Well kept property

The bed was way too solid felt like we were sleeping on a bed of bricks. Also felt like being in Las Vegas going outside at night because of the amount of lights that are outside. Only good thing about this place is the shower kind of

This was a 1-night stay enroute to another location. We were looking for a pet-friendly hotel with kitchenette. The town is a fishing/hunting type of place. We were not looking for fancy and we didn't get it. The inn is actually a motel, not a hotel. The room definitely needs a face-lift: the carpet is badly stained and the bathroom counter is very very dated. The air conditioner unit was kind of "taped" into place. However, on the plus side, the beds were very comfortable and linens were very nice. I had asked for additional top sheets to cover the bed to protect them from dog hair because my dog sheds a lot and she sleeps on the bed with us. The desk clerk asked us not to allow her to sleep on the bed. I told her that it wasn't going to happen and that the additional top sheets would do well in protecting the rest of the covers from excessive dog hair. The staff were nice and understood.

Perfect for a good night's sleep

The room was clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Everything was in working order. The room was stocked very well with toiletries and coffee etc. The towels were clean. It is an bit old motel, so the fixtures and bathroom fittings are dated, but everything was working. I was happy and satisfied with my stay

There were black cobwebs full of dead bugs in the corners of the ceiling. Spiders everywhere, including baby spiders in the bathroom. I killed an earwig in the bathroom and one climbing the wall above my head as I tried to sleep. The tub had constant fruit flies in it. House flies in the room. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly for a very long time, built up urine down the sides of it. Every surface was filthy, the tv remote control had caked on dirt and old food on it, there was old food left on the table and outside of microwave, no hot water to even wash my face. There was what I presumed to be old blood on the duvet on the bed. A used toothpick had been left on the floor. It was clearly not vacuumed in a very long time. Crunched up chips and dirt under the bathroom vanity had been left. I have never had such an awful hotel experience in my life. Never stayed in such a dirty room. They have a very bad bug problem and needs professional treatment. I did not fall asleep until about 430am, left at 630am. The evening supervisor was somewhat understanding of the situation, and did agree to how dirty the room was. She also came to clean up a few things, but they should have already been done prior to my arrival. It was still a filthy place to stay and would not recommend it. At one point, I thought about sleeping out in my car. It was absolutely an awful experience

The room we had at this motel is probably typical of the area. The rooms are in a need of refurbishment. Although the best part was the bed, it was comfortable. Our sleep was awoken by the moment of people in the room above and then their shower was on for the best part of an hour and the noise of the water through the pipes was very loud. All this occurred at 3.00AM.... It is now 4.00AM the water is off but they are now talking loud. Would I stay in this motel - No. Would I recommend anyone staying in Cache Creek - No

Property could use a little TLC. Outside stairs to access second floor had rotten wood in the railings. Tub faucet was running all the time and couldn't be fully shut off. Place was showing its age. Room was clean and comfortable but with signs of poor maintenance you have to wonder what else is not being taken care of.

Good cheap hotel

After Expedia reservation check-in, got fleeced for additional $20 as the only room left was not pet friendly according to clerk. After getting to the room it was not human friendly. It was filthy and the room in a very poor state of repair. Shower didn’t work and bath tap could not be turned off. It ran all night. Air conditioner in room did not work either. It was 36C so would have been great of worked. Don’t stay here. It’s a dump!

I am grateful we were allowed to have our dog with us. This hotel was filthy. There were many ants in the bathroom and crawling all over the coffee machine. The walls were disgusting and some of the electrical outlets didn't have plates and sparked when I plugged in my phone charger. The bed linen was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The property is in a very convenient location. I arrived late on a sweltering Sunday and the bliss of a clean room with refreshing A/C cannot be overstated . The motel needs upgrades but the staff is nice and my room was quiet and clean.

Beds were comfortable room was very clean. Water was hot. They left the keys at the office door for late check-in. We are late arrival on our trip.

The only positive thing about this stay was the comfortable mattress. The heat could not be turned off and we had to leave the air conditioner on to battle it all night. The shower didn't work well, the sink tap came off in my hands, there was no light in the room and the lamp switch was hit or miss... i stayed here eight years ago and it was fine, but the place has fallen apart since then.

Ask for newer room

Weve stayed here a few times so didnt hesitate to book again. Unfortently we got a outdated room. The chairs were so badly stained. Not small stains either...took up most the chair. And not just 1 chair..both! The toilet had a black mold ring around the inside. The beding was clean but 1 of the box springs had what i hope was a big coffee stain on the side. Not overly noticeable but after you find a couple icky areas you tend to look for more. I have to say the service was amazing!! The girl working the front counter was friendly and very accomdating. We did check in just as her shift ended (front desk closed) so i couldn't tell her about the state of the room

The carpet in our room was disgusting and the tables were not even cleaned. I made coffee this morning and when I put the powdered creamer in it, it curdled. I had never seen that before so I tried another package and same thing so no coffee.

Kitchenette is good, not used this time but if you are staying long, very convenient. Queen beds. Large rooms.

Excellent staff. I left a bag behind. Unfortunately took 4hrs for call to be made so lost considerable time coming to get it. My daughter was grateful to have her new school clothes back though.

The property and room were clean and our host came out next morning to wish us well. We discovered that had we booked direct, we could have got room $25.00 less. This extra is possibly the fee booking agent collects from establishment!!!! The area is still cleaning up from flood waters so not much to chose from re meals etc. Went to Hat Creek historical Cr for breakfast

Water system could use an upgrade. Should have to be put into freezing water or scolded burnt when taking a shower. Carpets and furniture are outdated.

Sorry but there was dirt, grime, hand prints etc on the walls. The shower had a big hole below the tap. The soap holder in the shower had thick layers of soap scum. There was hair in the tub. The bed appeared clean. The door was dark with dirty fingerprints where people opened and closed the door.

The surrounding area is beautiful if your into the desert like climat. We were greeted by a lovely front desk clerk. Check in was fast. The room itself was gross. Carpet didnt look vaccumed, black hair everywhere, cobwebs in corners, dead bugs in bathroom and stuck on walls. Which is all weird because the ratings are so good. We must have gotten a bad room maybe. Regardless, we will try somewhere else.

The owner did not like that I reviewed about his damaged room. He then proceeded to call and bang on the door at 11pm saying to vacate with full refund. He is unhinged and I will be lodging a formal complaint with the BBB on monday

A pleasant place to spend the night. All I needed, but nothing special.

Ok, this is not the newest or most fancy place - it’s not a major luxury chain so don’t expect that - it’s a probably 70s or 80s old-style highway motel.. However, it is clean, the bed was actually very comfortable and it is convenient in Cache Creek. Of particular note, the owner is soooo nice. He helped with a booking problem (that was my fault) with a smile and a kind word. It’s hard to find people like that these days I think - it makes this stand out in my mind!

This property is very old and in need of a total remodel. It hasn’t changed much since the 70s. Dark green and blue towels just don’t seem right. However we slept well. Bed was clean and I am assuming so we’re the towels lol .
