The staff were friendly and professional and we have stayed there a few times and if we return to Moree would stay there again.

Ok, but not really up to par

For the price, it was ok, but the lack of usable internet, substandard aircon and TV that is way out of date, really does outweigh anything I can say for the positive. The owners are fantastic but I believe that a little update on technologies would be advantageous. As a person that travels for business often, this is not the level I expected even for the price I paid. I've stayed in places that were cheaper and much more modern for what i received. Shame as this place used to be great.

Roomy facilities but a bit dated. Bathroom needs renovation

Not only were the rooms shabby and dirty but a few nights earlier motel doors had been smashed by local gangs who stole guests cars. We were very concerned it would happen again!! The whole grounds needs work e.g. weeds around pool. Wouldn't stay here again!

Dining room was closed. No options for breakfast. Property security was lacking. 2rooms broken into on previous night and car keys and cars stolen. .

The staff were so friendly and funny. I posted on FB we stayed here and it turns out it's very popular (for a motor inn). Great restaurant on site too. Would definitely stay again.

Quick sign in. Restaurant on site & reasonably priced

Walls were a bit thin, it felt like the people talking next door were in your room, shower was terrible, TV didn’t work and the extra lock on the door was broken, the restaurant was fantastic and it was clean though.

Highly recommend this motel. Extremely accommodating. We had an early hours of the morning arrival and our key was easily accessed. The room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfy. Staff were amazing, professional and their communication was fantastic

Secure site, clean tidy room, with sufficient amenities. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the attached restaurant is a 10 out of 10. We stayed here on our trip north, and decided to stay again on the return journey.

The motel is clean and cheap. It is an older style motel, reflected in the budget friendly price. The staff are very friendly.

Clean and tidy, friendly staff and very good value for money.

Big Motel but needs some maintenance

A lot of noisey young people having a party at our front door during the wee small hours of the night. Rooms are not sound proof, after their party had to listen to people vomiting all night. Management did not seem to care.

Very handy

Quiet location with large parking area. Room had toaster but no plates or cutlery. Great size TV. Great water pressure and hot shower. Comfy beds.

Clean and spacious room with comfortable bed ! I had a great quiet sleep ! Excellent hot water shower and easy check in process! They let me to check in earlier even though I haven't organised it prior . Highly recommend this hotel !

Great location just outside town, easy access to North Moree

Overall very good,quiet clean, only downside was mattress on single bed was very soft.

Good value. Spacious rooms with microwave and toaster. Quiet and on edge of town = secure

Noise from aircon somewhere nearby all night no tea coffee sugar, crushed biscuits.. cobwebs behind side cupboards ok otherwise

It was off the main road and very quiet the only think I have is used soap in the shower

We have stayed here on numerous occasions, it is priced accordingly, it is neat and clean, restaurant it beautiful, facilities are tired, but functionable.

The motel was easy to access & quiet. The beds were really comfortable. The room was clean, the only negative was the shower walls needed a scrub.

Handy location when overnighting in Moree

The room was amazing and i was pleasantly surprised.

Whilst accepting that this is an old property and used mainly by truckers and tradies, the presentation of the room was mediocre, not fresh and clean looking and limited in facilities. Bathroom very basic and towels old and worn. Nice location but needing a lot of tlc.

This was a good place for one night, although it looked like it could do with a bit of a clean up. We had a swim in the pool, which was a great temperature on a hot day, but the pool was a bit dirty (lots of sticks and leaves, broken chairs), and needed some repairs. We tried to find out about the breakfast, but the woman on reception was a bit vague about how it worked, and actually recommended we go elsewhere. She said there was a takeaway shop nearby that would do hot food. Overall, it was fine - clean rooms, quick check-in. Probably a nice restaurant, too; it seemed very popular.

Just needs a bit of a tidy up outside. Receptionist didn’t know where to get cheapest petrol…a must in the current climate! Room was spacious, lots of hot water

Room was not very clean. There was a party outside my room until late at night. m Staff were not sympathetic to my complaints the next day

The air conditioning is old and when required cooling is heating etc. very uncomfortable. Motel did not fix it.

Very simple, clean and tidy

The restaurant meal was perfect however the motel room left a lot to be desired. Bed needs replacing sunk in the middle. Lotions in bathroom not refilled. Towel rail not supported Stayed in a lot better

Nice place to stay

The carpet had stains on it.The shower was dirty. The mattress's on the beds where very old and soft . Plus the light in the foyer was flickering so unable to use it. I reported this to reception and the lady said someone will come around and take a look but no one came. Also the internet was difficult to connect. I didnt realise it was on a main highway therefore trucks going through all night.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff however bed was only double not queen size as booked and shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold so very disappointing.

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed at The Bourke and Wills for one night. We were able to book into our accommodation with ease. Staff member was friendly and efficient. The room was clean but tired looking. Eg faded bedspread, curtains not hung up properly. But it had everything we needed and we had a comfortable pleasant stay. We felt safe and it wasn’t noisy. The meal at the explorer restaurant was excellent. The service was excellent . The staff were excellent.

Very cold as aircon was nit working right bed ..at one stage powerpoints shorted out.very acerage all round

Quiet and clean

Unfortunately my room had a long black hair draped over the bathroom toilet and stuck on the bathroom tiles. Being greeted with that set the wrong tone for my overnight stay. Sorry. And the restaurant was closed reducing options to takeaway. Yuk.

It was good to be able to get a drink & meal without leaving the premises. The menu isn't cheap, but the food was excellent, so definitely value for money.

Great for an over night stay, owners just need to ensure shampoo/ soap dispensers are maintained.
