Gem of a place
This was an amazing place to stay for visiting both yellowstone and grand teton. I will definitely be back. Cute and exceptionally clean. When i extended my stay, they made sure I could keep the same cabin so I didn't need to move my stuff.
Very nice people and nice place
Great place!
I stayed here several nights and it was absolutely amazing. Super clean and adorable! Ive told everyone I know about it because everyone wants to see Yellowstone and Grand Teton now that Ive gone and this was a nice middle ground to visiting both.
Wonderful stay, the cabin is perfect for couples and kids
Very well kept up. Staff does a great job cleaning. I stay at hotels a lot and they did a better job than 90% of them( even higher end ones). Its about an hour drive to west yellow stone. Great expirence, the whole family wants to go back
Was a very quiet qnd peaceful stay and close to yellowstone and other sites would recommend.
Room is really small. No room for a suitcase at all. Room reminded me of the hotel room in London SMALL.
We loved our stay at blue buffalo. The tiny upstairs loft was so fun for our four kids!
The cabin was affordable, clean, and in good condition. Island Park is very spread out so its not really near anything but also not real far either.
Nice little cabin for a quick family stay.
The little cabin was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed.
Highly recommend this place. Close to Yellowstone. Much better than a hotel. You get your own little (or big) cabin. Loved this place!
It was a very clean, and fun place to stay, maybe an extra towel would be good to put on the floor of the shower in front of the toilet as it is in the shower and doesn’t drain completely leaving it damp on the feet the platform in front of the toilet is nice to keep your feet off the floor. Great staff
The cabin was clean, comfy and really roomy. It had everything needed for a wonderful stay. We will definitely use this property again.
Hospitality was great
We stayed here for 3 nights and loved everything about it, zero complaints, cute little cabins with everything in it. Pizza at the restaurant was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean grounds. 35 min away from west entrance to yellowstone NP. Would highly recommned these cabins. We were in cabin 39 which had an upper loft for kids to sleep.
Heat pump outside the bedroom window is terrible placement, very loud off and on all night. The tv service was difficult at best to navigate, we gave up. And why no tissues, had to use toilet paper or paper towels to wipe your nose
Great!
Blue Buffalo Resort was amazing! The cabins are beautiful, inside and out. Super clean and has all the amenities you need. We had a booking issue the first night we got there, however the property office was closed for the night. Called them the next morning and the lady was super friendly, got our room upgraded, and they continued to check on us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay! 10/10 would recommend Blue Buffalo Resort to anyone wanting to have a great trip to the Yellowstone/Teton area and will definitely stay again if we decide to come back!
This was a very nice cabin, it was clean, other than the floor. It seemed to be dirty, so a broom is needed in the cabin to try and keep it clean. There are no dressers or places to put any clothes. The sink area is very small with lots of counter space behind the sink. ??? There was no place to set stuff in the toilet/shower area. (Wet bath) The small refrigerator has a very small freezer space and is definitely to small for longer than a days stay. We enjoyed our stay, but would consider the bigger cabin on our next trip. The cabin is about 1/2 hr from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone.
Wonderful property. Very accommodating. Pleasant employees. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to visiting again.
Love the cabins and locations
The staff was great to work with and answered questions right off. The food in the grill was very good and tasty 😋
Very Quiet and Clean place.
Great communication and very professional approach by staff. Accomodation was great and very clean . WiFi was quick. And pizza cooked on site was amazing
Very nice cabin. The restaurant was also convenient and had very good food. Laundry facilities were clean and convenient. Front office had good communication via text. Easy drive to Yellowstone. Local restaurants and state parks were also nice.
Good fit for my Yellowstone trip
Super charming and unique. Very quiet and clean. Good location
Family road trip
The communication from staff, ease of check in, the surprise at how awesome the lodge was it all well exceeded our expectations! This was by far the best stop we’ve had throughout our 2 week roadtrip. We definitely will keep this place on our list when we come back to Yellowstone!
This was a comfortable place for our family of 6 to stay while visiting the area. They had everything you needed.
Just not up to par!
If you think this is small, I can assure you it’s even smaller! Floor looked clean but I spilled water and when I cleaned it up the rag was black. The shower didn’t drain all the way, and since your toilet is in the shower, your feet get wet every time you go in there. Not an overall good stay!
Loved the Amish cabin. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed for our visit to Yellowstone and Jackson.
The two ladies who manage the property came quickly to assist us on how to get the TV working. They are sweet and polite. But the way the cabine was advertised I thought this cabine could accommodate three adults comfortably. The lift though has a VERY short ceiling and adults couldn’t stand up. Actually, most of 10 year-olds couldn’t either. Then we thought “Awww … how cute! This loft was built for toddlers”. But than the stairs are WAY too steep ! Way too dangerous for kids and adults. The steps are narrow and very high. So … two of the adults in our group ended up sleeping in the living room. But all in all it was a good stay. My friends complained that due to no black-out blinders on the windows the cute outside lights bothered them during their sleep. Great service though! And the river RIGHT ACROSS the resort was a treat!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Buffalo Resort. The cabins are adorable and comfortable, and the amenities are first rate. Excellent value, comfort and accessibility to all the locations we visited. Highest recommendations!!
We enjoyed our 2 tight stay. Clean and comfy.
Unit was very cozy, clean with a t.v. fridge and microwave that came in handy, it is not the largest cabin, so if you like plenty of room book a unit for 3 people and up which we will do next time we return to the area.
The place was fine, just small!
For context, this was a family trip with my wife and two teenaged kids that took us through Montana, Idaho and Yellowstone National Park. This was our first time through these states and in this area. The cabins themselves are absolutely perfect for a family our size. Even though our kids are quite tall, they both loved the upper bunk area to sleep in. Everything was super clean and the cabins had a wonderful eucalyptus smell running through an oil diffuser when we arrived. There was tons of storage space in the kitchen and all dishes/pans/utensils were provided. They even had salt and pepper as well as vegetable oil to use for cooking. The area is beautiful and along the main highway through the area. The cabin we had been allocated was further away from the roadway and we were not impacted by the traffic. On site is a small pizza place that was some of the best pizza we've ever had. It was a great hub for our activities in the area over the three days we stayed and we will certainly be back.
We were in the small cabin. It is very small, but perfect if you just need a place to sleep. Check in and check out were all done via text. Very easy and convenient!
Nice area, clean, comfortable, away from crowds
Will highly recommend
They were very accommodating we started with a smaller cabin and decidwd for the bigger one they got us moved right away. Cabins were clean as was the cafe on property and the laundry facility. They even had horseshoes and bean bag games
Very clean and modern, but “mountain man” chalet was not convenient for staying more than a day. E.g. no table or surface to prepare food, play a game. Would recommend for 1 night, but not longer.
The rooms are like tiny houses very compact, but have a fridge and a microwave. A big shower a very comfy bed high ceilings lots of windows. The bed was very comfortable around our limited but the on-site pizza is excellent. Check and check out or done electronically. there are no keys to lose, which I like lots of plug-ins USB ports The only drawback was someone was smoking weed outside, and it was blowing into my unit, not a fan
Loved this spot for a short drive to Yellowstone. Loved the property and will certainly visit again.
I loved staying here. It was so compact but had everything we wanted (except for a water cup to brush my teeth with). It was clean tidy and easy. I'd definitely recommend this property again.
We loved everything about the resort. The only issue we had was with the laundry mat. The washers over soaked our clothing and I had to pay twice for the dryers to make sure our clothing would be dry. Our clothing never got fully dry.
Cute little cabins, just very small.
Super cute
What a wonderful place. Very cute and comfortable.
Overall a great place to stay. New, clean, lots of thoughtful touches to make it comfortable. We rented both the larger cabin with loft and kitchen, and the smaller with just a queen-sized bed. Loved the larger but I wouldn’t stay in the smaller again because of the shower/toilet setup. Once we showered, we had to wade through a puddle to get to the toilet which was a challenge in the middle of the night.
