Pretty, spacious room in Halifax’s North End

Excellent value for money. A very spacious room, located in the North End. I was very comfortable there. Would be challenging for people mobility issues, but for me it was perfect.

Great property, lovely vegan coffee shop in the same building!

I loved the hotel! Easy self check-in process, had all the amenities we needed and close by to a lot of different shops, breweries and restaurants! One thing for them to work on is responsiveness, I’ve asked for an early check-in, but did not receive a response through their text message service. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay here!

Lovely property. Checked in after hours, and checked out before the office opened. It was really stream lined! Easy check in. Everything was perfect. My only complaint would be the fruit flies. I could not even eat or sit and relax without being inundated by them(surrounding my food, flying in my mouth) crawling & landing on me while watching tv. Maybe it was just the suite that I was staying in, but I knowingly killed 30-35. Great location. Super safe. Quiet. Easy check in/out.

The property by itself is well designed and managed. Love the style and taste in every detail. No more mo less. Just perfect. Very comfortable. The cons are that the location is a bit out of downtown waterfront, and in a reviving area with lots of constructions.a bit creepy at the beginning. Street parking only. 1-2 hours only in the day time and 6pm-8am at night. It would make new visitors feel a bit more warm if there is anybody showing up at the reception. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. NOT even one single person/receptionist ever showed up. As a hospitality industry, you have lost that human touch.

Will definitely be back, best spot in town by FAR!

Surely there are better places to stay

Received after hours check in instructions that were unclear and incomplete. No elevator or assistance with bags up 40 steep steps to the third floor. Bed essentially on the ground. Coffee maker was broken and we never spoke to a person (or saw a person) entire time we were there. No ice. Loud street noise all night. Street parking with lots of late night foot traffic. As planning to stay again at the return of our trip - cancelled and booked elsewhere!

As expected , very enjoyable amend relaxing, quiet. Met our needs. Parking on side street worked fine…very close and was a non issue. On vacation and not being familiar with the area we drove to most places which were just a few moments away. Would certainly stay again!

Overall good stay

Check in process was super easy! You are sent door codes, and that’s it! Room was a nice size with cute decor. Our only issues were that the bathroom sink seemed to be clogged and didn’t drain, and the bathroom door didn’t latch closed. The post says parking included. This isn’t actually on site. It is in reference to street parking, which can at times be a hassle. Minor inconveniences. Otherwise great location walking distance to bars including Bar Kismet, the local Distillery (Compass Distillery), and delicious donuts at Vandal Donut!

Overall, we felt it was a nice property. It had a good location and lots of places to grab food and a drink. The room was decorated nicely and was very clean which stood out to me. Check-in and check out was easy. What we did not like however was the front door to the building did not automatically lock - it appeared to get stuck and if someone was not paying attention it would not lock. Given there is no concierge, that was a bit concerning. The walls were a bit thin - i could hear our neighbours next to us having an entire conversation and they truly weren't being that loud. It wasn't clear how to access the internet either. Overall, I would recommend it but will probably try other spots in the future. Thanks for the stay!

Great spot walking distance to some of Halifax's best brewerys

Fantastic highly recommended

We had a problem with only luke warm water for the shower. Management was immediate to answer, suggested we didnt let it run long enough. 6-7 minute shower should have been plenty long enough. However, because of the issue, they were quick to offer us a different room which we delcined. Prompt texts but warm water blamed on not running it long enough because the unit hadn't been used recently was a bit farfetched in my opinion.

Nice room, very clean. Very accommodating staff - we had to cancel our second night last minute due to a family illness and they refunded us the cost (thank you!!). Expedia advertises parking included but this is not accurate. There is ample street parking but during the day you have to move your car every two hours, so not ideal if you are travelling with a vehicle.

Its beautiful inside

Super clean and cozy. We stayed there as we were going out in the city for the night and was super easy. Although there’s no dedicated parking, it was super easy to find parking around the corner. Definitely recommend

Halifax North End …. Who needs downtown

This is a modern hotel where unless you want to see a member of staff you never will. The door lock number is emailed to you and you come and go from there. The room was fantastic. So modern and comfortable . All rooms are different. The area is full of great bars and restaurants. No need to go down town, it’s all there. Will be back for sure.

Quiet

I never got to stay at this property. They gave me a code to use to access my suite. I was able to get into the front door with my code, but my designated suite door would not open. I contacted the booking people through their "emergency phone number", as well as by email, and I never heard back. I waited a half hour & had to give up. After travelling all day, I then had to head out to find a different hotel.

Very comfortable and well decorated suites, however little to no sound proofing. Getting in was a challenge as our assigned key code would not work on the suite door. We were stuck in the hallway until we could contact someone. It took 3 phone calls before someone answered, but once they didbthey were quite pleasant and quick to help. Despite the hiccup, we would stay here again :)
