Just enough for what i needed for a quick night stopping through. Overnight parking os a few blocks walk but not bad. Bed was surprisingly cozy and private. 2 rooms of ~25 bunks. lots of private showers/bathrooms. Nice common area, wifi worked great. Check-in at the Anvil Hotel lobby.
Good
The best
Great hostel
Fantastic stay. Beds are very comfortable and amenities are top notch for a hostel. Staff was very helpful as well. This is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at, I really appreciate them providing an affordable accomadation option in Jackson.
✅
Center of town, no parking, but you can park overnight in a garage not too far from the hotel. And then you’re in the heart of Jackson, and everything’s close by
Very clean and well kept.
The stay was great. One USB port needs to be repaired.
Great experience, great location, great service
One of the best hostels
Great hostel one of the best I've stayed at!
Clean, affordable, accommodating with great staff
always a clean and quiet place to stay whenever i’m in jackson!
Good location, and nice amenities. Parking can be a bit annoying, but you can park at the visitor center. As a hostel, I found it odd that there was no laundry facilities on the premise nor a kitchen/fridge, so I would not recommend for longer term stays. My friend and I tried to extend our stay by one night, so I contacted the hostel ahead of time to extend, and I thought we had it sorted out, but they messed up on the reservation and had to get it sorted out when we checked in. We eventually got it sorted, but I would have expected better service from the staff to resolve any of these issues, since this seemed to be a common problem for making guests checking in during the stay. Otherwise, a great place to stay in Jackson.

Mic play to stay
great location for walking. parking is a challenge at times but doable
I had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay for anyone traveling through the area!
Never stayed in a hostel b4. This place was so nice and clean and well organized. I felt safe here. Would return if ever in Jackson Hole WY again. Excellent value.
Clean but claustrophobic. Cheapest bed in town.
For the very overpriced Jackson Hole area the Cache House was by far the least expensive accommodation I could find. I had trepidation about staying in an open bunk hostel accommodation, but actually found the facilities acceptable. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean and plentiful. The berth was comfortable (although a bit claustrophobic) and luckily it wasn’t very hot during my stay. If I returned to the Jackson Hole area, I would consider staying here again if no other options were available.
It’s a dormitory. Well behaved visitors managed to make noise anyway. I changed my itinerary and the staff was evasive, referring me to a “Manager” who was not present.
Very nice location
Better than I expected. The beds were comfortable with lamps outlets and privacy curtains. Plenty of private restrooms. Decent living area. Good lockers. Convenient location. No parking.
Great value. Clean facility and right in town. Great jumping off point for all your national park adventures
Pricing
Very comfortable.
We DID NOT stay. I was not aware that we would be sleeping with 40 other people My grandson who was traveling with me has medical issues and CANNOT be around people like that I would like to get a refund
No parking but for one night stay it is cheaper then a hotel in Jackson unfortunately... so one night okay ..was clean people very nice .. but there is so much to do in Jackson that your out and about and when you get back your bunk your exhausted and just want to sleep.. the beds are a Lilttle warm but I would rather be warm then cold...
Definitely would back! I loved the room and the staff, only one negative point, it was too hot inside of the room.
It was nice new facilities everyone was cool
They stored a large bag for me
Loved this place!
I was in doubt whether to stay at this hostel or pay 3x for the hotel. I made the right choice going with this hostel. It is quiet, clean, convenient and comfortable. You are not going to have your own room, but the bed was private enough for me. You get great clean showers and plenty of locker space.
Good budget shared accommodation in Jackson Hole. There are limited Hotel rooms available and very pricey. This is basic but dose the job
We stayed for a single night and felt comfortable but a bit warm
Unexpected Gem
This was an unexpected gem of a place to stay in Jackson. It’s in the basement of the Anvil Hotel - located right in the heart of downtown. The Hostel has a large, clean and comfortable common area, clean and plentiful shower rooms, plenty of storage for your belongings and really comfortable and cozy bed cubicles. The other patrons were super considerate of noise and night time sleep hours and very interesting to talk with. We had a very enjoyable 2 day stay and will definitely stay here again.
Best value in Jackson
My only complaint is that it was hot and they need better AC but the hostel was beautiful and clean and otherwise comfortable.
Staff and guests were respectful of others. It was a very pleasant atmosphere and the beds were very comfortable.
Perfect !
I am so glad that I booked this place. It was clean and right in the heart of Jackson Hole. It was a phenomenal experience and perfect place to stay.
AVOID!
Clean bunkhouse with generously sized beds. Has lockers to keep belongings safe. Pleasant common area. Little fans in each bunk were very nice. The service was great, and the cafe area is nice. Needs to fix sink fixtures though in the common area (individual shower rooms were fine). Fixtures had mostly fallen off and weren’t all functional. Plus, the soap dispenser was broken. Towels were sometimes provided, sometimes not (possibly stolen by other guests). There were not enough hooks in the bathrooms for hanging bags, towels, and clothing. I would have given four stars, but it was so expensive that it didn’t feel worth it.
The property was not as advertized! I did not stay there.
Very good guy at the night checked us in and explained everything we need .. love the place and area
No staff available to help me check in and door locked. No one answered the phone when I called. I had to stay somewhere else.
I felt the listing was misleading and pricey for what was received. reminded me of Europe, which is just fine, but didn't have a clear picture going in.
This property was very dirty and too hot. AC was set at 74 degrees.
Poor ventilation, no windows, musty, misrepresented, did not expect a hostel, no fresh towels, over priced, hard to find, tiny signage
It is a hostel but doesn't show that clearly orjiug
Awesome stay!
Quite below setting for sleep, easy walking distance to shops, restaurant.
Comfy bed
The cache was perfect for what it is -- a hostel. Conveniently located and a cheaper option in an expensive town. The staff was very nice but there certainly seemed to be some management issues. Half of the shower heads or bathroom faucets were broken. The shampoo/conditioner in the showers was out the entire time I was there (three days) and it was suuuuuper stuffy at night. Their staff was very nice but didn't speak much english and I didn't want to bother them. I would definitely stay there again but hopefully someone can take a look at these things.
Good value, Great location.
The Cache House is a recently renovated hostel in the basement of the Anvil Hotel only 2 blocks from the Historic Jackson Town Square. Most attractions, shopping, and restaurants are only minutes away by foot. You check in upstairs at the hotel counter. The staff at the counter were friendly, giving nearby food and attraction advice. There is no onsite parking available, so if you have a car you’ll need to find street parking nearby, which depending on what time you arrive could be 2+ blocks away since downtown Jackson is fairly busy. I chose a bottom cube with a Full mattress for easy access. Each cube comes with a mattress, light fixture, outlet with USB ports, a thick privacy curtain that blocks out most light and outside noise, and a small personal fan, which came in handy as I found that even though the common areas were comfortable, the cube itself became quite warm and stuffy when the curtain was closed. Each cube comes with a large wood locker underneath the bed as well as an even larger locker in the hallway for extra storage. Both lockers have combo locks, so no need to bring your own. There were plenty of personal bathrooms with showers. Showers were recently tiled. Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were provided, however I found them to be mostly empty. Several sink faucets were hanging loose, and more often then not there was standing water on the floor due to the lack of floor drains. Overall my expectations were exceeded and I enjoyed my stay at Cache House.
Great location but that's it
Location is obviously great - but unfortunately putting a hostel in a basement with no windows at all is tough. I couldn't sleep b/c of thermostat is one setting for entire area (way too hot). Showers were not clean and fixtures were broken.
When my wife and I saw this set up, we looked at each other said no way we could stay there. No privacy what so ever. It was like a dorm at a bunk house. So we took our loses and left.
Not terrible but not great.
For a Hostel it really wasn’t that bad annd even kind of cute. Our bunk was only given 1 towel for 2 people and almost every bathroom was out of toilet paper and shower gel. If the housekeeping was better kept I would have given a higher rating.
Stress that there is only parking on the streets. Let’s know better times for finding parking.
For a bunk house style property i think it was great, altho this was my first time. Bed and pillows were great! Locked storage was good. Was hard to find as it is below the avirl hotel and check in is in that hotel. It however did not seem to have any attendant or cleaning services. Great for the price and location to Jackson square.
Great place. Very accomodating staff
It was such a well behaved hostel and always v clean and quiet and never smelt
Did not stay at the place. Had to cancel at the last minute due to insufficient parking spaces and lousy hazardous "Bunk bed"
location
Fun place !
The place was clean and you get towels and lockers for ypur stay. I liked the bed. The place could do with air freshener or more ventilation there was always a smell in the common area
Average
Struggled with it being a bit hot and stuffy in the cubie, some guests lacked privacy, and a little difficult to get towels for more than a one night stay.
I was ok with this place but didnt realize it was a hostel. For a little more money I could have stayed in a regular hotel room. Its very clean and surprizingly quiet.
Hotel and Hostel. Make sure you book correct one.
This stay was ok. When I booked, I thought it was a hotel. Cache house is a hostel. The Anvil Hotel is the actual hotel. They are on top of the hostel. There were other people that made the same mistake and booked the hostel thinking it was the hotel. The hotel is outdated, but our room was clean. The service was poor and to switch to the hotel room was an additional 150.00. To be fair, everything is expensive here. But for the same amount, you could stay at a more updated place that offers breakfast. Wasn’t terrible but i won’t book again
Great place
Very good
I have stayed at dozens of hostels... this is the nicet, comfiest hostel i have EVER stayed at... although due to the set up... took like 15 mins to find someone to check in..
Perfect for passing through.
Really Good. But no parking.
Overall, I would recommend it. All my expectations were met…except parking. There is no parking near by.
Seemed a little too quiet. Needed a bit more music and a possibly a small tv. Free coffee was great!
You can save money here sharing your room with another guest. Not for everyone, but great for groups that want affordable and safe accommodations
Had to use a floor mat towel. Said the provided towels, and there were not any proper towels to be found anywhere. I would have brought my own but I left mine in the truck thinking they had towels… Beds and sheets were very comfortable and clean though!
Clean, but flawed
Their is no kitchen area, which is fine, but they never have towels available that are larger then hand towels... and they are very slow to replace toilet paper, which is a ridiculous thing to hide from people.
Only overnight parking during winter is half a mile away, there is no food storage or microwave. No ski storage people just leave there massive ski bags on the ground. The beds while comfy get super hot because of how they are enclosed. Even with several people mentioned the uncomfortable heat at night nothing changed
Never stayed in a hostel before. I was concerned about safety. Cache House was a great first experience at a hostel. It was clean. I felt safe.
The Cache House can't quite call itself a hostel. Pros: Clean, comfortable bedding. Good location. Lockers were a nice option, but nothing big enough for ski gear. Cons: Overall, it seems like the facility is severely understaffed with basic maintenance and upkeep not performed. Half of the showers were not functional and 2 of the 3 sinks were not working. Most of the bathroom facilities could really use a deep clean. Body wash/shampoo dispensers were beat up and largely empty. No fridge (!!!) or cooking facilities of any kind available. There is no one staffed in the basement and it seems like the building significantly prioritizes the hotel upstairs with the hostel being an afterthought.
The walk to and from the free parking garage was not the most pleasant in the frigid weather. I gave up on the lockers (foot locker and larger one) because of being locked out of each one twice. Finally, the least pleasant part was that some of the people didn't respect the quiet hours.
First hostel I’ve stayed in within the United States. This was the cleanest, most efficient, and greatest central location I’ve ever experienced. That combined with the large community of young people made for a night to remember! Highly recommend.
Great price. Clean Quiet
Nice hostel!
Honestly this place exceeded my expectations. I love that the bunks are enough for two people with outlets. There’s a lamp and a fan and you get your own lock drawer and locker. There’s also multiple bathrooms and shower rooms. There’s also a projector so if you want to watch a movie or show you can! Also the aesthetics are very welcoming and warm, Definitely will stay here again in the future.
Great place to stay if you need a place to crash. Very affordable and convenient to get to dining and shopping around the area.
Loved everything!
It’s a nice place
Unique, set up comfy beds great facilities and excellent value for money.
The pictures shown by the booking site was NOT indicative of the place in any way shape or form. While the stay was very pleasant, it was not what was expected. The booking site needs to do a much better job
Great place to stay when visiting the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole!
Everything you need
Great place to stay, friendly and welcoming staff. Great value for an amazing time in Jackson Hole.
Loud. But maybe i m too old
Extremely professional and friendly. I will definitely recommend this place and I look forward to my next visit.
.
The price, good staff, accommodating, and goid customer service
Very convenient. Close to everything downtown. Very quiet.
second time staying at cache, love this place!
Very nice place. Super private bunks and clean, private, spacious bathrooms and showers. Provides all you need as far as towels, soaps, locks, outlets, etc. The staff (who work for the hotel upstairs) are very kind. Excellent location in the heart of town.
Very interesting concept and very affordable in the hearth of Jackson.
We were very pleased with our stay Only limited parking

This is a great option for a no frills place to stay. The beds are comfortable, they have lockable drawers for your belongings, free regular coffee in themorning, it’s next to a public transportation stop, and the location cannot be beat. I marked it down a star for cleanliness because they could stand to vacuum around the mattresses, the floor in some of the bathroom stalls needed attention, and the sinks sometimes filled up and there wasn’t a lever to drain them.
