The Boutique Hotel Anahí is excellent, the service is impressive, the staff is professional and friendly, the rooms are beautiful and cozy, the cleanliness is crisp and immaculate, it is close to everything you can imagine, everything is within walking distance or just few minutes... We are frequent travelers, we travel from country to country, from Hotel to Hotel, some good and some bad, but the Boutique Hotel Anahí is one of our favorites... We can only say: "Bravo" Drs. Rene & Teresa.
Amazing and friendly staff. Perfect central location to walk to the main spots in Rome. In less than 10 minutes you have a bunch of restaurants, small shops and churches. Also a metro station.
Hotel was nice enough. It's near some touristy locations, so there's that. Plenty restaurants etc etc. A towel was dirty, but we had other ones to use, so no biggy. I'm just leaving this review because staff at reception were really pleasant. Kudos.
Fantastic 3-day stay. Great location, clean and trendy rooms, and very friendly and knowledgable staff
the staff was so friendly and helpful it was a joy to stay here.
Wonderful little hotel. I don’t know if they had breakfast, we didn’t have it. But the suite is beautiful with a great terrace. The Staff was nice and helpful. I would stay here again.
Great location, a bit tired.
I had a nice spacious room with parquet floors and a good-size well-equipped bathroom. The hotel is a bit tired, but it's reasonably priced and has an excellent central location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Don't recommend rooms on 1st floor - too noisy.
Nice hotel in a great location. Could use a bit of updating though
Location is great, property is clean, comfortable, staff is very friendly and cooperative.
Every single staff member helped me with any questions I had. It was a cute and lovely stay
Very small room
The staff were amazing! From storing our luggage while we went on a day trip outside of the city to assisting us in buying the right tickets to take the train from Rome to Florence, everyone was ready to help. Valerio was especially so kind, patient, and helpful! He made our visit comfortable and relaxing with his solid advice for food and transportation. We also liked the location. Many tours pick up and drop off at Piazza Popolo. This hotel is just a few minutes walk, so after a 14 hour tour just having a few steps to go back to the hotel was a relief. We would stay here again.
Convenient and comfortable
The hotel room was clean and comfortable but a little small for 2 beds. The location of the hotel was great for visiting all of the historical sites!! It was a quick hop on the metro or just walk. The staff are so nice and helpful!
The terrace suite had plenty of room for the 3 of us. Beds were harder than expected, but after walking all day, we had no problems sleeping. We slept with the windows open at night, besides a few polizia sirens, it was so quiet. Staff was super friendly and helpfull. They held our luggage until check-in since we arrived super early.
We had a great stay! Clean rooms and super friendly staff. Very walkable to all the sites and safe at night. Would come back in a heart beat.
Very good area for shopping and small hotels but I booked the apartment and it is very good for family, this hotel no have breakfast but inside apartment you can cooking, staff so friendly
I would recommend hotel Anahi to anyone. I loved the LOCATION. I was nervous to book a hotel in Rome since it was my first time visiting, and I wasn't familiar with the area. I am so happy I decided to book Boutique hotel Anahi. The Location was perfect, about 50ft from the people plaza. We walked everywhere except to the Vatican and the train station. Staff was amazing and a couple mornings they had some pastries for guests to enjoy. Another plus was that they held our luggage after checkout.
Perfect location, charming hotel, friendly staff.
Exceptional service
I arrived late and found it a bit difficult to find the place - it’s very easy to miss. The hotel room was small, comfy and had an artsy ambience, good location and exceptionally good service. There were staff 24/7 at the reception. Don’t recall everyone’s name but there were 4 personnel and all of them were very helpful- helped me with booking my airport shuttle and provided shopping/restaurant recommendations to name a few.
The hotel is small in an old building. It was kept very clean. The front desk was staffed 24/7 and the people were friendly and helpful. The room was quite big and had a safe, which was appreciated. Given its proximity to the Popolo Square, cabs were quick to arrive after being called. One complaint was that these hotel name was somewhat concealed, even though the street number was clearly displayed.
Great stay and excellent east walkable location without being in the center of a busy area!
Close to everything
The location was awesome. Only about 100 meters walk from Piazza del Popolo. There are plenty of restaurants around and the streets are full of shops. There is plenty of transportation available to visit all the other sites of Rome and none too far because this hotel is very centrally located. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and was very helpful with any questions. They helped with accomodations and even called for our transportation to the train station. I would stay here again.
The staff was amazing and very courteous. We will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.
It was good in general
Next to piazza popolo
Clean, classy, right next to piazza popolo
Would return
Greeted upon arrival. The location is ideal to metro. Note to stream your clothes upon arrival as they stated they had only 1 steamer. I brought a converter for my steamer yet it did not work. I would stay again as the staff was nice.
A lovely, small and traditional Italian hotel. Friendly staff were very helpful and organised our transport to and from the airport. En-suite bedrooms were beautifully decorated with a quirky feel. Air-con, tea and coffee facilities in the room and Wi-Fi made for an extra comfortable stay. We would definitely return.
We very much liked staying at the Boutique Hotel Anahi. The staff were very helpful and our rooms were comfortable and roomy. The only complaint we had was that there was no breakfast option, as had been advertised on the Expedia site. Finding a reasonably priced and tasty breakfast in the old section of Rome is not easy. The last day we were there was a holiday and almost nothing was open. Having said that, this fact didn't mar our appreciation for this lovely hotel and its helpful staff.
The location of this hotel is fabulous. Close to everything but very quiet. The staff were so kind and amazing. The room and bathroom were spacious and the mini bar was free. The property details on Expedia are misleading and inaccurate. There is no bar, restaurant, or room service. There is a very high end hotel across the street that allows charging privileges to Hotel Anahi but that is not the same thing at all. Air conditioning is not turned on until the city of Rome says it can be, and that is not until sometime in May. (It was unusually warm during our stay in late April). WiFi did not work in the hotel for most of our five day stay. A good experience overall, but the Expedia description promised so much more than we got.
Wonderful helpful staff
Hidden gem in the heart of Rome
Highly recommend Great location- 15mins walk in all directions, to most of the major attractions Rome has to offer Friendly & helpful staff Clean & traditional Italian decorated rooms Close to authentic Roman restaurants Mini supermarket within walking distance for snacks/drinks
Great experience for reasonable price.
This hotel has the typical European in charm. It's in a quiet street. We loved the option to have the included breakfast accross the street in a hidden patio. I would recommend it to everyone heading to Rome. It is very well located just behind Piazza de Popolo. And the staff is charming and helpful. I will be back.
Excellent little find
Excellent location but room was a bit small.
Love this hotel!
Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel room is very beautiful with cold A/C! Love the RFID key to get in hotel lobby and room, makes me feel a lot safer having the hotel locked. Only complaints are the parking, €30 a day for garage parking open 0700-1000 1800-2300. And the elevator was out for most of our stay.
The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival
We loved our stay here. The front desk are amazing and very helpful. I forget the gentleman’s name but he was wonderful. Our room was a great size and was very clean. We had a lovely street view. Very quiet at night. Close to many great restaurants and all the historical attractions were close by to walk or in our case scooter on a Lime! If definatly stay here again.
Very Romantic Hotel
Very cute and romantic get away. Front desk help is actually front desk help! Such a refreshing change. Also it is set off of any main street so the noise is very minimum but it is still short walking distance to the 3 main shopping streets with all of the cute and very delicious food side street restaurants. Almost next door is the Negresco Pizza and Cucina. Food is superb and they just love Americans. Very good food with reasonable prices and they speak very fluent American.
Charming
Located in a central yet quiet area. Restored room, high ceilings and lovely furniture. Staff was very polite. Value for money in its bracket
I arrived at this location at 17:00 on the 14th of August only to be told that my reservation had been cancelled and the hotel was closed with no alternative accommodation booked for me. I was informed by someone who answered their buzzer that many communications had been made to my booking agent (ebookers) but I received no emails etc to inform me of this. I had to make a last minute booking for another hotel and luckily found the Una hotel Deco. I was very stressed and unhappy with the situation and disappointed that ebookers had not contacted me.
Lovely boutique hotel in excellent location with a genuine sense of Italian style
Professional staff and excellent breakfast!
The front desk staff was amazing. Very helpful and professional. Breakfast across the street was excellent through the Hotel Anahi voucher.
Great Stay in Rome for Sightseeing
I had 5 great nights at hotel Anahi. The hotel has an excellent location in the center of Rome. A metro station is nearby. It's also located next to shopping area of Rome.
A grand old hotel, with an amazing bed and beautiful rooms. Great breakfast too. Excellent location. Stay here for sure!
A very sweet boutique hotel. Or room was on the first floor, there was a lift should it be needed. Easy walking distance into the centre of Rome. Breakfast is taken in the hotel opposite the Anahi and a voucher can be obtained from reception. There is an extensive breakfast choice available here and a bar also available, if required. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return :)
We had a wonderful stay at the Anahi Hotel. The room was great with a full-sized bath. The staff were all very welcoming. Breakfast was in the terrace of the connected hotel over the road. There was a good selection and they brought me gluten free bread! we would definitely stay here again.
The front desk/concierge service was excellent. We loved the top floor suite - the terrace was an unexpected perk. Definitely recommend using their car service for the airport as it was very convenient for our early morning flights. We’ll be back!
Great Location, beautiful/antique decoration. Nice Staff, REALLY nice bathroom! Recommended.
Staff and location were perfect.
The hotel was extremely helpful when it came to questions, we arranged with them our transport, which I recommend as they meet you at the airport and deliver you straight to the reception. We arrived well before check in and I room was ready for us, we went on the trip for my friends birthday and they arranged a lovely surprise. The staff were very helpful when it came to directions and giving us recommendations. Our room was lovely and clean, our toilet was leaking which we reported, someone did come the next day and clean it, though it did continue to leak. The house keeping is amazing, our beds were freshly made and new towels were provided. They cleaned away some of things but also respected our privacy. The rooms weren't completely sound proof as when other guests arrived back in the evening we could hear them, very loudly. The tv doesn't have any English speaking channels, the wifi was good in the day but in the evening become very slow to the point it wouldn't load anything. It was quiet difficult to shower without soaking the floor as there wasn't a normal shower but we managed. There was large amounts of storage, with a big wardrobe and drawers. The air con was really good though was noisy at night time. The hotel is in the perfect location, not to close but not to far away from tourist attractions and there loads of restaurants to choose from. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay.
After we paid the rooms to Expedia and arrive to the hotel to check in, the clerk told us that there were no rooms available!!! And that Expedia always makes mistakes in booking people. If we don’t discuss with them and tell them to call an Expedia call center which they didn’t they finally agreed to give us our rooms. It was very stressful. They make Expedia look to be no trustworthy.
Lovely Boutique Style Hotel
Lovely boutique style hotel just off The People’s Place, in a quiet street. We had a room at the front and there was no street noise. We walked to all the sights from here, the coliseum was the furthest at 30mins, Spanish Steps and trevi only 10.. It is also a short walk from the metro. We used public transport to the hotel from the airport and found it all very straight forward. Four stops from Rome Terminal in the metro. Breakfast is across the road which may sound like a disadvantage but it’s an advantage. Its in a beautiful old upmarket hotel and was a good selection from Fresh fruit to a warm and cold buffet, even delicious chocolate cake and Cava!! That hotel has a beautiful courtyard (with heaters) for food and drinks, so it was a nice place for an evening also. The reception staff in Anahi were very pleasant and helpful. They can give you a loan of a travel plug, give you toiletries like toothpaste if you forget them and book tours. We got ours cheaper with the receptionist help than booking before we left.
Quaint Boutique Hotel
We got in late which was great that they have after hours front desk across the way at high end neighboring hotel. They were just ok as far as friendliness but our actual hotel front desk was much nicer throughout our day. Location quiet and away from madness but central and right next to Piazza S Popolo where there is train and bus service. Beautiful vintage boutique hotel. Room was a bit small but fine.
We spent two nights here for our anniversary across Valentines Day and it was a perfect room on level two overlooking the front street. We loved the room.
A good place to stay and ideally located>
The hotel is in an excellent location and most of the sites I wanted to visit were in walking distance. The room could be improved with a comfortable chair. There were no English speaking channels on the television, so it was impossible to keep up to date. The staff were wonderful; they were friendly, helpful, informative and eager to please. The cleanliness of the room was first class, the cleaners were very effective.
Excellent location walkabllity score very high. Trevi Foutain , main shopping strip easily walkable. Cosey accomoadtion very clean and basic no frills.
Nice hotel close to Piazza del popolo
The hotel is much better than I expected . The room is quite spacious (comparing other typical hotel in Rome ) and well maintained . Very close to piazza del popolo and the main shipping area. My only feedback is I prefer the shower with both overhead and shower head , others are all good for me.
Nice location, lacking cleanliness.
We stayed for 3 nights in an apartment they had off site. The bathroom had mold on the walls and wasn’t cleaned well. The dishes in the cabinet were not clean. It was in a great location and did have a terrace, so that was pleasant. They need to have a better cleaning crew.
Great value hotel in Rome
This hotel is great value for money. The staff are wonderful.
Five Nights near the Spanish Steps
The location is great. Just close enough to everything but away enough that you aren't in the middle of the commotion of Rome! First of all hire a car through the hotel to pick you up and take you to the airport. It seems like a lot (50 Euro) but it is less than a cab ride and safer in Rome. The beds are very hard so if that's what you like, like my husband, you are in heaven. For me, a side sleeper, it was agony. I slept very little and woke up sore every morning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were always cleaned in a timely manner with clean towels every day. We enjoyed our stay overall. . . just wish the beds would have been more comfortable. Wifi was iffy at best. . . keep that in mind if you need Wifi while you are there.
Fabulous hotel
Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy too walk to main sights. Definitely recommend it . Avoid breakfast across the road - plenty of better alternatives in surrounding streets.
Ideal base for exploring Rome
Hotel Anahi is in a great location close to Piazza del Popolo. It is a small mid-priced boutique hotel with friendly staff and is very clean and well maintained. Would recommend.
Would definitely come again
Excellent facilities, very friendly staff. Location is a bit far from public transportation.
Great location . Nice suite
Staff is very friendly and tried to do the best . My suite air conditioner and mini bar did not work the day I arrived . The next day they replaced the mini bar and sent a technician to repair it . The hotel is minutes walking to the Spanish plaza and shopping streets . The suite is great for families of 4. The only thing that really bothered me was the queen size mattress . Needs to be replaced . It does not provides ant support now
The staff, rooms, location ...... everything was perfect
Nice hotel close to everything.
It was a nice hotel which was convenient to go to tourist places.
Perfect location
Perfect location, helpful friendly staff, great hotel for the price we paid.
Nice period property in superb location
Fantastic stay, simple property with little in the way of facilities but good service, fantastic location, lovely period features and free wifi
Great small budget hotel
Great location, just few min walking from all main atractions. Easy access to subway. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was verry helpful. They have supplied us with local map and allowes to leave luggage with them after check out. Perfect place for short stay for sightseeing.
Hotel with character in a convenient location.
Hotel was full of character with only a short walk to a great shopping and dining area. Within walking distance of many historic sites, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon within 15 minutes on foot. Coliseum and Vatican about a half hour walk. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful
Great position
Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in a central position close to the three main roads leading to all the main attractions for Rome. Metro close by, restaurants as well, staff very helpful nothing to small. Room was large and spacious, bath air conditioning, beds very comfortable as well. Would stay here again if the opportunity arises.
Cosy boutique hotel close to all key sites
This hotel is hard to fault. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, willing to assist with advice and onward journey arrangements. They provided comprehensive information when we first arrived about the surrounding area, public transport etc. We were offered a coffee when we arrived which was much appreciated after a long trip. They recommended two excellent restaurants for dinner - both were amazing. we would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again if we visit Rome in the future. Breakfast was served at the hotel across the road which was ok but we wouldn't pay 15e again, we would prefer to walk a little and find a cafe
Perfect little hotel with expert staff
A great hotel located perfectly to visit key areas Spanish steps, Fontana Di Trevi, villa Borghese, Colosseum etc
Wonderful stay in Rome!
Fantastic staff, very friendly and accomodating. Gave me great advice on what to see in Rome.

If you are looking for an upscale hotel with lots of amenities this may not be for you. But if you want a comfortable, charming, authentic, friendly hotel in a great location providing walking access to all the best Rome attractions then this is the place for you. We would definitely stay her again.
