concerts or conferences in downtown Dallas. The ice machine with filtered water station is great. Although the one on my floor was out of service.

This place is awesome! Not loud at all and convenient. Only issue was valet parking at $50 a night, a bit steep.

It was wonderful stay for my birthday celebration! Can't say enough about the wonderful staff and service! The receptionist Ana upgraded my room to a suite in a preferred location for the same cost. The Canopy is in the middle of the night life sceen. Which was a perk for my occasion!

This is such a nice hotel perfectly situated in downtown Austin. Modern, great amenities and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Be prepared for the valet parking but honestly worth every penny. Complimentary Prosecco every afternoon, coffee in the morning and cold water and fresh baked cookies daily! Would definitely stay again

If you want to sleep, don't stay here. It's right in the middle of a string of bars that are open until 2am. Then the cleanup starts, garbage trucks around 4 and street sweepers at 5am. They are aware of the lack of sound proofing, even putting ear plugs by the bed.

We had a great stay at this property. We stayed right next to the pool. We had zero issues with outside noise. We will definitely book here again!

Very Happy Stay!

Had a really great stay. Evening staff was amazing!

Noise will be a problem unless you are out partying until 2 am. Any hotel that has to provide complementary ear plugs should be advertised as such! And the $49 (plus tax!) upcharge for parking, per night, is excessive.

We arrived 6/21/24 pm, front desk staff not welcoming, rude. Room nice, clean..only downside was no microwave in room. Ice makers on 3rd and 4th floors not working. Valet staff and housekeeping very polite!

SO SO LOUD!

Horrible. This hotel is surround by bars. How could the walls in a hotel be so thin? Awful. The room came with earplugs and a noise machine…so they knew it was going to be loud. When we asked to switch rooms we were told they were fully booked. It was a Sunday…so the excuse was doubtful to me. Peel and stick carpet squares placed like runners in the halls left swaths of bare concrete and bare concrete as flooring in the bathroom. The entire hotel gave “we ran out of money to finish this place… hope you don’t notice” vibes. No cold water, really. The pool was murky. If we had had a quiet night sleep, we might have been able to look overlook all the other stuff. They have no business booking room 307.

No filtered water options on our floor or the next below us. Went to the restaurant for water. AC had issues. They sent someone up to resolve it but it seems like he just flipped an override to make it cooler. Air felt damp. Clean room. Overall a nice stay.

I fell in love with Canopy hotel!

It was such a great experience: the location was perfect; it was so clean, and I loved the fish! The room was nice and big! Everyone was super friendly, and they serve champagne any time! I would recommend it to anyone, and I would stay there again!

The desk staff person welcomed us at chechin with a margarita. My room eas upgraded to a suite, which was lovely in itself, and had a lovely city view. If you face 6th Street, be warned it can be quite noisy.

Everything was great! Valet was quick and fast Everytime we needed them, housekeeping came everyday and did an excellent job cleaning. Only downfall was not having a mini fridge of some sort. Would stay here Everytime I come to Austin!

Very Nice hotel. They didn't have carpet down on the floors, so I'm assuming we were there in the middle of an UPDATE. Clean and the shower's were great!

Parking was expensive, maybe a little repreive for guests who stay over 4 nights.

Comfortable but loud and bright

The room was comfortable, reasonably sized, and clean. It was at least as nice or nicer than I expected. This said a few issues. First is the noise. I had read reviews so this was not unexpected, and given the location with a bar out front on sixth street it was as quiet as you could hope for as the walls etc are clearly well insulated against noise. But nothing at this location could make it go to zero the weekend of May 5. We were ok with the level of noise but if you are light sleeper think twice. My main issue was the bathroom light. Someone had the BRIGHT idea of putting it on a motion sensor. So you have to close the bathroom door or every time you walk by it the light went on and every time we used it in the middle of the night the very bright lighting went on. But if you want to be near sixth street and the action and shopping in that area could not have a better location.

I had a unique situation, Fernando was amazing! He went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. The valet and security guards were impeccable as well. This place is truly one of a kind. Everyone ensured I felt safe, and well looked after. The hotel is 4 stars so everything else was as expected

Great place, we loved it.

Property was in great location to party in Austin. Check in was late, but gave us a $50 credit.

Loved this hotel! The central courtyard was so serene and pleasant to hang out in. The music of 6th street provided a wonderful background to the rooftop pool. Staff went out of their way to be pleasant (upon check in, we were offered complimentary champagne 3 times, along with reminders to come back anytime until 10 PM for more). Morning coffee and fruit/herb infused water were also available. Beverage Heaven! Oh, and delicious little baked cookies too. The Shoal Creek trail is around the corner, providing easy access to the lake for scenic walks or runs. I’ll be back for sure!

Long weekend in Austin

Our experience at the canopy was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Fernando went out of his way to make us comfortable and provide us with the best possible stay. Thank you for a great visit!

The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. Valet was expensive but very convenient and efficient. The lobby is super cute with lounge couch areas, pool table, back gammon, complimentary beverages throughout the day and evening!

This property is in a very busy, happening part of town. If you are looking for a fun active location this hotel in in the heart of it.

This was one of the nicest, cleanest hotels we've stayed at. We were very impressed. It definitely had annupdated modern feel to it as well and was very clean. The staff was super nice from the hotel bar to the front desk. Great experience!

Very clean hotel and rooms! All staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. There are some really loud bars on both sides of the hotel, but they provide ear plugs and sound machines, so I had no trouble sleeping. The bed was really comfortable too
