cleanliness is okay. parking is adequate and safe. just a little sad, my room is booking for 3 people. there are 3 beds. but towels only get two. for extra towels increment rm6. a little sad. because of other hotels when booking. no extra charge, I paid for 3 people. 3 beds. there should be 3 towels. for the convenience of tourists. But the breakfast is totally valuable, paid for three and get three ticket for brekfast. Food was nice and delicious.

Not to far from the water park

Friendly staff but facilities n room need upgrade.

Hotel consider old although they already did some refurbishment, but with the price it is still acceptable.

My room smelly and there was a stain at bed sheet.

First time , stayed humble hotel..great experience..really suitable team building . Will next time go again. Keep going and improve.

Our staying at the hotel was great. The hotel staffs were very friendly and supportive providing very good services.

Nice and close to the plus highway.

There were lots of mosquitoes and the solution that they have were to spray the whole room with repellant which was not suitable as I have two children. The good thing was the morning air n scenery of the lake as we had our breakfast which was quite good.

Hotel fill with outdoor activity and kids love it

Overall ok hotel queit far from petrol pump and any shop.furniture already old. No tel inside the room to make call registration or to request towel.notice on 2nd day house keeping only tuck inback the bedsheet without changing it and some stain still found in the sheet. I give 7 out of 10 scale.

nice view ,very continence lots of parking lot but still have to pay even if u stat at the hotel. Room look old but still ok can sleep.

Mislead info. Avoid this place

My holiday was ruined by this idiot management. Pls be aware and I put this place was trying to cheat their guest. I even did not have a bath because room & toilet too dirty. This place also been close for a while after bacteria ecoli outbreak was found Pls avoid and avoid this place Thanks Unhappy Guest

Good if u come with family and children but for couple there is no activities available because theres only have theme park and Pulau Org Hutan to visit.

Run Down Hotel - Complete Dissapointment

I chose to stay at this resort for the convenience of a sporting event, this hotel is extremely run down - all of it. The room I was assigned to was horrific, it was completely run down, old, smelled musty. The sofa was scratched, the TV and minibar were so old that I did not touch them - properly did not even work, the bathroom was dirty and the bathtub was stained with gunks. Thank god there was hot water for shower. Based on the condition of the entire resort and my room I thought all their rooms must be as bad, I later found out that they have some renovated rooms however I was not one of the lucky people to get it. So I decided I would shorten my stay from 2 nights to 1. If you have to be in Taiping I would suggest you avoid this resort completely, even though they have renovated rooms their facilities are extremely run down. Definitely not recommended.

All through out stay in malaysia this was worst hotel to stay.

Nice, relaxing place with improvement needed

Eating is inconvenient and food is expensive at the resort. Something has to be done to improve on this for the customers convenience.

1. They used "Kampung Air" picture, making me to imagine this is a nice resort along the lake side. But, it is a hostel, motel, instead of a hotel. 2. There is no slippers, hair dryer in the room. The kettle is rusted. 3. Air cond is cold and strong, but it's quite noisy. 4. There are stains everywhere.. 5. The lift is very smelly and scary. 6. The room or the hotel is quite a distance from the lake, please don't expect a "lake view" scenery. 7. It is NOT worth for price that I've paid for. 8. Hot water supply seems turned off in the morning. 9. Pillow has special smell. 10. The entire area barely has ANYTHING to eat. 11. There's ants in the bathroom and the entire room. 12.the elevator has bad smell.

2 Nights in Bukit Merah Laketown resort hotel.

The air conditioner couldn't control temperature, DVD player supplied but couldn't play, very good for those people who wants a quiet period, not much activities or wet activities nearby for children. The bathroom is very good in controlling mixing of hot and cold water for bathing.Surrounding is friendly and isolated from the busy and hassle of the city. Great.

Pathetic and Unethical

It has been one of the pathetic experiences I have had in last decade. The rooms were smelly, furniture old and broken, unclean toilets. There were no clear directions. They were ill maintained. They were only interested in maintaining there swimming pools and entertainment zone to make it appear appealing form outside. There was no drinking water inside the room. On being asked we were informed that they do not provide drinking water in the room. Ridiculous! I had to fetch extra water bottles from my car. How dare can they rent their rooms by not doing basic cleaning and maintenance of the room. I chose it particularly for an extra sofa bed in the room. But the sofa bed was dusty and hopelessly useless. It just feel like even worth sitting on it. It was already very late in the night so I just wanted to leave asap in the morning. I was excited about it being a lake resort and wonderful pictures posted on the website. I did not even take bath there and only thing on my mind was to leave the premises asap. I felt cheated because I would not even pay one-fourth the price for such shabby room. It was my first and last time ever in my life I would ever be there. I would like to forewarn others from booking this hotel. I have seen far better rooms in far more expensive cities at much better price. There is only one word for management - Unethical. They should ask honestly themselves. Would they themselves stay in such rooms paying such a price.

A Laketown Resort

The hotel and it's facilities really needs maintenance especially the room's bathroom. The doors and walls were moldy and some of the timber has started to rot. Bed sheets were clean but signs of wear and tear were very evident. Only good point were the hotel staffs who were pleasant and courteous. Overall it's more a highway motel than a resort hotel.

Orang Hutan Island is a must see

The Ecopark is ok only. The show is not something very exciting. Only with 1 type of bird and didn't last even till 30min. The water park has more varieties. But disappointing for the kids has to queue up to try the walls big balloon thingy. The orang hutan island is the only main attraction here with it's boat ride. The place is dead at nite. We had to drive out to nearest town Taiping which is about 20min ride for some entertainment and food.

The hotel room is comfortable and clean

1. The hotel staffs had provided quality service. They are polite, well trained and friendly. 2. The superior room is comfortable and clean with 4 beds and 1 sofa bed. The maintenance staffs are helpful and efficient. 3. The water pressure in the bathroom are very high. 4. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and had variety of foods. Thumbs up 5. The theme park tickets price was very reasonnable.

Terrible Room Maintenance

First bread are over all the room, can smell very stingy although we check-in at 9 pm. Manage to get the rooms change, however aircond is not working and Bathtub are very dirty. Room is for 4 but only 2 breakfast is given to each room.

Good hotel to stay with family

It was a good experience, but the location is a bit far from the Water Park. You need to travel by vehicle to go there. The swimming pool is very nice and huge. Suitable for kids and baby because there is a swimming pool for kids. Overall it was good. But furniture in the hotel need to be refurbished.

..Bad...my next room guest on the TV at night time. Didn't think people is sleeping. The room have a lot of ants.

A stopover between Cameron & penang

The place is really put of way. We choose it I because we were planning our way up Penang. There were a few local road side eating place. Thus we drove back Taiping town for dinner instead. Except for the day's crowd during due to the water theme park, if not there are hardly people staying there. At a glance the room looks big n spacious. The DVD player wasn't working, neither was the phone. The cabinet to store the also not working fridge was in need of repair. Spider webs were hanging in between shelves space etc.... The closer u look the worse it got. Luckily it was for a night only!

Comfort bed

With 1 double bed, 2 single bed and sofa makes it soooo comfort to stay...aircond functioning well and its soooo cold...swimming pool just ok but the water are not so clean...quiet environment suitable for relaxing....foods serve at restaurant are not so tasty and a bit limited

great location

The sofa bed are not comfort at all. The breakfast buffet line are limited. The air conditioner are not cold at all. The toilet bowl are dirty. The bathroom dirty and the flushing not function. The cleanliness of bathroom totally out. The houskepeer might not clean it at all. I dont think i want to come and stay here again in the future.

The room was decent. We had to ask for change of room as the toilet flush was not working. We had to ask for change of towels everyday. The buffet breakfast didn't have much option of food. The swimming pool was full of people being the holiday time. It water looked very green. So we didn't go into it.
