The walls where dotted with mould and peeling there were two bugs and stains on the pillows in the bed and bug poo around the sink very damp and dirty DO NOT STAY!!!

Our covered in mold. My friends and I all got bad coughs after staying here. The mold was even on the pillows and when they cleaned our room they wouldn’t give us new towels despite us staying there for multiple days.

You get what you pay for, there is a reason it’s cheap, stayed 4 nights, never had a hot shower, asked about the problem but was told water is on a heat schedule, the breakfast was poor for a westerner, we ended up going out for breakfast, bathrooms needed a lot of work looks very run down, only good things were the AC was nice and cold and bed comfy

First time in Bali and this was my first hotel in this trip. Honestly I'm quite disappointed by its cleanliness and conditions. Toilet tower rack is dropping. Air-con had water dripping. Lots of hair on different parts of the room.Dirt and stains are everywhere. But the technician was efficient in fixing these. The reception staff were helpful. The location is good. But i wish that the hotel management will put effort in hiring sufficient staff with proper training to clean up the room. This could definitely help you to raise your room rate.

The hotel is in a great spot, but the hotel is starting to become quite run down, no restaurant downstairs, no rooftop bar anymore. Staff are lovely though.

It was not bad for the budget hotel rates

The hotel has changed management, taking over from an old budget hotel. Due to the COVID-19 recession, maintenance has become difficult, making the hotel appear less clean. However, the staff and service provided are excellent.

The room had bedbugs and they gave me a new room. The staff was very friendly and it’s not their fault but the room conditions need upgrade and it was very dirty. I will not stay there again.

The friendliness and the service received from all staff was the highlight. It is conveniently located and easy to walk to places from here. There was a ‘pool bar’ which wasn’t open however. But overall was lovely and clean and a great stay.

Hotel location is great, staff were amazing. The hotel is currently under going renovations but this didnt impact on our stay. Nice clean room, facilities were great. Only thing its missing is a fridge in the room. Breakfast is buffet and has a great range. The towels and sheets are slightly grey in colour but still fresh and clean. Would certainly stay again.

The rooms were small, no fridge to keep water cold. Bathroom slightly dirty, beds were so hard struggled to sleep. Not much choice for breakfast if you were gluten free, or didnt want Indonesian food first thing in the morning.Swimming pool was under construction whilst we stayed there. However, staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The staff is just wonderful. Willing to help you at any time. Extremely kind! For example, I was having some issues with the remote control and as soon as I told them, they put a new tv in my room. Brilliant!

Electrical wires hanging from ceiling, wasn't aloud at pool, lights in room didn't work, locks on doors were broken, breakfast wasn't very good. But staff were friendly and helpful

The rooms were very small, but the staff were really very helpful. Staff did help us out by preparing veg. breakfast for us. I will give 5/5 for the staff's excellent service. Hotel's car service was also very useful to us as we had not booked any tour or transport prior to reaching Bali.

Fantastic staff service but property is old and run down. Fittings and amenities in room are mostly worn out and appear abused or broken. It also doesn’t appear to be clean in general.

Cockroaches in the bathroom, no fridge in the rooms, wifi is shocking, hotel is very dated and feels more like a hostel than a hotel, staff were not helpful at all, and the lady at the desk when we said we were leaving couldn’t be more happy that it “wasn’t refundable” - avoid at all costs this place is horrible, we only stayed 2 out of the 10 nights booked because it was so awful

I had the family room and it was so compact the bulk beds were so high for the kids they don’t change the sheets everyday ,didn’t have much choice of breakfast kids didn’t eat anything, we checked earlier and moved to other hotel

An ok stay-only for sleeping

I had a 'ok' stay here. The room served its purpose as a sleeping place. Tho...there were stains on the sheets and pillows and small ants running around and the shower could use a deep cleaning or remodel. Most of the rooms have a balcony that faces a indoor plaza or eating area. The rooftop pool was nice. The location is no more than 10 minutes away from beach. The place does look very nice from the outside. Overall-i would stay here again but not if i was on a honeymoon.

Nothing appealing about this hotel!!

We weren’t able to check in till 1030 due to a light issue in our family room. When we did finally get in the bed sheets on the main bed still had lipstick and stains. We only stayed for a quick 2 nights, we would not use the hotel again. Very old hotel.

For a cheap hotel the facilities were OK.

Cheap night rate and close to all Legian attractions. Room clean with aircon but only suggestion is they should offer a bar fridge in room for cold drinks or medication storage. Breakfast cheap as chips but is very traditional, so if you like big choices it's not there. Fresh juices should be on offer for additional price. Locals and other Indonesians appear to mainly use hotel therefore cafe restaurant at night is barely used, meal quality rated low. Overall it was good value for rate.

The hotel was so so.. Room was spacious enough but wuestionable cleanliness. Water smelled funny when we first turned in the faucet. Beddings smelled funny too. Staff were friendly. Breakfast wasnt that good. No eggs were at the buffet on pur 2nd day. Bread ran out on the first day. Wont be staying here again.

Nice cheap hotel by the beach, great staff

Definitely not the nicest hotel I've stayed in but for the price it was good! The staff is great and the rooms are nice, just not in the best condition. We also found a cockroach in our shower. Great location and amenities though. For 4 college students, it worked great

Quiet location

Nice restaurants and shops around the area. 20 min walk to double beach. Seminyak beach is at least a 30min walk. Good shower, clean sheets.

Nice hotel at first, but far from beach

~Very disappoint with the Hotel Air condition especially during morning breakfast. The venue for breakfast is in the middle of hotel rooms, All hot air from room's Air-con capture there. So sweat a lot during breakfast. Not much choice for the breakfast. ~Inside the room no enough lighting, all yellow light so a bit dark for reading! ~Hotel staff are friendly enough.

Ok for a night

Our room had a balcony which was inside the hotel over looking the restaurant. Breakfast had lots of Indonesian options. Staff were nice.

Cheap place comfortable

Bedroom comfortable except the cleaning I find a old cigarette on a chair, and the bedroom was not sweep. Swimming pool water was trouble and dirty, nice view but not a good service at the pool bar who don't have any drink menu, and nothing else than a small amount of bintang. Expect 1h to have a bath towel Clean hall and good decoration

Nice hotel close to the beach and restaurants.

Overall it was a pleasant atmosphere, quiet and peaceful setting. Need improvement on the breakfast, a bit more variety that will suit the western people to . The staff were friendly and helpful, assisted with everything we needed.

Pleasant stay ib Legian.

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. We found everything to be just fine. A very good value for price and location. We would recommend it to others.

Great value and friendly service

Great value for money and close to the beach, shopping and other attractions. Delays at check in (room not ready) were balanced with the efforts of the friendly staff. The pool area was deserted, probably due to the absence of any shade. I'd definitely stay there again!

A nice stay within the budget

Pros: - Great price. - Good location. It's walkable to Double Six Beach, closer to Seminyak shops area, a bit far (but still walkable for me) to Legian's nightlife. Far enough from hustle bustle. - Clean & nice room with chic concept. - All staffs are very friendly & helpful. Cons: - Too dim room. It was cozy but it is not really convenient when you need to get ready to go out in the evening. - The room is facing inside into the restaurant. I didn't expect the view, but somehow there was a bit noise of cuttleries in the early morning when they prepare for the breakfast. - Is it only me who didn't find another, or it is only 1 socket available in each room? I need to keep changing alternately with my sister when we need to charge up our cell phone. Overall it was an OK and nice stay with MaxOne.

average hotel close to beach and shopping

Breakfast and no fridge in room was my only issue. Breakfast was cold food with candles under trays which most of the time were not alight if that would keep a big tray hot!? We were able to get hot scrambled egg made especially for us most mornings and the occasional pancake with syrup otherwise you had cold food.

Is this a 5 star hotel? No. I rated a 5 or the higest level, because for its category it was great. The hotel is in Legian, near the party district of Kuta, but far enough away we didn't hear any noise. It's also near the more trendy, Seminyak. Close to shops (everywhere is near shops), and it's close to the beach. We walked everywhere with no issues. A pool would have been great. The service is exceptional, everyone was super nice and accomendating. For the price, you will be very happy here.

Staff is really friendly and very helpful , they're very receptive and despite some languages barriers they will do all possible to help. Very good breakfast , most is indonesian food(best quality) but you can order western meals for breakfast . Location is very convenient , 15 minutes walking to the beach and many shops around, definitely a good experience... By the way a very nice pool!!!

Beach experience

Its near enough to the beach but not on the beach. Would like to have been nearer.

Location was okay

We booked the family room which was very small and overlooked the dining area. About 5.30 every morning they would start setting up and it was very noisy - no hope of a lie in! Location was okay, room cleanliness could have been better - no fridge. Whilst I wouldn't stay there again it was okay for the cheap price and convenient to everything. Pool was good, staff were happy to assist with anything.

I loved staying at maxone hotel in legian! The hotel was so clean and eco friendly too. Sheets are made every day, floors cleaned etc. Bed was unbelievably comfortable. The only qualm I have is that the pool itself was a bit dirty. Especially the baby pool. The hotel were cleaning it on the day I was leaving though.

Worth staying there

Clean and cheep! A litle bit noisy from the halls because there isn’t a carpet on the floor, and Wi-Fi fell out every now and then.

深夜着の予定だったので、空港から近いコスパのいいホテルを探しここにしました。 空港からはタクシーで20分くらいで着きました。 今回1歳の子供を連れて1泊の宿泊でしたが子連れにはおススメしませんが、コスパは良いです！

Assez bon hôtel

Excellent accueil. Equipe très serviable. En revanche, ménage très succinct, peu de luminosité dans les chambres. La nôtre donnait sur la cour et musique assez forte jusqu'à 23h.

Super Zimmer

Vorsicht es gibt 2 MaxOneHotels in Seminyak dieses ist nicht genau wie abgebildet kleinere Zimmer und wird noch renoviert aber trotzdem super sauber geile Regen Dusche super bequemes Bett und moderne Einrichtung. Pool Bereich schön aber noch verbesserungsfähig aber super Aussicht. Frühstück ganz okay. Sehr nettes Personal. Im Ersten Zimmer war die Klima defekt haben sogar nachts um 3uhr noch kurzfristig ein neues Zimmer bekommen. Für balinesische Verhältnisse echt super preisleistungsverhältnis! Haben schon in mehreren Hotels in Bali übernachtet und dieses war das beste bis jetzt! Lage auch top viel Shopping Möglichkeiten leckere Restaurants und wunderschöner Strand locker zu Fuß erreichbar! Sehr empfehlenswert!
