Love it and recommend to anyone!

Friendly and helpful receptionist. Very beautiful spacious room. Bathroom is open concept with see through glass door. We wonder if people from opposite buildings can see us showering 😂 Otherwise, it is a great hotel with a very good restaurant for dinner and the fortress is within walkable distance.

Beautifully renovated with every room having its own theme. Restaurants were fabulous - probably on the more pricey side but food was great. Breakfast was included and had great choices of hot and cold options. 5 minutes walk from the train station and buses to lots of places within 2-5 minutes walk. Ski bus goes once a day to Soll in the morning and returns in the evening.

At Christmastime, hotel was too cold and so small! Room and bath too cramped and tiny and uncomfortable and too chilly for senior citizens. Food in small restaurant was expensive and not great quality or much choice; waitresses did not speak English.

Wow this is a hidden gem. We had India room which was fully decorated like we were in India. Great beds, small but good bathroom. Dinner outside was perfect and breakfast too. In middel of center with nice shops. Only small issue, bar was a gin bar ...but you could order beers in restaurant

The Hotel is absolutely amazing, in a fantastic location in the old part of town, with beautiful rooms, amazing breakfast, and super friendly staff! We had a great time and will definitely come back!

Awesome location, great balcony view room on the river, breakfast was varied and plentiful and really good also! Room was a decorated nicely and great shower pressure in the bathroom! Always a treat while traveling. Oldest Gin bar is right across the street in a cave like establishment. Nice local treat .. as well as a few good restaurants right next door.

This hotel is exceptional from top to bottom. All the quirky details are so fun and the staff is impeccable. Make sure to visit the restaurant as it is superb.

Hot Hotel... Hot Hotel

Lovely fun hotel, lots of little fun touches in the room. great location, the breakfast is amazing, the guy serving is lovely and the food is so tasty. the gin bar lives up to his world class rating... the hotel said it is installing AC, it needs it badly, we were there in a heatwave and our room was unbearable. no fans available, the hotel needs to at least invest in some fans.. great hotel but we would have been better sleeping in the car as it was so hot in the room.

Great location

Located on a very narrow medieval street below Kufstein Castle. Get a balcony overlooking the river. Great hotel! Close by parking.

totally renovated in 2017. It's a true boutique hotel with each room being different with its own geographical theme. In Guiness book of world records for offering more varieties of gin (571) for sale than any establishment in the world. Speakeasy bar is quite unique. Balcony room overlooking the river can't be beat. Great breakfast buffet and plenty of nice cafes within one or two minute walk.

Wonderful stay

The staff here are so friendly and helpful they make the hotel, which is fantastic in any event, stand out even more. This was our second stay and we will return again soon. The beds are comfy, the breakfast delicious and the hotel is Gemudlich !

The staff are invariably super friendly, and seem happy in their jobs. Every aspect of the hotel is top rate.

Great hotel in the center of the old town.

Had a hard time finding the hotel and parking, but once we found it, we were right in the center of the old town and could walk to everything. Food at the restaurant was wonderful!

Go there's once, and you will go back

Perfect romantic weekend. Hotel is just Fabulous. So many tiny derails done just right. Arrival - easy checkin. Room prepared, every room a different character. Location superb. Right in heart of beautiful town. So happens there was street food fest that weekend. Bed super comfortable. Breakfast plentiful, as much as you want. Choices too numerous to list.

Unique hotel - lovely rooms, good location

Great unique hotel. Would recommend and certainly stay again. Great value for money. Only issue is on site parking but you have access to a car park 5 minutes walk away. Try the Gin bar opposite!

Nice hotel in quaint part of Kufstein.

Great, firm handmade mattress. Great shower. Filling and interesting breakfasts with lots of local delicatessen to try. 20min from ski slopes at Scheffau. Missed tea making facilities in the room and would have liked pool/sauna for sore muscles after skiing, but not deal breaker. Great gin cave and steak restaurant just outside hotel.

Great hotel in old town Kufstein

Exellent small hotel in the old part of Kufstein, The room was very very nice, had a single room with modern Austrian decor. It is situated right by the river and there was a great view of the river from the window. Exellent breakfast buffet in the morning, and right across the alley is a great restaurant. A great place to stay with modern rooms in an old building and area with lots of charm. Clean and modern room, service was exellent.

Weekend Stay to break journey home

This hotel provided exactly what we needed for a short stay as part of a longer holiday in Austria. We travelled by train from Innsbruck and were going on to Munich so the location at the edge of the old town, just a few minutes walk over the rive from the station was ideal. It is also ideally located under the old fortress and visiting this was the key reason for our visit. We had a double bedded room with a river view as requested. The bed was comfortable. There was an enormous bath (also with a river view) and a good shower. The room had some rather quirky features which amused us although we did not particularly like those. The food was good. It was a busy place, but not as noisy as we had feared.

A special little hotel in a small picturesque town

People staying in hotel were astounded first of all by great service, perfect location in old town and on the river Inn but especially the most generous buffet I've ever seen. This place is a must and there restaurant excellent and Huge portions. Make sure you get a room with a balcony. A must for only a few extra dollars

Kufstein Hotel

Great except for the late night noise outside in the streets and from the hotel kitchen. Management could do a better job of keeping things quieter at night. Otherwise, great location by train station and downtown. Great rooms and breakfast.

Old Austrian Treasure

The staff at the hotel were most welcoming and helpful with special requests. We arrived on a rainy National Holiday, but had a great experience for the overnight stay. The attached restaurant is full of old world charm and the hotel has a very homey feeling. The breakfast buffet was extensive with many healthy choices. We would definitely stay there again.

It had a perfect loacation, great helping staff, quiet room, comfortable bed, and breakfast was simply the best. We couldn't ask for more. In fact we stayed three days and tried to get an additional day but they were booked and had to stay at another local hotel which was ok but not Alstadt quality.

Sehr cooles Zimmer, gute Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Zimmer war so nett und liebevoll hergerichtet, der Service war klasse. Das Hotel liegt nahe dem Bahnhof und der Burg- man benötigt kein Auto. Alles war perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ansich und das von uns gebuchte Zimmer ist schön und Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend. Die Sauberkeit gerade im Toilettenbereich eine Katastrophe. Wer die Hinterlassenschaften der Vorgänger im Rahmen von Vekalien noch auf seiner Toilette finden möchte und einen Uringeruch aus der Dusche wie auf einem Bahnhofsklo haben möchte ist hier allem Anschein nach richtig. Zumindest war dies in unserem Zimmer 101 so der Fall. Selbst nach nochmaliger Reinigung der Toilette waren die Hinterlassenschaften noch vorhanden. Zudem war die Reinigung der Toilette eine Zumutung. Der Lappen hing zum Teil im Klo, erst wurde die Schüssel, im Anschluss die Brille und dann der Boden mit dem selben Lappen geputzt. Es wurde sich zwar entschuldigt, oder eben eine Reinigung der Toilette angeboten. Auch ein Zimmerwechsel wurde uns zwar angeboten, was wir ablehnten, da wir eigentlich dieses Zimmer haben wollten. Dennoch wäre ein Nachlass oder sonstige Vergünstigung in Aussicht zu stellen, zumindest eine Möglichkeit und eine Art der Entschuldigung gewesen. Wir werden hier definitiv nicht mehr übernachten oder die Unterkunft empfehlen können. Was sehr schade ist, denn die Lage, die Optik und die Ausstattung ist sehr schön. Aber hier wird man dem Sauberkeits- und Hygieneanspruch definitiv so nicht gerecht.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, insb. an der Rezeption.Diese hatte bei unserer gestrigen späten Anreise um 20 Uhr, im Restaurant sofort die Terminzeit auf eibe 1/2 Stunde später reserviert.So konnten wir dennoch das Restaurant mit seinen Köstlichkeiten geniessen.Voelen Danknochmals.

Fint hotell i Kufstein

Bodde en natt i Alte Stadt Suite. Mycket fint och rymligt rum med fönster ut åt den lilla gatan. Bra läge med promenadavstånd till det mesta i Kuftstein. Receptionen hade mycket att göra och det var lång väntetid samt begränsad plats att lämna bagage - ett bagagerum hade varit bra. Bor gärna här igen.

Einfach toll direkt am Inn

Wir hatten die neue Turmsuite. Tolles Zimmer, klasse die alten Steine in den Wänden, Blick auf den Inn, klasse Frühstück, tolles Umfeld, sehr nette Menschen an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück.

gute Lage (sehr zentral), Bett war gemütlich - Parkplatz war voll, Personal war nicht sehr hilfreich, während der Nacht ist es schon etwas lauter (wen das stört), nicht die Zimmerkategorie bekommen die gebucht wurde (im Nachgang einen Gutschein von Expedia erhalten)

Hotel, Restaurant… alles war eine echte Überraschung, wir empfehlen die Location definitiv weiter.

Ein altes Haus preiswert „ aufgepimpt“. Keine Klimaanlage, sehr laute Umgebung, etwas muffiger Geruch im Haus, sehr kleines Zimmer und noch kleineres Bad, nicht ganz sauberes Geschirr beim Frühstück. Auswahl beim Frühstück reichhaltig.

Et af de bedste hoteller vi har været på. Alt var mere end ok. Personalet var meget behjælpelig på alle måder. Hotellet ligger i de skønneste omgivelser. Vi havde et værelse med flodudsigt. Vi spiste aftensmad på hotellet - roomservice, da vi havde hund med. Det var meget lækkert. Ligeledes var morgenmaden. En meget god oplevelse - kommer meget gerne igen.

Zimmer war ok! Heizung konnten wir allerdings nicht finden. Es war aber ein Heizlüfter vorhanden, den wir auch genutzt haben. Parken war nur im Parkhaus etwas entfernt möglich gegen Gebühr!

Die Zimmer sind originell eingerichtet, jedoch eindeutig zu klein. Dass es kein Fernsehgerät hatte störte uns weiter nicht, schon eher, dass keine Stühle vorhanden waren.

Tolle Lage am Inn. Infividuelle Zimmer top ausgestattet. Wir waren in Australien mit Inn Blick. Coole Stollen Gin Bar und landestypisches Restaurant mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung.

Ein tolles Hotel in guter Lage mit ganz individuellen schönen Zimmern. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es gab ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbüffet. Ein Parkplatz konnte zu einem niedrigen Preis in einer Parkgarage dazu gemietet werden.

Super schönes Hotel direkt am Inn gelegen. Wir hatten Glück und haben in einer Nagel neuen Suite übernachten dürfen, die gerade fertig gestellt wurde. Wir würden auf jeden Fall die Suiten empfehlen, der Aufpreis lohnt sich. Das Frühstück ist super und wir würden das Restaurant Auracher unbedingt empfehlen!! Des Weiteren ist die Bar „Stollen“ einen Besuch wert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Neben dem Hotel ist eine Baustelle! 7 Uhr in der Früh war die Nacht vorbei.

Hervorragender Service, ausgezeichnete Küche, feines und vielfältiges Frühstück, super tolle Lage Mitten in der Altstadt und sehr ruhig. Beeindruckende Gin-Bar!

Die Unterkunft war super einzig das man morgens direkt von der Putzmaschine auf der Straße vor dem Zimmer geweckt wurde war etwas störend. Steaks sind zu empfehlen genauso wie die Gin Bar

Et flott hotell med unike rom. Midt i gamlebyen. Rent. Hyggelig personale. Stort utvalg på frokosten. Ikke aercondition, men vifte på rommet. Folk på en restaurant i nærheten hørtes godt når vi hadde vinduet åpnet. Absolutt verdt et besøk. Restauranten anbefales også.

Es hat keinen Hotelcharakter, eher Gasthaus mit Zimmer. Preis/ Leistung ist nicht ausgewogen, dass Personal ist sehr freundlich. Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, für meinen Eindruck zu viel um es immer frisch anzubieten.

Unkomplizierte Anreise. Themenzimmer sehr schön. Alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett.
