It's a great place to stay.

Great location, convenient amenities, friendly staff, good all round as anticipated, return visit a few times over the past few years. Would stay again next visit.

Close to everything Clean

Check in was easy. Gentleman on reception was warm and friendly. Thorough knowledge of the property and gave terrific recommendations when asked. Would recommend as an excellent place to stay.

Best value in Byron

This place is an outstanding value in Byron Bay. Location is excellent. Staff are lovely. Apartment had everything. Modern updates and comfortable beds. Squeaky clean. Plus free underground parking! I would definitely stay again!

Close by everything

Great friendly staff on check in. Was nice to be greeted by name. Suited our needs perfectly and was well in our budget. For us it ticked all the boxes that we required

Too stay

Good stay, quiet and cozy, close to town but far enough away to not be a hassle

Walking distance to everything! Inc - cafes, supermarket, beaches, cinemas, restaurants/eateries. The rooms are always spotless and the bathrooms have been tastefully refurbished. The most courteous and helpful staff at reception! Excellent value for money.

The property was close to the shops bars and beach etc. The apartment itself had everything we needed, including a washing machine, iron etc The young lady on Reception was very helpful, most polite and went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with the place.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always received a warm welcome on arrival. 10/10 for reception! The apartment has also always been spotlessly cleaned. 10/10 cleaners! Very affordable, considering you are within walking distance of everything (beaches, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets)

Not really a place to stay with young children because of stairs ,noise and smoking from other balconies. Good location and for young travellers Hosts very friendly and helpful .

Great value, clean and comfortable - nicely renovated. Location is in the middle of Byron, five minutes from the beach, right near shops and restaurants.

The owners were more than happy to accommodate our 10.30am check in due to our 11.30am commitment on Saturday. They were very helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. the price was very reasonable for the location. It is only 2 blocks from the main street and close to restaurants and beach. We will stay there again when in Byron.

Great location, good room size, clean & affordable

Great value accommodation in the heart of Byron. Free undercover parking. Property is a little dated but the room was clean, spacious and well-equipped for a comfortable stay.

Over night stay

We only stayed for one night to break up the long trip from Sydney back to Queensland, it seemed good for this overnight stay. But the bedding configuration was a bit confusing for us.

The location is very nice, close to the beach and restaurants. But the closeness to the bars makes it quite noisy at night. Overall it's a good place to stay.

Great location, very close to dive centre where we needed to be.

It was simple accomodation but was clean and tidy had a small kitchen and appliances, own laundry facilities, air con and balcony. The Chechen and checkout was very easy and the attending was lovely. Great location to the main beach and shops. If you are looking for a affordable stay and close to the shops this place I would recommend.

The room was dominated by bulky wardrobe cabinets. TV was poorly positioned. No inside table. General condition: Run down Bathroom very cramped. Never again!

The motel is a little tired but well equipped with washing n dryer machines. There is dishwasher but no appropriate detergent. Opposite is a reserve full of fruit bats, so can be very noisy. Great location.

Comfortable,clean and tidy. A double and single bed in the room which was spacious enough. Nice to have a little balcony overlooking the road. Easy 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Nothing flash but good for the price.

Spacious 2nd floor room with balcony on the street. 8minute walk to central town.Would rate as a good 3.5 star. Recommended.

did not do the cleaning while we there for 4 days they only taking the rubbish out and change towels even though we hang the sign to clean the room change bed sheets etc.. other than that it is ok...

It was in a good location and walking distance to everything. Place was clean and tidy, however no daily service. Asked for a room with a balcony at time of booking, there are 20 rooms and 18 have balconies. The place was no where near full and we got the room without the balcony.

Great location good value for money close to food shops beach

Not what I expected.

The place was clean. There was no face cloths provided with the towels. The TV did not work and was placed on top of the wardrobe which was parallel to the bed so could not see it anyhow if it worked. The phone did not work. It was a quiet location. The first girl we met at reception was very friendly but the second receptionist was indifferent and was not very helpful.

I liked the location, cleanliness and room facilities. The tiled floors and ceiling fans were great. I did not like that it was a bit noisy in the evenings. Other guests talking in the hallway could be clearly heard inside the room. it was just as they were greeting each other and coordinating outings so it was not a big deal. The air-conditioner remote did not work and it was replaced and worked well after I reported it twice. Other than that it was a great stay. I would stay there again.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The property and rooms were clean. Perfect location.

Great location and well priced. The only negative is the wifi really just didn't work for the entire 6 days we were there. I had a few video conferences for work I needed to attended and had to resort to hot spotting to get around it.

Bad communication

Was informed on our arrival for check-in in the afternoon that we would not be able to stay, as we resided in Sydney which was considered a Covid hotspot. No prior communication was received warning us of this, leaving us without a place to stay that night. If the hotel required our residential address to confirm whether or not we were permitted to stay, they should have contacted us prior to our arrival. Not wait till our arrival. Very disappointed with the lack of communication, foresight & inconvenience caused. Will not be booking again.

ROAD TRIP

Our stay was nice and relaxing

The location is great - handy to everything. But the downside of that is that it’s in a concrete canyon where every noise is amplified. Facilities clean but tired. Staff very nice!

Great location, nice and close to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only dislike wast the bedding the quilt over could be more comfortable and the pillows were rather flat however there was a spare pillow in the cupboard to allow a better sleep.

Was in a great location, just a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Rooms were pretty small but would still recommend because of location and facilities.

I was up for work, but great location and walking distance to pretty much everything.

The location was wonderful. We didn't know if apartments were meant to be serviced or not.. In a week, the carpet was not vacuumed & I think the bed was made once. Obvious lack of communication. Also, strict rules about no visitors in room is most unkind.

Great spot, close to w writhing without being right in the centre of all the noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious but was a little tired and was a bit in need of a refurb.

Good cental location, able to walk easily to the beach and restaurants/shops. Rooms are clean and have all the basic amenities. Undercover parking easy to access. Good size room for a family of four. No pool, but beach is close by. Not modern decor, but clean and comfortable.

The apartment came fully equipped with everything i needed. The balcony was nice and private and the service was fantastic when I checked in

Everything was wonderful except the fact that we had too walk up 2 flights of stairs with all our luggage. It proved very difficult for me a I have bad arthritis in both my hands and find it nearly impossible to lift anything. Perhaps I should have enquired re this before booking. Otherwise all was very nice.

Due to an accident we couldn't make it to Byron Bay. We contacted Management at Central Studio Apartments and we were asked to provide a doctors certificate so a refund could be processed. We provided the Doctors certificate and heard nothing from CSA management. We contacted Wotif who were able to arrange a partial refund. Thank you Wotif. We have no intentions of ever making a booking with Central Studio Apartments in the future.

The property need updating . Very tired and worn out rooms .

Property was older, but was immaculately clean and well maintained. Placed I n the heart of Byron would recommend it to anyone.

Good location, close to town, but beds are on castors on tile floor, which means you can't sit up and lean against the wall, because the bed will move. Cooktop was difficult to operate, there's an error in the instructions, and the small hotplate doesn't work beyond warm. Rinsing with hot water is difficult when washing up because the tap is spring-loaded to prevent wasting hot water. Sleep was disturbed by noise of doors closing, plus light came in through window above the bed.

Location is fantastic - in walking distance of everything we needed but still in a quiet part of town. Staff were friendly and the rooms comfortable. We’ll definitely be staying here again.
