I don’t like that you need to used you room key for re entry,to get a coffee,less words you need you key for everything and the primita to high.

Clean rooms with great amenities! Easy to get to and can park easily!

We enjoyed the stay. From check in to check out. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

All of the staff were so sweet to me and my husband! They made us feel so special on our honeymoon!

We have stayed here 3 times while my going to St. David's Hospital. Love the mini kitchen in all rooms and the supplies room if you forget anything.

Room well equipped, large and clean. Staff leave you and the room alone to get on with your stay. Property well connected to nearby highways. Outside patio/yard area would benefit from some more seating.

The best stay since I been in Austin. The staff is amazing.The General Manager Ms. Linda is just humble and transparent. Her energy is everything you can feel it when you are speaking with her. Also Christen! I hope I spelled that right. He was such a great understanding gentleman. Thanks y'all!

Great staff

Very tidy, nice hotel. Comfortable room- would be nice for extended length of time. Mattress was a bit uncomfortable & shower floor was slippery by the drain- nearly fell twice.

Good location

The property was extremely clean. The lobby and elevator smelled so fresh and clean, they both had a very pleasant fragrance as you find in 5-star hotels. The front desk staff members were so friendly and attentive. They gave excellent service. I enjoyed talking to Ms. Linda when I was at the front desk. Everyone was very responsive to my requests and needs. The room was quite clean, comfortable and spacious. It had everything I needed including a fully equipped kitchenette and full size refrigerator. The Dove personal care products are a nice extra to have available in the room. The parking lot was well lit and I felt safe coming in at night. Great location for where I needed to go in town. I really enjoyed my stay there. I'll definitely return.

Christian checked me in quickly and was super friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom was spotless. Also the location was close to family event and other stores and shopping. Will be back again!!

North Austin

I have stayed here before it is quiet & clean. Close to my workshop & good restaurants.

I was having to stay in Austin due to a surgery I had and it required a recliner. You are the only Hotel I found that had one. Everything was great. Thanks, Michelle

Good stay

Very clean and convenient to everything we had planned. Bed was comfy. At check in, Christian was very helpful and efficient. Upon checkout, I waited at desk for 10 minutes without seeing anyone working. Another gentleman had been there even longer and said the same thing. Still a nice place to stay.

Dont pay for King Beds. This place stinks.

I rented the 2 king suite and paid for a 2 king suite and was given a 2 queen suite. Being 2 very large men staying with their daughters this a was need. When we called down to the desk once entering the room we were told that it is a request and you dont honor all requests. Why have the option on the website and why did i pay for kings when that is only a suggestion to the hotel staff. Not super thrilled and was not the experience i was hoping to have. Spending multiple nights in beds that are to small is not how i want to spend my money. Oh and to put the cherry on top this hotel smelt like Marijuana the entire time I was there. Definitely not a place to stay if you are in Texas for any kind of sport related activity.

the hotel is 24/7 check-in and pet friendly, also located near a few highways making driving around Austin a breeze.

Horrible Check in

Upon arrival approximately 1 hour before check in…Christian did not even look on the computer to look and see if a room was available for early check in. He just abruptly and very curt said I’d have to come back in an hour … after coming back and hour later. He still stated that he didn’t know if a room was ready but then looked up a few minutes before 3 and it was ready. His demeanor was condescending and put off. I also asked if the cameras were recording not just for viewing because at another hotel I had my catalytic converter stolen. He then told me it is what it’s is he couldn’t guarantee me anything. So over all check in was horrible and didn’t feel welcomed or comfortable… He made no attempt to make anything more comfortable. Very disappointing..

There is no dining in the hotel and none within walking distance.

Nice clean will use again

At 3am morning someone was calling the landphone. 8:34 am was already awake but still in bed , someone tried to open the door but good thing i had the safety thing that block the door somehow. It scared me.

We went to the Orange and White longhorn game.. hotel is great.. staff was excellent and friendly.....Only thing is this hotel does not offer breakfast-- but that was on me... you get used to every hotel offers breakfast, that i didnt even think about it untill the following morning ...but like i said.. that was on me for not reading the details

The hotel and staff were very nice. My only complaint was that the tv did not work in our room. They said they replaced it the same date, but when we came back, it still would not work. They gave me a 20.00 discount, but feel it should have been a little more.

Nice room/service. Rough area. Bad thermostat

Room was comfortable but shower was dirty. Check in was fast and friendly. Location is on the edge of a shady neighborhood.room thermostat kept turning off so room was stuffy, it was supposed to be an efficiency thing for when the room was vacant but it wasn't sophisticated enough to know we were still inside, just sleeping.

Property ok. Location convenient for me. Area not great. Primary issue is very hard untreated water. Completely unacceptable for washing and showering.

It is a business hotel and as such is limited in the offerings in the neighborhood. That being said, it is convenient, clean, and comfortable. Loved the stay and will be staying here again.

Nice place

The property does not offer maid service. I stayed 9 days and received maid service once. Not good for the length of stay and money paid.

Not to give our reservation to someone who didnt check out. Then not even have another room that we askwd for

the hotel is nice, they charged me a pet fee and I have a registered service dog. I called and they said they would refund but they never did and every time I call my call goes straight to voicemail. Pretty unprofessional.

Great place and convenient!!

This was a really nice, clean place to stay. It was convenient and in addition, had a full refrigerator, which was beneficial for my medical needs. The location was great as it related to travel at the intersection of two major highways. Christian at the front desk, was VERY, VERY helpful. Places should have more people like him.

Great rooms especially when traveling with children to have a small kitchen in the room. However they don't clean or stock your room unless you pay to have it done.

The room was spacious and clean. I always have a comfortable sleep at this hotel with their linens and pillows. The location is situated in a way that I could get to multiple highways in no time. I love the kitchen area, although this time my microwave didn't seem to warm up or it could've been my error. Either way I had a great stay and will definitely return when I'm in town!

Nice comfortable stay.

The room was very nice and the beds are comfortable, I liked that there was a little desk/table. The room was bigger than a usual double queen, there is a mini kitchen with a full size fridge. The hot water is really hot and plenty of water pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean. No concerns

Pros: easy parking, clean room, decent size refrigerator. Cons: Could hear neighbors through walls (they were not purposefully loud), The room will NOT be cleaned unless a stay of over 7 days is occurring (Why are there so many maids in the building???), if you'd like new sheets/towels you need to embarrassingly bring your dirty wears to the front desk. Water Trickled out of shower & it took 9x as much time to wash (no other room was available with same amenities at this time so couldn't switch), Has very basic amenities including only a small set of 4 silverware. Overcharged at end of stay & needed to call to get refunded.

In town for races at COTA.

Had a great stay. Clean room, comfortable bed, and the kitchenette was nice to have. Hotel was also in a good location. Only 10 minutes to the airport and 20 minutes to the track

I’ve stayed here several times for business and consistently had a good experience. It’s always clean, quiet, has friendly staff, and easy parking. It feels much safer than the other places I’ve stayed, but is still conveniently located. I love the fridge and kitchen in all the rooms, too. Consistent experiences for me every time!

Stay was TOO short!!

The hotel was easy to access, clean, and pet-friendly. My daughter had dinner with her Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo committee that met after they delivered Austin their invitation by way of Pony Express.

Good stay in Austin

Stayed here for two nights. Good location and not too far from everything. Comfy bed but dirty carpet. We didn’t feel too comfortable taking off our shoes in the room.

Austin Trip

Nice rooms, very clean and well equipped with small kitchen if you are on longer trip. No breakfast facilities at the hotel and I would personally not book again for this reason. Want to be able to get up eat and be on the road rather than have to find a place for breakfast.

Quick and easy check in, room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and kitchen was nicely stocked.

One hour before check in I received a call from a rude person telling me they were overbooked and they were canceling my reservation i had made 6 months in advance. They didn't even say sorry or gave me another option.

We had to be moved to another room because of electrical issues. It was an ordeal but was eventually resolved.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel and room. There are literally cameras covering this entire property putting my mind at ease slightly (in this day an age you can never let your gaurd down). I actually felt safe here.

We were double charged and one of the front desk staff was rude and acted too aggressive towards us. Horrible experience! They were not properly trained to provide exceptional service.

Can tell the property was recently renovated so that was nice. No breakfast options and not much going on around the property in was of businesses. And no pool.

Initially my friends and I were a little upset when we received a phone call that the biggest room we booked had broken air conditioner, so we wouldn’t be able to stay in the room. Fortunately for such a busy weekend, they still had rooms and we’re given another. When we arrived to the room, we were amazed by how spacious it was, super clean, and you know it’s clean when the bottom of the toilet is white and not yellow! We were really close to all the touristic stuff and in a safe/quiet area. The employees were really nice and in less than 24 hours after checkout- CandleWood Suites worked with the website I booked the hotel through to reimburse me for the room change.

We got notified the morning we were arriving that our suites AC had went out so they would have to offer us a two queen bed room instead. We were pretty upset about this because I wanted my own privacy, if I would have wanted a two queen bed room we would have looked elsewhere but we chose candlewood because of the suite. The ac in the two queen bed room was not very good either. It would turn on and off, not aure if it was on a timer or what but even at that the room wouldn’t get cold enough to sleep comfortably.

The facility was very clean. There were plenty of towels in our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is as located near a major highway. The price was reasonable.

Had people trying to open our door at night, maintenance as well trying to open our door without announcing themselves. Asked about this when we were leaving and they said we told them our door was broken and we didn’t.

Everything was fine. The dog walking area was better than other hotels. It was clean and convenient.

The walk in shower was awesome and the big fridge as well as the mini kitchen with dishwasher. I also loved that there were dishes and pots and pans to use as well as the shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in the shower. I also loved the desk in case of work, and the recliner. I just loved everything about it.

We got a suite with attached kitchen along with all utensils needed for the kitchen. Really liked that option!

I LOVE the Candlewood Suites!!

As an IHG club member, my family has frequented Holiday Inn Express hotels across the country. We saw this IHG property in Austin, Texas, and decided to give it a try. We loved it and will definitely be back in the future! The location and facilities were absolutely perfect for our needs - fully equipped kitchen (no oven); large main room; two queen beds; large desk and work area; large bathroom. While there was no "free breakfast" or daily housekeeping, the kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals, as needed. There was also a covered patio and bbq grills, so we were able to be outside to enjoy the lovely Spring weather. Perfect!

The hotel was very clean. Rooms were a good size. I wish the outdoor space would have been nicer. Theu have a gazebo with grills but not comfortable jst to hang out and enjoy the nice weather. It is a pet friendly hotel but it would be nice if they had a small fenced in area for the dogs to be off leash a little. Overall a nice hotel.

I liked the shower with nice shampoo/conditioner. Didn’t like not getting what I signed up for as far as 2 beds. Only had 1 bed.

I think the cleanliness of the hotel is very nice the location is very nice unfortunately this past weekend I checked in on Friday and soon to realize there was no hot water on Friday night although the guys at the front desk told me that it will come back I never had hot water all night Friday never came on till Saturday about midday I noticed Saturday about midday it still wasn't on contact at the front desk they made some adjustments and I soon started having hot water unfortunately Saturday evening I had to cut my stay short because of weather needed to get back to Houston

This property looks newly renovated and has many conveniences such as a full-size fridge and cooktop stove. The room is spacious and bedding is comfortable. Parking is convenient and it takes no time to check-in and get to your room. Pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend the Candlewood Suits Austin North.

this hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. it’s in a really convenient location kind of off the highway but still really close to grocery stores. the room is equipped with everything i need to make a good meal during my stay and is just the most beautiful suite i have ever stayed in for this price range. i definitely recommend any candlewood hotel to everyone. however, this specific candlewood was just a little better than the others i’ve stayed at :).
