Great staff, always friendly and helpful. When you walk in the first thing you’ll notice is that it is very clean & well kept. There’s a cute little cat that hangs around. We’ve stayed in a few places in Istanbul and this was easily one of the best on all counts. Careful if you’re tall, the top floor has low ceilings because it’s an attic, but it’s spacious and has great views. All in all, I would recommend anyone to stay here.

A cozy little place very near to Taksim. Staff is very friendly and welcoming will make you feel like at home. Street where located is not that great but location and place itself is very good. I would stay again!

Poor rating

Hotel was not as it was mentioned. My rooms safety locker was not working, room intercom was not working. Even after complain nothing happened. On my next day, no one came to clean my room neither towels were replaced on next day Yes the day time reciptionist was very good in behave well, he guide me about the area. But I would not recommend the hotel to stay. Neither it deserves the 9+ rating. It is around 5 rating standards.

lovely stay in Calanthe

All the stuff was super kind and helpful. Omer(manager of the Residence) helped me to arrange the transfers, i made some mistakes in information on arrival and he still managed it very nicely. It was a lovely experience and great location!

This is the best hotel

The hotel is modern, located near the services and the staff are soooo friendly and helpful. Omar who is responsible for the morning shift was more than a great host, he also helped us a lot.

Our 2 nights stay at Calanthe Residence was extremely pleasant. Clean room, great location and Omer, the staff, was extremely accommodating and helpful. He acceded to all our requests promptly and was very polite and contactable at all times. We had to check out at 5.30am and he woke up specially to help us call a taxi and carry our luggage. Omer made us feel very comfortable! Would recommend this accommodation. 10/10

Good place except for the street

The hotel was good; clean, spacious, convenient. But the street the hotel is at is very dirty and busy. Perhaps all the hotel owners can submit complains to the city government- otherwise it makes a unpleasant experience...

Boutique Hotel with Charm

My partner and I stayed for 3 night and just loved it. A quick 5 minute walk to all the action yet located in an area that was very quiet and safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful we will definitely be back!

Stylish, clean hotel with very accommodating staff

Calanthe is a small boutique hotel, which was redesigned and styled by an architect 4 years ago. Hatice, who works there, was very accommodating, especially after our flight was cancelled and then our luggage didn't arrive. She also lives locally and therefore had loads of local knowledge which helped us make the best of our time in Istanbul. The city itself was incredible, and we felt very safe.

Unterkunft sehr zentral, 5 Minuten Laufweg vom Taksim Platz. Sehr sauber, freundlich und modern. Gerne wieder 😊

struttura semplice, ma carina. spaziosa e ben accessoriata (armadi, cassetti, cassaforte, scrivania, mobile bagno). Gentilissimi i lavoratori della struttura.

Mein Mann und ich waren für paar tage in Istanbul und haben dieses Hotel ausgesucht. Ich muss sagen, es ist sauber und die Lage ist Top. Saubere Betten und die Größe des Zimmers war gut. Ich empfehle es weiter.

Very good staff and location

Very good hotel very close to taksim and istiklal street. The staff were super nice and very helpful. Always smiling and ready to help. The room was very good and had everything we needed. In general everything was perfect for the price, and we will definitely stay there when we visit Istanbul again!

Super freundliches Personal (schöne Grüße an Ömer) sehr zuvorkommend, die Gegend schreckt auf dem ersten Blick ein auf aber legt sich schnell denn die Lage ist sehr zentral und ungefährlich, man hat viele Möglichkeiten zum öffentlichen Verkehr… im allem sehr befriedigend würde immer wieder dort einchecken…☺️

Konumuna göre gayet modern

Konum geceleri sıkıntılı olsa da otelin işletmecisi, otelin temizliği ve dizaynı parasının hakkını gerçekten veriyordu. Modern ve yüksek duvarlı bir otel. Aynı zamanda ferah.

2泊しましたが、2日目のベッドメイクやタオルの変更がなかった。トイレットペーパーも2日目で無くなり持参したトイレットペーパーで凌いだ。バルコニーの鍵の掛け方が難しいのでホテルのスタッフに教えてもらう必要があります。ロケーションとしては問題なし。

Das Personal hätte 10/5 verdient !

War für 2 Tage Istanbul besuchen und wählte diese Unterkunft. Lage und Sauberkeit sind für mich die wichtigsten Aspekte gewesen. Das zusätzlich zudem noch super freundlich und hilfsbereite Personal, der gute Komfort und der sehr gepflegte Zustand machten die Unterkunft echt genial. Werde definitiv wieder kommen.

Pretty good neat and tidy. Area a bit shabby. Not far from Taksim though. TV and channels didn’t work. More light in the main room would be nice like on the desk. But a good value. The young man daytime at the reception was helpful and congenial. Night time shift guy was a bit rough.

Otel de calisanlar her anlamda çok yardimci oldular, istanbulu tanimayanlara çok iyi tavsiyelerde bulunuyolar (gidilecek yerler, cafe, restoran, taksi ve ulaşım vs.). Odalar çok temiz, yataklar çok rahattı ve odalar her gün temizleniyor du. Bir daha ki sefer tekrar Calanthe Residence i tercih edeceyiz! Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Zimmern wurden täglich sauber gemacht und man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Wir haben ohne einen Aufpreis eine Suit erhalten obwohl wir das nicht gebucht hatten. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und nur ein paar Minuten von Taksim entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! wir bekamen immer Tipps von den Mitarbeitern für die besten Restaurants, Cafés etc. Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt werden wir uns wieder für Calanthe Residence entscheiden!

Otel cok temiz, sessiz ve dekoratifti. Kaldigim oda gercekten de rezervasyonda gosterildigi gibiydi. Cok memnun kaldim.

Limpo e espaçoso

O hotel é pequeno e decente. São apenas 7 quartos e sem elevador. O quarto é espaçoso e de boa limpeza. Staff prestativo e a 10 minutos de caminhada da Taksim. Achei a rua meio perigosa para andar à noite.
